My wife and I just got married and during the planning process decided that for our cake nothing would be better than Nothing Bundt Cakes. It’s sentimental to our relation and delicious. We called about two weeks in advance and ordered 240 bundtinis and a tiered wedding cake for us to cut into. Our wedding was in Sedona, AZ which is about a two hour drive away. Since the cakes needed to stay cooled until dessert time they rented us coolers big enough to transport them safely. The cakes looked amazing and were a hit with all the guests. We even had people taking boxes home for later. The flavors we chose were red velvet, white chocolate raspberry, confetti, and pecan praline. With about 100 people at the wedding there were barely any cupcakes left (I believe that’s a good sign). I recommend this place for small and large get togethers, they truly made our day so special

Specialty Cakes – Menu with Prices – 1560 Wabash Ave, Springfield

If you want the best cake for your event, check out Specialty Cakes! They offer so much more than just cake but for our wedding we were looking specifically for cake. Cake tasting is probably the most exciting and anticipated event during the planning process! Specialty Cakes delivered with excellent flavor, presentation, easy process, and wonderful workers! Even though we all wanted to go taste more cake, we knew in the first few bites that we were sold. Who says a wedding cake has to be a boring white and chocolate cake? This place offers so many great options. My husband and I couldnâ??t make up our minds, so our wedding cake included 4 different flavors, White, Lemon, Strawberry, and Banana! They also made us an amazing Rumchata adult sheet cake and a Spice/Red Velvet sheet cake for all of us to enjoy! Our guests were incredibly happy with all of the options and raved about the flavor and design of our cake. We could not be happier with our decision on working with Specialty Cakes, they were tremendous with our whole wedding!

Cotton Bug Bakery Menu with Prices 14 James Brown Blvd, Augusta

Forgot to get a birthday cake for my co-workers! I called and they said yes they have cakes for immediate pick up. Their cakes are not Walmart/Publix prices. So if your looking for cheap, go somewhere cheap. They do not offer standard cake flavors (vanilla/chocolate). If you are looking for standard cake go somewhere else. If you are looking for amazing quality, taste and ingredients then come here. I got last minute a multi-layer velvet cake and cheesecake. They charged just a few dollars to write on the cake. For the cheesecake, it was amazing, not too sweet and the included strawberry sauce on the side (per my request). The cakes were sooo heavy! I definitely good amazing amount of cake. The red velvet also tasted amazing!

Lincoln Cake Lady – Menu with Prices – 8208 Dorset Dr, Lincoln

My wife and I heard the “Cake Lady” did great cakes so for our wedding we ordered two. A chocolate one, and a “wedding cake” flavored one. We were old school and back in the day wedding cake had a distinctive flavor, which the cake lady knew and said was vanilla and almond and yes she also made cakes with that flavor for people like us. With the fresh raspberry puree between the layers and the butter cream frosting these two cakes were without question the best we’ve ever had, which was also the comment by many of the foodie family guests we. Three years latter we still talk about it. Since the wedding we’ve ordered two others cakes, one for a graduation which I took out to Cheyenne Wyoming with the car’s A/C blowing on it, and one for fun. My wife and I have since moved to Kansas City but we miss these and would strongly recommend the Cake Lady to anyone wanting a memorable cake. She is great to work with and does a spot on job!

Sunday Rose Cakes – Menu with Prices – 6056 Greenspring Road, Fredericksburg

Greg and I met Lautonia at a Bridal Expo. As soon as I met her, I knew that she had to make our cake. Not only did she have an infectious smile and pleasant disposition, her cakes were delicious too. She did not disappoint us. Our wedding cake was gorgeous. It was the best wedding cake I ever had. Normally, I don’t eat all of the cake at a wedding. This time I wanted more. Our first bite photo turned into we are eating this entire slice. Each layer (chocolate, red velvet and cookie butter) was equally moist and delicious. We doubt that the top layer will make it to our anniversary. From our initial meeting, to the cake tasting and wedding, we had a wonderful experience. We recommend Sunday Rose Cakes 1000times over.

Sweet Angel Cakes – Menu with Prices – Open By Appointment Only, 6331 E Brainerd Rd, Chattanooga

Toni is the sweetest person alive. She is not only personable, charismatic, but can make a mean cake. Her bakery has top notch cakes with the most amazing frosting my mother in law and i have ever had and I’m not even a cake person. I had spoken to Toni via emails a few time regarding a tasting for wedding cakes, and she was very prompt in replying, and you can hear how much she loves her job in her emails. She’s the same in person. We chose her for my wedding not only bc we loved her cake, but we adored working with her! For the tasting, we were able to try the yellow cake, chocolate cake, white cake, and then some fruit fillings (raspberry and apricot), buttercream and almond buttercream. Top Notch. We loved everything. Toni was also nice enough to make my fiancé a to go plate since he couldn’t be there. I honestly can’t recommend sweet angels cake enough. Prices are reasonable, cakes are amazing, and service is amazing. an’t wait to have my dream wedding cakes in April April 27th 2019: Thanks Toni for making all of my dreams come true! The cakes were Beautiful and also oh so delicious.

Bella Luna Bakery – Menu with Prices – 308 W State St, Rockford

If you scroll down to see pamelas review of the cake that is exactly how our cake was.First, I would like to say that they did open their store on a sunday for us which we appreciated so that we could pick up the cake. This was an order over the phone and i was told by the owners that they normally dont like taking orders over the phone for cakes. We ordered a 2 tier wedding cake and a sheet cake.We opened the sheet cake when we got home and it had a crack in the middle of it and the decoration on the cake was a rookie job.The 2 tier cake also looked like a newbie had made this. This was a marble cake and was crumbly, stale, not moist and was very very embarrassed to serve this to our guests. But we had no choice this was a wedding reception.I immediately contacted them the next day and took the 2 tier cake and left over sheet cake to them and i wanted them to taste it but they poked at the left over sheet cake and one of the owners said it was moist inside and the other owner said she could see what i was talking about.I asked them what they could do and they had mentioned a 12% discount back on what we paid for it.They preceded to tell us that they do not like making marble cakes that they end up being dry.I then told her that my grandmother really wanted to have a chocolate cake but you talked her out of it and said that it wasnt good for a wedding cake so she agreed to the marble cake.Luna Bakery did agree to redo the 2 tier cake for us and they asked me what kind of cake i wanted and i told them chocolate. The owner then told me that chocolate runs dry also.I stood there in disbelief because we have had many cakes from different special occasions that have had chocolate and i have never witnessed any form of dryness. In fact, my husbands brother his daughter just had a wedding in july of this year and her wedding cake had 5 different flavors and not one of them was dry.I picked up the cake 2 days later and opened up the box on the one cake and it was smaller in size and no decorations of any kind. These were to be redone the same way.The second topper had no decorations on it either.BOTH cakes tasted and looked awful. We had a small family gathering that night and we were going to finish the lower cake and wrap the top for their first anniversary. This is a practice in our family to wrap the topper. The cake was dry and a taste hung in your mouth after you ate it.The cake had a thin layer of frosting that was supposed to be butter cream and it was not butter cream.I looked at a review down below and the ladies name is pamela look at her review for it is the same type of cake we had.I hate to give such a negative review but my family is wanting me to say what happened because if someone else wants to have one done for a wedding or special occasion you really really need to think twice about ordering one from here.If an owner reads this review i plan on not arguing over this review and will not respond back.Your second attempt was not good but worse.I really hope for the best for you all in this business and listen to these reviews.

Nothing Bundt Cakes – Menu with Prices – 2100 Standiford Ave Suite E17-18, Modesto

I LOVE this chain. Definitely affordable desserts like no other. I had this early misperception that the cakes would be too thick and flavorless. So not true! The cakes are filling yes but they are so flavorful and comforting. I always order the single packs of red velvet. Occasionally I order the confetti flavored. Each location has their own stamp card though that you can’t mix together. Probably because each location is owned by different people. Over the weekend, I ordered two single cakes of lemon and red velvet as a birthday gift and they offer to wrap it. Adding a flower would be an extra $1. The celebratory flag words and ribbon were free (or I hope so because they never informed me it would cost extra). Featured was the product for less than $11. I think it’s a steal and it’s nice to have two flavors of cake rather than just the general one.

Hands on Sweets – Menu with Prices – 3601 W Kennedy Blvd E, Tampa

We engaged Hands On Sweets to make our wedding cakes, and here’s what you need to know about them: 1- The chefs, Carlos and Marie, are incredibly kind and helpful. Any time we had a question or request, they were responsive and really quick to offer suggestions that clearly came from years of experience both as pastry chefs and participants in the complexities of event planning. 2- The cake is so delicious that I want to use some really strong language to describe it, but I don’t want this review to get censored, so OH MY GOODNESS will have to suffice. We got two wedding cakes, one chocolate cake with chocolate ganache and fresh strawberries, the other lemon cake with lemon curd and raspberry preserves… and our guests were floored. My mother-in-law begged a plastic bag off of the wedding venue to smuggle some out in her purse, that’s how good it was. 3- They’re accommodating! A few of our guests had allergies, so we requested a dozen vegan-gluten-free cupcakes, and Chef Marie went over and beyond, and decorated the cupcakes to look like popcorn boxes. I saw a few non-vegans sampling them too! 4- They really want you to be happy with the end result. That’s what matters most to Marie and Carlos, and it shows in the way they treat their customers and the way they make their cakes. I STRONGLY recommend Hands On Sweets, and would definitely book them again for any event.

Wedding Cakes By Jim Smeal – Menu with Prices – 657 N Sterling Dr, Charleston

JIM SMEAL made our wedding cake years ago and my husband and i still talk about our amazing cake. It is still to this day the best wedding cake I have ever tasted (and we thought that at the tasting) Jim truly makes cakes that are as tasty as they and are beautiful! Over the years, we have ordered mini cakes for birthdays and anniversaries and his work has always been consistent. When you’ve been making cakes for decades that’s not always true. If you want a truly memorable cake for any occasion have your cake made by Jim Smeal (I love them all but recommend the white chocolate with real raspberry puree filling . It’s icing is light and not overly sweet like a lot of weekend cakes. The cake is so moist and just as good for our first anniversary as it was our wedding day)

Cakes by Gray Menu with Prices 41N Merrimon Ave, Asheville

Melissa is SO talented with her creative flavors and designs that I was instantly drawn to her when booking a baker for our wedding. Because we were having a very small and intimate wedding of only 36 guests Melissa gave us a box full of cupcakes for our cake tasting! She not only filled the box with the options we wanted to try but she also gave us many more options of her very best recommendations. I must admit that they were all so very delicious that it made it very hard to choose! We settled on a 3-tiered marble and red velvet “naked” cake. The top and bottom tiers were marble and the middle tier was red velvet, all covered in buttercream icing. We also had Melissa make caramel-dipped Granny Smith apples for us and our guests as a delicious wedding favor. We received so many compliments over how beautiful the cake was and how delicious the cake and the apples were! I’m so glad I stumbled upon Melissa and were able to book her for our most important and special day. Thank you Melissa!!

Tasty Cakes and Confections – Menu with Prices – 7325 Elizabeth St, Cincinnati

Susie and Robin do an AMAZING job with their cakes and confections. My husband and I tried some samples from Susie and before we were even finished (before Susie had even left and we could discuss it) he said she was hired! Luckily, we were both completely on the same page. We even decided to have a dessert table for our wedding favors, and they were a huge hit. They provided a lot of guidance for numbers, what guests generally like, did setup and the cost was affordable. We had (deep breath) cake balls, buckeye balls, ginger molasses cookies, sugar cookies, cake balls of a number of flavors, cupcakes (instead of wedding cake) of whatever flavors we asked for (chocolate peanut butter, lemon, chocolate raspberry, white, etc), some pumpkin flavors…. these delicious mint things… I’m probably missing some stuff, but the desserts were a highlight of our reception for us (we both love our sweets) and for our guests. We’re also fans of the black raspberry chip Graeters flavor, and they did a wonderful version of that for our own cake for the cake cutting. I believe everything is made in-house (including their own fruit/other flavorings) and you can tell in the vibrant flavors. As is always important for a business that interacts with stressed wedding couples, they responded quickly to emails, were to the point, friendly and were adaptable while adding their expertise to the evenings plans. Can’t recommend them enough, and my husband is already bemoaning that we live out of town and can’t have their creations on a regular basis.
