I went into smoothie run for the first time yesterday, took one sip of the smoothie I got and was not happy with my choice. They gave me a coupon for buy one get one so today I decided to give them another shot. I just Got there at 11:05, they open at 11:00 and someone was in there. After knocking on the locked door 5 times and not getting let i got in my car. Then I saw her go unlock the door so I went back up thinking I have a coupon may as well. The smoothies I got today are awful, no flavor. I had a buy one get one coupon and was charged 12$ but the smoothies are originally 8$? She didn’t apply my Snap Fitness 10% off, AND it’s double loyalty points on Tuesday’s and I’ve bought 4 smoothies from this place now and somehow have 2/8 stars. To top it off the employee took a phone call while I was ordering. The whole concept of the place is not great…a place that has healthy options like smoothies and salads should not have pizza, etc. NEVER RETURNING. This place should go out of business ASAP and be replaced with something else.

Planet Smoothie – Menu with Prices – 2270 Town Center Ave, Melbourne

I recently went to Planet Smoothie for a smoothie. Let me preface this review by saying that I am a smoothie aficionado. My primary breakfast every morning is a smoothie & customize my smoothies daily using a different variety of fruit along w/ additions such as turmeric, ginger root, etc. First & foremost the service at Planet Smoothie was solid. I opted for the Acai Original made w/ açaí, apple, strawberries, & bananas. I got the small 22 ounce size. I got the following add-ins for smoothie: Whole Grain Oats, Peanut Butter, & Leafy Greens I felt the add-ins would give the smoothie more sustenance along w/ some nutrients from the greens. The smoothie was A-OK yet three stars are given instead of four for several reasons. I felt the smoothie was costly for what you get. The add-ins were $1 each & the quantity of the add-ins isn’t even that great. Oats are one of the most affordable foods on the market & a small scoop of oats shouldn’t cost $1. I felt .50 cents per add-in would be more reasonable. The biggest annoyance of my smoothie was they are made w/ ice. I requested no ice & the person making my smoothie said that wasn’t possible. She made it w/ less ice even so felt the ice added a lot of filler. For the cost of the smoothie which was in fact costly felt they should be more substantial using more fruit, less ice, & less costly add-ins. If these improvements were made can see bumping my review up to four stars yet not sure if these suggestions would be implemented. On a plus side appreciate being able to customize your smoothie & it is helpful to list the calories for the smoothies along w/ the calories for each additional potential add-in for which there is a lot. Smoothies are in fact a great way to eat more fruit & can be healthy. I think Planet Smoothie would still be a better option than say Cold Stone Creamery next door. Eat more fruit!

Emerald City Smoothie Menu with Prices 221 Bellevue Way NE, Bellevue

We came here to get a smoothie, as Emerald City Smoothie recently relocated to Park Row in downtown Bellevue. Glad to have it in the area, as it provides healthier smoothies than any other smoothie spot around. We ordered a 32oz. Mango Berry smoothie to share, which is a good size for doing so. There’s also a 24oz. size option. In addition to smoothies, which you can customize to your liking, they offer acai bowls and other health products like supplements, protein powder, pre-workout mixes, etc… There was only one employee working on a Thursday late afternoon when we visited, so service was slow since there were a few customers waiting to get their smoothie. The shop here though is much better than its former downtown Bellevue location, offering more space, which allows for customers to hang out on the couch or at other seating options. I’m a fan of Emerald City Smoothie, so am glad they’ve reopened in downtown Bellevue. There are lots of healthy options here for smoothies, with some including whey protein or boosters. I like that you can customize any of the smoothies, to whatever fruit flavor, boosters, milk options, etc…you desire.

Smoothie King – Menu with Prices – 2860 E Harmony Rd Suite 120, Fort Collins

I would really like to like Smoothie King more. My first experience with them went . . . smoothly. In and out within 10 minutes, and they were decent smoothies. However, when I was there on 12/16, I ordered 2 smoothies, and sat down to wait. After waiting 15 minutes and my order wasn’t even STARTED, I went next door and got my burger order in. After waiting 15 minutes more, I went and picked up my burgers, put them in the truck and went back to waiting. Back to Smoothie King. After a total of 39 minutes, I received the first of my 2 smoothies, and after another 5 or so I got the second. An apology was given, but there was no explanation for the excessive wait, nor any effort to comp or half off next time. It’s convenient to my house, but at this point I’d rather drive an extra 5 minutes and be assured of getting the smoothie and getting started on it. Good luck Smoothie King – hope you get your act together.

MAD Nutrition & Smoothies – Menu with Prices – 4834 14th St W, Bradenton

This place is by far the best for nutritional and 26g protien smoothies without fillers. The owners are very nice and accommodating! They have no problem showing you what exactly goes into each smoothie. You can change any ingredient in your smoothie to something else. I like to get a nutty monkey and make it skinny which takes out the granola and puts in Quaker whole oats and has unsweetened almond milk. Or I’ll get the tropical treasure smoothie but take out the apple juice and replace it with unsweetened almond milk. They will make you a smoothie and give you the extras in another cup every time! This is another perk for them! Love that! They also sell supplements. Thank you for making the best smoothies around! Never drinking smoothie king again.

Planet Smoothie and Tasti D-Lite – Menu with Prices – 526 Wilshire Blvd, Santa Monica

Amazing smoothies, friendly service, very affordable! My girlfriend and I were shopping around the area and we were looking for something refreshing to drink before we left to go back home. This place happened to be exactly what we were craving and it was open later than everywhere else so we decided to stop by and pay for street parking. Drinks: Overall, they have a lot of healthy snacks (which I like a lot). They also have a wide variety of smoothies, juices, and frozen yogurt as well! I ended up getting the tropical smoothie with pineapple and leafy greens; I also opted for the large size and let me tell you, it’s LARGE. Definitely a hefty giant and well worth the price I paid for. The smoothie was bigger than my girlfriend’s head! lol Service: The two ladies working at the time were really friendly. One of them offered me free sample cups for the frozen yogurt and the other offered my girlfriend a free coupon upon receiving her drink! Overall, the smoothies tasted amazing. I like that they offer plant-based products for the customers that don’t taste like the bottom of a farmshed. The smoothie I had was almond milk based and tasted AMAZING. Definitely will be back next time we’re in Santa Monica!

Nekter Juice Bar – Menu with Prices – 32068 Temecula Pkwy STE 100, Temecula

Save yourself the time, money, and frustration and skip this place. Never have I felt this way about any establishment, but if I could give zero stars this would be the one. I went in on a random weekday afternoon, there was maybe two guests in front of us waiting patiently for their smoothie when we first arrived. We placed our order, staff was friendly at this point, and went to go sit and wait. After watching every person who ordered after us get their drinks, and after sitting for close to 45 minutes, while neither my party nor the ladies in front of us received a single drink. After waiting and realizing the staff wasn’t making our drinks ever, I finally went up to inquire about our smoothies. To which the staff member told me “I’ll be right with you to take your order” meaning my smoothies were A.) not being made, and B.) where never going to be made considering this staff member literally had no recollection my myself or my large order. After waiting for almost an hour, the staff then inform me they “forgot my ticket” and have to use my receipt to even see what I ordered, and at this point they tell me they will get to my smoothies “right after this order”. At this point I had been waiting for 4 smoothies, which I paid $10 a piece for, with over an hour wait and no sign of a sorry of any sort. Apologies, but no smoothie is worth $10 AND over an hour wait. I told him at this point, no thank you I have other plans, please just issue me a refund. This is where customer service skills would have come in handy, however the staff then processed to get rude and snappy, talking about how they didn’t know how to process a refund so they had to go make a call. 20 minutes later, a different employee emerges, and gives me cash back for two smoothies, no tax included, and tells me have a great day. At this time I had been waiting for over an hour, so I forfeited my money and left. If that tells you anything of how awful this experience was, I literally walked out paying for smoothies I didn’t even receive just to be able to leave that place. I don’t know why this location is so terrible, I have been to numerous Nekter’s with fantastic experiences, but please save yourself some money (literally) and avoid this location at all costs.

Planet Smoothie Menu with Prices 1993 S Barnett Shoals Rd, Athens

This Planet Smoothie is perhaps one of the worst owned franchises that I have ever seen. The worker cheated us out of using a coupon. It was a buy-one-get-one free. We paid for a medium and she gave us a small with the coupon where it should have been a medium. We called and nicely asked if at a later date that she could give us a medium for the price of a small. She hung up the phone on us. We called back to ask to speak to a manager. TO OUR SURPRISE, THE WORKER WAS THE OWNER. She hung up the phone on us 3 times. She also said that she did not care for our business and did not want it. She also said that she did not care if we called corporate. She was perhaps the rudest person that I have ever met working in a store. NO ONE IN MY CIRCLE WILL EVER SPEND A DIME THERE AGAIN. They perhaps will lose thousands per year or a $2 issue. Good luck

Tropical Smoothie Cafe – Menu with Prices – 8855 Immokalee Rd #1, Naples

This place is AMAZING. I love Tropical Smoothie Cafes. They have some of the best smoothies and the food is just as good! I just wish they would transition to more smoothies with no added sugar in it, however the sugar they do add is pure cane sugar which is better for you than processed (but don’t think the smoothie you’re drinking doesn’t have sugar in it). Overall, I definitely would go here and download their rewards app because you’ll be going back.

Tropical Smoothie Cafe – Menu with Prices – 922 S 10th St Suite 200, Waco

My family and I stopped by for smoothies last night and I have to say, I’m impressed by their service. You order right at the counter and they bring you your smoothie. The smoothies we received were huge and well worth it, we all really enjoyed what we got. I asked for mine without turbinado, and I loved the mellow berry and banana flavor that I got in my smoothie, it was perfect for me. Everything is made to-order and they can take anything out that you don’t like. We’re going to come back and perhaps actually try some of their food. Looks rather interesting.

Smoothie King – Menu with Prices – 600 New St Suite B, Macon

There’s a reason this location has low stars. The smoothies taste horrible and the customer service is well below the Smoothie King franchise standard. I bought a smoothie around lunch and when I tried it on my way to my first appointment for the day, it was (to say it plainly) incredibly nasty. It was so bad I couldn’t drink it. You know the smell you get from a dead skunk??? Yeah…that. A few hours later I returned it to let them know and they refused to refund my money saying it had been 3hrs since purchase. I could see if the cup was half or even 3/4 full but I took two sips! Who buys a $9 smoothie NOT to drink it. She then proceeded to insult me by saying, “I had the rest of it and it was fine.” Young lady…you look no more than 18 years old. Your taste buds haven’t even developed yet. You probably think McDonalds tastes fine too. Don’t waste your money at this location. If they make it wrong and you can’t return it immediately…they’ll refuse to refund you. Based on the reviews, I don’t think it matters. It’s bad ownerships The funny part is, I did it more as a courtesy. I wanted them to look into what may have been off in their ingredients. The smoothie is being expense for me and I won’t even be paying the bill. That’s fine…As a regular customer, I refuse to give them my money. I’ll also be sure to alert the parent company of how bad they are affecting the Smoothie King name. Be careful who you franchise to S.K.!!

Sunshine Juice Co. – Menu with Prices – 6225 E Virginia St suite c, Evansville

I love the idea of this place most of all. I’ve had some really great experiences here, like the time I ordered the Tropicana banana smoothie with plant protein. That was delicious! Expensive, but delicious. It was nice and blended and not at all the water down version of most establishments. I’m also a fan of the breakfast smoothie, but one time I ordered it and I got this water down smoothie that wasn’t frozen and it had lots of chunks of oats in it, which I did not appreciate. I do not blame the whole restaurant on this one mistake. No, this was just a case of a bad smoothie maker. But, that smoothie cost eight dollars! It was a small! I understand that fresh fruit is expensive but no small drink should cost that much. I’ve had experiences with their juices which I enjoyed very fresh and detoxifying. Be careful about the smoothies. I think I prefer making my own smoothies. The key to all good good smoothies is frozen FRESH fruit. I think this place sticks by that rule only halfway. I would go back I think, but only for the chocolate peanut butter granola. I highly recommend that!

The Smoothie Room – Menu with Prices – 25 W Crystal Lake St Suite 163, Orlando

Arrived around 6:00pm or so, which wasn’t a busy time. I had the “Chocolate Factory”, which had almond milk, almond butter, dark chocolate, organic cacao, banana, and peanut butter. I usually dislike peanut butter in any smoothie because it usually overpowers all the other flavors. This smoothie has a nice balance of all the ingredients and it actually has made me more open-minded to smoothies with peanut butter. The cashier was new and she was friendly, asking what type of smoothie I would like. She recommended 3, “Health Nut”, “Butter Face”, and “Chocolate Factory”, based of what I told her. I thought “Butter Face” was a funny name. She and the other employee were nice to answer my question on what “maca” was, and if I could have a menu copy. Right now, the prices will change, so she said I am welcome to just take a picture of the menu. I’d definitely come back here for a smoothie fix! Delicious smoothie and great customer service. The ambience is relaxing too with the art decorations. The prices were reasonable too, for the quality.
