Wow. I could not believe how rude everyone here was. First, the bartender snapped at my friends to order at the side of the bar when we walked in. Then when we got a table (which took a bit to obtain as the place was packed), a guy came up to us and our full beers and asked if we were playing trivia. We said no, because we had to go to the airport soon. He asked how soon and we said about ten minutes. He asked if we could give up the table bc someone else wanted it, and we told him they could have it soon since we’d be leaving shortly. A few minutes later, he was harassing is to leave again, before any of us had even finished our beers. He also asked a group of six guys not to move from their tiny two person table into a larger table that they’d claimed first bc he wanted his trivia groupies to sit there. They said, “We’re playing trivia too!” Not sure why he was so rude and concerned about free trivia players more than other people spending money, but as we stood up to leave our beers he was shuffling women into our seats and didn’t bother to say thanks for leaving early without finishing your beers. Two stars bc the beer was good. Zero stars for costumer service and inadequate seating.

Emerald Island Casino – Menu with Prices – 120 Market St, Henderson

I love the food in the restaurant as far as gaming is concerned it was a lot better when I first started going there and if I didn’t like building up the points to get the free food well the food that’s free after I spend all my money I wouldn’t use my players card when I play because I I believe that they allow you to win and then catch you off if you’re not spending enough there’s people that are there that are there every day for hours and they’re the ones that always get called for the drawings in two and a half almost three years now I have never gotten called for one of their drawings where you get to spend the wheel and win money so and I’ve gambled anywhere from $20 a night to 2000 a night so I don’t know about that but the food is great when they get when they add on space so that wheelchairs have access to get through comfortably without getting cussed out by the other customers it’ll be even better

Flamingo Bowl – Menu with Prices – 3301 N 23rd St, McAllen

Wow what a horrible place! Based solely on bowling it would be about 3 stars, but the staff plus pricing makes it really bad. For starters, walking into the place it looks fairly modern and new-ishly renovated. The bowling lanes are nicer than usual and the bar/lounge in the alley is fairly nice. However, the staff can be fairly rude…especially the people working at the food counter. My guy and I ordered 2 grilled cheese sandwiches that cost almost $20 and when we asked for cups of water the staff rudely told us to pay an extra $4!! WHAT!!?? Then when we asked why we had to pay so much for cups of water when just paid $60 for food, drinks, and bowling they gave us a really rude response of basically take it or leave it. No regard or care for customers at all. We ended up playing one game and leaving. I felt really uncomfortable, like I was being ripped off the whole time. One game, plus grilled cheese sandwiches, plus a couple of beers cost 4 of us just over $80. Absolutely ridiculous! Will not be back!

Happy Buffet – Menu with Prices – 5600 Van Buren Boulevard #A, Riverside

My family and I came here for lunch and we politely asked if we could move tables. The waitress said okay but was alittle annoyed by it. We asked her for a new fork because the one she gave us still had food on it and she looked at my brother like he was crazy. Food is okay but once we were done she walked over to pick up the bill (which she had left there like a minute before while we were still eating) and stood there until we took out the money and placed it on the little black tray. She then started complaining because we hadn’t left the tip on there. She pressed for the tip for like two minutes and we were explaining that we were going to leave it on the table. She left and stood by their podium and just starred at us even after she saw we were leaving the tip on the table. She was going to get a tip anyway but the fact that she kept asking for it and pressing for it like she was caught me way off guard and it was definitely rude. And the fork really wasn’t washed well so there’s that.

Hank’s Creekside Restaurant – Menu with Prices – 2800 4th St, Santa Rosa

Let me start off by saying I’ve been coming here for years, and I’ve been waitressing myself for over three years so I get how customer service can be sometimes and I’m typically not one to complain. BUT my experience yesterday with a waitress named Stephanie was extremely disrespectful, inconsiderate, and flat out embarrassing that I will NEVER spend my money here again and she should be ashamed of her behavior. I came in around 10 with my son who is 15 months, my sister, her son and his father. At first when I arrived my son was a bit fussy, I got put him on my lap and tried to entertain him by playing with items on the table but after a few moments he was no longer interested and started fussing again. I was embarrassed already because I knew he was being loud and went to take him outside for a few moments to calm him down. He eventually relaxed and I brought him back inside and than began playing with some toys that were offered to us by the host. We placed our order quickly so we could get our food going in hopes that my son would have something to eat to calm down, but again after a few minutes he became uninterested in the toys and began fussing (as ALL children do sometimes). I looked to my sister and told her that I was embarrassed and hated being ‘one of those people’ and that idk why he was being so fussy because this usually doesn’t happen. About two minutes later, Stephanie (who wasn’t even my waitress at the time) came over to my table and began to very rudely tell me ‘your son is bothering people in the restaurant, can I get him some toast or something because he’s really loud and it’s bothering my customers.’ She used the word BOTHER twice in one sentence, as if me and my child were an inconvenience, and when my sister asked who was bothered she again suggested the entire restaurant. I asked her what was I suppose to do as a mother, that she could see I was trying to calm him down, and that I placed my order so that I could get him something quickly. She stated that she could bring toast, and made it seem like my ultimatum was to take the toast or basically leave. I was honestly mortified and so embarrassed I started crying. I’ve never been so disrespected while spending MY money at a business. I’ve worked in a restaurant and have had tables with fussy babies, loud parties, and excited guests and NEVER would I tell my table that they were ‘bothering’ people. There are many other ways you can approach a table with a loud child! Making the mother, as well as the entire table feel uncomfortable, humiliated, and embarrassed was completely unacceptable and disgusting behavior from someone who works customer service and makes a living off tending to customers needs. After my toast was dropped off, my sisters boyfriend got up and asked for her name and immediately after she came back to the table and insincerely apologized to us claiming she wasn’t trying to be rude. Than what was she trying to be? Why not approach the table and offer the toast without stating how much we were bothering people. Why couldn’t she avoid making me feel guilty for having a typical toddler. In your bio on Yelp you state this is a kid friendly place. Is that only for children who are having a good day? Am I suppose to sit outside in the cold with my young child until my food is ready? Am I never suppose to go out and enjoy a meal to myself because I’m a mother now and maybe, just maybe my son might get loud or upset? Is the money I’ve spent for years useless now that I’m a mother with a sometimes fussy kid? Have these people never been around children? I mean how ridiculous. After I asked her these things, she blatantly lied to me and claimed she never said I was bothering anyone and that she again wasn’t trying to be rude. She than suggested I was lying when confronting her and that she never said that! No acknowledgement for her disgusting behavior. No solution to her

Wildfire Lake Mead – Menu with Prices – 846 E Lake Mead Pkwy, Henderson

I have only been here for the wifi because of a emergency. I had never been bothered by anyone until today when I was trying to get a Uber to get somewhere else. I had been on their property less than two minutes and was trying to get Uber app to work. The girl comes out and says I have to go. Really every time I have been here trying to get a players card they have a problem with the machine that makes the card and I don’t see any point in spending money on not getting my points. I have a new phone and so I will not have to go back to.

Legends Pool Room – Menu with Prices – 244 N New Warrington Rd, Pensacola

They have a couple diamond tables for the more serious players, as well as coin operated tables for those just playing for fun. There’s always a couple salty old pool players there willing to play with you too. Kind of smoky, but that’s how you know it’s authentic. Overall, good tables and helpful people.

Draw Billiards Menu with Prices 64 Shattuck Square, Berkeley

The Broken Rack had a waiting list at 9:00PM. I’ve not played in a few weeks and wanted to get my stoke going, so I cruised up to Draw. Not out of the ordinary, I was asked to leave a cc or my dL for a table. No problem. Had to ask for chalk. Downstairs, the hall was moderately full. Seemed like a nice crowd, keeping to themselves. As a single player, I wasn’t approached for a money game, which is just annoying. Tables are clean and a server keeps it tidy. All are 9′. No smaller bar 8′ tables. Free soda refills. A few high tops and love seats are around. There’s one intimate booth near the bar in case you’re trying to hookup. Lol! Upon leaving, I was asked if I wanted the table charges on the cc I checked in with. No, actually I wanted to use my debit card. The server gave me someone else’s cc. Nope, not mine. Took a minute to find my cc and return it to me. Made me a bit anxious. There must be a better system. All-in-all, a nice store. Parking in downtown is a botcha. My play? I think I need more practice. I’ll be back.

9th Street Nook Menu with Prices 206 N 9th St, Boise

Wanted to really like this place. Walked in with a friend, there were about 5 other people drinking. We sat at the table, which is really close to the bar. We waited for the bartender to acknowledge us, we learned we needed to be three feet closer for this to happen. Apparently that was too far away for him to see us (sarcasm. We ordered 2 beers as 7 people walked in the door. We sat back down as he began to take their orders instead of fulfilling out. They were a bit unruly and asked several drink related questions. After 5 minutes of this, he began making their drinks. We realized since they were a bigger party, they were more important so we left. We told him we were leaving since he was too busy to get our drinks, he said “okay”. This is a few blocks from my house and I wanted to dig it. I was bummed.

Stars and Strikes Family Entertainment Center – Menu with Prices – 930 Old Monrovia Rd NW, Huntsville

After reading this post I will never go back to this establishment again. After spending money in Stars and Strikes VIP section, they accuse us of not fully paying to bowl. Although EVERYONE had on bowling shoes, that you can only get from paying at the counter. Before the converstaion even got anywhere there were two policemen, putting on gloves, bumping up their chest, stopping us from leaving and 7 cop cars outside when we finally did get out. The timespan between us leaving and the 7 cop cars didn’t make a lot of sense to me. It’s as if they pre-expected us to cause some form of trouble. The accusation of us not paying was found in a system that was messed up for an hour when we got there, causing us to move lanes. When we finally did move lanes, one of our lanes didn’t have the correct amount of time on it, because the system was still messed up. We all had an understanding with the mechanic that we would add more time once it ran out. The whole time I’m in there, I’m joking about how Stars and Strikes owes us money. Yet they had the nerve to come with that bull. Not once did they even consult the employees at the desk. Then of course you had a few of the white workers who knew what was going on, silent. Not ever going back of course. Wish us as black people would actually protest a lot of these major cooperations. It’s sad how we continue to put money in the pockets of people who hate us, kill us, and lock us up in cages. Where has our moral compass gone. Sincerely, an angry black man.

Oddfellows Liquor Bar – Menu with Prices – 2014 Elm St, Cincinnati

The decor and layout deserves 5 stars but we didn’t make it long enough to enjoy it. 3 of us walked in for the first time to have some food, drinks and watch the NCAA National Championship game. There were 4 people total in the bar area…2 of them just eating pizza off to the corner. 2 TVs. One was playing the game but we asked if the other tv could also be changed so we could sit where we wanted and watch. The bartender responded…”Well I don’t really play sports and don’t like them so…”. Mind you…there were music videos playing on the other TV. P.M. Dawn to be exact. Was really looking forward to hanging out, watching the game…and ummm…spending $. I’ve worked in customer service and sales almost my entire career. Unfortunately the attitude of the bartender put a bad taste in our mouths and we found another spot for the night.

Forest Thai – Menu with Prices – 1211 Forest Ave, Staten Island

So I am very upset about the service here tonight. My best friend and I usually come here to eat our vegan meals because their food is decent, but tonight is the last time. When we first came in the restaurant, they were busy, which is understandable. We waited at a dirty table for 20 minutes while they were working on other orders. When we finally got seated, we waited an extra 15 minutes for our order to be taken. The male worker came over and took our orders. As he brought out our drinks he slammed it on the table and did not even look at us. After that we ordered our vegan meals. I ordered my meal with vegan beef and brown rice. When the meals came out, my best friend tasted my meal and said it was real beef, which IT WAS REAL BEEF. After I specifically explained to the young man(he also asked us what type of meat we wanted) that I want it as SOY BEEF, he placed the order as real beef. I was pretty annoyed at this because that is not what I ordered and I do NOT eat meat. He came back with a new entre five minutes later. As I began to eat it I realized the cooks just replated my meal and switched out the meat, so it still had pieces of real beef left in there. I was aggravated so we just paid them their money with NO TIP because they did NOT deserve it and decided to leave. As we were leaving the lady rudely rushed after us and said excuse me ladies are you forgetting something? We looked at her and she opened our bill and said whereâ??s our tip? She was so disgustingly rude and this situation was very embarrassing because the entire restaurant became quiet and everyone was staring at us. I turned back to her and stated that they messed up on my order and was very rude, so they didnâ??t deserve a tip. I will NEVER step foot in this restaurant again. That was so rude and unprofessional. We understand that accidents happen, but they did not even care enough to make me a new plate or even apologize, but were so quick to ask for a tip. They need new workers with better attitudes and are aware of what they are doing. DO NOT go here, especially if you have special dietary needs because they DO NOT CARE! We learned our lesson and now they just lost valuable customers.

Flame Riverdale – Menu with Prices – 5740 Broadway Unit # 5, The Bronx

I’m stuck, giving this review. The food was great I would definitely come to this place to eat again but I was not so happy with our server and the customer service. We waited 15 minutes at our seat before anyone asked us what we wanted to drink then another 10 minutes before our order was taken. Everything seemed like chaos, I don’t know if it was that the fire alarm was carelessly blaring and going off for over 25 minutes before it was shut off. but the Chef was off, his jokes or the normal hibachi stunts we not on point, he just wanted to cook the food and get out of there. The Chef kept covering his ears while the alarm went off, it seemed like it threw him off. About 18 minutes of the alarms unpleasant and painful sound, I started to get a headache and wanted to leave the place but my spouse convinced me to stay and was a bit upset because we had already been seating down for about 35 minutes. After the alarm stopped, our chef continued to cook, but we were too busy looking at the chef in the other table since he was the only one trying to make the costumers feel comfortable again in the whole restaurant. our cook finished cooking and left quickly. another thing that concerned me was that though someone at our table was allergic to shrimp, all the food was prepared in the front when customarily the persons dish should be cooked in the back and apart for health reasons. Another thing that surprised me was that they didn’t even offer a discount or just a free desert for the 25 minute inconvenience of the fire alarm noise. I ended up taking my food home, the headache caused by alarm was unbearable but the food was good the next day. Maybe I will give it a try one day again. who knows.
