My experience is always the same! I get fast and friendly service with a smile and both lines were hanging out of the parking lot. My grandson and I enjoyed our meal. We talked with a few of the employees that were taking orders or scanning cards. I love showing him that a smile and a hello can go a looong way. I had him laughing bc as we were coming to pick up our order we saw the children playing inside and one lil cutie was waving. I gave him the biggest goofiest smiling wave and then all the kids started to waveð???…an avalanche of pure love. Try it! I promise you won’t regret it.

The Intersection – Menu with Prices – 100 Elmwood Ave, Buffalo

I think it is safe to say I have developed a serious addiction to this place. No really I kind of come here every other day… okay okay every day. But that’s okay because the customer service here is always awesome and your greeted by a warming smile and interesting conversation as soon as you walk in. Might I suggest conversing with the regulars and locals while you wait? Just say hi – they wont bite. And don’t worry the wait time feels like a minute or so and it’s totally worth it ya’know since your coffee is made fresh. They carry the pure sugar cane brand I love (YAY). But you’ll also see all types of stuff you can add to your coffee/tea if you want but I never really find myself needing to ever. I usually get my coffee to go. The artsy & opinionated atmosphere is infectious but listen to all of us when we say this place is SMALL. The neighborhood is filled with tons of food, murals, street performers (in the summer) and businesses anyway; so grab your drink and take a walk around Allentown. I’m a Honey Bell kind of girl through and through but I love the Mike Tyson Iced Coffee in the summer months, I’ll go for a Gold Rush when I want to switch it up. Will be back to try something new soon. My go-to coffee shop in the area.

Bosa Donuts – Menu with Prices – 3305 E Williams Field Rd, Gilbert

The counter girl was friendly but the other male guy working the counter was a real prick. After paying for my coffee and donuts (and tipping, which turned out to be a mistake I wont repeat if I ever return) I got to the creamer counter and the half and half was out. So I bring the canister up to the counter and Mr. Prick made it very clear he did not give a shit about me and put me off with an annoyed, “Hold on.” I waited a few minutes for him to acknowledge my presence and then gave him the creamer canister. He screwed open the lid, looked inside, rolled his eyes, looked at me and goes, “Um there’s creamer in here.” As if I am the biggest idiot on the planet. I peered inside and THERE WAS MAYBE ENOUGH CREAMER TO COVER THE BOTTOM OF THE CANISTER. THAT’S IT. That .still qualifies as out/empty/in need of a refill/whatever you want to call it. And for him to bitchily point this back in my face like I’m the asshole! So he wasted my time on a work morning and then gave me attitude. At this point I was done having anything more to do with him so I snatched back the creamer and sarcastically told him, “Thank you SO much for your help, that totally solves my problem,” and sloshed whatever was left of the creamer at, not in, my coffee. Some of it even made it in my cup, but most of it spilled all over the counter.

EQ Kids Club – Menu with Prices – 3245 Main St Suite 239, Frisco

I really wanted to love EQ, but sadly I don’t think we’ll be going back. My kids seemed to enjoy playing, but as the parent it felt unwelcoming to me. The main reason being the solo staffer for the afternoon. First off, my nine year old was politely told that he wasn’t allowed to be in the single jumper trampoline or go down the slide. Ok, cool. After further investigating, the trampoline says no more than 100 pounds. My child isn’t even close to that. She reminded me more than once to make sure that my child was careful around the other children. First off, there were only two other children in the play place that we weren’t with, my child was friends or siblings with the rest. Second, I think I can parent my own child and wouldn’t have brought any of my kids if I didn’t believe they couldn’t behave or would be considered a threat to other kids. The entire time my kids played, the staffer was constantly cleaning up after them and asking if they were done or moving things back to its “proper” place. I understand that order and cleanliness are appreciated, but LET THEM PLAY. I was under the impression that this was in fact what this place was all about. Overall, my kids enjoyed playing and probably didn’t feel the same way as I did. I think we’ll stick with Playstreet or even The Coop for our future play places.

GoFish Modern Japanese Kitchen – Menu with Prices – 127 W SW Loop 323, Tyler

I love coming to Go Fish on a weekly basis. Their sushi is always phenomenal, but today me and a group of friends came in to be handled by the RUDEST worker there. Her name was Hailey. She gave me the biggest attitude, and then THREW my card back at me. I greeted her w a nice smile and said thank you, but rolled her eyes at me. If the manager sees this, I would suggest you talk to her about her attitude because I don’t think I’ll be coming back. Edit: the manager reached out to me personally and was extremely sweet, nice & fixed the problem immediately!! I do love this place genuinely & it has the best sushi I’ve had in Tyler! Also, I should mention all the other employees were nice and the service was exceptional

Trejo Tortilla Factory – Menu with Prices – 1272 W 6th St #2705, San Bernardino

First let me start off by saying… AMAZING!… being new to the area I am still trying to find my go to spots and so far yelpers have sent me on a wild goose chase and many of these establishments have been epic fails!…. that being said… this place didnt have that many reviews only 3!… but they were all great and since it wasnt too far i decided to try a tortilla place again even though I had a horrible experience at las 4milpas the day before… my dog wont even eat the tortillas!…. i show up its a bit hidden and a worker greets me right away…. i notice the shelves are not heavily stocked which it good so it doesnt go stale… I buy a salsa roja some chips and asked if i can only get a half doezen of corn tortillas… the woman was soooo kind she said yes i explained i was new to the area and the horrible experience the day before and she expressed that they take pride in their quality and brought me some fresh piping hot coen tortillas steaight from the grill they were making them on… and She felt bad i was new here and i havent been steered in the correct direction so she gave me a sample of her pork tamale and flour tortilla… i was very greatful took a picture to upload and left… Im driving when the smell of the tortillas are calling my name…. I pull one corn one out and its extremely hot u can see the steam in the bag still and it was soooo DEE-LISH my only regret was not having butter!… i rushed home and ate the tamale… nice spongey moist and full of meat the tortillas were homemade.. the flour ones thin and taste with butter making them even better the corn was perfect in thickness and just an amazing flavor…. the chips were nice and thin and crisp… not salty at all which is great cuz i like to use them to make quick chilaquilles but wait thats not it!…. i baught the salsa because every week i drive to my gmas in ELA and pick up home made salsa for the week but i ran out early and wont be able to make it til friday so i asked for a red sauce and WATCH OUT…. it has a bit of a kick…. its awsome when a salsa can make your nose run u know its a good one!…. i will be having chilaquilles with that chips and salsa in the morning… I will go back… and sample the chicharron and carnitas cnt wait!… just try it and u wont regret it!

Taqueria La Comadre – Menu with Prices – 3080 S Jupiter Rd, Garland

I was in Garland for a meeting today and stopped to get gas. I walked in and saw that there is a taqueria here so decided that I should just grab a quick lunch before heading back to the office. Glad I did. I am a sucker for good tacos and I was not disappointed. Pastor is hands down my favorite and their pastor is on point. Also had the Barbacoa. I really liked it as well. Great flavor all around. I love finding places by pure accident. I don’t get over this way often but I promise that I will be stopping back by here whenever I do. They also serve breakfast so I might be inclined to schedule an early meeting over here so I can try the migas.

Mariscos Culiacan – Menu with Prices – 1978 E Mariposa Rd, Stockton

I’m in love with their seafood! I love the shrimp cocktail, in my whole entire life I’ve never had such an amazing and tasteful cocktail like I have here. It’s like heaven in my mouth! Everything they cook is gold! It’s so delicious I drive an 1hr just to eat their seafood. Costumer service is wonderful as well. The lady that cooks the food and the man who host are such wonderful people. They are so polite and attentive to what the customer needs. My family and I are really happy and satisfy every single time we come here. One tip, don’t let the outside of where the resturaunt is located fool you, yes it’s not a pretty venue but the Food is great I promise you won’t regret it. And also you might want to place your order 30 min before arriving since everything is fresh and its takes a while to make. Btw I went to the restaurant( 825 E Main St, Stockton, CA 95202-3130, United States) I have not had the chance to try the food truck.

Bobby V’s Cocktails Menu with Prices 10624 Katella Ave, Anaheim

My friends and I love live music and dancing. We have 4 or 5 bar bands that we follow so we go to bars around OC frequently. This last weekend we couldn’t find any of “our” bands playing anywhere and didn’t care for any of the bands at our usual haunts. Somehow we came across Bobby V’s and decided to check it out. When I pulled up I texted my GF who was meeting me and was like, “I don’t know about this place…” When she arrived we literally sat in the car trying to search up any place else because this joint did not look impressive. Still finding nothing we figured, okay we’re here so let’s at least go get a drink. Well, we learned the old lesson about not judging a book by its cover. The inside is very nicely put together and is clean and comfortable- including the bathroom. The bartender was very nice and made good drinks. It was mostly guys who camped out or who came, drank and left, but everyone was very nice. I kind of thought it might be one of those neighborhood places where everyone stares at newbies like, “who are these chicks?” but we felt welcomed. The only potential drama came from this annoying little woman who kept waving her pool cue around, coming dangerously close to my head a few times. She exuded the attitude of one of those nasty creatures who “accidentally” assault you and then act all innocent like, “I was JUST playing pool!” I just ignored and I guess spoiled her fun so she knocked it off. We would’ve liked to be able to dance, but it’s not that kind of place so we settled for wiggling on our bar stools. We left around midnight because we were exhausted (I’d been up since 430 a.m.) and didn’t want to have any more to drink. But we ended up really liking it. I don’t know if we’ll go back anytime soon, but it was a pleasant surprise. If you live locally or are just looking for a casual place to hang out, as we were, give it a try.
