I’ve been here a few times for chicken shawarma and the food has been good. The restaurant is a little odd just because it’s in this weird nook and the kitchen seems bigger than the area where you eat and a. Few times I’ve been in here it is hot as hell temperature wise thought my face would melt off. The food is good but I usually get it to go most of the time also they have kids there all the time whenever I’ve been there and they are doing some type of job, which is cute and all but hope they aren’t really working there since they are young and the vibe for me is off. Food 5 star restaurant 3 star so I will give it a 4. Food was good a little more rustic and not so polished like some places downtown I like that.

Young Donut – Menu with Prices – 8002, 2000 Esters Rd #108, Irving

Took a stroll over to Young Donut after noting the five-star reviews. I hope I am wrong, and I’m sad to say it, but this place may be past its prime and was certainly not a five-star spot. Donuts were not particularly fresh, unfortunately. Average at best. Not terrible, and prices were inexpensive, so if one is seeking a very average donut at an affordable price, than Young Donut could serve the purpose, but there’s little to suggest greatness. They still make an effort for kids by decorating some of their donuts with characters such as Mickey Mouse. Customer service was OK. From previous reviews it would seem that this place had the luster and appeal of a brand new and deluxe maple bar. I’m afraid the luster is off the donut. Not much reason for me to return.

Grad School – Menu with Prices – 1744 Broadway Blvd, Kansas City

High quality food, cool old school vibe on the inside, what’s not to love? After stopping at Boulevard for a beer the family decided on burgers for dinner, searched for what was around us and saw this place popped up. Knowing it was new we didn’t know what to expect, especially since we had kids in tow. After finding some on street parking (not sure if they have a parking lot), we stepped inside and were treated to a wonderful old school decor and vibe. Lots of booths throughout the restaurant with a few booths and bar seating as well. We grabbed a booth by the window and had a fantastic view of the Kauffman and downtown. Our server was great, he thoroughly explained the menu to us and told us that they indeed had a kids menu even though it wasn’t printed on the regular menu. We chose a beer from their expansive list and ordered food. I had the full ride burger, my kids split a kids cheeseburger and fries, and my wife had a dozen wings, 6 house sauce and 6 of their house/sweet and spicy mix. The burger was one of the best burgers I’ve had in the city, they were 2 thinner patties that were extremely juicy and had just the right amount of grease on the outside for extra flavor, it only took me like 3 minutes to scarf down the whole thing. My kids loved their burger as well and the wings were delicious as well. The only small complaints I would have on the food would be on the wings to have more sauce, they had enough for good flavor, but left you wanting just a bit more sauce. And the spice level on the burger, all their food normally comes with 0 spice, but they gave the option of 1 Star to 5 Star spice level, who the waiter assured me was deathly spicy since they use ghost pepper powder while making it. Naturally enjoying spicy food, I got my burger a 5 star, I would rate the spice level more of a 4-5 out of 10. Although the sauce had great flavor, it just wasn’t that spicy, I ordered a side of it to eat with my fries instead of ketchup. Overall our meal was great and we plan to come back since there was so much more on the menu that really looked good to us. They also had a pretty large beer list that I would like to try as well.

Orange Julius – Menu with Prices – 6901 22nd Ave N, St. Petersburg

This is probably the worst place I’ve ever been to. It’s 3 young kids and they don’t know how to run a small restaurant. You can here them give each other attitude. And they give you an attitude, way too immature. Please don’t go here. It’ll take them 20 mins to make a blt. Shit is wild don’t ever come here Go eat dirt before you come here

Faialense Sport Club – Menu with Prices – 1121 Cambridge St, Cambridge

Good food and good crowd. Seafood is fresh. And the atmosphere was amazing. We got to know and got talking to the people who were sitting right next to us. They even shared with us their homemade desserts. It was such a fun atmosphere. It felt really nice to be welcomed and be part of a community. It was definitely a different experience. The food was also fresh and the drinks were good too. The only thing is when we come back, we have to go early so that by the time our food arrives, we arent so hungry and almost past our hunger. But this is not their fault. They arent restaurant style/type. We knew this but we had to try it. We should have gone there right when they open. What I noticed is that the people cooking are great at what they do but they dont treat the ticket orders as how restaurants do. We notice that maybe due to the small kitchen, they fire up one dish at a time. So we noticed all of the fish steak dish coming out for the entire dining room, then comes next the shrimp dish etc. Then the steak…so the food for our table didnt come out all at the same time and we all didnt eat at the same time. But thats okay, we decided to share it as family style instead so we can all eat and have something. Next time, we know what to expect. The best thing about this place is that you have that table for the entire night! No one is rushing you to leave! Quite a concept for american diners isn’t it? We’ll be back!

Millie Moo’s – Menu with Prices – 4085 L B McLeod Rd, Orlando

In my opinion, this is the absolute best indoor playground in town. I have taken my three kids (1, 3 and 9) here many times now. *Side note that the nine year old comes along more to provide help than to play, as most of the place is suited for the smaller kids. The staff is always welcoming and friendly and eager to help. The place itself is one large room, so you are able to see your kids from almost anywhere you are standing. This is helpful when you have two kids, but want to allow one to play on their own. There is a tot area for the real little ones that is corralled off for safety from the bigger minions. There is also a cute little cafe with plenty of seating up front. The staff can make a pretty good coffee drink (real, not the instant crap), good, healthy food and other drinks and snacks. Inside, the kids have a large variety of toys to play with, including ride on cars (yes, they actually work unlike other places!), a ride on train, bounce house, kitchen, houses, LARGE train table, roller coaster and much more. My kids are always angry when I try to pry them out after a couple of hours of playing. The owners are good at rotating different toys in and out, so there always seems to be something new each time we come and visit. The couple of times I have had trouble with asshole kids, they have been quick to come to action to make sure the parents are actually paying attention to their children. If you are looking for a nice place to bring your kids on a rainy or hot day, do not hesitate to stop here. They also offer monthly access, which can include birthday parties as a bonus.

Mexican Villa East – Menu with Prices – 1337 E Sunshine St, Springfield

I just finished eating there, and the food was good. The service I received however was not what I expected. I had lunch alone in a booth and there were three surrounding tables. All those tables got checked on 5-6 times, the waiter made sure to have conversation/contact with them, and was super friendly…..I however did not get one ounce of that type of service. I was checked on once when I was pretty much finished with my food and asked if I wanted more water. I politely declined and she brought me my bill. Thatâ??s it. I felt so unwelcome there that it really got to me. I also politely asked for a manager and told her how I was treated compared to every table around me. She was nice about it and apologized and said she wanted anyone and everyone to feel welcome there, however, that was not the case for me. The manager said she would speak with her about it. I hope they treat people like me better. I was going to give it one star but because the manager was nice and the food wasnâ??t terrible I gave it two stars. I hope everyone else has a better experience than I did.

Tacos Garcia – Menu with Prices – 918 N Glassell St, Orange

I tried their carnitas burrito but didn’t like it. I guess, I’ve gotten used to other tastes. But I still go back for their carnitas tacos. No one else makes carnitas tacos the way they do (it’s a good thing – in my opinion). // Also, I noticed someone said workers weren’t friendly – I’ve never experienced that. They’re some of the nicest people working restaurants. Actually, the good service is one of the reasons I keep going back. I’ve been helped by the owner, his son, the cook, and three different young ladies. These are nice, hardworking, people. I suspect they may be religious because they’re nicer than in most places – they stand out in that sense. Most of the times I’ve been there, there have been a couple of teen girls working the counter/taking the orders and serving the food and unlike teen workers in other places – these two young ladies have zero attitude. Nothing but good service here. I hope they grow and move to a location with more parking spots.

The Sweetest Batch Cupcakery – Menu with Prices – 2237 Lowes Dr Suite E, Clarksville

Dense and the varying frostings are so similar they are barely different. The cupcakes and heavy, literally, not fluffy and moist but wet on the inside as if they arent cooked all the way through. Also, when i went they still had more than 3 hours until closing time and only had 3 different types and less than 7 available. So that tells me they dont bake these freshly throughout the day, just make a giant dense batch in the morning and hope to sell out instead of having multiple fresh options available throughout the day.

Ubora Coffee Roasters Menu with Prices 1128 Jones St, Augusta

I’ve been here now 5 times and the only good experience and well made “Cortado” was the frist time and if it would have stayed like that, then this review would be 4 stars because their coffee itself is good but nothing to rave about. I always order a cortado. My frist experience was good, good service, friendly, place was warm and inviting, and I felt like this is going to be a great place. Second time I went they put my drink in a to go cup when I clearly said I will sit right there at the end of the bar and it tasted like water down drink, not fluffy foamy. Third time I went I got this vibe like I was not welcome there. I asked about wifi and i got chuckled at and they pointed to the sign but I was asking why the wifi doesn’t allow you to visit some sites or if they had a fire wall. Plus the cortado was mediocre again. Fourth time I went, I stop in after my run. I had high hope for this visit because it showed life with people and someone playing live music but I was sadly mistaken. This laid way to busy workers who seem like they didn’t want to be there and quality of my drink was just mehhh agian. Fifth and most likely my last time going there was a Saturday morning, me and my partner of cool places planned a stop here after our morning run because it was very convenient to our run plan that day. We thought hey this I will be a great stop for water and a coffee drink. My cortado has never been the same as the first time so I’ve realize that this is their norm now but my partner drank taste like it was burnt and they gave her the ugly looks when she made her order. She ordered 3 shots of Expresso with a splash of almond milk iced, they were like you want what? I say it’s my last time but I really do hope they stay open for a long time to come and get better. If I see them open still 5 months from now I’ll give it another try because I really did try to support local places and will give it another “Expresso shot” later. I say they need to train their staff on more than just the basic, customer service and delivery goes a long way when it comes to places like this. Make it clear that you order here and pick up here, or clear that it will be brought out to you etc. Help key in on drink making and every drink on the menu deserves to be made like it’s a special or something. Parking – 2 stars (it’s more of a if you’re downtown walk to spot) Coffee – 4 stars Skilled staff – 2 stars Service – 2 stars Consistencies – 2 stars Atmosphere – 3 stars Friendly – 2 stars Location – 3 stars

Rustik Rotisserie – Menu with Prices – 730 Lakeshore Rd E, Mississauga

What a find. This little place serves Montreal style chicken. However they have quite a few menu items from sandwiches to burgers and poutine. I found this place from an ad on Facebook and made a mental note i should pop in. However i just couldn’t seem to get it out of my head that i wanted to try this place and try i did. The chicken was cooked perfectly, same goes for the fries. The gravy or sauce was good. the coleslaw was tangy, and the roll was fresh. But to top it off they give you a small container of garlic butter for the roll. Well now, that pushes this meal over the edge to a 5 star because of the garlic butter surprise. The place is clean, and new and comfortable. I was greeted by a very friendly young lady. The service was fast and efficient.. I have a feeling I’m going to end up being a regular here. Its just at Lakeshore east and Cawthra so its fairly local to where i live. So many times i have tried new places that are still trying to figure out how to run the place. Not here, these guys did everything right. I hope next time i can actually stay there instead of getting it to go. It looks like a nice place to sit with a few people and enjoy the day. 5 stars for this comfort food that i have missed so much. Very satisfied. Mon poulet est C’est bon. Merci. J’adore Rustik Rotisserie

Panda Express – Menu with Prices – 4433 W Saginaw Hwy, Lansing

I give this place 3 stars because they have a drive thru and they are pretty fast with the food normally however there has been times when there completely out of egg rolls or something else that is in high demand plus there portions when you order a plate is very small at timeS they pretty much give you one scoop and try to make it look like two. The people that work drive thru are sometimes rude and seem like they just wanna get you to leave. Also forget stuff in the bag and make u have to run inside even tho u have gone thru the drive thru for a reason. There orange chicken is all I ever get there and sometimes it’s awesome enough sauce and small pieces of chicken other times I’m fighting to cut the chicken up to even fit it in my mouth it’s ridiculous. Really need to focus more on making sure the chicken isn’t the size of a corn dog before serving it to customers, all around it’s a nice please other then some slight changes that need to be made. As for being good for kids my kids used to love this place till one of my kids couldn’t eat the chicken due to not being able to fit it in his mouth

LAS ISLAS EN PONCHOS – Menu with Prices – 4250 E 4th Plain Blvd, Vancouver

Been here a couple times. But today January 8, 2018 was the worst experience. In fact I did not even get that far. I was sat down by a waitress which I could barely here over the loud gangster rap music. I come here because it’s seafood Mexican food. I would assume there would be some sort of Mexican music playing in the background. Yes it was inappropriate loud and yes there was plenty of cussing in the song. Needless to say I would not bring my family here with my kids with that type of music playing it just kills the whole vibe you’re supposed to get from a place like this. Needless to say I probably won’t be back for a while if at all. If there was somebody in charge or a manager I suggest the look over there playlist first.
