This food stand did the job when my boyfriend and I were hungry and craving good authentic Mexican food. There is only one table and some small bar seats but you can definitely order to go. We both ordered the chicken sopes. You can’t get different meats on each one and have to order one type of meat for the three sopes that come in a meal. The sopes were a good texture but I felt like it lacked seasoning and was a bit bland. It would have been nice it there was fresh avocado and tomato. The size of the plate was very large and we were super full when we were done. The prices are extremely reasonable which is really nice not to have to spend $12 for a meal every time you’re hungry. I am eager to try some other things on their menu like their burritos and their nachos. Street parking is all there is here so you might have to park down the street and walk but probably not very far. If there’s a lot of people it can take a while so be prepared to wait.

La Costa Taqueria – Menu with Prices – 116 128th St SE, Everett

* CASH ONLY * surprisingly this little food truck has some bomb ass authentic street tacos. all of their meats are very flavorful & crazy good, but the carne asada & al pastor are my faves! you seriously can’t beat their cheap prices either; $1.50 per taco & they’re not skimpy on meat, toppings, or sauce. #winning! as for the burritos, it was pretty good. it’s big & full — filled with lots of meat, rice, beans, & sour cream. nachos are really good also & it’s a good size to split between 2-3 people. so far, these are the only ones i tried, but i’ll definitely be back to try their sopes & tortas. check this food truck out if you want to satisfy your mexican food cravings. its quick, cheap, & tasty!

Dos de Oros Taco Truck – Menu with Prices – 3310 S 24th St, Omaha

Picked up 15 burritos and 4 tacos from here on Sunday afternoon and everyone loved their food! I had 7 hungry guys working on my roof, and myself and a friend over for lunch … everyone had more than enough to eat. I had the tacos … 2 Lengua, 1 Asada and 1Pollo. With limes and 3 kinds of salsa. It was a really great meal! I don’t typically go for corn tortillas, if I have a choice, but everything about these tacos was perfect. The burritos were stuffed full and delicious. I can’t wait to pick up food from here again.

Surf up Mexican grill – Menu with Prices – 200 Main St suite 114, Huntington Beach

I went with my family down to Huntington Beach on Main Street to spend Sunday. We are hungry and looking for a good Mexican place. All the places had a long wait. I had my two kids with me and they were getting tired so we weren’t able to wait a long time for a dine in restaurant. We kept walking down the street and we saw this beautiful brand New Mexican grill. We went in to check out their menu. They had a variety selections from tacos, burritos, bowls and kids meals. It was just what we needed. We decided to try their burritos and it tasted so Delicious. My husband had their tacos it was so good. The kids had the best chicken fingers ever. Everything is made fresh in front of you. Their customer service is great. Their staff is very friendly. I do recommend this place because you get a great food and no long wait like the other restaurants around. their food is made with passion and love. I will definitely be back soon since we go often to Huntington beach

Ddeb’s- A Taste of Home – Menu with Prices – 105 Old Dr, Chesapeake

So after an afternoon of glow in the dark miniature golf. We were super hungry! I went to my bff #YELP for help on finding something locally owned, fresh food, and reasonable in cost for a party of three. Cause after all I was paying. And I was on a super budget. Lol! Other reviews on this place was pretty good. And it was right down the street from the golf place we were at… So that was a plus! It’s kind of in the cut…. Lol! But leeeettt me tell you it’s soooooo adorable!!!! It was a HOUSE! I could have sat there all day long on her porch. I totally wanted to get dessert, coffee and just sit in the porch and stare at the trees and enjoy the wind. But we were on a time crunch too. Lol! I’m getting ahead of myself… I haven’t told you about the food yet. Lol! It was actually the owner that sat us! She was very nice too! She ask us if we had an reservation. I did tell her no. But she said that was fine and still sat my party of three. Let me tell you I’ve eaten at a couple of mom and pop restaurants. This one was by far an extremely cozy one. It was like I was at my aunt’s house sitting in the dining room eating. We did order an arrangement of things. I was totally thinking of myself. And forgot! My party didn’t eat pork and I order that mouth watering appetizer I saw someone else had on #yelp Lol! I can go on and on about this place! But you have to try it to get the experience. It’s the perfect place for a date night or if you want to propose to your spouse. Make sure you invite me too if you go. Lol! It’s quite romantic. The food was absolutely great! The only one down fall was a couple pieces of my appetizer weren’t totally fried. Some of them were cold. But it was still good. Prices are reasonable. And customer service is EXCELLENT!!!!!! From when you arrive until you leave. Overall great experience!!!!!

Bernardos Burritos – Menu with Prices – 215 4th St, Des Moines

First-rate burritoria right in downtown! Note that this is in a basement between Fong’s and the Copper Cup (you might miss it otherwise). I was especially pleased that a. the hot salsa had some kick and b. I was able to take my burrito over to the bar, sit and watch Tour de France and order a beer while I ate my burrito. The prices are a bit more than the typical burritoria experience, but given the quality and location, it seems reasonable. I think I paid $8 for a Carnitas burrito, which as noted is a bit high, but I’m definitely going back. Regarding Carnitas, even though I normally avoid meat, I have a weakness for Carnitas and almost always order Carnitas burritos when I visit this type of burrito restaurant, which means I have a fair measure for comparing from one place to another (although biased if they do the carnitas itself well or poorly – it’s a style of cooking pork). I think this is the best burrito I have had in Iowa (I know 2-3 places in California that consistently have better Carnitas burritos and the other places I frequent in California have Carnitas burritos comparable to Bernardos – including the place I eat burritos most often for convenience when there.)

Gracie’s Deli – Menu with Prices – Corporate Centre, 4-110 E Sunshine St, Springfield

From bagels and breakfast burritos to fried chicken and pulled pork, this deli isn’t your ordinary deli. Each day of the week they have a special. You’re guaranteed to not walk away feeling hungry. The portion sizes are large and the prices are low. The customer service is top notch in this family owned diner.

Fred’s Breakfast Burrito – Menu with Prices – 130 W 70th Ave, Denver

I want this this place too be awesome,,great mex food, some breakfast burritos (Chorizo) a bit salty, Cheese Enchiladas good, my only real gripe is they don’t put enough Green Chile on the orders. I buy breakfast burritos for my crew at work and we all have the one and only same complaint, why so little Green Chile?? Just down the street on Wash.. Burrito&Company gives a ton of Green Chile n prices are cheap so imagine you can do the same…I mean really if you are craving Green Chile do you want just a little so it’s still semi dry? This is with smothered and handheld burritos same problem. Fix this please I will be there much more often.

Mariscos Alex – Menu with Prices – 4269 Fairmount Ave, San Diego

I’ve tired seafood at numerous taco shops and 4-5 star restaurants but no where seems to beat the ceviche here! I come here at least a couple times out of the week on my lunch break. The prices are extremely reasonable, for the quality of the food. Honesty can’t be beat. If you’re on a time crunch call ahead to place a to-go order as the line can get pretty long. They only accept cash so make sure you have some cash on you before going. The staff is super sweet and makes sure to give you quality food every time. They usually will give you a free soup to sip on while you wait for your order. If you’re looking for quality fresh seafood and extremely reasonable pricing you must try Mariscos Alex. My go-to order is always shrimp ceviche with a fish taco. Or their massive fish burrito (its delicious).

Catering By Charlie and Associates – Menu with Prices – 25530 Avenue Stanford, Valencia

Outstanding caterer! Charlie is very knowledgeable about food, including current tastes and trends. The ingredients he uses are top notch and extremely fresh. We trusted him to provide all of the food for a large shower. Our guests loved the sweet and sour meatballs, mac and cheese, pasta salad, Chinese chicken salad, and big trays of assorted sandwiches made with different breads and generous portions of meat. Charlie is a delight to work with, so eager to do what’s best for the event and what’s right for the number of guests. He is also courteous. His website may look old school and modest, but he can put together all kinds of cuisine and delivers the highest quality food at reasonable prices. This catering company is housed in The Sandwich Shop, a local secret that has loyal customers, especially from the movie studios and other businesses in the industrial park.

The Kebab Guys – Menu with Prices – 1727#A, Berryessa Rd, San Jose

[Takeout review] There are a lot of options in the Bay (even in the South Bay!) for fast/casual kabobs that will scratch your itch, so I did not expect to enjoy my food as much as I did. Takeout of the mixed shawarma and mixed kabob plates with the hummus was absolutely delightful, the meat was decent (even though it is not supposed to be of the same quality, I enjoyed the shawarma more than the kabobs), the sides were absolutely excellent and worked so well with the pita provided. I was legitimately stuffed after eating exactly half of one order. Aside from the food, the employees with whom I interacted were quite friendly and welcoming. I first went literally a day after the soft opening (i.e. takeout only) and they were clearly putting a lot of love and care into the space. The food alone was 5 stars, I would hope the overall dine-in experience would match up. The meal was well above replacement level, and the prices are reasonable considering the (generous) takeout portion sizing. I will 100% be back, especially with their extremely smooth and easy takeout process, and given how good the basics are I am eager to try some of the other menu items as well.

Abe’s Place – Menu with Prices – 1628 E 6th St, Tucson

Basic, plain and simple Mediterranean food. Large portions, reasonable prices, tasty food. We ate in on a recent Monday lunch hour, a little concerned that we’d be overwhelmed by hungry students from the University across the street. That wasn’t the case at all. There were no other customers eating in. We did see a few deliveries going out. We were able to sit and chat, renewing old friendships, for more than two hours. I had the falafel plate, and my friends each had the gyro meat place. Everything was really good, hot, fresh, delicious. We were all drinking bottomless ice teas, which went really well with the food. Definitely a terrific spot for masses of good Mediterranean food. We’d all return.

The Printers’ Plate Cafe – Menu with Prices – 19681 Pacific Gateway Dr, Torrance

I know it’s kind of hard to find this place, when you do, you will be HAPPY! I love this place for every reason but most importantly for the great taste. I tried a lot of different things on the menu and it never disappoints. Anywhere from burgers, sandwiches, and burritos… so good. The service is great, they are super sweet. If you work near the area and need a place to go to during your lunch break do check this place out! Prices are reasonable too~
