Wee Care is a great learning center for children from birth to age 10. Infants are loved and nurtured, toddlers have a spacious room to explore and enjoy and preschoolers learn and play in classrooms that are equipped just for them!

Lost In Fun! – Menu with Prices – 8431 Cody Dr, Lincoln

I don’t know where to begin with this place. The ideas to have an indoor play area is great! Amazing even for Nebraska winters and cold rainy nights. The huge downfall is the staff is a crew of older teenagers. No rules are enforced at all. You walk in and the first thing you see is a ticket cash out counter full of cheapo prizes. If you go past that you see the menu (pizza/drinks) and this is also where you pay your admission fee. 1 year olds 3.75 2-5 year olds 6.70 I didn’t pay attention to older kids prices. The five and under area would be spectacular if it was in fact five and under. Older children do as they please and no staff interfere or say anything. Young adults riding the 5 and under toy cars, it’s absolutely ridiculous. There’s also no where to sit to supervise children in this area either as it states you must do so. My toddler loved the ball pit area with slide. It is posted everywhere that you must wear socks but no shoes. Socks are available for purchase for $1.75 but the rule isn’t enforced as children play freely with no socks. Foam pit area is dark and lit by black light. No where to sit to watch small toddlers who do need help getting out. Adults buried in the foam pit throwing pieces around hitting others in the face, setting a poor example for young children. The dark room is for This area because it has a video game projected onto the floor. Kids can step on toads for points, play soccer and race the clock type games. Constant movement. A big plus for an active toddler. It is a great idea but the end result is poor. This place is like an unsupervised daycare on steroids. I would not choose to return here.

Education Station Cafe – Menu with Prices – Eugene

I can not say enough wonderful things about the Education Station. I have three children – 1 in college, 1 about to go to college and 1 in high school We started with infant care and stayed for summer and school vacation camp. Why am I writing a review now? Because when we became an Education Station family in 1998 – (yes 20 years ago!)- there were no reviews, no ratings, no on-line photos. Just a feeling that these people genuinely cared about our family. We had to enroll on instinct – but I am here to attest two decades later that those babies/toddlers/pre-school kids were more than prepared for elementary school and have turned into incredible adults – smart, curious, funny, and kind. Traits that were nurtured and encouraged by their caretakers at the Education Station. We are so grateful for all they taught us (special shout out to Donna for getting all 3 out of diapers, and drinking from a cup!) and creating a second home for them. While choosing child care is one if the hardest things a working parent can do – rest assured that the Education Station isn’t just interested in providing a safe place for you child but an environment where they will thrive and create wonderful childhood memories.

The Children?s Museum of the Upstate – Menu with Prices – 300 College St, Greenville

There are so many activities to partake in, we just had to do them all!!! ?? Had a blast with my babygirl, and will definitely come back for a visit. I like that they had special areas for toddlers to play in also, although my daughter was too old for them, it was nice to see them have something fun for all ages. I love how they make education fun, in activities you can participate in. Hands on is the coolest way to learn, in my opinion. Check this place out, if you happen to have $20-$30 to spend on a fun, all day educational activity. ð??

The Hidden Spot – Menu with Prices – 2323 32 Ave NE #125, Calgary

This place was amazing I did play pool while I was there and was pleased to find the tables were of high quality. Also pleased to learn there are many masters and a few pro’s that play here. Anyone looking to learn how to play pool this would be the perfect place to start. Even the staff was very pleasant to speak with and acomadating as I had showed up 30 mins before closing time ( love that song closing time lol ) and she allowed me to play while she worked on closing, it had been a long night for her because it was the finals night for there league’s and I am sure she just wanted to go home and not serve anymore costumers. If I lived in Calgary I would frequently go to this place.

South Norfolk Memorial Library – Menu with Prices – 801 Poindexter St, Chesapeake

The library itself is highly functional with exceptional modern day resources. The staff have been helpful and curtious, however a few members of the children resource center team have the tendency to deter parents with children by allowing older children to vicariously prance and frolic especially with the Dell Computers in between the hours of 4-7pm. I recommend, for maximum quiet hours, going from 10am to 3pm, just after shift change and lunch. Also, i do not recommend requesting day passes from librarians in the childrens resource center due to potential risk factors (attitudes that may cause negative responses) and falsely suspended accounts that have credits on them. 4/5 stars.

Imagination Station – Menu with Prices – 1 Discovery Way, Toledo

I love imagination station! I had 5 kids ranging from 1.5-6, visited on Saturday when surprisingly they have 2 kids free with an adult and children under 2 free. Parking was just one block away which is actually fun to walk over to the riverside! I love giving the kids the idea weâ??re in the â??cityâ? which we are but we play up their imaginations it definitely make the trips more fun! Either way for under $30 we played in the little kids section which is amazing for our age group! Huge tree to climb, so much imaginative play areas from a ambulance and a hospital, a grocery store, fire truck, a huge water area over looking the river with wall to wall windows with a great view! For living in Toledo my whole life this gives me a big city adventure with a small price thatâ??s close to home! There is many things to do there but for small kids to be closed off in a great play area is enough for us! There is also a smaller baby sensory area where they can crawl around thatâ??s not with the bigger kids but parents with the older children can still watch the big kids while playing with the little ones! Hope this helps some moms visiting Toledo! Enjoy

Northwell Health-GoHealth Urgent Care – Menu with Prices – 1445 Richmond Ave Store E, Staten Island

This “URGENT CARE CENTER” refuses to give someone medical care if they have been in a car accident and have not yet filed a claim with their car insurance company. I went there a few hours after I had gotten into a car accident. I had been rear ended and was starting to have neck and back pain. I just wanted to get an xray to make sure that there wasn’t a serious injury or anything broken as our local emergency room already had a 3 hour wait. When I went into this particular urgent care center I was told that because I told them what I was feeling was due to a car accident I would have to provide both a claim number and a policy number for my insurance. I explained that I did not have a claim number because I was told to wait until I had a police report to enter a claim and I would not be able to get one until the following day. I asked if this was standard practice and the person behind the station said it was at northwell and if I really needed help I could try the emergency room. I called to another northwell urgent care and they confirmed this outrageous policy. I couldn’t believe they would not even let me speak with an actual medical professional. I then called a different urgent care company and explained to them that I had not yet filed a claim because my police report would not be available until the next day. The person I spoke with said that particular urgent care center would absolutely help me and I had 7 business days to provide my claim information or I would get billed. Absolutely logical. Northwell GoHealth Urgent Care does not care about the people that go to them for help.

Mikado Supreme Buffet – Menu with Prices – 2501 S Campbell Ave, Springfield

Owners and waiters are the rudest people, my daughter has some medical conditions that makes her grow faster then other girls her age. We proceed to tell them 2 adults and 3 girls under 12 years old. She seated us and began to tell us my daughter was older and to produce a birth certificate. Who caress that around with them. She changed all of our children to adult and used foul language in front of my children and called my eldest daughter retard . I’ve never been so abused mentally. While I was paying she called cops on us cops came and said she said we were disrupting other customers which we weren’t. So police asked a couple customers and they said we never raised our voice or anything to make police called. Do your self a favor and stay a way from these people or business.

John R. Oishei Children’s Hospital – Menu with Prices – 818 Ellicott St, Buffalo

After a perfectly healthy pregnancy and a planned home birth I ended up needing to be transferred to Oishei because there was meconium and some swelling issues. I had a successful forceps delivery and my daughter was then transferred to the NICU with my partner for some breathing issues. Once at the NICU the resident on call mentioned to my partner a cooling treatment they might want to do on my daughter but he was being rushed out of the room (so they could take care of her breathing issue) and he told the doctor he definitely did not want her to do anything without consulting him. She said she would get back to him with more information about it after they finished dealing with the breathing issue. After almost an hour when I was finally done and he and I were allowed back in the room we found our daughter already covered in EEG wires, and on a cooling pad. Not only did they not get our consent when we specifically asked for it but it ends up our daughter didnâ??t even meet the criteria for the cooling treatment. When this was brought up to the resident she made it clear that she had made huge incorrect assumptions about our daughters health based solely on the fact that we planned a home birth and had a midwife. This happened OVER AND OVER AGAIN throughout our stay in the NICU. We expressed our horror with the staff over their disregard and apparent prejudice against us and asked them to communicate with us about everything they wanted to do to our daughter but they continued not communicating about new procedures and tried to blame our midwife for manipulating us into disagreeing with them. We have filed a complaint with the board of health and are doing everything we can to prevent this kind of prejudice for future patients.

Dayton Ballroom Dance Club – Menu with Prices – 2150 Arbor Blvd, Dayton

This is the best place to take Ballroom dance classes! The instructors are patient and helpful. They making learning fun! You don’t have to have a partner to take lessons. There are always just enough people to fill in as your “partner”. During dance classes, you rotate partners. This gives you a chance to learn from each other. Those who are more advance in some of the dances are always willing to help teach the dance to you. Everyone has so much fun! It is great exercise too! My family has actually noticed I have lost some weight–all do to dancing! Come on out and try dancing with us! You won’t regret it! I will be looking for YOU on the dance room floor!

Ticket to Play Board Game Cafe – Menu with Prices – 5008 Commercial St SE, Salem

I honestly can’t say enough good things about Ticket to Play! Since Robin and Nathan opened TTP, it has become a bit of an obsession for us and our friends and it is our go-to for some relaxing weekend activity, especially as Oregon winter weather sets in. We are always welcomed and accommodated with open arms, the game selection is excellent, and the friendly company and conversation is the best! And seriously, the food here is super tasty–Nathan’s past experience as a chef certainly shows in the tasty array of salads, sandwiches, daily soup specials and flatbread pizzas they offer. Oh, and did I mention cheese plates? And that they serve Willamette Valley Pie company hand-pies? And have beer on tap? (Ah-hah! Now I have your attention!) So, not only do we love geeking out and playing board games for hours, it’s always a pleasure to be in the company of other people who do too. What truly makes TTP special is that the café is Nathan and Robin’s passion. They want to provide a wonderful, family-friendly service to the good folks of Salem where you can eat delicious food and play fun games in a safe and comfy environment with cool people. Nathan will happily give you a review of any game on the shelf or teach you how to play it if you’re new to gaming in general. And if you’re thinking about diving into the magical realm of board games by purchasing some for your own collection (my wallet just cringed a little!) TTP is a great way to “test drive” some of the games you’ve been eye-balling before you spend all that cash. Sure, Salem has Wild Things Games downtown where you can also go play (and don’t get me wrong, I love that shop and think it’s fantastic!) but TTP manages to provide a much more curated café and gaming experience whereas Wild Things is much more store-focused and gaming times are geared towards specific events such as Magic the Gathering and Pokémon tournaments. And that’s another thing I love about TTP…if you’re at a shop where you’re sitting around with a bunch of teenage boys playing Pokemon, it’s not really the vibe most of us adults are looking for on a Saturday night But going to TTP feels like playing from the comfort of home without having to do any of the cooking or dig out your extra folding chairs. Other things to note are: 1.)TTP loves kids and they manage to make it a great environment for people of all ages to enjoy gaming! While it’s not strictly a kiddie place where adults feel uncomfortable, there are lots of games for older kids as well as a play room for toddlers to keep everyone happy. This is a family-run place that encourages both families and non-parents alike to enjoy themselves here. 2.)They have great hours and are nice enough to be open as late as midnight (which is nice for us big kids if you want an evening out). And even though it can get crowded and hard to find a table on a Friday or Saturday night, you can always rent the private game room for a small extra fee where you can really settle into your favorite RPG! 3.)They have special events! Looking for a unique place to go to a paint party, attend a “Learn to Play” night or enjoy a fun and peaceful New Year’s Eve party? TTP is your venue! In short, TTP is the perfect and unique entertainment option you’re looking for when your friends say “I’m bored! Let’s do something different tonight!” They won’t be sorry if you take them to TTP–you’ll just get to say “You’re Welcome” for introducing them to a new obsession!

Missouri Spirits – Menu with Prices – 507 W Walnut St, Springfield

What a major find. Our party had two MSU students who knew nothing about this place. They’ve been to Springfield Brewery around the corner dozens of times, but they never paid attention to the nondescript gray box up the street. Wow, what a mistake. Missouri Spirits is incredible.First and foremost, this is a distillery and not a restaurant or bar. They make their own bourbon, corn whiskey, and vodka. Like a craft brewery, they have added a drinking room where they serve their products. An extensive drink menu has been assembled, and it’s awesome. While they have the three base spirits listed above, they have created several infused versions that have set for weeks and some cases months. The straight spirits and infused spirits are used to create a cornucopia of mixed drinks.What I loved the most about our visit was Ashley & Carl. They worked the bar. They knew their spirits inside and out. Sitting at the bar talking with them about each drink and infusion was wonderful. They often gave little tastes to support their claim. We tried several mixed drinks and straight samples over the course of the night. I really loved everything about it.The interior look of this place is great. The wide open room has gray walls, rough board tables, whiskey barrels, and a brick bar. Lights are strung here and there to give it character. You’ll love the look of this place.They do offer a bit of food. The handmade guacamole and chips were perfect for us. I think they have a sandwich offering, but I might be wrong.Carl and Ashely told us this place is very popular for events. Sometimes they have live music. When that happens it packs the place. This is a place to visit to learn and enjoy spirits. The employees are excited to share their knowledge. Ask lots of questions and they get more and more engaged as you explore their offerings.This place rocks!
