I am a regular guest here as I travel to the Fresno area quite often for business. I want to alert all other guests that this hotel condones prostitution and human trafficking. I reported an incident to the front desk which was very detailed with the guests room number. They laughed at me and told me it’s none of my business what people do in the room even if it’s a crime and potential abuse is involved. I don’t know about you but this hotel is barely clean enough and I don’t feel comfortable knowing that prostitutes are welcome here and that as a woman who wants to stay in a safe place, the law and protection of women is such a low priority. I will take this up with corporate. I filed a report with Fresno police who did not agree with the hotels attitude towards prostitution/possible trafficking,

Richmond Hotel and Tavern – Menu with Prices – 172 King St, London

I WARN YOU DO NOT GO ANYWHERE NEAR THIS ESTABLISHMENT!! At some point me and a friend needed a hotel to stay at so we decided to stay at the tavern. I wasnt sure who to talk to for a room so i asked the gentleman down stairs. He took our money for one weeks stay and gave each of us a room key. During the night i had to go to the washroom. It was small, dark a dismall, to my horror when looking into the waste basket nearest the toilet … USED SYRINGES IN PLAIN SIGHT! I ran from there to my room again… the nights sleep was ok aside from the music pounding my body… The next morning we woke up to some old man creep pounding at our door. Turns out this was the REAL hotel manager. He basically told us to get our shit and get out. We quickly gathered together our things but not before we went downstairs to confront the original man who turned out to be the bartender. He refused to give me back any of the money claiming that i was being stupid. We ran up to our now unlocked hotel room. My friend couldnt find her cell phone. I told her to look under the pillows and sure enough there it was. She knew she left it on the desk and i saw it there too. Once we retrieved the phone and hotel management caught eye of this he started getting more verbally violent. Shooing us out with swear words calling us name’s as we packed in a hurry When we finally escaped the establishment we ran and couldnt have run fast enough!!! I warn you! Dont drink here. Dont stay here and dont support this place The one night i tried was like a scene out of some horror movie!!keep safe!!!

Curtiss Hotel – Menu with Prices – 210 Franklin St, Buffalo

Very pretty hotel but…checked in very late on Friday night and the hotel was party city with large groups of people all over. Got to my room on the second floor, crawled into bed exhausted only to find loud party goers in the hall till nearly 5 am. I could also hear every conversation through the walls from my neighbors, loud music from other rooms and babies crying. Am I in Motel 6?? On my last night someone ran up and down the halls at midnight screaming and crying. What the heck. I just want to ad that although my room was “pretty” there was not a comfortable chair in the room. There was a hard chair at the desk in front of the tv, a hard stool in front of the vanity in the bathroom and other than the bed there was not a soft comfortable chair in the room. So if you wish to read it’s the bed or nothing. It would be better to have a comfortable reading chair and ottoman in a corner of the room in which to read or relax. So for me, as I said, it’s a pretty hotel but it needs a lot of upgrades for the ratings it has. Because of the expense to stay here my traveling companions chose to stay in another hotel a block away. Honestly, their room was very user friendly and comfortable. But you make your own choice and gather your own opinions. I just know I will never stay here again.

The Lobbyist bar – Menu with Prices – 1475 California St, Denver

What a fun, safe, clean and friendly place to stay in Denver. All of the employees went out of the way to make sure we were taken care of and had everything we needed. The common areas and rooms were bright, fun and clean. With the bar on the rooftop, security was tight but very friendly. They did a good job of ensuring that only hotel guests made it to the guest room floors. It is within easy walking distance of plenty of restaurants, shopping and entertainment venues. We would definitely stay here again. Nice place, good restaurant in the lobby, certainly would recommend it to friends and family.

DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Chattanooga Downtown – Menu with Prices – 407 Chestnut St, Chattanooga

This is probably the worst hotel experience I’ve ever had. If I could rate zero stars I would. Do NOT stay here. It is a waste of money. Let me start off with the construction. They are currently renovating the outside of the hotel. My girlfriend and I did not get any sleep because the painter’s lift that hangs from the roof was not secured down overnight and was banging up against the wall all night long. I’m talking about LOUD slams into the wall over and over again. One of the elevators was down in the hotel and the hotel was full.. so you can just imagine what a nightmare it was trying to get up and down to your floor. The elevator was always full, so guests and employees had to use the stairs. My room was right next to the stairway, so we had that sound all night long as well. We could hear people talking in the stairway, the door to the stairway slamming, and people walking up and down the stairs. The rooms are TINY!!! I’ve stayed in a bigger room at a motel 6. They advertise the rooms with pictures of a nice big jacuzzi tub. One of the reasons I booked this hotel. Guess what? Hardly any of the rooms have this tub. We did not get a tub. False advertising. The walls are paper thin. You can hear everything in the rooms next to you. They do not have enough room for parking at this hotel. We had to park in a overflow lot across the street that was not gated or watched by security. Why did I pay $11 dollars to park when it wasn’t even on the hotel property and my car was not protected? This hotel is a absolute JOKE! I’ll never stay here again and I’ll tell as many people as I can to not stay here.

Hyatt Place Roanoke Airport/Valley View Mall – Menu with Prices – 5040 Valley View Blvd NW N, Roanoke

I do my best not to complain about much. Just go with the flow. Last night hit the limit for me. I got off work and went to the hotel. I was checked into room 409. As I was getting ready for bed I saw something on the bed I was thinking about getting into. I looked closely and it was a bed bug. I called the front desk to inform them I refused to stay in the hotel. Only because this isn’t the first time I had a problem there. The shower curtains has mold on them and the towels are dirty. Back to the matter at hand. I got downstairs to the desk. The woman name is Sharon, I believe. I showed her the video of the bug running across the bed. She says o I’m sorry I can put you in another room. I said thank you, I don’t feel comfortable staying here tonight. I asked if it was possible for me to be taken back to the train. She said she was unable to because her coworker wasn’t there. I asked about a cab and she said o yea there’s a cab. I never got the number to call. I sat in the corner and called my job, explained everything to them then called my manager. Their manager came and asked if I wanted to stay at a hotel across the way. I said no thank you. She offered a cab. I asked if there was a way someone from the hotel would be able to take me. She told me the other woman (Miki) had gone home. It wasn’t true she had just checked me in. Then she says o she’s still here she must be going home soon. I’ll have a cab called for you. I said thank you and left it alone. Half an hour went by and Miki was still there. I went to ask Sharon instead of me waiting until 12:45 am and my report time for work is at 4:45am can one of them please take me to the train. She says we don’t want to take you to the train that’s why we’re not taking you. That’s why you’re waiting for a cab. We don’t feel like taking you and we told the manager that. I said o…o really. I sat back down and waited. Next thing I know they’re mad because they think I call the job. Which I didn’t see a need to do. Sharon told Miki the cab was there and it was clear I was not wanted there at all. I let Sharon know I didn’t call anyone asking to call the hotel on my be half.

Hilton Garden Inn Colorado Springs Airport – Menu with Prices – 2035 Aerotech Dr, Colorado Springs

*Update to review* I had a very productive conversation with one of the mangers who has purview over customer relations. She addressed my concerns, as voiced below, and very politely apologized for the experience. Additionally, without making an excuse, she explained some of the circumstances that led to everything happening the way it did. I was and am very impressed with the response! Similarly, I am convinced that my experience at this hotel was a freak experience or the perfect storm. Knowing the caliber of management they have at this hotel and how they conduct business, I would stay at this hotel again. ________________________________________________________ My worst stay at a Hilton property yet! First and foremost, the property itself is very nice. The staff at the bar, in the kitchen, and the maid staff were extremely friendly and professional. The issue I had was with the front desk staff and their handling of select other guests that were staying at the hotel. During the first two nights of my stay, there was a junior softball tournament in town and a few of the teams were also staring at the Hilton Garden Inn by the airport. From the sounds of it, I had a couple of 12-year olds in the room directly above me. Between the running back and forth, jumping off the bed, and occasional loud yelling, it was difficult to get to sleep at night or stay awake in the morning. I contacted the front desk two different occasions and was told that a staff member would address the issue. Thankfully, most of the teams check-out out on Sunday morning. Sunday night I actually had a restful nights’ sleep without any loud noises coming from the upstairs room. Monday night I was not so fortunate… Monday afternoon/early evening an elderly man checked into the room next to mine. When I returned to the hotel after dinner the TV in the next room was blaring and the smell of cigarette smoke was strong in my room with had an adjoining door to the next room. Once again I contacted the front desk to raise their attention to the blaring TV and the person smoking cigarettes next door. It took 45 minutes to an hour before the TV was turned down. The next morning I had to fly out early. I was awakened by the loud TV once again, before my alarm, and the extremely strong smell of cigarettes once again. Thankfully I was checking out that morning. I brought the issue up again to the front desk attendant who nonchalantly said “I’m sorry about that” and proceeded to wish me a good day. Between the inability to handle the other guests and one employee saying that a Hilton hotel didn’t accept Hilton gift cards, I was left with the impression that the front desk staff were incompetent and unhelpful. From my previous stays at Hilton properties, I know this is the exception and not the rule. But I will not stay at this specific Hilton property ever again!

Le Méridien Boston Cambridge – Menu with Prices – 20 Sidney St, Cambridge

The one star is for the comfortable bed. We travel quite a bit for business and travel and it has been some time since I have had a more negative experience with a hotel. While booking, I indicated that we would need a rollaway bed for one night, the first night of our stay. Apparently such a request is completely confounding to this hotel’s staff. I called the morning before our arrival to confirm and I was told that if they had a bed it would be in the room. So, we hoped for the best and went on our way. We arrived at the hotel in a car, no valet service was offered. No assistance with our luggage was offered either and no luggage trolleys in sight. So, while I checked in, my husband and daughter removed the luggage from the car. At check in I was given one bottle of water (that’s fine, it’s all in the family so we’ll share) and given the keys to our room. When I asked what should be done about our car, I was directed to the valet person, standing right there. Eventually we were able to communicate that we needed our car to be parked. When my husband and daughter came in with the luggae, the front desk staff asked them if they were checking in. Um, what? You just saw us all together figuring out how to deal with the luggage and the car. When we arrived at midnight (I had notified them in advance of our expected check in time), the rollaway bed was indeed in our room – standing vertical in the corner with no bedding. So, we rearranged the room furntiture and righted the rollaway bed so that it could be slept in and requested bedding for it. We were allowed 2 towels in our bathroom for three guests – we were exhausted from traveling all day so my husband elected to use one of the two hand towels as a bath towel rather than deal with the incompent front desk staff yet again. The following day, we returned again to a generous two towels and the rollaway bed still in our room despite me confirming on 3 different occasions that the rollaway bed was only for the first night. So, we requested that it be removed which is was. We rearranged the room furntiture ourselves and I treated myself to the one tea pod allowed to our room and used one of the two cream and sugar packets knowing now that I would not have it for morning coffee. Day three we returned to 1 towel in our room and 1 coffee pod for use in the coffee maker. Our ice bucket had been put back in place, including the melted ice from the night before. After complaining yet again, we were greeted at our door by a member of the staff with an armload of towels (many more than could reasonably be needed) as well as a plastic bag full of pods for the coffee maker, again many more than two people could consume. I only asked for enough supplies for two people. I don’t understand the hostility. The take home message is that if you want anything within the normal expectations of hotel service be prepared to ask for it. But, if you ask for it be prepared to deal with the attitude that comes with it. Or, just make it easier on yourselves and bring your own towels, beds, bedding, and coffee. Needless to say we will never, ever stay here again and we will certainly not recommend the hotel to anyone.

Hyatt Regency Green Bay – Menu with Prices – 333 Main St, Green Bay

I am very picky about out hotel room. It must be clean, quiet, and comfortable. When we checked in, Laurie helped us. Our room looked a little run down. We went back to Laurie and asked for a different room. Without hesitation, she assigned us another room. I didnâ??t love the location of the 2nd room. Again, we head back to Laurie. By this time most associates would be a little frustrated with me. Thankfully, she was kind as always. She talked with another girl Noely, and they got us in the perfect room! Room 829 is perfect! You can see the river, itâ??s quiet, large, modern, comfortable, with a nice bed.We forgot a few items at home, and the front desk brought us the items we forgot. They brought everything very quick!Breakfast buffet was average. Scrambled eggs (omelette on weekends), bacon, sausage, hashbrowns, fresh fruit, oatmeal, cereal, pastries. We needed to print a document for a wedding and Neal E. came over to help us.He was one of the managers. He was kind and genuinely cared about the guests. Our total was $650 for 4 nights with breakfast.Lambeau Field is appx 15 minutes away. The associates are really special here!I loved our stay here!

Courtyard by Marriott Roanoke Airport – Menu with Prices – 3301 Ordway Dr NW, Roanoke

I have stayed at the Courtyard Marriott Roanoke Airport every week for over six months and I have been blown away by the staff that consistently goes above and beyond. I travel frequently for work and often become friendly with the hotel staff, but I have never seen this level of commitment to helping guests feel welcomed. Within the first week, the Bistro staff Lorraine, Velisha, and John knew my coffee order and name so that they could have my morning coffee ready for me when I came downstairs. The front desk staff, Erica, Helen, Susan, Terry and Don always welcome me by name and remembers the little details. When I forgot to book a room one week, Erica proactively reached out, helped me look for alternative options when they were all booked, and monitored any cancellations closely so that they could get me in that week (which they did). This saved me from being stressed out during my work day knowing that they would handle this. In addition to providing wonderful basic guest services, the team makes guests feel known, valued, and cared for. Once when I had the flu while staying at the hotel, the staff called my room to check in on me, brought me dayquil, tea, and bread along with handwritten get-better notes. I received better care being sick at the hotel than at home! The team here truly makes my sometimes exhausting travel enjoyable knowing that I get to see them each week. They are rockstars and I hope you get the chance to know them!

Aloft Raleigh-Durham Airport Brier Creek – Menu with Prices – 10020 Sellona St, Raleigh

I stayed at this property during a quick work trip. It’s very close to the Raleigh airport, and the property looks exactly like the pictures on the website (most hotels DO NOT). The staff was extremely friendly, and went out of their way to make me feel comfortable. I’m not sure if the hotel is new or not, but the restaurant menus are VERY SLIM….especially after 10 PM. I understand having a reduced menu, but for people who stay longer than 2 days, there’s gotta be more than salad, hot wings, and hamburgers to eat. Also, the breakfast menu might as well not exist. It’s very “trendy” food, but nothing you would actually associate with breakfast. And there are no additions/changes. You get what you get! As for the sleeping rooms, they are very nice, and the beds are super comfortable. I got a double room (requested a King), but the bathroom was very nice and the water was super hot (also a rarity for hotels). The one thing that struck me as odd is that there are all these advertisements on the property about “keyless entry” and using the mobile app to unlock your door, but the property isn’t equipped for that (at the time of my stay). And while this has nothing to do with the hotel, the location is NOT great for having food delivered either. Overall, I’m not sure if I would stay here again. It wasn’t a bad stay at all, but it also didn’t make me want to stay here again. Happy Traveling!

Omni Corpus Christi Hotel – Menu with Prices – 900 N Shoreline Blvd, Corpus Christi

We have stayed here one other time and liked it so much we decided to stay here again for our weekend get-away! The hotel is located in a great spot, with easy parking and lots and lots of places you can walk to. The hotel has an indoor/outdoor pool where the indoor part is connected to the outdoor part with a passage way to go between. There is also a hot tub jacuzzi, but it is a little too hot for me. The pool is heated, which means you can swim all year round. Our heads were above the water outside and got a little cold since it was February, but even with that minor discomfort the swimming is a lot of fun! Our 8 year-old loves the pool and wants to spend the whole weekend in the pool! The workout area is top notch! We ate breakfast in the hotel breakfast area one morning, but were very surprised that we had to wait 25 minutes to be seated. We ordered the buffet and it was good but the long wait made it not a pleasant. There was also a big line at the waffle maker and omelet maker. It was surprising because the other time we stayed at this hotel it was quick and easy to eat at the breakfast area. I found the staff in that area were not friendly either, except once we sat down, then they kept asking us if everything was ok. It felt like they were only asking because they knew how long we had to wait. There were bunches of people who had to wait 25+ minutes. The food areas were not well stocked either, for the price, I expect everything to be full-to-overflowing. It was not a great breakfast but it was good. After that we did not eat there again, we ate outside the hotel at iHop or Shipley’s donuts. I think it would benefit guests if your breakfast policy and prices were more readily available because we were having to ask a lot of questions about what the breakfast situation was –was it included in the room or what are the hours, or what are the prices, etc. We had to ask by calling the front desk. I thought the room was great and the views were fabulous! I was sad you did not have the Hallmark channel, but the other offerings on the TV were good. The beds were comfortable but the pillow was not good. There is a refrigerator but no microwave in the room. I was very disappointed that there was no microwave, because I wanted popcorn in the room and to be able to heat up snacks. The room had a great oversized chair and ottoman, which were a little stained but comfortable. There were stains on the balcony floor which I did not like walking on with bare feet, but it wasn’t too bad. We had a great stay and plan to come back. This is a really great hotel and we highly recommend it.

Bespoke Inn Scottsdale – Menu with Prices – 3701 N Marshall Way, Scottsdale

I received a message to let me know that the office closed at 6 pm, with detailed instructions for entry into my room. Rather than risk the hassle after a 14 hour day, I arrived at 5:50 pm only to find the office closed. Disappointing, but they had provided all that I would need to enter, so not a big deal. The temperature that day was over 114 degrees, so I was wilting, and after about a half dozen attempts to enter using their fancy door lock, it was clear that I was not going to get in before I fainted. I sat down and called the number that they provided in the excellent instructions and was greeted by a friendly voice determined to get me into my room. The problem was a door that tends to stick, so the code and bolt wonâ??t work. She was aware of the problem. In such an otherwise pleasant hotel, I suggest that the door be fixed so guests are not left to fumble with a known problem. The suite was spacious and beautifully furnished. The bed was comfortable, and I seldom am comfortable in hotel beds. The bathroom has a slipper tub and a separate rain shower.I did not eat in the restaurant or look around the neighborhood as I was too tired.Unfortunately, at 7:30 am, I was jolted awake by loud workers around the outside area of the hotel. I hoped that it was rubbish collection and then it would become quiet again, but that was not the case. I am not sure what is going on in the vicinity but the guests should be warned when booking so that they can decide if this is suitable lodging for them, and given ear plugs on the bedside tables.I hope to return when the weather is cooler, and when the work is completed.
