Found this place on yelp and decided to give them a try. At first, we called them to place a take out order and no answer for 3 minutes. So we initially moved on, looking into another pizzeria. Surprisingly, they called us back! Person over the phone said their phone system isn’t set up to do dual calls and had another customer on the line. We were caught off-guard but was able to place the Family deal, which is 2 large pizzas (2 toppings), a side of 8 wings, garlic bread, and 6 cans of sodas. We ordered a side of jalapeños & ranch as well, which was a smaller portion than what other pizzeria places provide. Total came out to $30 plus change. Definitely a great deal! Upon arrival, the shop is located at Shaw & West. They have a little lobby with an arcade game and I believe two tables for dine in. Cashier was cordial and offered plates, pepper & cheese, and asked if there was anything else. *An FYI side note, they support local schools, so they had little fundraisers on the side, which never hurts to donate in. For the pizza, we ordered Classic Hawaiian (Ham & Pineapple) and a Pepperoni & Bacon pizza. Flavor for both pizzas were there, right amount of meats/cheese/pineapple, crust was crunchy on the outside & soft on the inside. They offered cheese for a $1 more on the garlic bread, but we went plain, which was fine. They offer 3 flavors for the wings: spicy, sweet teriyaki, & BBQ garlic. We ordered the spicy buffalo, which we honestly think it comes from Costco or Smart & Final, then added more sauce on top. So the wings were a turn off; it didn’t have that crunch and was soggy, drenched with sauce, when we got to it. We would honestly come back and order again. Place would’ve been a 5 star from us, but it is a basic pizzeria. Hopefully, owners will look into setting up the phone lines to acknowledge other callers to hold while they’re on the other line. They can improve on the wings and probably upside the ranch & jalapeños for the extra fee. Other than that, we enjoyed our family deal dinner from them and would definitely consider them next time. Give them a try and hope your experience was as pleasant as ours!

Empire Wingz II Menu with Prices 9402 Burbank Dr, Baton Rouge

I’m oddly picky about wings, y’all. Like they can’t be greasy, they can’t be too gooey, I like sauce but they can’t be dripping in it unless it’s hot wings OR these. This place is definitely low key and you must be committed to wings to stop in because there’s no drive thru and you must get out of your car to pick up. They do accept phone orders but I would still expect to wait a bit. The wait, is SO worth it. So you must get the BBQ ranch fries. Don’t faux soul search and talk yourself out of it. Yes, they are fried and not healthy, but you’re eating wings for god sakes, why stop now? Crispy crunchy fries, drizzled in ranch and wing sauce? You’re going to effing love them. When you get to the wings, don’t pass up the spicy garlic Parmesan. There’s a ton of butter and cheese and they are SO crunchy on the outside and juicy in the middle. Beautiful. We also did the double dipped OG and honestly, I thought they would be saucier. If you do these, get extra sauce to dip. Good flavor, but I was left wanting more. If you want a real authentic non chain wing, this is your spot. It tastes like you’re having wings in your backyard with your crew – all you need is a nice cold beverage to wash it down. And some Zantac. Lots and lots of Zantac.

Galluch’s Pizza Inc Menu with Prices 5949 Manchester Rd, Akron

This was my first time ordering pizza here and when I called I informed the girl that answered that it was my first time and if they had any specials. She gave an abrupt no and then said “what do you want to order?” Seemed annoyed that I asked if there were any specials. I still ordered 2 large pizzas and a dozen wings. When I picked up the pizzas I gave them my name and my order was ready. The girl behind the counter (May have been the same I talked to on the phone) never said hi or gave any type of greeting. She simply stated my total and nothing else. I paid, she handed me my change and then walked away. Never offered a thanks or have a good night or anything even remotely friendly. Not a very good first impression for someone who is trying your pizza for the first time. I could’ve looked past all of this if the pizza was great but we’ve had a lot better pizza in this area than this. The pizza was very doughy and the sauce and cheese were average but the garlic parmesan and buffalo wings were really good. We’ll probably give them another try someday but at this point I won’t be recommending them to anyone. Please try an improve your customer service as well. That goes a long way in keeping a new customer coming back.

Flavors Wings N Daiquiris (Flavors Wings, Daiquiris, & Catfish) Menu with Prices 5005 S Cooper St Suite 175, Arlington

Don’t get me wrong, the wings are hot and sized well. But a few problems with our experience. Fair warning, you can NOT order plains wings at all, no sauce on the side and no uncuncoated wings. Period. It’s a little weird but okay, we went with it. I ordered a combo with fries. Their “spicy garlic” is just buffalo sauce with garlic powder sprinkled on top. Kind of a let down. Honey mustard was nice. Ranch dressing wasnt anything to write home about. Can’t comment on the fries; I never got any. I went back to the counter and showed my receipt and the guy said he would take care of it. I ate my meal and my fries never came. This place definitely has a following, lots of people come in here and the people were friendly. But I’m not sure if I would recommend it.

Hungry Howie’s Pizza – Menu with Prices – 323 E Brown Rd, Mesa

I’ve always been a fan of Howie’s. The pizza here is no different than other Howie’s pizzas I’ve had before. What is different is the customer service! I ordered delivery as I was home alone with my two small son’s. Didn’t want to take them out of the house so I placed my order over the phone with a employee named Erick. I ordered the $20 deal 2 large pizzas and an order of Howie bread. I made sure to ask if the bread came with sauce. Erick assured me that it did. However when my order was delivered, I didn not receive the sauce for the bread. The delivery driver (who’s name I did not catch) forgot to grab it I suppose. So I called the store just to see what could be done for this inconvenience. Now I know it’s just a cup of sauce and really isn’t a big deal but it’s the principal. So Erick answered the call again and remembered my order. He stated he would have the driver bring me a cup of sauce. I did not expect that to happen. To my surprise there was a knock at my door about 20 min later and the same delivery driver was there with the cup of sauce. Now again I know it wasn’t a big deal “just a cup of sauce” but for this team (Erick and the driver) to take time out of their (assumably busy) schedule to bring me a cup of sauce… Well that deserves high marks with me! Thank you for your service and delicious pizza! You will have my business from this day forth!

The Buffalo Spot Menu with Prices 1707 N Collins St Suite 121, Arlington

Walking into this restaurant, I really thought it was a wingstop. The interior layout just gave me wingstop vibes. Anyways, this is a newly opened restaurant in Arlington, TX. It’s located in a pretty huge plaza with tons of other restaurants and dessert shops. There are tons of parking spots in front of the restaurant. Food wise, the wings were okay. They were pretty average in my opinion. We ordered the family tradition wings pack. The pack came with 4 small drinks, 50 wings with 4 flavors, your choice of bread sticks or fries, and ranch to dip. If you wanted veggies you would have had to pay extra. Its also 60 cents extra if you wanted an extra wing sauce or wing sauce on the side. The sauces that we got for the wings are lemon pepper, original hot, jalapeños pineapple, and caribbean jerk. Lemon pepper tasted more lemony than peppery. The lemon pepper at this location were wet based compared to dry based lemon pepper at wingstop. Original hot was a pretty good basic buffalo sauce. If you’re looking for spicy then I would recommend getting Atomic hot. It’s a spicier version of the original buffalo sauce. Jalapeños pineapple was my personal favorite. It wasn’t spicy for anyone who can’t eat spicy. It was fruity and tangy. It was a sauce that many other wing places did not have. If you’re willing to try a fruity kind of wing sauce then I would really recommend this one! Lastly, Caribbean jerk just reminded me of asian zing from Buffalo Wild Wings. It was average and nothing really special. Overall, I like that they were able to accommodate my party of 10. The wings were just warm, it didn’t taste like they were just made. They were pretty mediocre. It wasn’t anything special. However, they’re apparently well known for their buffalo fries. We got the buffalo fries in garlic parmesan and it was actually really good! The sauce was good, and the fries were thick and crispy. If I was going to come back, I would get these fries again!

Denver Pizza Company – Menu with Prices – 908 Jersey St, Denver

I decided to try their $10 discount coupon that came in the mail for dinner tonight and ordered one of their specialty pizzas with artichoke hearts and 6 pieces of wings. In my online order, I replaced mozzarella with fresh mozzarella for the pizza and requested the buffalo sauce to be on the side for the wings. The coupon worked once I fulfilled the minimum order amount ($30) and delivery was prompt. With tax, delivery fee, and tips, the total cost went over $30 even after the discount. Still, I thought everything was going well until this point… When I opened the boxes a bit later to serve dinner to my family, I realized there was NO cheese of any kind at all on the pizza and the wings were drenched in buffalo sauce. Without any cheese, the pizza was brittle and flavorless, and the saucy wings were too spicy for my toddler. So I called again and they sent me another pizza with cheese on top this time but no wings. Instead of giving me a new set of wings without sauce, they gave me a cup of even more buffalo sauce, of which I don’t understand the purpose. I didn’t order an extra cup of sauce–I just wanted plain wings and the sauce on the side so that I could share them with my toddler… In terms of flavors, however, the wings actually tasted better than the pizza. The thin crust of the pizza was way too dry like biscuits with no gummy chewiness. The toppings and Alfredo sauce were okay but not memorable either. Overall, it was too much hassle and not enough satisfaction for a $30 meal. I think I’ll just go back to my usual favorite pizzerias in town.

Chicago’s Pizza With A Twist – Menu with Prices – 2900 Clear Acre Ln, Reno

Came here with my family on a random Thursday night to try something new. I genuinely don’t like the name of the place because it has nothing to do with your typical style Chicago pizza which is suppose to be deep dish…but moving on. Walking in the first thing I noticed was how clean the entire restaurant was, this for me is the first sign for a good or bad (if dirty) dining experience. The ordering style is also at the counter, which is normal for most pizza places but was a bit odd for how the seating was arranged. We ended up ordering a family size Custom Veggie, a medium Three Idiots, and medium Chicken Bacon Ranch (odd how the have bacon but no pepperoni on the menu) with garlic bread, Indian garlic bread, and 24pc buffalo wings. Service was very polite but a bit spotty as everything wasn’t close to coming out all at once. We were getting an item every few minutes it seemed like. The pizza was ok, nothing which would blew anyone away but nothing that was bad either. Of the three we ordered surprisingly my favorite was our Custom veggie(Green Bell Peppers, Jalapenos, Onions). The wings were typical wings. I did like that they were oven cook instead of fried, but the crispness of them was ruined by the amount of buffalo sauce they were drowned in before serving. The traditional Garlic Bread was by far the best thing we were served tons of flavor. The gal behind the counter did a great job explaining that it wasn’t Little Caesars style but more like a pizza cut into a number of square slices/pieces, and was helpful throughout the ordering process making good recommendations. I’m sure I will eventually be back but for the time being they do have some improvements to make. I hope they take these comments in a positive manner and improve. A little less cheese on the specialty pizzas, and alot less sauce on the wings would be an excellent place to start. If you are using quality products/produce don’t mask them with cheese and sauce.

Chic N Fish – Menu with Prices – 954 J Clyde Morris Blvd, Newport News

I liked my experience here but the Momma forgot my French fries that I ordered and my butt was burning for the next few days when the chicken came out of me. LOL. I found this place on yelp and heard about it from others at my workplace. I was craving good wings and I love Korean fried wings! I ordered the 24 piece wings and got half hot and half Korean garlic. I also ordered kimchee, rice, and fries as it was my meal for lunch and dinner. I put in the phone order as the wings take about 30 minutes to make. I probably screwed the Momma up by ordering my sides once I got there. But she was a super nice lady. She scolded me for asking for blue cheese or ranch. She said these are Korean style wings so no need dipping sauce. She was right! The wings were very flavorful and delicious. I would have liked it a little more crispy but it was still very good. The rice and kimchee was good as was the pickled radish. I am sure my French fries would have been good to if I got it. It was actually my fault for not checking all my stuff before I left and also for forgetting that I even ordered the fries. Overall, I agree this is one of the best places for wings in the area and I enjoyed my conversation with the Momma of the restaurant!

Fatburger & Buffalo’s Express – Menu with Prices – 21020 Beach Blvd, Huntington Beach

CHECK YOUR ORDER!!! Or better yet don’t even bother eating here!!! This place is new, and since we live around the corner, we decided to give it a shot. We ordered our food to go, terrible idea. Burgers: dry, bland, no flavor. If their claim to fame is burgers, they definitely missed the boat on that one. I will say the patties were decent size, but so terribly dry. Fries: both of us ordered the fat fries. They also have skinny shoestring style fries, but we opted not to get those in fear that they would be cold by the time we get home. Mind you, we live literally 2 mins from this location and the fries we got were cold, stale, and gross. Honestly tasted like they had been cooked an hour or two earlier and then just re-dipped back in the grease to “heat them back up” Wings: I ordered the boneless wings in medium sauce and my husband ordered the hottest sauce the have. But when he went to eat them, they were teriyaki sauce!!!! How do you go from the hottest sauce to putting on teriyaki sauce…? Maybe it was a mix-up and someone who ordered teriyaki got the scorching sauce ones. Which would be terrible as well. Might I suggest putting stickers on the boxes so you know which ones to put in the bag?! The wings were soggy, absolutely NO crisp to them. The best part, we get home and they didn’t put any ranch or celery/carrots in with our order!!!! Nothing! No ranch with wings is like a sin. Come on now. This place sucks. Honestly I wish it would burn to the ground, but at the same time please don’t. I would miss juice it up and Starbucks too much if you did burn. And if I could give it zero stars I would. The only reason it gets one is because neither of us got explosive dia*rhea. Thank god for iron stomachs.

Pontillo’s Pizzerias – Menu with Prices – 1687 Mt Hope Ave, Rochester

How many lousy pizzas can you order, eat & throw in the garbage before you vow never to order another one? We ordered 2 pizzas Thursday evening for delivery,1 medium without cheese and a large with cheese & pepperoni. The pizzas were warm & soggy, the botton crust burnt. The large pizza had no cheese & too much sauce & oregano. The chicken wings’ skins were not crispy so I had to pop them under the broiler. Seems to be a hit & miss to get a good pizza & wings from this location! I guess it depends on who is cooking & the amount of pride exerted. I threw the 7 remaining slices down the garbage disposer.

Wing Shack Fort Collins – Menu with Prices – 1011 S Lemay Ave, Fort Collins

Not one time I have ordered from here have they ever gotten my order right. I have ordered over the phone for pick up or online for pick up for me and a group or just myself and there is always something wrong with my order. I ordered boneless, I got bone in. I ordered extra ranch which was not included but I was still charged for it. They forgot my fries twice so one of my meals got comped. They charge you to split your sauces if you want more than one which I wanted four, got charged for four but ended up with three different ones. If they are even the slightest bit busy don’t count on your order being what you wanted. I used to be happy with these guys because they have lots of sauce choices and their waffle fries are delicious but I’m pretty unhappy with basically never getting what I order. The last wings we got I had ordered the golden hot sauce, it looked more like wings that were covered in garlic oil. They are mediocre, good enough for quick wings, but I’m not too happy with their staff getting everything wrong all the time.

The Buffalo Spot – Menu with Prices – 4511 Campus Dr, Irvine

Decided to check this place out since my trusty taco spot a few doors down had a long and slow moving line. Like a few people in front and the line was not moving. Plus, they ran out of my favorite mazapan candy. Anyway, so I decided to check this place out since I made a note a few weeks back when they first opened up to check them out, but whenever I got here, I’d always end up getting tacos next door. It was relatively empty considering the 4th of July, but I noted there was definitely a good amount of seating – the restaurant made good use of the rather slim space they were given – chairs, tables and a soda machine line the side corridor. The menu was simple and straight forward – you can order Traditional Wings, Boneless and there were sandwiches and fries too. Another menu screen offered your choice of flavors and sauces. I ordered the 10-piece Traditional Wings with Garlic Parmesan and Honey BBQ, and a side of the Special Sauce. Total was $13.95 including tax. The Special Sauce sorta reminds me of the special sauce you can get from Raising Cane’s. It’s like a somewhat spicy salmon-colored ranch dip. The Garlic Parmesan flavor was more cheesy than garlicky – which was disappointing, since garlic anything is a favorite of mine. The Honey BBQ flavor was strong, sweet and flavorful – definitely my favorite of the two. The chicken itself was okay – juicy and meaty in some parts – but other parts of the chicken seemed overcooked – there were definitely a few hard to bite through pieces, which I’m not a fan of at all. I prefer the wings to be soft and moist, not tough and dry. There seems to be a Boneless Tuesday special where you can get boneless wings for 55 cents each. I prefer my wings with the bone-in, so probably won’t take advantage of this anytime soon. Decent fix for those who live nearby and don’t want to make the drive to Costa Mesa for Wingstop or North Irvine for BWW.
