My family and i stayed here over the weekend 05/04-05/05. My mom reserved MONTHS ago two rooms with two queen beds in each room. We were given two rooms on the 5th floor, but her room key did not work. They assigned her another room on the 2nd floor. We left for the wedding and when we got back realized that the new room only had 1 queen bed. This now left 1 of our guest without a bed. i went downstairs very calm and asked for a cot, the lady at the desk informed us that they could not get us a cot because the maids were not in, i then asked for extra blankets and a pillow so that our guest could at least sleep on the floor (which should’nt of been a situation to begin with) she then brings me two blankets and tells me they do not have any extra pillows. at this point its late and im very aggravted given the fact that the PI is a kinda pricey and supposed to be a ‘nice’ hotel. It was very unprofessional and very unaccomodating. Another thing, I called a few days before the reservation and asked some questions about the shuttle service. the man on the phone informed us that they do shuttle service 3-5 miles or to a wedding. The wedding was within the radius and given its a wedding there should be no problem.. He DID NOT inform us that it was first come first serve basis. He just said all PI guest have access to it. So 1 hour before the wedding we went downstairs to let them know we would need a shuttle and the guy informed us that it was booked there was nothing they could do about it. I understand it being first come first serve but thats something that should be told to guest especially when they call and ask questions about it. My parents ended up driving home at 2 am so that my sister in law could sleep in their ONE bed and not on the floor with two scratchy blankets that were not even comforters. Very annoyed with how the employees handled this situation. We will not be staying at the PI ever again. I’ve stayed here personally, so many times and have never had such an awful expierence.

The hotel itself wasn’t bad. We had a group of 4 staying one night stay. When we got to the hotel we were early for check in but the lady called housekeeping and informed us it would only be about 10-15 minutes. We waited for over an hour before I went back up to the desk and asked another man if our room was ready. He told us there was still no room available and made no effort to check with housekeeping until I asked if he could. Of course there was a room ready by this time. While checking us in they told us the total which I informed them was not the amount we were told on the phone or in the email confirmation. They proceeded to tell me it was an incident fee. I DO understand these fees but I DO NOT understand why I wasn’t informed when I asked more than once what the total was and if that was EVERYTHING included. The only explanation they had was they didn’t have to give out that information or price unless you asked specifically, which I told them I did. I know that I called and got the rate first, I then called back to book the room and asked the total amount for the stay again and explained we were splitting the cost so we needed to make sure of the total, and I also checked and verified with the confirmation email. Some people may not worry about things like this but I feel that it should be addressed especially if guest has asked for the total amount and already explained their situation.

Don’t use this hotel for your wedding block! . . Sara Davidson was the nicest lady ever when we booked our wedding room block 11 months in advance but things quickly turned ugly when we tried to modify the room block. She referred us to her manager who was very rude throughout the whole process and we landed up having to pay for 70% of the rooms in our room block even though we cancelled 6 months in advance! . . I reserved 10 rooms, 11 months in advance of my wedding in Albuquerque. Later, my family and I had to move to another city so I moved my wedding as well. I notified the hotel 6 months in advance that I wished to cancel my room block. They did not let me cancel my room block and made me purchase gift certificates for 7 rooms for about $950! The gift certificates could only be used in 2018, on a weekend, not during balloon fiesta or other large event in Albuquerque. They told me anyone could redeem them but when my family tried, they were turned down. I landed up having to use all the room stays and each one was pretty crappy. We could only reserve rooms by calling Zach Sturgeon and he was so hard to get a hold of! When we stayed there in the summer we could not sleep because the rooms stayed so hot and the air conditioners didn’t work. We had the AC turned all the way down to 65 degrees F and still the rooms were about 80 degrees F. Maintenance came and looked at them and said that they were working fine. It was miserable! Then, their pool was dirty and freezing! Free breakfast was supposed to come with each room stay but 2 out of the 7 times we stayed there, the manager of the hotel said we could not have free breakfast. . . I wasted so much money on this Hotel and the customer service was bad. I will never stay here again if I can avoid it. I looked up the room rate each time we stayed and it was well below what I payed for the gift rooms. I feel taken advantage of and I hope this does not happen to anyone else.

Stopped by with the wife and my little one to grab some Ice Cream and Coffee around 9:15 pm. While i was in the drive through, i asked to get No sugar added box of ice cream bars and a coffee and the girl who was taking the order asked if it;s alright if it takes 7 minutes and i said sure why not. 5 cars ahead of me and by the time i get to the window, it will take way more than 7 minutes. All of the sudden,a male goes on speaker and tells me that they don’t serve coffee at Dairy queen!! I said you don’t serve coffee and the girl just told me it takes 7 minutes. Then he came back on speaker and said they ran out of coffee. Of course i realized the lie and asked for his name, he disappeared for a moment and then i inquired his name and he said it in a fast way to make me give up and then didn’t answer me on speaker. I stayed in the car for 10 minutes until i reached the window and the girl looked at me and i said who is the manager? She called the same guy by the name Phillipe. I said i need to see him to get things straight. Phillipe came right to the windows and he said they are out of stock and don’t serve coffee at night! I said ohhh, so Dairy queen don’t serve coffee at night and you’re not out of stock. He said yes. I asked him is this the policy of Dairy queen and he said yes!! I asked him again and i said Dairy queen Corporate knows has this policy and he said that’s our policy. At that point i asked him who is the owner of this location on 32nd street and 13th Ave S in Fargo, and he refused to tell me and walked away leaving me on the window. I can’t describe how humiliated i felt talking to this low life garbage employee who thinks he can make his own rules without any supervision. It’s pretty sad to see Dairy Queen getting loose on their hire and training. As an owner of a local company, i will be sharing this information and response to all of my staff. I need to see the policy where Dairy queen won’t make a coffee after 9 pm according to Phillipe. Shame!

We booked this hotel because we were attending a wedding across the street. We checked in seamlessly (Yvonne was very friendly and the only positive part of our experience) and handed our ticket from the parking garage. Without any comment or mention of the $20/day charge, (we had no idea about it, we didn’t notice it posted anywhere and it was never mentioned to us upon booking or checking in) she took our ticket and gave us the room keys. First thing we did after walking into our room was adjust the thermostat. It was set to 70 and we turned it down to 67, following the instructions on the wall to cool the room. We left and attended the wedding, coming back about 6 hours later and the temperature had not adjusted at all. It actually went UP to 71 degrees. After messing around with it, pushing every button we could, we could never get it to work and sleeping in that heat was absolutely impossible and unbearable. The next morning we woke up to a bill slipped under our door for $20 parking. This was the first we heard of it. After speaking to everyone else in our wedding party who had already checked out, NO ONE ELSE was charged for parking in the garage. We were completely caught off guard. We went downstairs to check out and asked them about the bill and told them that we were never made aware of it and that we were the only ones of the wedding party to be charged and the man offered absolutely no help and simply referred us to his manager to get us out of his line. We explained the situation to the manager, after no greeting at all from her when we approached her at the desk. We also explained about our AC being faulty. We did not receive any apologies, not an ounce of care from either of these front desk workers. After speaking about the parking charge, in the most condescending tone ever, she said “So you don’t want to pay the parking charge, is that correct? Would that solve the problem?” Well, no, it doesn’t solve it because the other half of the problem was the fact that we weren’t able to get ANY sleep because of your broken AC (an issue that NEVER got addressed) and your horrible customer service has made me sure to never stay in another Hilton again. I’ll be advising anyone I know to do the same. They did waive the $20 parking charge, which still doesn’t make up for the overall uncomfortable stay we had.

**UPDATE 6/28/19** The shitty response I expected from a shitty hotel. I still can’t believe my husband and I paid $200 to stay in this piece of dump on a Saturday night. We were supposed to stay 3 nights but ended up checking out after just 1 night. Everything from check in to our room was awful. We arrived at 5:10pm and the clueless lady at the front desk told us they were completely booked and our room was not ready. When we asked her when it would be ready she told us she doesn’t know that it could be 30 minutes or an hour. She took down our number and told us she would call us when our room was ready. My husband and I went upstairs and he was so upset he said he wanted to come talk to the lady about our room not being ready. To our surprise we went back downstairs and asked another front desk lady, Lauren about our room. She told us our room had been ready and checked us in. We went upstairs to our ‘non smoking’ room on the 15th floor which turned out to be a smoking room they tried to cover up with cleaning products and spray. We called downstairs and they checked us into another room on the 7th floor. This room was better but never mind that the hotel is old, smelly and dingy. We even had blood stain on our lamp shade and spots on the wallpaper in the bathroom. Visitors beware DON’T stay in this piece of dump! The service is nonexistent and the building is very poorly maintained. Take yourself across the river to Margaritaville instead. I feel like we got completely ripped off by this super shitty place. STAY AWAY!!!

DoubleTree Resort by Hilton Hotel Lancaster – Menu with Prices – 2400 Willow Street Pike, Lancaster

I can tell you that the DoubleTree Resort By Hilton Lancaster is clearly not a place I care to ever stay in again. The place is really crazy like no other. It’s sort of a wedding party hangout. They have their own wedding chapel as well as an on call duty minister to preside over wedding ceremonies. And because it centers around an event area used for wedding parties, be sure to get an outside room or you’re going to be listening to wedding party music all night long. When I checked in and went to my room, I found out everything had been left unplugged. That includes the television, the lights & etc. along with other connective wiring that was beyond me. So, back up to the front desk, got the usual apologies, a ticket for a complimentary breakfast, but the buffet type, not the sit down service type, and a new room. My room was actually very nice but involved a lot of walking and elevator riding as I think I was on the first floor and the reception lobby area and restaurant area are on the second floor. Sounds weird, I know, but that is the arrangement. One of the miserable things is that my hallway always had clutter sitting around in it. Trays with leftover food and scrapes along with baby cribs and luggage carts. Worse, they didn’t seem to go away but remained for over a day, then only to be replaced by more.

Holiday Inn Miami Beach-Oceanfront – Menu with Prices – 4333 Collins Ave, Miami Beach

This Hotel is a very ran down. The room we stayed in had an issue with the air conditioner, the air conditioner leaked and did not cool the room. The temperature of the room varied from 75-78 degrees. Complained the first night, the complaint that was written down was the air conditioner is leaking. Maintenance came and put a wet vac blower on the carpet to dry, did nothing to correct the issue. After a late night on the town returned to a hot room and slept with the fan that was blowing on the floor into the room to be comfortable. Complained the next morning, at this time they said you can switch rooms, I said we have 5 suitcases, and four people by the time we repack to move we will have lost the day. (as this was the only day for the beach). I said can you have them to repair the a/c. At no time did they say, Sorry but the A/C is non-repairable. I approached the desk again and told them that when we returned from the beach, no one had come into the room, based on how we left the blower. They said sorry we will call maintenance, again, no information regarding the a/c not being repairable. the entire floor was hot as you stepped off the elevators. The last morning I went to say how disappointed we were being a SPIRE ELITE member with IHG, that this issue was not resolved. I asked how could they resolve this issue and they offered breakfast, we had buffet and one week later, upon checking my credit card, we were charged $76.20 for the breakfast that we ate at that hotel. I contacted IHG that contacted the manager, these crabs informed them that we were told that the A/C was not repairable and we choose to stay in a room that the temperatures were at 78 degrees. We have the pictures of the temperature that was showed to the desk. Let me ask, who in their right mind, would make a decision to stay in a room with a temperature of 78 degrees after being told the A/C was non repairable? This is such a poorly ran establishment, and the lack of compassion for the guest is unbelievable. I approached the front desk and straight to the face of the supervisor, I asked how can you tell IHG that we refused to move rooms after being told the A/C was non-repairable. She said you did refuse to move rooms, I said did you ever tell me the AC was non-repairable, she could not answer, just kept saying we offered you to move, we offered you to move. I understand they offered me to move, at no time did they say the ac was non-repairable. Angel the guy at the front desk, when I asked him, if he ever told me the AC was non-repairable, he said no mam, because it was after that we found that out. I said at least you are the only HONEST person at this desk.POORLY RAN BY MANAGEMENT AND POOR ESTABLISHMENT, I am still trying to get the $76.20 charge refunded to my C/C!

Holiday Inn Burbank-Media Center – Menu with Prices – 150 E Angeleno Ave, Burbank

Stayed here while taking a weekend for a Dodger/Yankee game – our first time in this area. We are IHG members and my husband chose this location because it’s very close to Burbank airport and Dodger Stadium. The hotel has a 24/7 shuttle – so if you fly into Burbank airport – just give them a call when you land and they’ll collect you at the shuttle stand – very convenient! We did not rent a car – so this is a big PLUS! The hotel is very nice! There are a lot of meeting spaces and a large lounge area and breakfast area. They have happy hour and karaoke – if that’s your sort of thing. The breakfast buffet is pricey at about $20/person but has a nice selection! The fruit was perfect and the staff are friendly and extremely attentive! I have to mention that we ordered room service late on a Sunday – BLT wrap w/fries, buffalo wings and chicken tenders – and this food was WAY BETTER than most of the surrounding places we walked to for lunch/dinner while we were here! Food was fresh and delicious! The wait time was probably about 10-15 minutes, including delivery time to our door! The room we stayed in was very big with a refrigerator, microwave and large sitting area. Super comfy beds and LOVE the pillows! I got VERY good sleep here! The gift shop has SMART Water in the gift shop that is vapor distilled and can be used for your CPAP machines!! The surrounding area has a lot of restaurants, shops and a movie theater. There is a shopping mall fairly close by – about 15min walk. Closest drug store is about a mile away (for those of you who like to buy bottled water, drinks or snacks for the room). If we are ever in town again for a game or to do some tourist things (Universal Studios/Warner Bros or another game) – I would HIGHLY recommend this location!

L.A. Banquets – Glenoaks Ballroom – Menu with Prices – 1320 W Glenoaks Blvd, Glendale

So so so so so amazing!! I couldn’t have asked for a better night! It really blew us away to know that was our wedding. Your staff are amazing and everything surpassed perfect! Our guest felt appreciated and and were highly taken care of. Haik listened to all my wants and need and never hesitated on reassuring everything was going to be great. Lol He pretty much said yes to everything and even through in extra accommodating things to help our wedding become a memorable moment! Everything we asked of him, he got it done, no problem at all! The food was AMAZING ! to be honest , I had low expectations on wedding food in general , but Haik reassured me the food tasting would give us assurance. When we made it to our food tasting so much dood to choose from, not only that, it blew us away with how tasteful everything was! We didn’t expect it to be that good at all, by the time we went back to our hotel, we realized we still wanted to go back there and we at for dinner lol. All in all, the food was definitely one of the biggest hits for ourselves as well as our guest. Haik is nonetheless one of the best vendors I’ve worked with. Very accommodating, great professional attitude ; and very very kind. He’s a pro at what he does. And he and his staff work very well together! I applaud the hard work I’ve seen leading up to the wedding, and the day of was even better than my wildest dreams! I’m impressed and if I could do it all over again, this place literally stole my heart ! Thank you so much Haik!! You definitely exceeded our expectations !!!

Sand Dunes Resort – Oceanfront Myrtle Beach Lodging – Menu with Prices – 201 74th Ave N, Myrtle Beach

Worst resort stay ever!!!!! Negative rating! To the guy that loved it, take the rooms no one wants because you’re the rarity here! This place is outdated, dirty, I had African American hairs on my sheets upon arrival. I’m not African American and neither is my party. The staff are less then helpful with any situation. They will not even accommodate you if you have a medical condition. The beds are smaller then advertised. Not queens but full beds. When you request additional pillows due to the horrible beds to help align your spine-as I have a pinched nerve in my neck and herniated disc in my back. They refuse saying they have a policy not to give extra. That each room is owned by individual owners per a timeshare. But when you ask for extra blankets instead to assist you in your sleep you still won’t get them till after you complain 4 times. Then while you trying not to dwell on the horrible hotel and how bad your back hurts from your stay and lack of sleep at that point. The housekeeping steals all your money from your room. So down to the desk and they say they can’t help. So security comes, says he doesn’t work for the resort and housekeeping doesn’t either so I can call the police if I want. So the police come and they don’t even have you fill out a report. They write it on a piece of paper and say you’ll never get your money and victim blame. My husband tried to use the safe and could not get it to work. They didn’t leave toilet paper and I had to ask several times. Trying to get towels was a serious issue as well. The cops were there three time that same day that I seen. The cop told me the first visit was for vandalism to a car in the parking lot. I hear many complaints in the elevators and in the hallways. And I’ve connected with others on the company website with similar complaints as mine. The manger Kyle Anderson was of no help in trying to resolve the issues. He was wanting housekeeping to come back in my room again. I flat out refused for anyone to be allowed in my room after my things were rummaged through and money and items stolen. Two days later my bank card and my credit care were being used. I called the police office and had to leave a message with dispatch and still waiting for a return call to add this to my report. I tried to get a refund as the place was dirty, not as advertised, would not accommodate my medical needs, and is an unsafe place to stay with theft and vandalism occurring. We left early but they would not refund our money.

Paisano’s Italian @ Pechanga Resort & Casino – Menu with Prices – 45000 Pechanga Pkwy, Temecula

This was the trip that was supposed to make up for the horrible trip we had in December. To recap we booked a weekend here because we had tickets for Trevor Noah and itâ??s over 2 hours from our home. The show was postponed due to Trevor losing his voice but we decided to keep our reservations as a getaway. First, we sat in valet for 40 minutes and almost missed our dinner reservation, then the check in person didnâ??t give us proper instructions on how to find our room so we wandered between floors for another 15 minutes after receiving misdirections from a service worker on the conference room floor. Finally, they have us a handicap room though that wasnâ??t requested so we had a shower instead of a tub which was the main feature of the room. So I emailed management and told them we were coming back in May for the show reschedule. She assured me it would be better. Nope! We supposedly received an discount but since they donâ??t email you confirmation I didnâ??t know what she requested. I told her I wanted the same room as we had (corner suite) because my significant other is very tall and we needed a king bed. I get an email three days before the trip and itâ??s a spa studio which they considered an upgrade and itâ??s a queen bed. I couldnâ??t change it because the hotel was full. His feet are hanging off of the bed and he has to sleep practically in the fetal position. This is the smallest queen Ive ever seen. We made a spa reservation for a daybed, got to the spa and checked in to the line that wasnâ??t marked for a cabana and told them we were checking in for a daybed. He looked up our info and gave us wristbands and towels. He never told us which daybed so we set up at regular chairs until it occurred to me something didnâ??t quite feel worth the money we were spending so I asked someone. I had to then go back to the desk to return the sunscreen I purchased since the proper reservation comes with a sun are bag which we werenâ??t given and also close our account for the daybed. I had to wait there for 20 minutes because despite having 2 registers two people couldnâ??t be in the system st the same time even though itâ??s 2019 and cars are electric ð?¤·ð?½â?â??? I finally spoke to an admin and they decided to waive our drink minimum which didnâ??t matter because we didnâ??t $100 on drinking anyway. Itâ??s a nice resort but I feel like if youâ??re not a club member the guest service is completely absent. This place makes $200M a year and is here as a legacy for the pechanga tribe was was displaced from the Temmescu Valley, there should be more ppride here.

DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Modesto – Menu with Prices – 1150 9th St, Modesto

The worst hotel experience I have ever had in my life. They allow smoking directly in the pool and spa recreation area. We stayed on the 9th floor and the smoke made it up to our room despite having the windows closed (they leaked, seals are worn). I escalated my concern and the staff sent a maintenance worker up to my room for a consult. The maintenance man was very empathetic and he listened very carefully to what I explained to him. He offered to tape up the window frame to prevent the smoke from coming in, which actually helped to mitigate the smoke issue. Front office manager “Tammie” sent an apology card to the room along with some vouchers for free breakfast and removal of valet parking charges to help make up for the negative experience. Unfortunately, she didn’t state what she planned to do to resolve the issue long term for future guests. Second issue I had was with an alarm in the adjoining room that kept running for extended periods during the day and at 6:20am on Saturday morning. I called the front desk to report the issue and they sent someone up very quickly to check it out both times. After knocks on the door and multiple phone calls on Saturday morning, the alarm finally stopped running after an additional 20 minutes. I stopped by the front desk later in the morning and asked Johannes to please see if the manager could talk with that guest during the day to see if he could refrain from letting the alarm run continuously unattended. I also stopped by the front desk again at 10:30pm before retiring for the evening and asked a female clerk to confirm that the manager talked with the guest next door to me. What I received was a major attitude from the clerk, with her stating they couldn’t do anything, that it was my problem, and if I wanted to change rooms, they could see if that option was available. So it turns out that I was the problem, and ensuring the comfort of my stay was not important or considered. I headed up to my room with my wife, and we got to enjoy loud talking and noise from the television from the same problem room next door. We didn’t bother calling down to report it to the front desk because we already knew they didn’t care that we weren’t able to sleep properly for the past few nights due to noise issues related to that room. There is a door between both rooms and lots of sound was coming through, and despite taping up the gaps along the door, we were still able to hear the folks next door all night. The TV was never turned off, as we heard it all night long and into the morning. We’ve stayed at DoubleTree hotels in Del Mar and in Universal City and we never had problems like we had during our four day stay here. I will be calling the head office this week to make sure that they are aware of how terrible this hotel is being managed. It is such a shame to be treated so badly. If I wanted this level of service, I could have just stayed at Travel Lodge or Motel 6. Do not consider staying at this poor excuse of a hotel.
