In ATX for the weekend, wanted to explore a bit. Willow & Co was a quick walk from my hotel and had great options! I got the Protein Greens smoothie which had amazing texture and a great subtle pb flavor. Also had the Smash Toast, which is an amazing combo of cream cheese, honey, blackberries, + pistachios. A clean, fun, chill place to hang and study while enjoying high quality food!! They’ve got to-go options if you need to grab something, but the craftsmanship is quick and high quality. Great little smoothie + healthy shop! And for a good price compared to some other places.

Emerald City Smoothie Menu with Prices 221 Bellevue Way NE, Bellevue

We came here to get a smoothie, as Emerald City Smoothie recently relocated to Park Row in downtown Bellevue. Glad to have it in the area, as it provides healthier smoothies than any other smoothie spot around. We ordered a 32oz. Mango Berry smoothie to share, which is a good size for doing so. There’s also a 24oz. size option. In addition to smoothies, which you can customize to your liking, they offer acai bowls and other health products like supplements, protein powder, pre-workout mixes, etc… There was only one employee working on a Thursday late afternoon when we visited, so service was slow since there were a few customers waiting to get their smoothie. The shop here though is much better than its former downtown Bellevue location, offering more space, which allows for customers to hang out on the couch or at other seating options. I’m a fan of Emerald City Smoothie, so am glad they’ve reopened in downtown Bellevue. There are lots of healthy options here for smoothies, with some including whey protein or boosters. I like that you can customize any of the smoothies, to whatever fruit flavor, boosters, milk options, etc…you desire.

Tropical Smoothie Cafe – Menu with Prices – 2380 Lifestyle Way Suite 140, Chattanooga

Healthy smoothies and healthy food… ahhh yes, please. Got to go to tropical smoothie on their opening day and was really happy and surprised by their quality and selection of food options. Really convenient to park especially because they’re one of the first businesses to open in a brand new center. I had a Cali Chicken Flatbread and a Chia Banana strawberry smoothie. Both of them were great and I definitely recommend them. I’m really glad that Tropical Smoothie has come to Chattanooga as I’ve heard lots about them from other people and glad to have an awesome healthier option that is so close to the highway!

Tropical Smoothie Cafe – Menu with Prices – 9524 Antioch Rd, Overland Park

This spot has been several things just in the decade I’ve lived behind the shopping center. I really hope this one sticks. I have been scoping out the more local healthy spots recently in preparation for the “lose weight” New Years resolution. I am super stoked that within walking distance of most of my favorite donut shops, there is now a smoothie bar. I ordered the orange ginger smoothie for some pep and I was not disappointed. One sip and my eyebrows went straight up towards my hairline. The smoothie should be renamed to Hello Ginger! But I love ginger and the ginger is why I wanted it (recent joint pain). So I am super pleased with my choice. The ladies working the counter were super nice, super fast, and my favorite part: they cleaned as they went. Nothing speaks more to my senses than people who know clean as they go. And smoothies especially because once smoothie debris starts to dry, it congeals like glue. The place still feels new so keep encouraging people to clean as they go otherwise the spiffy newness will go away real fast. I don’t want my healthy options to not feel so healthy anymore. If the restaurant and employees are not clean, then I have no reason to believe the ingredients are fresh. So…keep it up and I’ll see y’all soon!

Cafe Red Point – Menu with Prices – 2727 N Cascade Ave #175, Colorado Springs

Great quality foods. Their mean green machine smoothie is simply amazing! ð??? Their menu is health conscious, gluten free and paleo friendly with local and organic ingredients. It’s fresh! This is my new favorite place in the Springs to grab a smoothie or a quick and healthy breakfast or lunch. I will definitely revisit. I 100% recommend giving this place a try. They’re also very reasonably priced. With the quality, the nutritional value, the fresh organic ingredients and supporting local and it’s affordable this place is simply phenomenal I wish I could give it to the first!

I Love Juice Bar – Murfreesboro – Menu with Prices – 804 N Thompson Ln #1j, Murfreesboro

I’m SO HAPPY that a place like this exists in Murfreesboro. Excellent juices and smoothies and even better selection of light healthy dishes, including açaí bowls, spring rolls, and soups. In an area full of fast food and nutrient-poor dining selections, this place is fucking Mecca. Came in today with my fiancé, and we were not disappointed. Staff was incredibly friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. Property is clean, bright, and colorful. I could easily come back here to study/work on my laptop because of the chill atmosphere. They have wifi! Now for the most important details: the food! We had the Orange You Glad juice, Coffee Janet Smoothie, Spring Rolls, and Red Lentil soup. Everything was fresh and yummy. I particularly enjoyed the smoothie (Wowza!), but I could and would order any of these items again. Thank you Juice Bar for making my life in TN a healthier and happier one. I salute you!

Antojos & Shakes – Menu with Prices – 2627 W Division St, Chicago

cute little café with free wifi and lots of options for a quick bite….we stopped here for dessert after lunch at a close by restaurant. My son was disappointed with lack of dessert variety andhe settled for a strawberry cheesecake muffin and I got an ice-cream bar . We were unable to finish either but the place is clean and good if students want to hang out and study.

Coffman Memorial Union – Menu with Prices – 300 Washington Ave SE, Minneapolis

As a student at the University of Minnesota, Coffman Memorial Union is a fun place to go grab a bite to eat, hang out, or meet up with friends. On the bottom floor there is bowling ally, and places to study and on the next floor up you can find the cafeteria with food options like Chick-fil-A, Einsteins, and Panda Express. Up another floor you find comfortable chairs (some of them kinda old and falling apart) and fire places that are a nice touch especially during the winter. Every now and then you may be serenaded by a fellow student playing the piano right around the corner from the fireplace. One the upper floors there are larger rooms for student group meetings and activities. You can also find a movie theater and the student store with all the golden gopher gear you need to show your school spirit. Overall it’s a great place to hang out and enjoy the student spirit, however if you are trying to study, a library may be a better bet for you.

Sweetberry Virginia Beach – Menu with Prices – 3376 Princess Anne Rd Suite 205, Virginia Beach

I wanted to take the time to update my previous review to this location. Since then I have visited a few times and I must say that I am truly enjoying this addition to Hampton Roads. My last few experiences have been pleasurable. Parking right in front can be a bit challenging but there is plenty of parking writhing walking distance I am promptly greeted upon entry which always makes you feel warm and welcomed. The vibrant colors of bold green and bright pink delightfully adorn the walls of this hip and modern smoothie shop. Not only do they serve smoothie bowl but poke bowls as well. The pre crafted bowl combinations are well thought out but for those feeling a bit particular on what they want in their bowls, personal customization is available. Skies the limit on the many bowl combinations. Topping galore! And you know how we helpers love options! There is always ample seating available and the bathrooms are clean and spacious. You all know I’m a stickler for clean johns . I love the fresh fruit and the vibrant colors in my smoothie bowls. Not only are they pretty to the eye but taste very good. I like that the actual smoothie holds up well even in immense heat and doesn’t melt and become soupy to quickly. They have thee perfect consistency. I appreciate this more than you’ll ever know They also have a rewards program in effect that everyone should take advantage of. Sign up for promotions and discounts Overall I recommend this smoothie/ bowl shop!

Tropical Smoothie Cafe – Menu with Prices – 403 N Stadium Blvd Suite 102, Columbia

I had the opportunity to try food from Tropical Smoothie Cafe through a work meeting. I didnâ??t get to visit the brick and mortar location but did order and enjoy food that was brought to my place of employment.I was impressed by the numbers of choices that were available, food and smoothie-wise. Iâ??m not one to usually visit a smoothie shop but based on the feedback of my coworkers, I was willing to try it and was pleasantly surprised. At first glance, I wouldnâ??t have expected there to be much in the way of food (mainly just smoothies). There is a wide variety of different foods, ranging from healthy to unhealthy. There are quesadillas, wraps, bowls, sandwiches, kids meals, and even some breakfast options. The smoothie choices are even more vast, with dozens of different kinds as bases with multiple options for add-ins. They have supplement add-ins as well. I ended up ordering the Caribbean Jerk Chicken Bowl and the Chia Banana Boost smoothie with peanut butter. Both were delicious and filling.Overall, I would consider coming here again, especially if I wanted to stick with healthier food options.

Albina Press – Menu with Prices – 4637 N Albina Ave, Portland

Great coffee shop! I’m always on the hunt for a good place to study as a graduate student. This place is one of my go to places to study. Prices are reasonable, not too loud, and lots of natural lighting, parking, and outlet access. Their menu is pretty simple and they do have tea pots. I usually get their chai latte. They don’t have any actual meals on the menu, but they do have pastries (cookies, muffins etc). There’s several tables here and lots of comfortable sofas. They have 4 sofas which is amazing! It might be hard to get tables next to outlets or even table seating when it gets crowded. I usually would just chill on the sofas until a table becomes free. Overall great place to chill out to get some work done or catch up with some friends. Joanne’s cafe rating for studying: Seating: 3.5/5 Wish there was more seating and bigger tables. Most of the tables are pretty small (2 seat table) and a couple of bigger tables (3 seat table). Comfortable sofas! Outlets: 3/5 Some outlets along the side of the wall. There are outlets next to the high table window seating and in the back room with the sofas. Parking: 4/5 There is free street parking for several hours. It is close to some neighborhoods so I think you can get some free parking a little further. There is also a small lot for parking. Lighting: 4/5 Pretty bright which is great for studying. Lots of natural lighting in the front room. It is darker in the backroom with the sofas. Price: 4/5 Pretty reasonable. Noise: 4/5 Not too loud and they play some pretty chill music. It can get a little loud when there are big groups of ppl chatting. Most ppl come here to get work done. Menu: 3/5 It would be better if they have sandwiches or meal items. Hours: 4/5 Great! Closes later than most coffee shops in Portland so you can get more hours of studying in the day.

JuiceBar Juice – Menu with Prices – Norfolk

The JuiceBar is on the right corner of the student recreation center (SRC) once you enter the facility. Most of my classes are in the SRC so majority of my time at ODU is in this building. I normally chill in the seating area in front of the bar in between classes. There’s not a whole lot of seating but the couches are pretty comfy lol. I’ve gotten a smoothie here only twice and it was the Sweet Greens (mango, pineapple, banana, spinach and kale) both times. I get this simply because it has the greens nah mean? The smoothie was not bad, tasted a little too sugary for me but it was bearable. They also have a fridge with others drinks and some snacks like cliff bars and chips. I think it’s pretty cool that ODU planted a JuiceBar in the gym. It’s pretty convenient for students and dem gym rats to grab a protein shake or something fueling before or after their workout. At least we know that this school promotes healthy eating (healthy snacking rather). There’s not much good or bad I can say but definitely skip the Tropical Smoothie on campus and walk to the JuiceBar. It’s worth the walk..

HomeTown Buffet – Menu with Prices – 3520 W Carson St, Torrance

This place is great! First of all, the surprisingly good food quality, selection, and options make it a great place for family night, date night, or any night! And the staff at the Torrance location are equally as amazing! Always courteous and helpful, tables and dining rooms are kept clean at all times, and the foods are constantly being refreshed. There are almost always coupons available for lunch or dinner too that make it all the more affordable. There is a great salad bar that has healthy options for those who are trying to stick with healthier options. There is a also a great dessert selection with many choices. This place is kid and family friendly, and can accommodate large parties. Overall, it’s a great place to come and enjoy different kinds of food, all at a great price. I would recommend this specific location to anyone in the area or visiting the mall. My wife and I come here often we were are in the area and want a little bit of healthy for dinner or lunch. The wait time is usually quite small and the team works hard to get everyone through the line and seated. There is a ton of seating and a private room in the back for large parties. There are many options for drinks and coffee as well. Overall, you cannot go wrong here. My wife does the ketogenic diet and is able to make healthy choices here while I indulge and partake in many carbohydrate dense meals. Come one, come all!
