They had a fresh sushi sign hanging so I went in to order a Beginner’s Combo. But then the guy said they dont make sushi anymore so whatever is on display are available. I wanted a fresh sushi today. Not a cold, fresh from the fridge one. And cashier guy is on his phone IN FRONT while waiting for customers

Colala Express – Menu with Prices – 2010 W Saginaw St, Lansing

Fairly good for the amount you pay for. It’s your basic run of the mill Chinese food place. The food is cooked to order -never had anything undercooked Which is good- and there isn’t much of a wait time even if there’s a line (usually 10-15minutes, 15-25 if the place gets packed I noticed). Though heads up, if you order on the phone, it would save the world some trouble if you knew what you wanted to order. The cashier is nice, but not the best of english to understand on the phone (no offense), so trying to get a bunch of questions on the phone answered won’t go as smooth. I never had this problem since I knew what I wanted and just ordered. But sometimes when I wait for my order I notice some people hang up on the phone when she tries to answer their questions, most likely were too confused to continue. Also there’s only like one person in front and 1 or 2 in back so some patience is needed. She does a lot up front while taking calls and expediting so you really shouldn’t mind if there’s a wait to start your order.

Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen – Menu with Prices – 2655 Richmond Ave, Staten Island

The food was just okay aside from everything being a bit soggy. But ordering was the most frustrating process. First when I walked up I saw on the TV menus that the chicken sandwhich has a “be back soon” sign over the picture making me think they were out of chicken sandwiches but I noticed a woman in the back making chicken sandwiches so I stayed. The TV also advertises strawberry fanta which they do not have. There were about 6 people in line when I arrived and the manager was more interested in her phone and socializing with her coworkers (her family?) than taking orders. Finally after 15 minutes I got to the counter. I had to state my order 3 times because she would ask me a question and then immediately turn to continue her conversation with the coworker. She ended up charging me for 2 extra biscuits because she asked me 3 different times. While waiting for my food I noticed4 out of the 6 workers hanging around with nothing to do as the line grew and more people were waiting for food. It was just very frustrating. Visit another popeyes if you can. Dont go here.

Brewster’s 2 Cafe – Menu with Prices – 2725 S Arch St, Little Rock

Friday there was VERY unprofessional remarks toward customers trying to do business with them. I was spoken to as if I were a child and Mr. Woods was overheard on the phone telling a customer trying to place an order, ” you hurry and place your order or I will hang up. You should know what you want, we are busy.” In front of other customers sitting there waiting on their order. He was VERY snappy and rude. I spent $11.00 + tax on a catfish dinner that wasn’t cooked fresh as I was on my way to work and had no time to get my money back.

Red Lobster – Menu with Prices – 1870 W Craig Rd, North Las Vegas

Absolute shoddy employees. I placed a phone order at 5.43pm, was told it would take 20-25 minutes to pickup. So I show up at 6:20pm and wait at the front of the To-Go counter. I was ignored for 5 minutes while 2 female employees behind the counter were trying to get someone else’s To-Go order right. They had some type of heating plate to keep orders warm as customers pick up, but they left so much food just sitting on the counter, that only 1 order was kept warm while the other 2 were left sitting cold! After standing there 15 minutes till 6:35pm, I was serviced and then told that my order “was placed, but then it was cancelled. We will start cooking it right away for you, as soon as the order is in.” I said, that’s unacceptable, I should have gotten a call or something, as you guys took my phone number when I placed the order, I can’t wait 30 minutes now with my hungry kids waiting in the car. She apologized and tried to offer my kids some juice or lemonade. Tried to take my order again but kept over-charging everything when I showed her the exact menu item and pointed at it. Fire grilled lobster /shrimp skewer/ salmon combo which was around $30. Then was told that they’re out of salmon! I asked her to substitute something for salmon in the combo that would come out around the same price, and she added rock lobster which raised my total by almost $40 more. THAT is not substituting. I told her she could have offered an extra shrimp skewer to replace the salmon that I would have paid for anyway. I’m a customer that’s already frustrated as it is, and you’re trying to UPSELL me at the last minute!!! It’s our first time going to Red Lobster, and also our LAST time. This transaction has ruined the experience for our family.

Valentino’s – Menu with Prices – 4451 N 26th St, Lincoln

Dont think I’ll ever order at this location again. Was told 45 minutes ordered at 7:58PM and called at 9:14PM to check on order guy told me any second it should show up at any second. Got the pizza at 9:40PM. Asked the delivery guy what took so long and he said there was 4 other deliveries. Okay I get that he had 4 other pizzas to deliver but no one can pick up a phone and tell us they are going to be late. On top of that pizza was cold. Called and talked to manager and he gave me 25% off and wouldn’t own up to mistakes that were made. Also never did get a sincere apology or I hope you will still order with us. I normally dont write reviews but just so people know their food might be late and cold.

Hanara Sushi and Grill Menu with Prices 10000 Research Blvd #139, Austin

Hanara is a bit of a hit or miss for me. The Christian rock playing upstairs makes for an interesting ambiance, and the sushi tends to take a long time to make. I’ve gotten the sushi combo c a few times, and the freshness of the sushi really varies. I had a delicious piece of salmon once on a weekday, but on a subsequent weekend, my tuna had a slight grey tinge to it. Most recently, the cashier got in a loud argument with another customer. I’m not quite sure what happened, but it went on for a solid 10 minutes. My partner and I were extremely uncomfortable. It’s a small space, so sound really carries, and it felt like we were in the middle of the argument. The majority of what we could gather made us feel like the argument was being prolonged by the cashier. Sushi options in Austin are limited, but I likely won’t be back to Hanara after my last experience.

Ganda Sushi Express – Menu with Prices – 8008 Surrey Pl, Jamaica

Was in the neighborhood visiting a friend. She wanted sushi for lunch so we tried this local spot. On a Saturday at 1pm, this place was totally empty. Hey that’s not a good sign. But let’s just ignore that. Maybe it’s just a slow day. We take a seat and this old guy who looks like the chef, shuffles over and drops 2 menus on the table and walks away without a word. He had such a mean look on his face. Does he NOT want us to be here? But. let’s just ignore that. Everyone has a bad day now and then. We give him our order. Wow. My friend is ordering a big platter of sashimi. Just all raw fish. Nothing else for lunch. Me, I play it on the safe side and order a california roll and a salmon cucumber roll. Our food arrives. Hmmm… my sushi rolls are a bit messy looking. Does the chef even care about the food he’s serving? But, let’s just ignore that. Maybe I’m just thinking too much. We can’t make sushi rolls neat all the time… (Even though we are the only customers in here right now). So I look over at my friend’s dish. Yeah, that sashimi is plated okay looking. I didn’t think the sushi was all that fresh. I’ve had better sushi elsewhere.

Chick-fil-A – Menu with Prices – 106 W Campbell Rd, Richardson

Time of visit 8am This isn’t the same experience as every other Chic-Fil-A. It’s a watered down version to its own demise. The food is spot on but takes longer the less people in the restaurant I guess. As I waited in line, the customer in front of me thought he was missing a drink. Instead of trying to find a solution, the cashier mutters something to the other cashier and tells the customer “no, you didn’t.” And just stares at him until he has to ask how much it is. The Chick-fil-A I’ve always known is helpful and courteous to a fault. Personally, I just want to be left alone. Haha I dined-in watching that same cashier call out names from the other end of the kitchen, while to go order people are clearly waiting under the “pick up” sign. Then the cashier couldnt even hand it to to go order customers, she drops them on the counter like feeding the dogs. The same cashier puts my drink cup in the marker. Like I want a spill and that’s what it’s made for.. If to go orders aren’t being auctioned off, you can hear the kitchen playfully cursing and joking around. Meanwhile the floors aren’t being swept or table tops cleaned. The manager did come by, But I already saw what they’re made of by watching operations. That and the thought that the manager is restocking condiments while the rest of the staff clearly needs managed doesn’t tell me they’ll get things done. The one person that really finished my visit off was in a black Chick-fil-A shirt with a hair net. He asked if he could take my tray as he happened to be right in front of the trash can- professional and courteous. That’s the Chick-fil-A I know. On another note, I saw an accident happen because of the parking lot when i got there and when I left. There has to be a better way especially by the dumpster. Somebody was almost t-boned.

Opah Greek Grill – Menu with Prices – 133 James Luscinski Dr, Murfreesboro

Worst experience I have ever had in my life!!! I was in charge of ordering an office lunch for 7 people. When I called Opah to ask a few questions about their menu and to place the order for pick up, I was hung up on twice. I continued to call with no success of having anyone answer the phone then the line was busy. I then decided to just handle it all at the restaurant. When I was giving my order to the cashier, he was not patient or friendly. Payment had to be collected before the food was made so I paid and decided to include a tip. After giving my receipt to the cashier, he told me that the tip doesn’t go to the employees; it goes to his manager… okay. Sorry for tipping? Won’t happen again. When it came time for them to ask me what I wanted with each entree, I told them that each entree needed to come how it was described on their online menu (ex: if it says it comes with grilled veggies, then that person would like the grilled veggies). They had no recollection or grasp of the menu that was listed online, which was extremely frustrating. So then I had to pull up the descriptions of each entree on my phone and list out what each entree should have. There were two employees helping with cooking the orders. Instead of completing one at a time, both men yelled at me asking, “What next? What next? What next?” I eventually had to tell one guy that he needed to hold on while I was speaking to the other employee assembling the entree that was done before his. I have never been that disrespected before, and I became beyond irritated at this point. When it came to picking the salads for the entrees, one employee would pour the dressing all over the entree instead of just on the salad. When I spoke up about that, instead of fixing it they just moved on to the next entree. That same employee (who I discovered was the one that kept hanging up the phone on me only because he continued to do that to other customers who were calling the restaurant) also decided to melt the cheese on the salad when the cheese should’ve been melted on the Philly Steak. It was one thing after another, and I just wanted to get out of there. I have never been so frustrated, irritated and disrespected in my life!! I was so exhausted when I got back into the office with the lunch orders that I started tearing up when people asked me how it went trying to order lunch at Opah. If someone would’ve taken my order over the phone, this probably would’ve been a better outcome.

Hide A While Lounge – Menu with Prices – 9469 Foothill Blvd, Rancho Cucamonga

What i need to say about this Bar is that at a random decision was made last night to ask me and my friends to leave . so the weekend before we where hanging out with no problem. So the reason why we where asked to leave is because we are bikers that are in the upper age of 50 and we where told up we couldn’t be in there because we had a vest on . and too top that off i dont drink alcohol and one other member is sober also . we stick too ourselves my friends where there long before i got there and they yes they do drink . they spent there money and they where having a good time .and just so you know . bikers dont look for trubble . 9 times out of 10 its a regular civilian that causes trouble we avoid it . this is a clear sign of discrimination based on how you look . if I walked in there with plain clothes would that change who i am i am a biker and i love my life this is discrimination at its best this is not a kool bar dont get kicked out because your wearing the wrong team color

Shu Sushi Ramen & Grill – Menu with Prices – 4929 W Chandler Blvd #3, Chandler

The owner of this restaurant used to own Sushi Ken in Ahwatukee after she bought it from the original owners. It was great back then. After selling Sushi Ken just over a year ago, she opened this place, Shu Sushi Grill and it’s clear she brought with her the love and passion for her food and her customers. Her husband is the sushi chef and their adorable little girls can regularly be found in the restaurant hanging with mom and dad. The sushi is incredibly fresh, the owner is part of a special group that has access to the best fish as soon as it’s available and it shows, so fresh and delicious. I love that she mixes some Korean options and specialties along with the Japanese cuisine options – it’s almost fusion-ish and a great mix up from solely traditional Japanese options. She maintains some five dollar sushi roll specials every day and they are great. The menu is robust and offers options for everyone. The Ramen soup is phenomenal, the atmosphere is comfortable and relaxed and clean. The service was excellent! I definitely recommend trying this restaurant, it could well become one of your regular favorites.

Haifa Falafel Menu with Prices 4585 Washtenaw Ave #2, Ann Arbor

I usually have a great time there and the food is Phenomenal. Yesterday was different I call they didn’t answer the phone. I call two more times finally someone answer. That’s ok they get busy… then I get there trying to pay for my food they were having technical issues with the cash register. I get stuff happens still waiting after the people in front of me place there orders he goes to the back to start the food. He isn’t by himself another guy is sweeping. Then two more customers come in I’m still at the desk waiting to pay. He takes their orders like I wasn’t there. Wow. My wife tells me to sit down and wait for the food pay afterwards. Then another guy comes in he goes back in finished our food. So i still needed some drinks that I ordered and my 12 falafel. That’s when the older guy tells me I can go like sit down an eat. This infuriates me because I have been patient. Also after eating instill had to pay for my food and waited 10 more minutes. In short I guess dont go there between 230 and 330 must be a shift change or something
