So I came in last night to buy donuts for my summer school students and when the employee found out they were for the next day he refused to sell me the donuts! I could have easily gone somewhere else but perfection was so important to him that he was willing to take that chance. He told me to come back the next morning and that I wouldn’t be disappointed with his fresh donuts. I respect the man for that, especially when the next day (today) was Krispy Kreme’s anniversary and they had a promotion and I live right by there! I love honest customer service and the donuts were pretty soft.

Lil D’s Mini Donuts – Menu with Prices – 601 16th St Mall, Denver

Dannnggg! If these are how donuts are supposed to taste then I have truly been missing out! I mean, yes, there is Voodoo Doughnuts and other good sweet-tooth places, but they are not made fresh to order like Lil D’s Mini Donuts is! Lil’ D offers small donuts. Let’s be honest, smaller means you can have a lot more, right? I am so happy this small stall was located right by my hotel. Lil D’ is located in a reasonable location on 16th Street. They make delicious, warm, fresh made donuts and you can jazz them up however you please. They have tons of topping options such as Caramel, Cinnamon, Cream Cheese, Vanilla, and many more. My favorites were the Caramel and the Vanilla; oh so delicious! They also have donuts in the cup, which seemed like too many sweets for me, but it’s great if you plan to share. My favorite part of the experience is that they make the donuts freshly made in front of you. YES! I get my donuts nice and warm and don’t have to worry about how long they were sitting out. Although Lil D’s is known for their mini donuts, they also serve other items at their stands such as the Pizza Empanada and beverages. I didn’t get a chance to try any of those, but everything here looks great! If you have a major sweet tooth, this is definitely a place I would venture out and try; skip Krispy Kreme and just come here. Lil D’s is such a wonderful addition to 16th Street. PLUS, customer service is phenomenal. Do yourself the favor and check out this stand!

Donut Palace – Menu with Prices – 2810 Schaad Rd, Knoxville

This area of Knoxville has been in need of a quick breakfast spot, especially one that opens up before 6 A.M. every day. For the price and quality, The Donut Palace is going to do well. The donuts are made fresh every day/morning. Please keep in mind this isn’t a Krispy-Kreme, there is no “hot light”. So the donuts you eat may be at room temperature, but that’s why the microwave was invented. And guess what, they have one in the store. These donuts are also much larger(and cheaper)in comparison to DD or KK. I purchased some donuts and a breakfast croissant sandwich, along with some coffee. They automatically heat up all the sandwiches and Kolaches, so if you don’t want anything warmed up, let them know. For 5 dollars, you aren’t going to find a better value breakfast. I think this will be my go-to donut dive from now on. I will end with a comment on the customer service. The employees there are extremely friendly and even prepare your coffee with any sugar, creamer, or flavoring you want. They are incredibly efficient at taking orders. They have multiple people working the counter. Do not be worried if there is a line, they will get to you shortly. Job well done to them, and I hope this place has many years of patronage.

Roll on over donuts – Menu with Prices – 8645 Haven Ave ste 400, Rancho Cucamonga

Best donuts ever. Let’s get this out of the way now. We walked in and the place appeared to be just a regular ‘ol donut shop with only six baking sheets of donuts available and none of them were the curious custom versions you see on this page. We mentioned that we saw the Yelp page and they said they didn’t have any of the custom ones. So we picked the plain cake donut and maple bar and paid. The guy behind the corner asked us if we wanted to try the S’mores donut and that he would make us one to try. Well he made us two — on the house. I’ve been to a lot of cake shops in my life. Some are brands and chains you know like Krispy Kreme and Dunkin’ Donuts. Then there are the other famous SoCal Yelp ones like DK Donuts in Santa Monica and Donut Man in Glendora and everything in between these two landmarks. This shop rises above them all. Fresh and pillow soft just where you want and expect it. No grease, oil or heavy tasting/feeling ingredients. If you want something special — call ahead and ask for it or you will be disappointed. This is not a high-volume shop for “walk-ins” but really catering more to the surrounding businesses…so be prepared and call.

Mrs Yoder’s Kitchen – Menu with Prices – S0002314001, Richmond

Melty, warm, and as fresh as it gets – these donuts are eye-rollingly good. I tried them at the South of the James farmer’s market. Usually the line is super long as they are very popular. The good thing about a line is that everything is made fresh; they are practically coming out of the fryer right into your mouth! You get to see your donut being taken out of the fryer and dipped in glaze as you are waiting in line, which only adds to the anticipation. The donuts are large and unevenly lumpy which really gives a homemade feel. The dough is soft and melty – similar to that of Krispy Kreme, except that the crust is crispier so you have both a light crunch on the outside and a soft, doughy inside. The glaze is probably the most unique. It’s very mild, but almost has a subtle maple flavor that pulls everything together so well. They are amazing when freshly made, but I found that they get even better in another way after several hours. The glaze hardens and the donut turns even chewier, which I love. This way, I feel like I am able to eat more of them at a time. Whatever you do, prepare yourself for a sugar coma!

Krispy Donuts – Menu with Prices – 3403 Louetta Rd Ste E, Spring

Hooray! I get to be the first person to leave a review on this establishment. I happened to stumble upon this place while driving home. The owners of the donut shop are the sweetest human beings I’ve ever met. They were so happy and welcoming. I ordered a glazed donut, a chocolate glazed donut, and a sausage/egg/cheese croissant. They even warm up your croissant for you if you want. This has to be a new donut shop because I don’t see how there aren’t any reviews already made. The donuts were like a hybrid of Krispy Crème and Shipley’s donuts in my opinion. I took a bite into one of the donuts and the interior was as soft as a cloud. The one thing I truly appreciated from their donuts was that it was not overly sweet like most of the big chain donut shops. I highly recommend those who are close to give this mom and pop shop a try. I love and a huge supporter of mom and pop shops.

Steveâ??s Donuts – Menu with Prices – 7201 Arlington Ave suite c, Riverside

Donuts on steroids! Came here on a Friday morning around 7:30 am, I was the only person at first but then a line started to form behind me. I was curious to go here because of the great reviews. I must say, this place does live up to the other 5 star reviews and I hope it remains that way. I got a dozen custom for my awesome coworkers and just got one of the cool, unique looking donuts (doubled on the red velvet since I got one for myself.) These custom looking donuts look like they’re on steroids since it seems bigger than regular donuts (maybe it’s the toppings which adds height?) The actual donut was so soft and fluffy, I kind of just wanted that with no icing! But the donut itself tasted fresh and the icing part (with dried up red velvet cake bits) was pretty sweet but that’s donuts for ya! :] The owner was refreshingly friendly and welcoming. He helped me out a lot with my selection & pricing. My custom dozen selection came out to $13 w/ a .50 cent charge for card use. So cash would be ideal here. I’ll be back if I ever have my donuts craving again.

S & S Donut & Bake Shop & Deli – Menu with Prices – 19425 Soledad Canyon Rd # A, Canyon Country

This place is my go to place whenever I am in the area! These donuts are delicious and I can’t stop stuffing my face with them. (So much better than Dunkin donuts and Krispy Kreme)The scones- OH THE SCONES! They are TO DIE FOR. They are just too delicious!! The blueberry is my absolute favorite flavor, and the cranberry and chocolate chip is great as well! The customer service- feels like I am just at home. The people here are sweet and patient. I feel great supporting a MA and PA shop. There is a huge selection of baked goodies and donuts I take forever to decide, so I have to thank them on their part for their patience!

Jannys Donuts – Menu with Prices – 92 Corporate Park, Irvine

Came into Jannys on a Wednesday evening before closing and was surprisingly impressed! I was greeted with a smile and great customer service. I initially asked how fresh the donuts were (because I have bought several stale bad tasting donuts before on different occasions at different donut shops) I was told Jannys Donuts are always fresh. That being said I ordered 1chocolate bar & 1maple bar. Paid and left to my car. As soon as I got into my car I took a bite of the maple bar just being curious how fresh these donuts were. I was not only excited how fresh they tasted and literally scarfed both donuts down. Going back inside to order 2 more donuts to go ? I will definitely be returning and recommending Jannys Donuts!

The Donut House Menu with Prices 25791 E Smoky Hill Rd #20, Aurora

I don’t base reviews off mood. I truly review based on experience and personal opinion. And I honestly feel so bad when I have to rate a business as a one star. I am a donut fanatic. Literally have at minimum, two donuts a week ? we found this shop while we were visiting another business in the same shopping center. It was a complete disappointment. I would have enjoyed a donut from King Sooper or even a gas station better. The lady in the store was very friendly. Shop is easily accessible from the street and has plenty of parking. I understand not having a large selection at noon, but our visit was in the morning. It was a weekend, but honestly, weekends are great donut days so shouldn’t they make more those mornings? They had ZERO glazed. I would guess that glazed is probably a number one seller and should not run out before noon.? We settled on maple, vanilla, and chocolate (all frosted) because they didn’t have anything else. The donuts were so dry and tasted like cardboard. My teenage son didn’t even eat his. 6 hard, dry, gross donuts cost as much as 12 fresh, soft, warm, moist, yummy donuts from Krispy Kreme. We do our best to support small and local businesses, but unfortunately, we will never visit this spot again. I said never. Waste of calories on this one.

Harold’s Doughnuts – Menu with Prices – 114 S 9th St, Columbia

Donuts were fresh. It is a very popular store. We went at 9am and there were only 5 kinds of donuts left. So if you want good selection, you need to get there first thing in the morning. You pay for either traditional or craft style donuts. They show the price for a dozen but they do sell half dozen as well. They have coffee for sale as well. Parking is street parking only. The parking is meter parking from 9 am-7pm, M-S. You can use the park mobile app for the stalls in front of the store. The price is higher than other stores for donuts. Quality and freshness is much better. They seem to stay fresh longer than other donuts. I wish they kept better stock of the donuts through the morning. I’ve experienced in the past If they run out of donuts they will close early rather than make more. There is a small sitting area in the back with tables, but most buy donuts and leave. So get there early for free parking and better selection!

Donuts & Coffee – Menu with Prices – 4709 Florin Rd #3C, Sacramento

I’ve come to this donut shop about 5 times this year. The service is superb. I know when I am walking in, I am greeted right away with a smile by the owner. Every single time I’ve come here, I know that the donuts provided are very fresh. The cream puffs are the best thing I like the most here, it is very soft, light, but at the same time sweet. I always get the cream puffs if they have it since it is a very popular item, or normally I’d call in advance just to preorder it. Today I ordered 2 Ice coffee drinks, I wasn’t sure how I’d feel about ordering coffee since I never ordered coffee, but the owner helped me and it was a very delicious choice. I was very vague on what exactly I wanted besides sweet and iced, other than that she knew exactly what I’d want in my drink and it was amazingly perfect. Arguably to say, this is the best donut shop I’ve been in Sacramento that has really good service with a clean environment and soft and fresh donuts. In all due respect I would give it more than 5 stars if it was possible.

New Star Donuts – Menu with Prices – 3110 W Bert Kouns Industrial Loop, Shreveport

Today we had Donuts with Dad at SPLC and donuts were provided by the BEST DONUT SHOP IN SHREVEPORT on Bert Kouns Industrial loop (ALL STAR DONUTS). They were fresh and delicious. I ordered 32dz. Donut Holes and 32dz. Variety Donuts, I picked up my order at 7:30am that morning and my order was hot and ready for me when I got there. The staff is always nice and friendly. Just wanted to extent a big Thank You to All Star Donuts for making our Donuts with Dad a success. AWESOME BUSINESS!!!! WE LOVE YOU GUYS!!!
