Certified Kitchen is truly a superb addition to the Hyde Park strip. I have been a regular in the area for a few years now, and can say with certainty that Certified offers a clean, fresh and creative experience to anyone looking for great food, atmosphere and coffee. The staff is very welcoming and on point, they are ready to help and know their product from A to Z. It’s nice to see that people are always on task and their activity sets an engaging atmosphere where while you may be sitting down, there is a sense of enthusiasm around that maintains an overall positivity in the air. The place is not loud, but it isn’t eerily quiet. White canopy, white walls, white aprons provide a sense of serenity and stillness that lend priority to the beautiful presentation and colors of the foods as well as the wonderful smell of coffee and and baked offerings. To contrast the immense minimalist feel of the white theme, little hints of a beautifully bright orange play with your eyes, poking out of the staff’s aprons, packaging, and overall branding. Well played–it is a way to stand out but not distract me from my coffee and bran muffin. Their use of a local coffee provider shows their commitment to support local industry, which is a great touch. So far in all of Boise, I can report with confidence that Certified makes the best cappuccino in town, they keep it simple and true to the Italian roots. Their food is wonderfully made. It is fresh, well seasoned and creative. They have a delicious pulled pork sandwich! I have the honor of knowing the talented and hardworking team of owners that run Certified, they are professional people who go the extra mile to provide their customers with the most delightful experience possible at every turn. Their attention to detail is as admirable as their approachability. If you happen to frequent The Wylder, you will feel just as welcomed and satisfied with your experience here as you would at the Wylder, another wonderful concept by these guys. So go on, take yourself to Certified Kitchen, you won’t be disappointed! (Try the cappuccino)

Honeybee Sweetery Bakery & Cafeteria – Menu with Prices – 8501, 3007 W Commercial Blvd unit 101, Fort Lauderdale

Honeybee Sweetery exceeded my expectations. By far one of the cutest cafes I have ever been to. The atmosphere makes you feel as though you are in another country. I come here during my break to relax and I feel very calm when I am there. I always have a pressed sandwich along with a tasty cappuccino. Everything I have tried is delicious and made with love. The owner is very sweet and genuine. She exceeds when it comes to customer service. She makes you feel welcomed and valued as a customer. There just aren’t wholesome places like this anymore. Support the locals.. You won’t be disappointed!

Enderly Coffee Company – Menu with Prices – 2620 Tuckaseegee Rd, Charlotte

Doing more than great coffee makes this place great in my eyes. Take a second to go to the website and read about the excellent community work they are doing in the area. I’ve visited Enderly Coffee company on my way through Charlotte onto South Carolina. I picked this coffee place because the website says they are barista and roaster our specialty coffee association certified. I ordered a cortada and compared to other Cortada as I’ve had that specialty coffee places around the country the cortado here is as good as it gets. The milk was silky and the espresso was balanced, sweet, and had just the right amount of richness. The barista was super nice, friendly, and engaging. You can tell he loved his job and put his heart into his work and giving the customer a good experience. Enderly and I was a variety of whole bean coffee and equipment to brew your coffee at home. The atmosphere was upbeat and suitable for most occasions. With the extra patio space there will always be plenty of room for your group of friends, family, or a date. Families with kids and strollers can find lots of room and toys to keep your little ones busy.

Ntaba Coffee Haus – Menu with Prices – 2407 Brownsboro Rd, Louisville

Ntaba is a South African Coffee shop and South African market in the Clifton neighborhood with AMAZING coffee and a great atmosphere. My husband and I live in the neighborhood and love walking here with our kids for their freshly roasted African coffee. The owner is almost always in the store and available to answer any questions. He is so friendly and always eager to tell you all about his selection of fresh green coffee beans that he roasts in house. You can clearly taste the quality of the coffee and the ingredients in every coffee, espresso and cappuccino. The coffee here is so much better than any other coffee shop I’ve ever been to. This is our new favorite spot! I DEFINITELY recommend you check this place out!

Well Grounded Cafe – Menu with Prices – 14517 Lima Rd, Fort Wayne

If you’re into supporting local businesses then this place is what you’re looking for. I’d much rather come to a place like this than the big chains. The counter lady was very friendly and helpful when I was ordering. Since she was slow on a Tuesday morning she came out to ask if I wanted a refill on my coffee. I’m also giving high ratings because I could drink from a REAL mug. The mug was pretty and just the right type (if that makes sense). It’s a small shop and with a few people would fill up quickly but when I was here it wasn’t that busy. I can’t speak to any fancy dance coffee drinks because I got straight black coffee. It was good, hot and smooth. She did tell me that they get their coffee from Old Crown (in Fort Wayne – also local). I’m a sucker for white sugar and white flour with lemon so the “Grammie” had my name written all over it. It’s like a dense pound cake with a fresh lemon glaze. It’s something great grandma made…I think I’d love her too if she baked things like this regularly. This place will see me again. They have a menu of breakfast sandwiches and lunch wraps and paninis. They’re open at 7 til 4.

Nova Espresso – Menu with Prices – 306 St Anthony St, Mobile

Nova Espresso is one of the cutest coffee shops that I’ve ever had the pleasure of visiting! Created out of love by an adorable young couple, this coffee shop is more than you run of the mill coffee spot. The owners have poured their passion to create this wonderful (and super cute) “third tier” coffee shop, with some creative & delicious coffee that is worth a try if you are ever in the Mobile area. Coffee shops can be intimidating to the non-coffee experts, but the staff & owners try to make everyone feel welcome as they are happy to answer any and every coffee question that visitors may have! My personal favorite is the iced bourbon maple coffee, seriously the best iced coffee that I’ve ever had – this is on a whole new level that Starbucks will never be able to beat. The menu features a unique array, but if you are unsure you can always describe what you’re looking for and they will prepare a drink that best suites you! They are also stocked with yummy pastries and sandwiches from Southern National! Give this local business some love if you haven’t already!

Kay Rico Coffee – Menu with Prices – 2728 Hollywood Blvd, Hollywood

What a wonderful experience I’ve had! I don’t even know where to start. Well…. you start by walking into the coffee shop and being greeted by one of their very well mannered employees. The coffee shop is a bundle of everything. The atmosphere feels so “homey” and welcoming. The shop is tight and clean from top to bottom, even on their busiest hours. You will always feel welcome to sit at the bar and have a conversation with the people who work behind the bar, or even the daily patrons that come to the shop. Everyone is so friendly, the people who come to drink their coffee regularly are so friendly. This place is a sit down, have a good conversation, and relax kind of place. You really don’t know who you will become friends with because everyone is so inviting. The food & coffee was immaculate. I ordered a Cubano and a tostada Cuban bread. So much flavor in the coffee. Sooooo much flavor. It was the right amount of coffee for a morning jump start. I’m excited to try more of their menu. Best experience I had was with the owner Dan. The owner does not only own the place, he also works there. His brother Tim is as well a great character. Dan will greet everyone by their first name along with their order. Even if you don’t buy anything! You will feel welcomed. The conversations to the welcoming staff, you will enjoy it from top to bottom. They also as well host events! From time to time! Went to their video game night! Greaaaaaaaaat time! You will enjoy everything about it!

Buon Pane Italiano ESPANOLA WAY – Menu with Prices – 1436 Washington Ave, Miami Beach

This place rocks. My wife and I were spending a few days pre-cruise just a block away and stumbled upon this small but incredible little bakery/coffee stop. I’ve never been much of a coffee or cappuccino drinker, but this place may have changed me forever. Outstanding cappuccino, and all of the bakery items were fresh and very tasty, especially the heated spinach and cheese pastry. The croissant was very fresh as well. Our barista/server was a really friendly and cool Italian gentlemen and was fun to chat with. Check this place out-you will not regret it. Can’t wait to try it for breakfast at every opportunity our next visit…

Mojo Coffee Menu with Prices 15256 E Hampden Ave, Aurora

A wonderful addition to the neighborhood! This is a coffee shop AND an Ethiopian grocer. While I know nothing about Ethiopian ingredients, they DO carry Injera so I am very happy (Injera is a soft, Ethiopian flatbread.) Mojo, the coffee shop – very modern, upscale look. Nice sitting area with a TV and comfy chairs, along with regular tables and chairs. Their coffee is from the Denver-based Kaladi coffee, as well as an Ethiopian roast. They make most drinks with Kaladi’s dark roast, I think that the Ethiopian is more of a medium roast and ordered for an espresso shot or cappuccino. BUT! I give Mojo a whole bunch o’ stars because they carry about 5 sugar-free syrups! Woo hoo! On my second visit (in three days) I ordered a drip coffee with sugar-free white chocolate and it was so good, and fairly guilt free! So, if you want a good cup of coffee, a great place to work with a wonderful atmosphere – come on over to the south side of the metro area and visit Mojo’s Coffee!

ZOLA bean leaf spice – Menu with Prices – Pomegranate Books, 4418 Park Ave, Wilmington

Zola is an adorable family-owned coffee house that really knows it’s way around a coffee bean. Having recently relocated from the west coast, I’ve been searching for my go-to local coffee house. I found it today. I walked into a cozy, yet modern atmosphere. The presence of hundreds of well-chosen books made it feel immediately like home. The coffee roaster reigns beautifully right in the middle of the space! Chatting with the owner, I discovered that that do fresh roasts in house every week. I ordered a double espresso to try their choice Ethiopian bean. Perfectly prepared. You can read about their current selection from a classy black board in the roasting area. I was surprised they were able to procure beans from an African farm that utilizes natural processing. This is extremely rare, even in the “organic” circuit. I also tried the coconut cayenne cappuccino because, well, who ever heard of such a thing? I was very impressed. Just a touch of cayenne to offset the sweetness of the coconut milk, which was stellar. And best of all, you could still taste the integrity of the espresso. It wasn’t drowned in sugar or syrups. Totally fresh ingredients! Highly recommend ?

Cove Yacht Club – Menu with Prices – 900 Broad Ave S, Naples

You must be a member or a hotel guest to visit the Chickee Bar at the Cove Inn. But if you are, it’s so worth it. The ladies behind the bar are wonderful and it’s just a local gem. Cindy, the owner, does so much for local charities down there and truly loves her place of work and employees. She used to be an employee and has dedicated her life to the Chickee. Also, everyone know everyone down there so you always feel welcome and can hear great stories of Naples from back in the day to now. Sorry for people who come down and rate this place poorly cause it’s members only or hotel guest but that’s what makes this place a local gem.

Kookaburra Coffee – Menu with Prices – 9414 W Central Ave, Wichita

After my second time visiting, I decided this place deserved a little attention. The first time I showed up with my girlfriend for the Wicked Brew Tour, and they had an amazing cappuccino! My girlfriend tried one of their house made sodas, which was probably the only soda I have ever had that I genuinely enjoyed. Owner was present and we got to chat with him for a bit, and he is a very nice man! We also shared their pecan coffee cake, and dear God. If pecan pie and coffee cake could reproduce, this is what it tasted like. Absolutely wonderful! I’m currently sitting here with my second experience. I ordered a regular coffee and a burrito. Usually I’m a bit adversed to breakfast burritos, which usually have soggy tortillas or mismatched hunks of whatever is inside. The sausage was delightfully scattered throughout the eggs, and they TOAST THE TORTILLA in a press so it’s nice and crunchy. Sure it’s simple and to the point, but for $3.50 I’m full and very happy. I also got to see the owner once again at his stall at Taco Fest, and it was great to see the shop getting involved in local activities. I used to visit Leslie’s for my Saturday coffee, but I think Kookaburra might be my new favorite coffee spot from now on.

The 86 (Uptown) – Menu with Prices – 2900 Jefferson Ave, Cincinnati

Won’t find a more hospitable place to sit and have a cup of coffee. The message and story of how the 86 came to be is itself heartwarming. And if that doesn’t make you feel warm inside the coffee definitely will. A great hidden gem of Cincinnati. Coffee/Food: I tend to just have coffee drinks at a coffee places rather than baked goods but I tried the recommendation of the banana bread and it tasted good. However, a coffee place is only as good as it’s drip coffee and this place has great coffee. To not drink it black is to mask the experience of great coffee. The lattes, smoothies, Italian sodas, and chai drinks are simply great and for a fair price. Service: Simply the best. Other coffee places should learn from their hospitality. A very welcoming bunch of workers. And many of those workers are actually volunteers! They even serve free pancakes on Wednesday mornings! They really stand out in terms of service for their community. Facility: Fantastic atmosphere. They hang up local artist’s work around their coffee place. The music is inviting and welcomes you to the warm atmosphere. There is plenty of seating both downstairs and upstairs. It is located right by the UC, so if you are a student wanting to find a place to study then look no further. PLUS, you can occasionally watch and smell the roasters actually roast the coffee beans on the first floor! Seriously, this place has the best atmosphere.
