It’s really unfortunate that a neighborhood place has to be so difficult about their five dollar credit card limit. I literally haven’t experienced a restaurant who does this in over five years. It’s super antiquated and they are plenty busy not to have this rule. The funny thing is the only person that ever makes a stink about this is the owner. And she was super rude about it. I tip every time on my $2.75 Taco, I probably get tacos here at least 2-3 times a week. The breakfast tacos are really the only thing that I like and you can’t really mess those up. There are plenty of other places for good Mexican food, the lunch tacos in my opinion are terrible. If I’m gonna have to go out of my way to get cash, I’m gonna go to an authentic Mexican food trailer that’s closer to my house. When I said this to the owner, she said that’s fine and didn’t care. As a business owner myself, I know that losing a customer over $1.50 and a few cents on your merchant account isn’t what’s important, it’s about the word of mouth that your customers have. As a happy customer I literally tell people about this place all the time. As and unhappy customer I have the same tool. Is that worth it to you, Paco’s?! Then I asked for for salsas that weren’t dirty outside (apparently it was just thawed ice) and the owner was trying to be extra nice but her daughter made a snide comment about them not being dirty. I know you don’t care about this one customer… But you should. That’s just good business.

Pupuseria Y Taqueria La Vina – Menu with Prices – 3301 N Story Rd, Irving

I have to admit Ive never really had a pupusa before. But I will say after eating here, I will be back for more! This place isnt as much as a dive as people make it. Its not fancy, but Ive been to worse looking places. I ordered a medley of things, since I wanted to try a little of everything. The fried corn tamale was excellent. The crema for dipping made it even better! I Recommend everyone order at least one of those. The pupusa was far better than I could have imagined. To me, its like a thin pita you eat with a fork. The masa was soft, flavorful, and dirt cheap. The filling isnt jammed packed, but whats there is delicious. The pork and cheese as my favorite, but the loroco and cheese was good too. The chicken tamale was probably my least favorite item, but it was still a good tamale. The filling could have been spread out better, but I can tell they make them fresh. The tacos were the surprise factor here. These tacos are tucked away on the mexican menu, but they have a strong al pastor game. I recommend everyone get a few tacos while here. The tostadas are just like their tortilla chips, which have great character. If you order the tostadas, realize that the portions will be huge. They give three medium sized tostadas with a good amount of toppings. The beef was well pronounced. The crema and queso fresco were fresh and were the workhorse of the flavor. The veggies were fresh and just the right amount in proportion to everything else. The tostadas are just like their tortilla chips, which have great character. Once the meal was over, my bill was so low! I dont know how they can afford to sell their items so low, but its great if you’re on a budget. I will be back here again, and I will definitely try more items.

Manny’s Tex-Mex Cafe – Menu with Prices – 1433 S Beckham Ave, Tyler

I had lunch there today. It was my first time there. I had Tonyâ??s Tacos. They were absolutely the best soft tacos (grilled chicken) I have ever had. I also had there queso. I have had queso at every Mexican food restaurant That I have eaten at. Hands down this was the best Iâ??ve ever tasted. All their ingredients were fresh. They donâ??t over season their food. It was perfect. I wonâ??t eat anywhere else when I want Mexican food. They have a great wait staff. Didnâ??t have to ask for anything, they were right there to take care of anything you needed. The atmosphere is like, â??Come on in and make yourself right at homeâ?. I am a customer for life. ?? I was also lucky to meet Manny and his sweet wife. They are the sweetest and most adorable couple Iâ??ve met in awhile.

Taco El Chilango Menu with Prices 1716-1728 14th St N, Arlington

This is as close to traditional Mexican street tacos as you’ll find in this area! I rarely give a five star review but here it is. I’m Mexican-American so I have pretty high standards for Mexican food. The meat here is very flavorful, and they don’t skimp on the fillers and tortillas. The servings are pretty big; last time I got four tacos but I was full after just three. The carne asada and chicken tacos were especially food. It’s a food truck so most people take it to-go, but you can eat there at the truck if you want. They also have Mexican sodas on offer. The guys who run the truck are super friendly too, and don’t worry they speak English and there are also menus in English and Spanish. Cash only.

Tacos Jerez – Menu with Prices – 17681 Beach Blvd, Huntington Beach

$1.16 TACOS – need I say more?? It was Taco Tuesday, and not gonna lie, we had heard hole mole had good taco deals down the street, but it was soo crowded! My husband and I appreciate chains, but are more of hole-in-the-wall foodies most of the time. Tacos Jerez knocks Mexican street tacos out of the park – loads of meat, cilantro and onions for days. Their sopas ($3.00) was really good too. I want to go back and try their specials because if they are as good as their tacos are, then we will certainly become regulars. The wait was a little long, probably because we ordered a butt load of tacos, but other than that we know where to go now for Taco Tuesday!

Crystal Mountain Water – Menu with Prices – 275 Quality Cir NW, Huntsville

I’ve had two accounts for many years. I think it’s been around 9 years. Have one account at work, and had one account at home. I had to cancel the home account because the delivery schedule changed almost every month. I would get random deliveries, or not get a delivery at all. Sometimes my empty bottles would sit outside for a month. I just couldn’t keep storing empties until I hit the delivery lottery. My work account has been great, though. And the customer service has been pretty good.

Cholitas Mexican Restaurant – Menu with Prices – 8987 W Central Ave, Wichita

My girlfriend and I went in to get a to-go order. We walked in and the server sat us at a table without asking if it was “for here or to-go.” They put chips and salsa on the table even though we indicated it was to-go. We thought it was a nice gesture while we looked over the menu, but when the server realized it was To-go she took them back into the kitchen. After looking over the menu we ordered Fish Tacos, Chicken Tacos, Tortas, and Tamales. After waiting about 20 minutes we got a large bag with all the food. They said chips and salsa were in the bag (they weren’t). Once we got home the salsa had leaked out of an overflowing cup and seeped through and got on everything. Once we opened the boxes of food, we were shocked. The food was disgusting. The fish tacos were one piece of frozen fish on a raw tortilla, right out of the bag (I posted pictures). The tamales were just 2 tamales thrown into a box and were super bland and tasteless. The tortas were gigantic logs of refried beans in a fried shell. The chicken tacos were just some bland chicken in tortillas. No lettuce or toppings at all on any of the food. We couldn’t even eat the food! It was generally cold and tasted extremely bad. It was literally so awful that I had to take the food back to the restaurant. Now this is where it gets interesting. I asked for the manager or owner of the store to come speak to me. When he finally came out from the back, I could see back into the kitchen and didn’t wash his hands. I foolishly tried to shake his hand. His hands were filthy and shaking his hand left me sticky and dirty. He stumbled out around and seemed disoriented. I explained how we were extremely dissatisfied with the food and he immediately became rude and aggressive. I told him to open the boxes and look at the food. He began to stuff the food into his mouth and shout at me. “Tastes good to me!” he gargled and nearly choked on his own food. The other customers in the store (there weren’t many) were horrified. As I explained to him that everyone who ate the food at my house was extremely disappointed, the owner of the business said that I was “illiterate and stupid”. I think he was attempting to say that I didn’t know about Mexican food, but he didn’t know the meaning of the word “illiterate”. I asked “Are you saying that I can’t read?” He was clearly confused by that and it was obvious that he was just trying to insult me but was failing to do so because we clearly weren’t talking about reading or literature. The owner of this store was quite possibly the rudest and most incompetent business person I have ever come across. The fact that he was attempting to insult my understanding of food by calling me “illiterate” only highlighted his lack of compassion to a dissatisfied customer. The fact that he was shoveling my order into his mouth and being agitated and aggressive further illustrates his lack of understanding. In summary, Cholitas is the worst restaurant I have ever visited. I’ll remember this experience forever and continuously tell everyone I know about the owner and how poor he treats patrons in his restaurant as well as how the food is the worst available in Wichita. I’ll make sure to never visit this establishment again.

Mi Casita Purepecha – Menu with Prices – 546 W Base Line St, San Bernardino

Bomb Food! Handmade Tortillas!! Super soft and delicious. Had a cabeza taco which was super yummy. The burrito didn’t come with aguacate though which bummed me out! Even with that false advertisement, that burrito was hella amazing! Super soft! They had so many Chile/salsa options that were brought out to us. After eating it I am full but, not stuffed to the point where I m tired of eating too much. My belly doesn’t ache, on the contrary it’s amazingly at an excellent level. They also sold little Mexican candies and goodies. I ended up purchasing some Mexican galletas for later. It’s gonna go well with some coffee. Had fresh aqua de melon with my meal. The workers were very friendly and very attentive. They didn’t want us to throw away the food ourselves, they saw us and told us they would do it themselves. That surprised me, amazing service. Definitely gonna come back to try their enchiladas! The rice was amazing, btw.

The Choppin’ Block – Menu with Prices – 2212 Madison St, Clarksville

We were visiting from out of town and had a waiter recommend this place. It was 15 minutes out of our way, but we drove to pick up a couple of steaks any way because of all the great reviews. When we walked in the service was phenomenal and the associate was very helpful. She wrapped up 2 dry aged filets for us, and we were on our way. When we got to the register the young woman let us know that it was a possibility that the credit card machine may not work and that we may have to go to the ATM to get cash. I told her that we would be happy to do that if the owner would take care of the ATM surcharge. The associate called the owner, and the owner said absolutely NOT. My experience with this establishment was not with the associates, but with the owner. The credit card machine was down and obviously that was my fault and not the owners. In my opinion, as a business owner myself, I would rather break even and keep my customer happy vs pissing off a customer. I’m sure this is not normal, but in this case I would have done anything to keep a customer happy. I will slaughter and dry age my own cow before I ever enter this establishment again. Thanks a lot to the terrible business owner!!!

Cuban Mexican Restaurant – Menu with Prices – 4016 Ulmerton Rd, Clearwater

Nestled in the corner of a strip mall off Ulmerton road is The Cuban Mexican restaurant. I have been here twice because of My Yelp friend reviews and it’s like 30 seconds from where I work. My two choices were a Cuban and 3 Mexican tacos. The Cuban was not totally authentic because they added tomato but it was an amazing cuban. I’m not sure if they made a mistake but it had cuban pork jammed inside and it was good. It had all the flavors i want out of a cuban and they didn’t skimp on the meat.(see pic) When lunch was done my belly was full and i was happy. Being a Tampa Native i know my Cuban sandwiches, my dad has been going to Ybor city for Cubans and Deviled crabs his whole life. I have literally grown up on Cubans. My second visit i got Mexican tacos, because it is the Cuban Mexican restaurant. I have to try both Cuisines!! I went for the trifecta: chicken, steak, and pork. They are double soft tortilla with onions and cilantro, and before i left the gentleman inquired if i’d like hot sauce. Ummm Hell Yes!! It was perfect, not too hot but just spicy enough to super charge the Tacos. All the meats were well seasoned and cooked just the way i like it, Not dried out. It’s a small place, only about 6 four tops and 2 high tops that could seat 6. It also had one outside table. The drink choices are typical mexican sodas with american versions as well. I love the mexican coke, it has real sugar. If you find your Family craving food from both sides of the Gulf of mexico in one place; Do yourself a favor and stop on by. No passport needed!

Covenant Crab Co – Menu with Prices – 4458 Cleveland Ave, Fort Myers

Today I went into Covenant crab to get some crabs. I just want the owner to know every weekends me or my husband coming to your establishment and buy two to three dozens of crabs. Today it was a Dollar Tree wig wearing dirty rude no class having oversized batwing lashes wearing heifer working alone. I should have turned around from entering the store the music was blasting way too loud this is supposed to be a christian-based establishment this music was very inappropriate. She wasn’t even inside of the store I had to wait for her to come in she was outside on the phone. So ask you a question counter I asked her a question about some crabs she ignored me and continue to talk on the phone. I asked her again the same question she threw up one finger in the air and you could tell by her body language she was very annoyed because I kept asking her the same question. At this point with her body language and the way she started yelling at me I asked her was she there to help the customer or not so instead of fighting with her I just told her I will go somewhere else and I will let the owner know about her nasty attitude. On the way of me walking out the door she yelled out for me to go somewhere else she did not care. It’s obvious that she doesn’t care you can tell by her appearance that she does not care the only thing she cares about is coming to work getting a paycheck she could care less if one customer don’t show up as long as she’s getting a paycheck. So with that being said I would never again visit this place of business unless this thing is removed from this establishment because I refuse to go anywhere and spend my hard-earned money if someone is ignoring me at the end of the day the customers are the one that make sure your establishment stay running because if the customer does not come and spend money you will not remain open

Chick-fil-A Menu with Prices 196 Alps Rd, Athens

This is LITERALLY the greatest CFA on Earth, only rivaled by the Barnett Shoals and Downtown location—which are GUESS WHAT–Owned by the same man, Shane Todd. I’ve said this a million times and I’ll say it a million more, Shane Todd understands customer service and is a great business owner. He treats his employees like hot commodities (they are) and as such, they act like gold. He literally reopened his CFA less than 7 hours after someone rammed through the dining area and had the drive-thru going and got the dining room open by the next day. His staff are conscientious and kind. They have treats for my dog in the drive-thru and are literally the best. I cannot speak more highly of a restaurant than the Alps Road CFA. I literally compare every other customer service to them.

Paradise Hookah – Menu with Prices – 1320 W Blaine St, Riverside

Found this place on yelp, and wanted to try. This is a cute and cozy hookah lounge with a patio outdoor smoking facility. The interior and the lights were dim and soothing while the music in the back was not to loud, just the way i like it. I ordered double apple mint, the order was taken by a sweet lady who i suppose is the owner and super down to earth. Hookah came in a couple mins. I took the first hit and i knew this place is gonna be my fav. The best doubleapple i have smoked in a while. If you are a fan of double apple its a place to try out for sure. The service was provided by Mo, who was super sweet to us. The owner offered us some free popcorn and arabic tea which was pretty sweet of her. I am totally gonna support this business, because of the service and hookah they provided, they were checking on us for coals pretty often, unlike some other hookah lounges. The hookah lasted long and later i got a head change which was pretty remarkable too. Shoutout to Mo,hes the man.
