This place is pretty nice. It’s near the end of east 6th so it is quieter than many of its neighboring bars. The food was decent. We had the egg rolls as a snack while hanging out on a Saturday night. They were crispy and savory. Nothing you would normally expect from bar food. There are two levels to this bar. Both allow dogs inside if you’re curious. There is a bit of a concern maybe a deal breaker for you. The downstairs bar has a bunch of fun and unique drinks they can make for you, they have sports on the TV if that is your thing. They also do a great job of being very inviting. We met two of the staff. Tanner and Casey. Both were very outgoing and friendly. Made great recommendations and made sure that we felt welcomed at that location. The downside is what could be a really cool gin bar upstairs. The staff at the top location were not as good as the people downstairs. No names and a real what do you want, now get lost attitude. I personally do not drink gin and when I asked the gentlemen at the bar if he recommended anything he said and I quote, “I’m not sure dude we just have gin, let me know when you figure it out.” You have 40+ bottles behind you and you haven’t sampled one…. he walked away and started BS’ing with the other bartender who did his best to avoid us. If you want my advice than stay downstairs for your own good

South of the River BBQ – Menu with Prices – 2300 TN-48, Clarksville

We were traveling with another family & stopped for lunch. We ALL enjoyed our food VERY MUCH!! We mostly sampled BBQ pork but there was a kid’s cheeseburger ordered too. Side dishes were great! We had fried cabbage, YUM! Baked apples and a variety of others. Sweet tea was excellent! Service was really friendly, we felt so welcomed and appreciated. Sadly, none of us had room for dessert but I’m sure it would have been great! There is plenty of parking, we had two RV’s and had no problem. Reminds me, before we went in, we saw a couple of local gentlemen in the parking lot who had gotten their food to go & were unwrapping it to eat on the road. We asked them if it was good & they heartily said YES! They were right!

Ambrose West Menu with Prices 312 Haywood Rd, Asheville

On top of your ticket you must become a member ($1) due to North Carolina liquor laws. Guess North Carolina doesn’t like FREEDOM. Bring cash or you will have to add it on to a drink purchase. Speaking of drinks, the bar downstairs is very slow. A solo bartender was struggling to keep up with a line of customers that wasn’t very long or complicated. The outdoor patio was a nice place to sip before heading into the show. Downstairs bathrooms were spotless. Is this place brand new? The music hall is beautiful. and it still smelled like lumber. It does get a little hot towards the front. I tend to prefer warm to cold, but it was a bit warm in the front. I thought it was just warm all over but when I walked down the center aisle during a break in the set I felt a gust of cool A/C. Dress appropriately, as the musicians felt it as well. There were a few small technical glitches but nothing that marred the show – the lights went out but it was right at the end of a song so it was pretty cool timing for an accident! They popped right back on. If you’re thinking about walking from downtown Asheville…maybe don’t. It’s downhill as you walk towards the river and uphill as you walk away so it’s not a casual stroll in either direction. There are also two small sections with very limited street lighting.

Spring Garden – Menu with Prices – 2066 Wallace Ave, The Bronx

Iâ??d give it 0 stars if i could. Horrible attitude, for their food to be mediocre. Their food is honestly a last resort. I ordered a delivery and after 5 minutes of placing it they call me that they are downstairs, strange? After having to wait a minute for the elevator, i get downstairs and no one is there. I call and the girl on the phone tells me â??no one there i go homeâ? she hangs up and i continue to call and she keeps hanging up on me telling me to come get it. They can keep their dirty food and nasty service. I wonâ??t be ordering here ever again. Go to Panda just 2 blocks away from this place, a whole lot better !

CLOSED FOR THE SEASON- Wigle Whiskey Barrelhouse and Whiskey Garden – Menu with Prices – 1055 Spring Garden Ave, Pittsburgh

We stopped by here for a drink on a Saturday evening. This was the second time that we had been to this specific location. It was cool outside but they had the doors open and it felt good inside still. There were only a few people there and they had a guy playing the acoustic guitar. We usually go to the Wigle downtown at the Omni William Penn but it was good to go to another one. They had different drinks at this one on their menu but they could still do a old fashioned any way that we wanted it or any other drink. I ordered a party at the yough club. It was good but not the best Wigle drink that I have had. I should have went with a oldie but I wanted to try something new. Regardless we still had a good visit here and the guitarist was great. He set the mood and it was a cool relaxing time here at Wigle. We will be back again.

The Market at Bonton Farms – Menu with Prices – 6907 Bexar St, Dallas

I have been to this establishment 3 times now. The other two visits here were perfect. However, every time I’ve been in this establishment there has always been one employee that seemed to have a bad attitude. I have yet to deal with her until yesterday’s visit but it was as expected from seeing her attitude the past two times I had been there. She did not greet us, when I spoke to her it was not a warm welcome indicative of this usually warm location. We ordered our food and I sat ourselves business as usual despite the attitude from the staff. About 5-7 minutes passed and we hadn’t been given our coffee or water. This was surprising as it wasn’t busy at all. Any who I kindly asked the lady if it was ok if we got our drinks and her response was “you’ll get it when I make it. That’s right.” And then she kind of started backsliding in her tone and the manager heard the lack of respect she was showing the customer and tried to come over to get my coffee but I had had it by then and walked back to the table to talk with my family while the employee continued making fun of me with another customer. When I heard her making fun of me went directly to the manager and asked for my money back. As a Marine Veteran I have never felt so unwelcome. This is definitely a case where the bad apple has spoiled the bunch. I’d love to come back and give another review but I will not be there so long as the negativity is infecting all of the positivity I have witnessed before.

Daiquiri Lounge – Menu with Prices – 25602 I-45 Suite 105, Spring

Came here on Saturday the 22nd of December 2018 because one of my friends friend invited us to try out this new daquiri shop. Although I’m of age to drink the girls that we met there are not. They said they weren’t id’ing anyone and it was true because they had a drink. So I get there and I go up to the front to see what I want to order and I ask the lady if I can try the pina colada daquiri that they have. She then proceeded to ask me for my ID even though she hadn’t asked anyone else for one. I was the only Hispanic person at this establishment that night and I guess she felt threatened & she thought I was the feds. I felt discriminated against and didn’t feel welcomed. I am so sorry that I am caramel and am missing melanin. Of course I didn’t spend one cent. I refuse to give my money to a business that clearly doesn’t respect or value me. Keep the same energy with all of your customers.

The Human Bean Tempe – Menu with Prices – 1765 E University Dr, Tempe

Checked it out and ordered the java chip drink. Delicious drink. The shop is really cool and simple. The only reason I am giving a low rating is because of the service. The girl working on Saturday September 21 at around 3pm had a completely shitty attitude. I don’t know if she had a rough night the night before or she was mad because she was working on a Saturday afternoon. Anyway… cool coffee joint with great coffee!

Kanpai of Toyko – Menu with Prices – 533 Haywood Rd, Greenville

WORTH THE LONG READ. PLEASE SHARE. I had an awful experience at Kanpai of Tokyo on Haywood road this past Saturday. I donâ??t frequent the restaurant. I went because it was my grandsonâ??s birthday. I chose not to sit at the table because I wasnâ??t going to eat. I did however, go to the bar an ordered a drink. I asked the bartender if I could open a tab. She told me that I could just come back and back later. As I was walking back to order another drink she informed me that the assistant manager said that I needed to pay now. So, I sat down at the bar to order my drink. A different guy bartender was there. He walked back and forth for about 5-10 minutes before I finally asked him if he could help me. He told me that I had to wait for the other bartender to come back. I watched him make several drinks before I finally asked him why couldnâ??t he make my drink. He asked me very sarcastically…. what do you want? Of course, I told him. As he was bringing my drink to me I asked him for an orange slice. He then exhaled like it was his last breath. I asked for my check so that I could pay and get out of there. Meanwhile, my son came to the bar to order a drink. When he tried to get his attention, he walked away. I told my son that the guy already had an attitude with me. My son asked the guy what was the problem with serving us. He then hollered… I DONâ??T HAVE A PROBLEM. Iâ??M NOT SERVING YOU… CALL THE POLICE!…. Iâ??m like wtw. You have an attitude and you want to call the police on us! The assistant manager came over saying that they were calling the police and we need to leave because they were not going to serve us. I asked what did she witness that would warrant her to call the police. Then she hollers at me…. PAY FOR YOUR DRINKS AND LEAVE! Which I had done long before she walked up to the bar. OMG you already know that it went south after that. A lot of cursing and I am ready to go to blows with both of them. The manager came over to assess the situation and eventually served my son his drinks.. . This is one of many situations where the police are called for no apparent reason. Our situation could have played out differently. Innocent people have lost there lives to due to misuse of the police force. My money may not break them but it sure wonâ??t make them. I ask that you do the same. Despite what you think of them, recognize what they think of you. Remember that the next time could be you or your family member. #blacklivesmatter #notmymoney . MIYABI NEXT TIME!

The Globe Tavern – Menu with Prices – 4910 Skillman Ave, Woodside

Went here for the first time with a bunch of friends for some hangs – but the bartender was sort of unwelcoming. She told us there was a $5 “any cocktail drink special” going on but whenever we asked for a drink she’d say stuff like “not that” “uh definitely not” and laugh at us. i personally felt it was because we weren’t regulars and she wanted to keep the place regulars only but i can’t say for sure. Good points are that the bar back was really nice, very attentive and friendly, and it was fun to listen to people doing karaoke

Juice It Up! – Menu with Prices – 26917 Sierra Hwy, Newhall

I had a fairly tall order this morning… 6 smoothies, to keep my team motivated at the office. With an order like that I was already a bit frazzled. When I got to the cashier I ordered my multiple smoothies then paid. I could see the line building as the two gentlemen were making my order. While I waited, I remembered I had a coupon.. Eek. I felt terrible but it was buy one get one, so I felt as though I needed to speak up. When I did, Joshua was quick to assist me with my cash back. He also advised his co-worker to hand write and begin making drinks for the next in line. Joshua didn’t skip a beat and was very patient with me during my fumble. I so appreciate the customer service, and the smoothies were even better! Thanks a bunch gentlemen, well done!

Juices For Life – Menu with Prices – 1026 Castle Hill Ave, The Bronx

This place is usually busy with people. I’m sure they make great juices. But I have been to many places and by average it’s not difficult to make a juice out a fresh ingredients. From my experience the two types of juices I drank were both bad tasting because they were made in such a rush. One of them actually got me sick, but I didn’t know that was on my part for being allergic to certain vegetables. The reason I’m giving this business one star is because of the lack of good customer service skills. The moment I asked one of employees that I didn’t really like the juice he threw a fit. (He’s the brown young man who is flamboyant) He had the nastiest attitude, I felt like I wasn’t being nasty nor speaking down to him. I simply asked to make the juice sweeter since it had too much ginger for me. Instead of him just fixing the issue he decides to whisper something to another employee so she can fix the juice. I personally felt like he was a clear example of why businesses in the Bronx can’t aspire to grow. He’s the face of the business and he simply can’t be a professional. For what reason? It’s not like you’re doing a dirty job or city job.

Tastea Riverside – Menu with Prices – 11130 Magnolia Ave Unit C, Riverside

I USED to love this place (I have frequented this place once or twice a week since it opened) until a few recent experiences. My last straw was a few days ago. I ordered a small honeydew milk tea with no ice and half sweet with no boba. The guy who took my order (he was nice and friendly) asked if i wanted to top it off, I said no. I didn’t know that no topping off would result in only about 65% full and for about $5, it has left a sour taste in my mouth). I went to show the guy the amount of drink they gave me and asked if they could top it off for me, he said I would have to pay EXTRA. I felt like i was being ripped off. I usually order my milk tea with no ice and half sweet and of all the boba places I have been to (ShareTea, Half & Half, Happy Lemon, Ding Tea, Omomo, Boba Tea House, etc), I always get a full cup of drink. The previous visit with a bad experience was with a specific staff there. She was rushing me and cutting me off while I was ordering. I wanted to try one of the summer drinks when they were available (forgot the exact name, but it had honeydew and I DIDN’T know it was a slushy. Thought it would be similar to a muddy melon), and asked if i could have it with less ice, she gave me the most judgy and condescending look and talked to me as if i’m really stupid, “SO, it’s gonna be liquidy. You want something liquidy with slushy? You want that? You want that?” and shrugged. She could have simply said, “sorry, but we can’t do that with slushies” and i’d totally be cool with it. After this visit, I stopped going there for a few weeks. Normally, Tastea staff are so nice and friendly (and I love their positive energy), but one. I told my friend about it and she thought I was exaggerating until she came in and that same staff took her order. My friend agreed that specific staff had a really bad attitude. If it just happened one time, maybe that person had a bad day, but if it’s a few times, that staff needed further training in customer service. We didn’t wanna go in the day she’s working. I don’t usually write bad reviews, but I was and still am upset that I needed to say it. Not sure if I would go back any time soon.
