First time I went there was years ago and couldn’t remember the details of how it went so I decided to try it again. while looking at the menu trying to decide what I wanted I asked if they were whole wings And the answer was yes so I figured the six piece wing with fries for 10 bucks was a decent deal and went with that. When they brought it to the table it was 6 tiny party wings and a handful of fries definitely not worth 10 bucks. The only upside was the flavor was good but definitely not worth the money. Picture posted is just a show how small it is.

A & D Buffalo’s – Menu with Prices – 1058 W Club Blvd # 558, Durham

Cant go lower than one star? A very emotional experience I would say. I wanted to get a simple gyro from the other place, but no, someone suggested that we should get food from A&D. I agreed and after carefully looking at the menu and those pictures besides them, decided to order 6 Buffalo wings with some fries and celery. (Wait was like 15-20mins). Anyways, I got my order and since I was quiet hungry, i was looking forward to destroy em wings. I opened my box and saw these 6 tiny wings. Which didn’t even look like that they came from chicken. I have had quail once and it had bigger wings than these whatever they call em. But the hey. They hid the wings under all those fries and i could see my celery as well which gave me hope to continue to eat. As I tried to bite off the meat from the wing. The whole wing got stuck between my teeth, not a piece but the whole tiny wing. As i struggled to eat and enjoy my food I picked up a piece of celery which brought tears to my eyes, last time I had one of those tears was when I lost my pet cat Sammy. Anyways. That was devastating to me. I couldn’t hold it. I had to take pictures of the food, which I have posted along with this review. Oh yeah they charge $0.30 for water as well. That must be some super special ultra filtered imported water. Because I do feel really hydrated. JUST SAYING. IT’s a lie….. All those pictures dont match the end product.

New York fried Chicken – Menu with Prices – 446 Blue Hill Avenue, Boston

My best friend had brought the wing ding meal home one night for himself and let me try a wing and I thought they were pretty good, especially for the price. So of course later on I went and got my own wing ding meal. For 3.99 plus tax you get 6 wings and some fries it is definitely a good deal. Everything was fresh and the wait wasn’t too long. The chicken was pretty crispy and definitely had taste. I would go back again. The fries were good but nothing special. I would highly recommend the wing ding meal to anyone who is hungry but is on a budget.

Crave Wings – Menu with Prices – 13633 Warwick Blvd #1, Newport News

Crave Wings is what I consider a chicken wing gem in Newport News. The location is off Warwick in a small shopping center around other international stores. The inside is decorated with simple decor and decent seating for a casual restaurant. A few TV’s are on the walls and the place is always clean. The restaurant has a moderate sized menu of both American fare (Burger & Sandwiches) and Korean food, but the main attraction is the chicken wings (bone-in). The chicken wings are pretty large as compared to Wingstop or Buffalo Wild Wings. They are unbreaded, flash fried wings, that are coated in your dry rub or sauce of choice. They have plenty of sauce/dry rub options from honey BBQ, to garlic pepper, to traditional hot. A 10 wing combo with french fries and drink will run you about $14 which is still comparable to other chicken wing restaurants. The food is cooked to order so you’ll have wait, usually about 10 minutes, but the wings are worth it. The chicken wings and the sauces are flavorful. The chicken wing meat tastes as if it’s been brined or marinated before it was actually flash fried. Once fried, the wings have a slight exterior crunch. The french fries are just your basic crinkle cut fry and I’m pretty sure they are unsalted unless you ask. You could probably skip on those and use your money to get another side or more chicken wings. The fries can’t be substituted out of the combo though so you’ll have to buy the side separate. Beyond the traditional wings and a few sides, I can’t speak to much of the other items on the menu. If you are going to a place called Crave Wings, I can’t imagine you’d be looking to get anything other than the wings anyway. They are the star.

Hot Wings Express – Menu with Prices – 5452 Atlanta Hwy, Montgomery

Decent little hood spot for wings. I ordered the Korean-style wings and they were pretty good. 15 wings, fries and a drink for like 12 bucks isn’t bad. Seems like they force to get either sweet tea or lemonade with the combo. Doesn’t matter to me, I drink those regularly. But if you don’t like either then you’re out of luck. What irritated me was the fact that I had to order all 15 wings as Korean-style in order to get that flavor. I like to get 2-3 different flavors, especially when I go to a new place. Not sure why they make customers do that. Those wings were good, don’t get me wrong, but I wanted to try the garlic pepper wings too. If I go there again, I’ll let you know. The fries were basic fries, nothing special, the lemonade was good. My recommendation would be to try it once and see if you like it. Past that, you’re on your own.

Empire Wingz II Menu with Prices 9402 Burbank Dr, Baton Rouge

I’m oddly picky about wings, y’all. Like they can’t be greasy, they can’t be too gooey, I like sauce but they can’t be dripping in it unless it’s hot wings OR these. This place is definitely low key and you must be committed to wings to stop in because there’s no drive thru and you must get out of your car to pick up. They do accept phone orders but I would still expect to wait a bit. The wait, is SO worth it. So you must get the BBQ ranch fries. Don’t faux soul search and talk yourself out of it. Yes, they are fried and not healthy, but you’re eating wings for god sakes, why stop now? Crispy crunchy fries, drizzled in ranch and wing sauce? You’re going to effing love them. When you get to the wings, don’t pass up the spicy garlic Parmesan. There’s a ton of butter and cheese and they are SO crunchy on the outside and juicy in the middle. Beautiful. We also did the double dipped OG and honestly, I thought they would be saucier. If you do these, get extra sauce to dip. Good flavor, but I was left wanting more. If you want a real authentic non chain wing, this is your spot. It tastes like you’re having wings in your backyard with your crew – all you need is a nice cold beverage to wash it down. And some Zantac. Lots and lots of Zantac.

The Buffalo Spot – Menu with Prices – 3740 Iowa Ave Ste 106, Riverside

Shocking. The Baffalo Spot is just not it for me whatsoever. I was actually pretty excited to try this place because I am always into good wings, sauces, and fries I mean who isn’t?! Walking inside it reminded me A LOT of Wingstop (in terms of style and decor). The big thing about the Buffalo Spot is their “world famous buffalo fries”. What they are is fries, that come with nugget-like fried chicken on top along with whichever flavor you’d like for example mild, hot, lemon pepper, garlic parmesan, honey bbq, teriyaki etc…. You can get wings on the side (bone in or bone out) and they also have chicken tenders. For the wings and tenders you can get anywhere from a 5-20 piece. I chose to get the world famous buffalo fries with medium sauce along with 5 boneless wings on the side which I chose garlic parmesan after the employee told me it was her favorite. I’m going to start with the sauces, gross. The flavor was just non savory whatsoever. Medium didn’t have a hint of fire, it was kind of sweet if you ask me. Garlic Parmesan flavor was just greasy mayo like flavor. Yes I said it mayo. THE CHICKEN- just NOT GOOD. For this being a WING place, I didn’t understand how poorly everything tasted. The boneless wings were just not good. No matter what flavor the chicken had it wasn’t good quality boneless chicken wings, I don’t think any flavor would make them good. I feel the exact same about the chicken on the fries, It’s just not of good quality, it was like a gross version of McDonald’s chicken nuggets cut up smaller with a bunch of sauce on top. The fries were decent, but soggy. Just my opinion. Very disappointed with the quality of the chicken wings/nuggets.

Not Your Mamas Wings – Menu with Prices – 1150 E Philadelphia St #112, Ontario

I can say that this place by far is the best wing place I have been to. Am I surprised that it is the best? No I’m not cause how many wing places are actually good. That is not a knock and saying that any wing place can just be good. But let me tell you that these wings are something else! Fried to a perfect crisp and not overly greasy and nicely seasoned. I had the lemon pepper wings and could not have been anymore satisfied. Your fries are your typical fries. You really can’t screw up French fries. I’m not going to knock the review down to a four just because I think it is a preference. But I got the potato salad as a side and overall it was pretty good but I thought there was too much relish. But I know ppl love to have a lot of relish in their potato salad so there is that. I will say if you been thinking about coming to this place then stop thinking and go. Support businesses like these because their is no wing chains that can rival this place!

Tony’s Pizza and Wings @South Blvd – Menu with Prices – 4200 South Blvd, Charlotte

Came in for a pizza one night and was pretty impressed compared to my expectations. It won’t knock your socks off but you won’t be disappointed. However, they said to try the wings because they were among the best in town, so on another night I came back. I’m not sure which flavor wings they were resting their laurels on but I was a big fan of the Lemon Pepper and do think they were the best I’ve had for that flavor. The Buffalo wings, I’ve had better but they were still an excellent wing. No complaints. However, what puts these a notch above, is they are baked wings. So you get all that flavor and none of the oil that tends to make wings as unhealthy as they are. In addition, they were a pretty big wing compared to other places that have gone smaller. I enjoyed the pizza and the wings and while I wouldn’t drive across town for either, I’m fortunate enough that it’s just up the street so I can, and will, come back.

Buffalo Shack – Menu with Prices – 1512 Tunnel Blvd, Chattanooga

This is a staple hot wing joint for the city. It’s been here since I was in high school (16 yrs ago) so I’m surprised there’s only one review for them. They offer a few different flavors but hands down the mild and hot are legit the best tasting wing sauce I’ve ever had in life. I compare all other wing sauces to this one. They also sell French fries and I think can sodas (I only ever get the wings). The wings are deep fried then tossed in sauce. There are 2 drawbacks on this place: the wings are small and the location is a bit sketchy if you aren’t familiar with the area. But, I just recommend to order more wings and go during the day if you’re worried about the location. They taste so good that I don’t even deduct stars. Now, this is literally a shack; a basic food truck with absolutely zero frills, so keep that in mind if you’re needing the extras. But if it’s amazing wings you’re after, then this is the spot.

MeVell’s BBQ & Wings – Menu with Prices – 3024 New Covington Pike, Memphis

Make sure you tell them regular fries or seasoned fries! They’ll charge you for seasoned fries which is an extra $1.00, and not tell you. We were over charged twice. The double burger is the best item on their menu! It’s huge and juicy, but if you order the $8.99 special that you can get a burger, BBQ sandwich or fish with wings and fries, the burger is so tiny, over cooked, and not worth it. The wings are decent. I have eaten here several times, and was only happy with the double burger. The gentleman answering the phone is cross, and not very nice, but the lady is very nice and sweet. My family won’t be eating here anymore due to overcharging.

Linwood Bar & Grill – Menu with Prices – 191 Lee Rd, Rochester

Nice welcoming environment. I think it’s under new management. Bartender was very courteous and respectful and attentive, polite, always with a smile and making jokes. That’s a good thing. Decent prices. Nice and friendly crowd. Food was on point. Nice and well done crispy wings (upon request) were delicious. Had some fries with that as well but I think that for almost $3 it could’ve been more than just a handful of skinny fries. Lol. But nonetheless food was very good. The cook brought it out to where I was. He was very courteous and respectful as well. Overall it was a nice experience. I’m definitely going back for their 50 cent wings on Wednesday and Friday. Bringing some friends too.
