I haven’t had an opportunity to come here other than brunch but in Fullerton this is the best outdoor patio you can find and never disappoints in regard to the quality of their food and drinks. I like how Pour has kept it simple with their design, making sure there is ample natural lighting without being blinding. There’s a bar in the patio to make sure that your drinks are never dry and best part is their bottomless mimosas are not pre-mixed if that’s what you so desire. LOVE cause bottomless mimosas which are pre-mixed have never been a good experience for me. Although some of their brunch items may seem underwhelming as it is just the one item with no sides. Trust me that they know how to do that perfect balance in comfort brunch food that looks delicious while not sacrificing any taste. Most recently my husband and I ordered the banana pancakes and the Breakfast Sandwich. Absolutely mind-blowing how amazing they both were. Just think banana foster’s pancakes with just enough sauce dripping off the stack of pancakes but not so much that it becomes soggy. The breakfast sandwich can be made with your choice of sausage or bacon. I chose the sausage but with the other components it was to die for with the perfectly toasted, flaky croissant, the perfect amount of oozing cheese, the eggs perfectly done. After finishing our dishes, my husband and i were stuffed which trust me never happens we eat an insane amount of food. The staff is friendly and nice although when they are really busy sometimes it is harder for them to notice you right away when you need something but overall they’re service is great over the few times I’ve been here. Our go-to spot for brunch in Downtown Fullerton.

Schulte & Herr – Menu with Prices – 349 Cumberland Ave, Portland

This unassuming German restaurant does a great brunch! My in-laws rave about it, and for good reason. Their brunch dishes are tasty, fairly priced, and uniquely German in a town with a lot of other brunch options. I had the sautéed spaetzle with caramelized onions, emmenthal, and chives, which was cheesy and delightful. It’s everything I want in a breakfast carb. My husband and best friend both got the German-style omelette, which was good but didn’t wow them. My best friend’s husband got the potato pancake and lox plate. The portion was on the small side, but the potato pancakes were melt-in-your-mouth and perfectly seasoned. We all agreed they were the best potato pancakes we’ve ever had. The restaurant itself is cute but could benefit from stronger air conditioning in the summer. It was uncomfortably hot when we ate there last year. The owners were very nice though, and we’d happily come back for another brunch.

Acadia Foods – Menu with Prices – 228 W Acadia Ave, Winston-Salem

My husband and I have been here at least once every weekend for the last month. They have some of the best sandwiches in town and you can tell they put thought into each one. The atmosphere is also very laid back and they have a patio you can eat out on as well. I’m vegan and their vegan tempeh, lettuce, and tomato sandwich and cauliflower melt sandwich are killer. My husband isn’t vegan and his favorites are the fried ribeye sandwich and fancy bologna sandwich. We’ve also gone for their brunch on Sundays which is also awesome. He loves the slappys chicken biscuit and chorizo sandwich (which is the size of his head). I’ve only had a bagel with tempeh and vegan cheese (which is made with lavender and honey’s local bagels) and it was pretty good but they have some other vegan options I’m wanting to try. They have mimosas and such for brunch but also coffee and specialty coffee drinks any other time of the week which are really good. We usually don’t spend more than $25 on an entire meal with sides which is one of the best parts. We highly recommend this place!! Winston needs a place with great food and great prices.

Skillets Diner Menu with Prices 10500 Hageman Rd, Bakersfield

If you are from Bakersfield, you know that we take brunch seriously on Sunday. I rate breakfast spots on three things: (1.) service, (2.) taste and portion size of the food, (3.) libation options. The service was fantastic. Our server was very friendly and knowledgeable about the menu options. She was prompt and attentive. There was a woman I am assuming was of authority standing in the sever station that stared at everyone dining and was wearing street clothes and flip flops which I thought was odd because she looked very unprofessional. The food was average. I ordered the Irish skillet which came with corned beef and scrambled eggs. It was a bit dry; I recommend getting the eggs over-easy or medium to let the yolk run out all over the dish. The server informed me that it is an option to substitute the eggs. The pancakes were a bit too thick for my liking; lacking the fluffiness that I love when eating pancakes and making them difficult to swallow. The portions were a bit small for what other restaurants in the area have to offer. They have a beer and wine license so Bloody Mary’s are not an option. The mimosas were disappointing. They were served in the traditional champagne flute glass and were a bit expensive for the amount you receive, which I am assuming is a four ounce pour to make room for the orange juice in the 6 ounce glass. There are better specials in other restaurants for mimosas on Sundays offering bottomless options or the additional mimosa half off.

Cast Iron Trading Co. – Menu with Prices – 114 N San Joaquin St, Stockton

My friend and I sought out to find a nice brunch spot that also serves Mimosas. After driving around Stockton a while and passing up places that had an hour or more wait time for seating we decided to try CIT’s brunch. We had previously dined here for dinner, drinks and appetizers and were pleasantly surprised. If you enjoy high quality, fresh ingredients and great vegan options, this is the place to try. The chef did not disappoint, my friend ordered Big Bri’s Chicken & Waffles – which she raved about the presentation, the flavor and seasoning on the chicken that was paired with waffle fries perched on top of fluffy perfectly cooked waffles: giving this dish the perfect combination of comfort food at a suitable portion. She topped her meal off with bottomless Mimosas,curbing the inkling for Sunday spirits. I ordered the Vaquero Skillet – where I would typically stick with light breakfast options, I was confident that I would not feel to weighed down after indulging. Again the portion size was perfect, the sautéed peppers & onions with lockeford sausage chorizo topped with potato wedges blended very well avoiding any one ingredient overpowering another – I was thoroughly pleased. I opted for the Kambucha Mimosa to wash everything down- a perfect blend of that ‘bucha’ ferment with light bubbles. The staff was very accommodating and friendly, the seating is intimate yet very open and the vibe is laid back with a touch of urban appeal. They also host a number of artists on various days monthly, so check em out FB:CastIronTradingCo/ And IG: cast_iron_trading_co This is a perfect place for a quick bite offering plenty of beer and drink options. The produce and ingredients are locally sourced and the menu is regularly updated and they offer specialty dishes as well! The owner is often available checking in with diners to ensure everyone is satisfied! We will happily return to eventually try all of the menu options. BreadHive Bakery & Cafe – Menu with Prices – 402 Connecticut St, Buffalo

I’ve had a few people rave about the breakfast sandwiches here, so I finally got to give them a shot after a night out in Buffalo. I now understand the hype! I came here with two others on a Sunday morning around 10am. The shop on the inside is small but had a few booths and tables. They have a good outdoor seating section though, which was perfect on this warm, sunny morning. When we showed up, there were a few people sitting outside and a couple inside and we virtually didn’t have to wait in line at all. The menu, in my opinion, is perfectly sized with a variety of breakfast sandwich and lunch sandwich options, a wide variety of bagels, pretzel rolls, and other types of breads, as well as pastries and desserts. They also appeared to have a good amount of vegan items on the menu too. The staff behind the counter were very conscientious and easy to talk to. So I was told to try “The Aaliyah” breakfast sandwich (scrambled eggs, house breakfast sausage, cheddar cheese, butter, and maple syrup) on a bagel for my first time here. So I ordered that on a Rosemary Salt bagel and a cup of coffee. The price for the sandwich and coffee came in just under $10, which I thought was pretty fair. Afterwards, I sat outside and sipped on my cup of joe with my party and it seemed like maybe ten minutes passed and each of our sandwiches were ready. So first thing I noticed was how big this thing was! The amount of egg and cheese was perfect! What really sets this sandwich off though is the breakfast sausage: it was cooked perfectly and had a little spice to it (maybe sage?) and was tender and just so fresh. The maple syrup helped to balance the flavor out between the egg and breakfast sausage and it was not dumped on the sandwich, it was just the right amount where you could tell it was there. I’m not a huge bagel guy, but man, that Rosemary Salt bagel was phenomenal and had a nice chew to it. I’m glad they wrap the sandwich when they serve it though because it feels like the fillings want to slide right off. The sandwich itself though was perfectly sized though as that with a cup of coffee set my day off right and left me very satisfied! I’m very impressed by this little place! I would love to come back and try one of their lunch sandwiches but would be just as happy to order another “Aaliyah”. ?

Herb’s Social – Menu with Prices – 6305 N President George Bush Hwy #8101, Garland

We ate Sunday Bruch here today. We were seated by a friendly hostess who sat us on the patio, at our request. At 11:00 AM their were no other diners inside or outside. Our server was pleasant and knowledgeable about the very limited brunch menu. My husband and I ordered the American Breakfast; two pancakes, two eggs over medium, and two strips of bacon. Our friends ordered pancakes only. Here is why I gave this restaurant a one star rating. The eggs were cooked well , well done. But the pancakes were much worse. I’ve never had any that were so dense, dry, and heavy. In fact, when I first saw them on our plates, I thought they were made with cornmeal and flour. Needless to say, not one of us had more than two bites of the pancakes. We did have much discussion among our foursome as to how any cook could so screw up pancakes. As we were leaving an hour later, I noticed there was only one inside booth occupied for dining. However, there was three people drinking at the bar. The lack of diners at noon on a Sunday speaks volumes. Herb needs to monitor the fare his cook is sending out, or there won’t be a Herb’s Social much longer I’m afraid.

Sakura Cafe – Menu with Prices – 2389 Burrard St, Vancouver

This is a small Japanese/Asian-style cafe located on Burrard, just a short distance from Broadway. They have a menu of various breakfast and lunch items, as well as a large variety of drinks. I had a Matcha Latte and Breakfast B, which consists of pancakes, eggs, and sausage. The food was solid; the prices were also very reasonable. The service was minimal, but the staff was very friendly. All in all, this is a joint that I’d definitely recommend checking out. They do have quite a limited number of seats however, so catch them at a less busy time or have your food to go. Matcha Latte ($4.35): 4/5 The latte had a great fragrance from the matcha. It was smooth and creamy, and had a wonderful, slightly bitter flavour. Breakfast B ($7.99): 3.5/5 This consisted of two pancakes, two scrambled eggs, and turkey sausage. The pancakes were relatively light and fluffy. The eggs were quite fluffy and creamy. The sausage was flavourful, and had a nice spice to it. Summary: Food: 4/5 Price: 4/5 Service: N/A Overall: 4/5 Recommendations: Matcha Latte, Breakfast B

Goat Haus Biergarten – Menu with Prices – 532 Clay St, Montgomery

We used to be frequent costumers here they used to have great food and excellent service, they even had little pastries they used to bring out while you wait that were delicious, came back after a few months and they must have had a change of management because it was order at the counter with horrible service our bottomless mimosas were everything but bottomless and served in plastic cups, even the coffee was served in styrofoam cups. food had taken a major hit and lost a lot of its flavor that I used to talk about. Food was also served in plastic bowls. I am so sad that this happened to one of our favorite brunch places. I hope they get it together and bring back the quality the Gump remembers.

Portico Coffeehouse – Menu with Prices – 1000 Longfellow Blvd, Lakeland

I was in town for a birthday celebration, and during my stay at the resort, I decided to give their Sunday brunch a try! An endless buffet with crab legs, oysters, shrimp, steak, omelet stations waffle stations, dessert AND bottomless mimosas for $30?!?! WHAAAT you can’t beat that, at all!

McCann’s Local Meats – Menu with Prices – 739 S Clinton Ave, Rochester

Heard about McCann’s from a coworker. They recommended coming in to try their weekend brunch menu. We were not disappointed! It is a bit difficult to locate while you’re driving down the road. When you’re driving down Clinton Avenue, it’s located at the back of a small parking lot. When we arrived, we were greeted by an amazing display of various steaks, sausages, poultry, and marinated meats. They had a variety of breakfast sandwiches, burritos, frittatas, etc. We ended up sharing a burrito, pancakes, corned beef hash, and a breakfast sausage frittata for our group of 3 adults and a child. This ended up being more than enough food. The pancakes are similar to the “fluffy” Japanese pancakes. They came out on a hot plate and were light and fluffy. The corned beef was made from scratch and definitely tasted like it was home made. The burrito was very filling and a perfect portion for breakfast. The only thing that we didn’t really like was the frittata. The frittata tasted good but was a bit dry and definitely was the least popular amount the 4 dishes we had ordered. There is both in door and outdoor seating. In door is a bit louder than outside because of the open kitchen layout they have. The staff is very friendly and are willing to explain to you the importance of using locally sourced meats. The only thing I wished they offered was free coffee refills. Definitely will come back and will be one of the places we bring out of town guests to!

Butch’s Place Family Restaurant – Menu with Prices – 3330 W 26th St, Erie

Cute little diner, very busy and now I know why! We stopped in after finding this place on Yelp. What a treat. We all wanted a hearty breakfast after a rough night out. It took a few minutes to get a table and quite a while to get our food, but the coffee kept coming and the ladies working were friendly. The omelets were cooked perfectly, not over done. I’d definitely recommend Butch’s breakfast potatoes over the hash browns. The hash browns were under cooked. The breakfast potatoes were fresh cut and cooked on the grill…perfection. The pancakes were the BEST I’ve had in a long time. The batter had a nice flavor and the texture was heaven. They had a hot griddle crispness to them and were soft and fluffy in the middle. We ordered the vege omelet which came with potatoes and toast, an order of 2 chocolate chip pancakes and a breakfast combo that came with two eggs, two plain pancakes, meat and potatoes, and a coffee and the bill came to $26 before tip. Not bad pricing, but those pancakes are worth every penny. It was a good amount of food. Just what we were looking for!

Break Fast Grill – Menu with Prices – 310 Polk Dr, Tallahassee

We were headed home this morning and I spotted the word Break on a sign set back from the main road. Curious if the rest of the sign said Fast, we turned around to check it out.It did say Break Fast. And Buffet. Since it was still morning and we hadn’t had breakfast, we had to try it.The restaurant was new. It’s been open about a week. The building is a bit run down but the interior looked clean. There were several two-top high tables along the windows as well as regular tables and chairs in the dining room. We first sat at a high table but when the server brought over the pancakes she suggested we might prefer a larger table. Good suggestion.For $7.97 you get an all you can eat breakfast. Coffee and drinks are extra. Eggs, pancakes and waffles are made to order. All the other items were on a serve yourself buffet.You can check the website to see all that’s on the menu. Salad items were available at breakfast. Ice cream is also available all the time.The two most interesting things to note is that the sausage gravy and grits were delicious. These are two of my least favourite breakfast foods at a restaurant but I always like to sample them at a new place. Their grits and sausage gravy were delicious. The grits didn’t taste like water and the gravy had big chunks of meat in it.The server came over to see if we wanted waffles and pancakes. I ordered a waffle, Walter ordered pancakes. They were perfect. The server was exceptionally friendly and almost mother-like as she kept insisting we needed to tell her to tell the chef to ‘drop some more pancakes.’ Cold cereal and fresh fruit were also available.I am looking forward to going back here to try their lunch buffet.
