I lived in Wilton Manors 10 years ago, and now have recently returned once again. 10 years ago, Scandals was my favorite bar. Looks like they have undergone a major cosmetic overhaul, and I understand new owners (since I was here last) have bought it. Most (but definitely not all) of the bartenders are friendly and affable. A couple of them are very cute to boot. What I do find disappointing is the overwhelming amount of seniors (we’re talking REALLY OLD MEN) that predominate the bar at any given time. I wish there were more handsome sexy men in my age bracket (50s) to choose from when going there to meet potential dates. (There never are any). Sometimes I go there, and as I look around, it feels like it’s one step away from an assisted living facility. I saw one old guy fall on the patio (poor guy) and I was thinking this bar needs more nurses on staff then bartenders. Scandals has a keraoke night, which consists of a primarily octogenarian audience and participants. It’s like watching entertainment at an old folks home. On Sundays, when they have their beer bust, at least there are more that come in who are not geriatric, but that’s about the only time from what I’ve seen. Never a very attractive crowd, overall. I guess the good ones are all taken, this place seems to be a bunch of rejects. I’m commenting on this bar, as it used to be my “go to” bar, back in the day.. Now it’s just disappointing. It was never like this, to such an extreme. I dont know what has happened to this town in the last 10 yrs. These geriatrics were always around, now they have taken over everything. Most of Wilton Manors (at least the guys who go out) appear to be in their 70s, 80s and up. The only other option in this town with guys who are younger than 70, is the stuck up muscle bears, who are arrogant pieces of shit to begin with. (They don’t go to Scandals, except maybe a very small amount, which is a blessing). Where to go out to find that handsome guy under 75 without the attitude who is just right? Not sure it exists here. It really sucks. Sigh.

Yost Theater – Menu with Prices – 307 N Spurgeon St, Santa Ana

Cool theater. We saw Peter Murphy from Bauhaus play last week and it was a great show. Every working there is awesome. Bartenders didn’t leave you waiting and made good drinks. Sound system didn’t leave us deaf, it was on point. We chatted with some of the guys that set up the show and they were really cool dudes. Same guys we ran into at an Iron Maiden show 9 years ago. Good times.

Carolyn’s Cake & Candy Supplies – Menu with Prices – 3131 N Division St #104, Spokane

Carolyn’s had what you need for bashing and candy making. Including awesome classes! Took the basic cake decorating class today. $95 includes lunch and all the supplies you need for the class. Michele makes it fun and interesting. She had been teaching classes for years, first for Wilton and now for hey own business. You get to take most of your supplies home and the cake you decorate! Definitely worth it if you’re into that stuff! You also get a certificate of completion! She even does private parties!

RJ’s Sports Pub & Grill Menu with Prices 4195 Massillon Rd, Akron

I come to RJ’s a few times a month, and it’s pretty much the only bar in Green that I will go to. It is fun and welcoming, and really has some of the best bartenders out there. If you come in on Tuesday through Saturday after 6:30pm you will not be disappointed with Tom. He’s a lot of fun, sarcastic and playful, and an amazing artist to boot. His other bartenders are great as well, they are all very accepting and friendly, whether you’re a local or from out of town. The menu is not extensive, but they have decent bar food during the day, and some of the best wings around. Another plus for this place is the price- cheap. $2.25 for pints and $2.50 for bottle or 20oz draft fishbowls, it’s pretty hard to beat in my area. Whether you’re a regular, a local who’s never been here, or from out of town – come check it out!

Neveria Tino – Menu with Prices – 4476, 7301 Baseline Rd Ste B, Little Rock

Meega Korean – Menu with Prices – 4070 Jermantown Rd, Fairfax

Visited this establishment with my family, and we were bit disappointed at the foods we were served. Upon entrance, we were greeted by a friendly staff member. We ordered 3 portions of Galbi and 1 dish or spicy octopus /galbi. The banchan(s) were decent. Nothing remarkable tho. After waiting for about few minutes, the meats were brought out and the staff member started to cook the meat for us. I was shocked at the amount of fat that the meat had. The meats were super fatty and we could only taste the fats. Felt super oily. The spicy octopus-galbi was very disappointing as well. Unlike the display, which looked absolutely amazing, the octopus was uncooked, and the texture of the galbi was really cheap. The quality of the food was really disappointing. I’m giving 2 stars because the staff members were super friendly, the service was pretty quick, and the restaurant was fairly clean. However, I dont think we will visit this place again anytime soon.

Sip Cocktails & Martinis – Menu with Prices – 2300 Paseo Verde Pkwy #2672, Henderson

An excellent casino VIP bar with a local feel!! I notice there are not many recent reviews since this placed changed from an old lounge bar called Ovations a few years ago. The bar is excellent with top shelf comps if you bet their minimum. Everything is hand poured and all bartenders at all shifts are excellent. Nixxi is your regular daytime bartender and you can’t go wrong on any day, she even hand stuffs the blue cheese olives! Brandon and Jeremy are the regular night bartenders with Amy, Sandy, Linda, Nicole, Alicia mixed in on break and alternating nights. All are excellent bartenders who take pride in mixology to create whatever martini or other taste you are in the mood for. Come by and say hi and they will remember you and your drink you the next time you stop by.

Bud Olson’s Bar – Menu with Prices – 3207 Leavenworth St, Omaha

My favorite bar in town, been coming here for over 10 years. The owner Tom is a super nice guy, and his daughter Kerry is great too. Over the years the bartenders have varied little, all decent folks. The drinks have always been, and still are, cheap and mighty stiff. Locals tend to fill the seats at the bar, but everyone is welcome. Thereâ??s a true sense of community among the folks here, I love it. There is a game machine, pool table, bank shot machine, and a jukebox. Handful of TVs, half with wheel of fortune, half with sports balls. They rarely have specials (if ever), but they donâ??t need to, whatever youâ??re drinking is cheap anyway.

Milanos antojitos – Menu with Prices – 6917 Stall Rd, Charleston

I’ve been going here for 4 years now. You guys used to have someone that spoke English but now you don’t. I can’t even call and place my order. The lady that answer just says “no English” then hangs up. I have to go up there and hope that the lady understands me. Which means I’m not really getting the food i want. This is just so disappointing because your food is amazing. Please get someone at the register and at the phone that speaks English and Spanish. If you do I’ll change my review to five starts. Thanks

Sugar Cubed – Menu with Prices – 531 13th St W, Bradenton

Not really impressed. Wanted a treat at work so was surprised they had a delivery option. Chose it and placed order. Ordering was very confusing. They need to improve if going to continue. I wanted an assortment of cookies and they had a box option and discounted if bought by dozen. It would not however let me choose the cookies so i opted for an assortment. I only got 3 different flavors even though the menu showed more. It also doesnt state that certain cookies are not discounted. Example the macarons. Had i known they dont consider these a cookie and therefore dont qualify for the cookie box that discounts the price. And website stated that discounts were available if a dozen ordered. I found this out through an email stating they were charging my card an extra amount. Had website been more specific i would have changed my order. Also tjought cookies were very greasy and extremely heavy tasting and a bit dry. The grease soaked through the box. Didnt really expect that. Overall not much flavor and didnt expect the white chocolate macadamia nut ones to have coconut. It should be part of description. Overall experience was disappointing and wont be back. If you continue to offer online order please take a closer look at it it needs a lot of improvements

Payette Brewing Company Menu with Prices 733 S Pioneer St, Boise

In town on a layover, wanted to try some local beer with my bf and popped in here. We were checking out the flight menu at the bar and weren’t sure what to do next to order so we walked nearer to where two bartenders were standing. They were having a conversation, my bf said ‘hey guys whats going on’, very politetly. One looked right at my bf and clearly acknowledged his existence, and turned back to the side to keep talking to his coworker. We just stood there and then he looked back at us with a blank stare and didn’t say A THING. I said ‘is this not where we order?’ And he got us our flights without one once of customer service, even though my bf kept saying thank you and was being kind. We discussed afterwards that was the most awkward conversation and customer service interaction wed ever had. We didn’t feel like we did anything out of the ordinary, just trying to order. I approached the bartender a few minutes later and asked if we did something wrong, and he said he was just in the middle of taking care of other customers and he had seen us and was getting to us next. Well that’s chill bro all you had to say was hey guys what’s up? I’ll be with yall in just a second. Not act like we were the most inconvenient part of your day. We work in your industry and get it. And that was awful customer service bros. Never been treated so poorly on the first interaction before.

Oâ??Brienâ??s Pub – Menu with Prices – 28 E Kingsbridge Rd, The Bronx

O’Brien’s is a great place to grab a beer, relax and watch a ball game. The bartenders are friendly and there is always a lively conversation going on. Pool table and darts in the back of the bar. Been going here for years. The owner is a class act all the way and one of the most generous people I know. Every year he has a huge Christmas party with free food and drink. Regarding a previous tip…I’ve never seen a minor being served here.In fact the bartenders go out of their way to card people.
