Hello! I would like to express my POOR experience here at California Billiards. I come here every week and usually have a great experience. I have built a good relationship with the usual weekly bartenders that I see during pool league. I came here for ONE drink during a dart tournament and received THE worst service from an old bartender with long hair. I was taken back by how rude she was after the official last call. I witnessed her serve “regulars” after last call but give sarcastic remarks to non regulars. If you call last call on the microphone, that should be for everyone! I was drinking water and this particular old bartender told me I needed to leave because it was after 2am and I was apparently not part of the dart competition. I was appalled by her RUDE attitude and sarcastic remarks, even using profanity with other customers. I can’t patronize an establishment that allows their employees to behave in such a manner! If you are not happy with your work or cannot handle the workload maybe you need to seek other opportunities!

The Vortex Menu with Prices 1167 Brittain Rd, Akron

the bartender was asked if they served a certain brand of beer and these supposed owner came over and suggested we should possibly read the menu. It was our first time there. There Were Ten of us ready to spend money in his establishment. One of our friends was already intoxicated although she had no interest in driving a vehicle nor had she driven one and she had already been given an ice water. When the supposed owner got smart with the young lady who asked about a certain brand of beer she got a little smart back saying she was just asking at that point he said you were no longer drinking any beer tonight. There is no reason for this man to treat this young lady so disrespectfully. At that point he became so disrespectful to all of us we no longer felt the need to treat him respectfully so we were exiting his establishment keep in mind we had all purchased $30 tickets to enter so that was $300 we paid to enter his bar that night we had been there for all of two minutes. He followed us outside saying he was going to call the police there was 10 of us we were all women and he was so threatened by us apparently where he thought he should call the police or maybe he thought he would get our license number… much to his surprise we were in a limo so he really couldn’t call the police and report what we will be driving away in because none of us were drinking and driving. There is no reason for someone who owns such a dive bar to disrespect 10 women who were dressed respectfully one of which who was already drinking ice water when the only question that was asked was do you sell Michelob Ultra or something to that effect. It was a simple question it required a simple answer it did not require a smart mouth or a disrespectful attitude. It seems as though he saw $300 walk to his door and decided he already had his commission for the night but what he did not now is he could have made a significant amount of money for the rest of the evening because we would have spent money because we did have a limo to drive us 45 minutes back home so who’s loss is it really? I would never recommend going there no matter what the venue is ever again to anyone for any reason because just because his arms are big doesn’t mean he’s a big tough guy because all he saw was ten little girls and felt he needed to call the police. At no point did we have any intention of being disrespectful to his bartender or him until we were shown such disrespect. We are all in the same industry so we would never have been disrespectful to his serving staff… so once again I say shame on him

Kanpai of Toyko – Menu with Prices – 533 Haywood Rd, Greenville

WORTH THE LONG READ. PLEASE SHARE. I had an awful experience at Kanpai of Tokyo on Haywood road this past Saturday. I donâ??t frequent the restaurant. I went because it was my grandsonâ??s birthday. I chose not to sit at the table because I wasnâ??t going to eat. I did however, go to the bar an ordered a drink. I asked the bartender if I could open a tab. She told me that I could just come back and back later. As I was walking back to order another drink she informed me that the assistant manager said that I needed to pay now. So, I sat down at the bar to order my drink. A different guy bartender was there. He walked back and forth for about 5-10 minutes before I finally asked him if he could help me. He told me that I had to wait for the other bartender to come back. I watched him make several drinks before I finally asked him why couldnâ??t he make my drink. He asked me very sarcastically…. what do you want? Of course, I told him. As he was bringing my drink to me I asked him for an orange slice. He then exhaled like it was his last breath. I asked for my check so that I could pay and get out of there. Meanwhile, my son came to the bar to order a drink. When he tried to get his attention, he walked away. I told my son that the guy already had an attitude with me. My son asked the guy what was the problem with serving us. He then hollered… I DONâ??T HAVE A PROBLEM. Iâ??M NOT SERVING YOU… CALL THE POLICE!…. Iâ??m like wtw. You have an attitude and you want to call the police on us! The assistant manager came over saying that they were calling the police and we need to leave because they were not going to serve us. I asked what did she witness that would warrant her to call the police. Then she hollers at me…. PAY FOR YOUR DRINKS AND LEAVE! Which I had done long before she walked up to the bar. OMG you already know that it went south after that. A lot of cursing and I am ready to go to blows with both of them. The manager came over to assess the situation and eventually served my son his drinks.. . This is one of many situations where the police are called for no apparent reason. Our situation could have played out differently. Innocent people have lost there lives to due to misuse of the police force. My money may not break them but it sure wonâ??t make them. I ask that you do the same. Despite what you think of them, recognize what they think of you. Remember that the next time could be you or your family member. #blacklivesmatter #notmymoney . MIYABI NEXT TIME!

Eurasia Restaurant – Menu with Prices – 8793 Tamiami Trail E # 120, Naples

Worst experience ever . Came in saw that it was busy which I was fine with and was told I could not place a to go order. Strange I know , told the hostess I will see if the bar has any room , which they did . Bartender was excellent had my glass of red wine which was alright but not the best . As I’m drinking my red glass I see someone place a to go order even though I WAS told I could not do that smh. But you know what I didn’t mind it but as I go to pay for my wine the hostess comes to the bar and tells the bartender no to go orders I already told her this . And I told the hostess I wasn’t going to place one I was just paying my tab to leave then she walked away . Bartender was just as confused as me . So if I could give this place 0 stars I would maybe my next experience will be better but as of right now I’m not happy. Plus I live in Naples so yeah not good

Elysian Seafood – Menu with Prices – at Auction House Market, 801 Magazine St, New Orleans

Giving Auction House 4 stars — would have had 5 but one bartender was rude and it soured the experience from the beginning. She had a horrible attitude, which is why this review is being written. Drinks, delicious; ambience, terrific. Again, only issue was with the demeanor of this employee. It’s a shame too because she made a good drink. She had a “pillbox” tattoo. Sat down at the bar with a friend as she slapped down a menu and walked off; my friend asked “what just happened.” Then she came back to I.D. Us. No problem with the carding, but again, attitude. Not pleasant. I’m here to spend money and socialize; I don’t need an attitude in the process. I don’t even expect someone to bend over backwards or go out of their way to tend bar, but don’t make the customer uncomfortable. It was uncomfortable. However, another female bartender assisted later and was fabulous, polite, and pleasant. Now, the rude bartender may have had personal issues going on which I didn’t know about. Maybe she was having an off day. Got it. But her attitude wasn’t even neutral; she was rude to a group. Everyone in the group noticed at separate times. Female Brunette with short hair and a “pillbox” tattoo. Won’t be going back if she’s tending bar, which is unfortunate because the overall place was great. Still giving four stars for that.

Gila River Hotels & Casinos – Lone Butte – Menu with Prices – 1077 S Kyrene Rd, Chandler

This place is absolutely awful! I’ve read some of the reviews and it seems like people have had similar situations as mine. My boyfriend and I went with my parents for a fun date night at the casino, only to be treated like absolute crap. We all spent a lot of money at this casino and were treated like criminals. Around 1am we were sitting at the bar having some drinks and casually chit chatting with each other when we realized the bartender was ignoring the fact that we needed refills. The manager was there so we asked him and he asked his bartender if we could get drinks and the bartender said he was trying to “slow us down”. Let me remind you we were not acting obnoxious or anything. We also advised that we were getting a Lyft home and not driving. The manager said we could get more drinks as long as we drank some water so we agreed and drank our water and got up to leave. On our way out we decided to have one more drink for last call (since the manager said all we needed to do was drink water) after we paid for our last round of drinks the manager literally hunted us down and scolded us saying he had cut us off (which he had not). We saw so many people stumbling around who couldn’t even walk and he cut us off. This place is ridiculous, we were escorted out and told to not be let back in. Which I gladly will never step inside a Gila River casino again.

Wilshire Club Inc – Menu with Prices – 2917 W Wilshire Blvd, Oklahoma City

Walked in at 1:05 this am, after a serious personal crisis in my life. I thought I’d have a quick drink and chill before last call. Asked for a double, got a single. I brought it up to the bartender and she sternly leaned over, trying to be intimidating and said, “are you questioning my pour?”, “Well ya, kinda” and I looked at the glass with a single shot in it. Then she proceeded to accuse me of drinking out of it when she wasn’t looking. Both my friend and a total stranger defended me, “no she did not”. She measured 2 shots of water from a single glass on tap and poured it into a double shot glass and stuck it next to mine and it was still short. Then she proceeded to say “WOW” like an angry child repeatedly. Then, poured the rest of my shot and yelled, “Last call” at 1:15 AM. Beware of “Flo” and the leopard cat glasses and bad Celtic tattoos. This uppity, rude, hipster, baby- boomer obviously hates her job and likes to project her bad attitude onto patrons.

grumpy gary – Menu with Prices – 101 N Ocean Dr, Hollywood

I went in with my 18 year old son who had heat exhaustion and I purchased 3 bottles of water at the bar. My son sat across the bar in one of the empty tables. The bartender was nice enough to ask if he was ok since he was nauseous and not looking well. A few minutes later the manager showed up at our table and asked if he needed an ambulance and we said no but that he needed a few minutes to recover then he says â??oh well, we canâ??t have this hereâ? That we needed to leave. Mind you the area by the bar was practically empty and not during rush hour times but we where rudely asked to leave. So the manager stood there until we left like we where a nuisance. The manager showed no compassion and made it clear that he didnâ??t care if my son was sick and that he needed a few minutes to recover from the heat. I will never eat at this restaurant and the bottled water was over priced anyway. The bartender was nice and showed more professionalism than the manager.

Junction West – Menu with Prices – 310 S West St suite 110, Raleigh

I’ve never been treated so poorly by a bartenders before, nonetheless in Raleigh. I went here with a large group of friends and we were sitting out side drinking when a bartender came and demanded we leave because they found cans of outside alcohol and assumed it came from our larger group. Keep in mind – everyone in our group has beers from Junction in our hand while this bartender is demanding us to leave. We repeatedly tell him it wasn’t ours, and tried to meet in the middle asking if we could finish our drinks that we’ve purchased. He threatened to call the cops on us and have us arrested, insisting we were breaking the law. It was a very bizarre experience. Regardless, Junction West will never be receiving my business again. So many other bars in Raleigh with better staff.

Yogis Grill – Menu with Prices – 1245 W Chandler Blvd #4, Chandler

NEVER COME HERE. The staff is SOOO rude. Walked in, no one said hi or welcomed me. The people in front of me asked lots of questions and she had a terrible attitude the whole time, seriously made my experience miserable. She did not smile once, so extremely rude, if you hate your job that much, maybe it’s time to find a new one. I ordered a to-go chicken teriyaki bowl with noodles. Every time I’ve ordered this, it comes with just chicken and noodles, like I ordered. This time I received my Togo order and there was barely any chicken, noodles with veggies and rice. Not what I ordered at all. And it has never came like that either. I called back and the same girl with the terrible attitude answered argued with me on the phone and basically blamed it all on me and I ordered it wrong…. what the he**? I asked to speak to a manager and she said “There isn’t one here.” So I asked when they would be in and she said she couldn’t give me that information. I asked for the managers name so I could call back and speak with him/ her. She also told me she couldn’t give me their name. So I finally asked if she could write down my information and have a manager call me, she said “Sure” “what’s the name” and I asked if she needed my number and she said no. How is a manager going to call me without having my number? Interesting! A few days later and I have yet to receive a phone call. Yogis grill is the worst company and I will never be giving them business again, hire employees that LIKE THEIR JOB! I hope this place shuts down, they don’t deserve anyone’s business.

19th Street Station – Menu with Prices – 339 19th St, Oakland

I just had a really horrible and offensive experience with the bartender/owner here. As a sober person it is hard to find places to watch sports publicly where it’s accepted to not be drinking. I came in here for game 1 of the NBA finals, ordered and paid for a club soda, and stood for the first quarter, as there wasn’t available seating. A little after the second quarter started, a table opened up and I sat down, and watched the rest of the second quarter sitting there as I finished my club soda, planning to order another club soda at halftime. Halftime begins, and the bartender/owner comes up to me yelling that I need to give up the table, that I’ve been “taking up a table just on a club soda,” and that “other people needed seats,” despite the fact that I was not saving any seats and would have been more than happy to share the table if anyone had asked. He then proceeds to escalate and raise his volume in front of the other patrons, as if I were being drunk and disorderly. So apparently, unless you’re drinking alcohol you’re not welcome here, even if you’re paying for non-alcoholic drinks. A really awful experience.

Miss Cue North – Menu with Prices – 216 New Towne Square Dr, Toledo

Been here before, nice place, nice tables, good service. But last night the bartender was rude from the beginning, but just brushed it off and ignored it at first. She gave attitude to most people in my party at different times and even other groups where talking about the rude bartender. She charged for doubles, when he didnt ask for a double pour. He even came back to the table saying he thought he pissed the bartender off by asking for less Sprite since it was in a tall glass. She did ask if we wanted to play by the hour when we were already 10 feet away walking to the table, so we were charged by the hour, when we could have paid an all night fee for more than half the cost. And no discount for ladies night since men played at the table. Just be aware of the underlying charges and attitude.
