What can I say Yelpers, this is a fantastic locals bakery, restaurant, and coffee house. We love it and visit several times a week and also use it as a meeting spot in NWX. Location, about as good as it gets in NWX. It can be filled with energy sometime and a bit loud but most of the time it is chill. If you choose the wrong time to visit you might find the line out the door, why is this? because it is worth it. During Farmers Market in the summer months it is awesome to see all the activity here. Coffee and espresso drinks, pretty good, but better first thing in the morning when it is staffed with a pro and not slammed. Their coffee bar can get rather busy and depending who is staffing this critical position, well this is not a training opportunity on a busy day, we seen a few crash and burns on the coffee bar ; ( Food, Simple breakfast options, lox’n bagel, breakfast sandwiches. Also other Healthier options like oats and fruit bowls and pastries, yes stay away form the Ocean Roll if you’re working on your waistline but I must attest, dipping an Ocean Roll into a warm cappuccino is very addictive, I think I may require an intervention. Value, who cares? It’s not that expensive and it is worth it, so say the hundreds that repeatedly visit each day. The owner is very stealthy or shy but the entire team seem to have it going on in this location which is way different than their other location which is, well, more organic. They are also building another location in NWX to accommodate their expanding business which I believe is more prep. My go-to place for sure.

Stauf’s Coffee Roasters – Menu with Prices – 421 W State St, Columbus

A friend of mine works out of the co-working space upstairs and he recently suggested I pay this particular Stauf’s Coffee a visit. I’m so excited to see Stauf’s expanding throughout the city so I jumped on the idea and made it happen. This little coffee nook is the perfect spot to hide away and get some much-needed work done. After all, it’s attached to a co-working biz (Columbus Idea Foundry). When I arrived, I found some metered parking spots right out front, easy peasy! When you walk through the front doors you’ll go up a few stairs, hang a left, and viola. You’ve made it! Oh, and yes there is an elevator if you happen to use a wheelchair or have limited mobility. No need to worry, they have you covered! The staff was friendly and took my order right away. I opted for an iced latte and grabbed a table near an outlet. It was delicious, as to be expected with Stauf’s. There is a ton of natural light inside thanks to the big windows that face the street and hey have tables and bar seating options available. Oh! They also had snacks at the cashier in case you get hungry during your stay. I noticed bagels, bananas, cookies, and Clif bars. While this particular Stauf’s is a little smaller than the others, its ability to get me in a get-sh*t-done mood is spot on. I’ll definitely visit this location again.

Boots & Brix – Menu with Prices – 701 E Campbell Rd, Richardson

I happen to be staying in the hotel where this restaurant is located. I get a free breakfast so I chose to eat here for my stay. It’s good, but not great. As I had the buffet, I noticed the place is clean, neat and organized. The staff is overly friendly and will accommodate almost any request. I am only giving 3 stars as for breakfast, $19 is a little high and if I were paying for it, I wouldn’t pay that high price. I think if they dropped the price to even $15, it would be better. I will say that even for a buffet, the food selection is great, lots to chose from! The coffee is so-so, but I am also a bit of a coffee expert. Unless you get the breakfast for free as part of your stay at the Hyatt, go somewhere else.

Basil Prosperi – Menu with Prices – 801 Grand Ave, Des Moines

In the last year, things have really changed here – expanding into pizza and now doing breakfast, as well as baking their own bread in-house. I am not sure any of these developments are for the better… I used to pop in for lunch once a week and loved the old sandwich bread they used before, but now the sandwiches are not anywhere near as good. I don’t see any obvious changes with the pasta dishes, but of course the side of bread has been downgraded. I haven’t had a lunch there in probably a month as nothing appeals to me anymore, or at least not as much as some of the other nearby options. Pizza – well, it was nice of them to let us sample the slices while they were ramping up, and I do think their pizza tastes good. The problem is the pricing is too high unless you can get 3 people together to order a full pie. $4-5 slices, depending on topping, are really not intriguing to me. If they priced them lower, like 2-for-$5, I’d probably opt for their pizza more often. Breakfast – after neighbor Dooley’s went out of bounds, Basil’s attempted to pick up the breakfast business… and I don’t think it is working. They lack simple items, which were also cheap and quick, and instead force you into something more elaborate and expensive. Maybe I’m the only one that sees the negative changes going on… the lines for lunch are still out the door, so I don’t think they’re losing business, but then again they also don’t have a single competitor in their building at this time.

Cafe Agrizzi – Menu with Prices – 250 Commercial St, Worcester

The staff is nice( the girl is super nice) however sometimes might look a little lost. Maybe they are new to the business. Coffee is good and the sandwich options are good however their lunchbox express options are not there. I am definitely sure people would totally have this more only if there were a few more options. I had only one problem with the box: too much rice and no sauce of any form at all. This is just plain cooked basmati rice( saving grace for being basmati rice as it has such great aroma) however the quality of the rice used is really good and the rice was cooked perfectly. The chicken was a little dry but had good flavour. Pickled carrots didnt seem pickled and the spring mix was literally just the spring mix and felt it had no or minimal dressing. Might want to mention to put more dressing while putting on the order. I would still try the other options esp for breakfast.

Rising Roll – Menu with Prices – 1605 Jefferson Park Ave, Charlottesville

I mostly go to Rising Roll for it’s convenient location, and for its meal exchange option on the UVA Dining plan. Rising Roll is affordable and comfortable, the atmosphere is laid back and the staff are very friendly. Between classes, the line can get outrageously long, but the staff stays friendly and moves as quickly as they can. Caribou Coffee is served here, it is decent coffee and you can pour it yourself. Though I haven’t tried most of the sandwich and soup options, I am a big fan of the pastries (especially the cinnamon roll, which they will heat up for you upon request), and the smoothies. Rising Roll’s location inside of UVA’s New Cabell Hall makes it very convenient for students, but not for other customers. Overall, it is a great place for students due to it’s location and affordability (accepts meal exchange and plus dollars through UVA Dining). Meal Exchange as of Spring ’17 Breakfast Meal Exchange: One pastry and one regular beverage or one regular oatmeal and one regular beverage Lunch Meal Exchange (after 10:30): Pastry and beverage, Original Veggie Sandwich and chips and beverage, Chicken salad wrap and beverage and chips

High tide lobster bar – Menu with Prices – 502 W Riverside Ave Suite 204, Spokane

I would consider myself to be a Lobster Roll aficionado, I’ve tried them from the east coast and west coast north and south of both coasts, and these are the best I’ve ever had. 16 dollars a roll may seem expensive, but I see an average of 22 dollar per roll pretty much anywhere else, so don’t let the price deter you. The bread was wonderfully crunchy and a perfect vessel to house delicious cold lobster dressed in tarragon mayo, butter, and topped with fresh squeezed lemon. If you really pay attention you’ll actually notice that they’ve managed to preserve a bit of ‘brininess’ in the lobster, I don’t know how this is achieved, but it is absolutely divine to have a slight hint of that ‘cold ocean breeze’ left with you after finishing a roll. The clam chowder is really good as well, I ordered a small last time, but admittedly I probably could have finished the large. I’ll have to go back and try this without the lobster roll just for a fair judgement, because the lobster roll is a lot like driving a Porsche, anything after just isn’t as good. 10/10 this is the new hot spot in Spokane, and it’s worth the wait. You’ll have to enter a business plaza and climb to the second floor and likely brave a line, but if you’re at all into seafood this is fantastic.

OSHA AUTHENTIC THAI AND SUSHI BAR Menu with Prices 2201 N Federal Hwy, Boca Raton

Another great find in East Boca… Being hungry makes you find good places, I guess. Woke up late on a Sunday, and didn’t have time to have breakfast before leaving the house. By 2pm I was starving! Thankfully my boyfriend had taken the time to look on yelp for a place to have lunch. We were debating if to eat in or take out. As soon as we parked, the place wasn’t busy, and it looked nice so we decided to stay in. Got a booth table next to the window, and immediately got some ice water served. We got time to look at the menu, and everything looked delicious! A wide assortment of Japanese and Thai dishes, including appetizers, rolls, noodles, salads, and more. They also offer lunch specials and happy hour until 7pm. We noticed they served some rice-less rolls so we opted for that, trying to be healthy and avoid the extra carbs. The Three Ocean Roll was our favorite. You honestly won’t miss the rice at all on this one. This is a Tuna, salmon and white fish all in one roll, full of flavor, wrapped in seaweed Sashimi roll – this one is the same as the above but with avocado and wrapped in cucumber. Plating is really with ponzu sauce on the bottom of the dish. I did enjoy this one but not as flavorful as the first one and smaller in size. Which made us think it was a bit overpriced (This was $9.99 for 5 pieces, the Three Ocean $11.99 for 10pcs). Sashimi Appetizer – you can choose between tuna, salmon, and white fish. Make a combination of all 3, pick 2, of just one. Prices vary depending on your pick but the amount of pieces is the same. Sashimi is served over ice with ginger and wasabi on the side, and some garnish for presentation. Service was quick and so was the kitchen. Our food came out fast, and we left happy we found another place for us to eat in the area.

Perrie’s Boutique – Menu with Prices – 1151 Galleria Blvd Ste 261, Roseville

Where to start- If I could rate more stars I would!! My sister & I had nothing but an AMAZING experience with Perrieâ??s boutique! The perfect customer service we received from Ocean was literally phenomenal. My sister had her senior ball in less than 4 days with no dress to wear- after a trip to Pierreâ??s boutique, she fell in love with a silver dress that was unfortunately a few sizes too big . Even though the mall closed at 9, she let us stay after hours to make sure the alterations were just the way we wanted! After a consultation from Ocean & telling her our situation, she was able to alter the dress within 2 days for my sister even though she had a lot of other dresses to alternate since it is prom/ball season! The alterations in itself was unbelievable- the dress looked even better than before & fit my sister beautifully!! The craftsmanship & service Ocean has provided is indescribable! Thank you so much Ocean for everything you have done!

Woodhaven Pancake House – Menu with Prices – 2600 S Kings Hwy, Myrtle Beach

Huge selection of food items or make your own. The Big breakfast is enough for 2 adults to share. Food comes all always hot. Coffee perfect. Clean. All Staff super friendly. Today we had Madison she was very helpful always checking up to accommodate all her tables as all staff was. They employ enough waitresses, cleaners, n cook staff this restaurant flows well no long waits. Definitely would recommend a visit. We will continue to return it’s a favorite breakfast spot! Sorry no pics did not take phone to Breakfast wanted to enjoy important meal of day!!!

Kahwa Coffee – Menu with Prices – 701 6th St S, St. Petersburg

I’ll give this tiny coffee bar at the hospital a 5/5 because it’s convenient, the coffee is good, the barista is nice, and the caffeine in their coffee does the job. +3 stars- yummy coffee. Their coffee is not the best that I have had but it is delicious and it is good. It does not have any after taste and it is smooth. They also have daily offers and happy hour. I don’t remember what exactly it was but I remember 50% off pastries after 3pm. +1 star – convenient for me because we spend a lot of our time at the hospital and it is easy to just go to this location and have a yummy hot cup of coffee to get through the 12 hour shift and the cold hospital environment. If you are at Bayfront and you need some coffee, definitely come here! +1 star – nice barista. The barista who works here is nice. She does her best to accommodate us even if she is working by herself. She also let us know that there is 10% off with a USF ID so if you have a USF ID don’t forget to avail this offer. LOCATION: it is inside the West Entrance of Bayfront. You can park in their parking garages or the 2 hour curb parking. Overall, they have good and yummy coffee. I suggest that you try their coffee.

A Place at the Table – Menu with Prices – 300 W Hargett St #50, Raleigh

My daughter and I visited A Place at the Table for breakfast before her train ride to WDC. There wasn’t much on the breakfast menu that interested us so we opted for lunch. My turkey club sandwhich was a little on the dry side however, of the volunteers was nice enough to bring condiments to my table. My daughter had the melt and really liked it. The guac on the side was fresh and tasty. I hear they are expanding to a larger which will be lovely for the community. The concept alone should inspire everyone to pay them a visit. I would like to go back to volunteer at some point. Consequently, I did notice there were way too many volunteers there that morning. The volunteers outnumbered the patrons considerably. To be fair I assume it gets busy Saturday mornings and they were there to offset that crowd but because it is such a small space it felt a little overwhelming. There was someone hovering over us the entire time wanting to be helpful, I’m sure.

Renaissance Boca Raton Hotel Menu with Prices 2000 NW 19th St, Boca Raton

Stayed here recently while attending a wedding at The Addison. I called a week in advance and spoke with an attendant stressing that I needed an early check in. They were able to get me a room at 2 pm when their check in time is usually 4 pm which was great however the attendant told us only queens were available. When we got to the room assigned, the door was propped open and wasn’t ready from the last visit. We were then given a new room with a king that all of a sudden became available which ended up working out great for us. Day 2 after being gone all day, I came back to our room around 3:30pm which had not yet been made up by housekeeping. I quickly called down to the front desk and they sent up someone to address this. As a Marriott Rewards member I was shocked about both of these experiences, I’m assuming it was just a busy sold out weekend. The property is in a great location, close to shopping, a Starbucks in walking distance, and a short drive to Mizner Park area. The lobby offered complimentary coffee every morning and the lobby was nicely decorated. You can pre- order breakfast to be delivered to your room in the morning. My boyfriend and I do this at every hotel we stay at. At the Renaissance, our breakfast arrived right on time as we selected on our order card and came hot. Nothing beats breakfast in bed! Rooms were spacious and the pillows were super comfortable. Safe and refrigerator located in each room which was great. Overall a good night sleep, friendly staff and service as Marriott hotels consistently provide.
