These guys are great! I have used the service on two occasions, both to get at Pho right down the street from my apartment. But Don, getting fetchers to do your bidding at $8 bucks is lazy! Are you some sort of couch potato? No, I’m not a lazy couch potato (mostly not that), but yes I contracted the procuration of two to-go #2 Pho bowls that refused (they don’t deliver from Glendale Pho Co.) to make its way into my belly from the joint to my crib. Why you ask? Because I was sick… And I needed soup to feel better. Girlfriend was also sick. We opted to dine in. The process was easy, went to the site, filled in the blanks, and at the bottom wrote exactly want i wanted ‘fetched’. The two times I utilized Fech24 I wrote something to the effect of: “Two orders of #2 Pho & an Avocado Smoothie from Glendale Pho Co., I’ll be paying credit” Yeah! They do credit/debit! Anyways. Then my cell gets a notification that they placed the order. Then i get another telling me when they’re picking it up. And finally a 5 minute notice before they’re at my door with my food. I tender the cash/credit and that’s it. On the second time we came down with the cold, the deliverer was a guy named Massis, He really went the extra mile for me. What happened was I received two bags of take out (which i thought was normal, it’s been months since I had ordered the first time), and paid the man. Was prepping dinner and discovered that somehow there were 4 orders of Pho bowls in front of me. Scanned my receipt and realized there was 2 orders of #2 and 2 of #3 Pho… Called my boy Massis and he told me he’d refund me the extra food… Nothing to it. Wat. I was ready to give up the two bowls and drive down to Glendale pho co. to get a refund myself if it weren’t for Massis. Now I have dinner, and breakfast. I feel guilty, but somehow my order got lost in translation to Glendale Pho Co. Perhaps my order was too complex. Either way… He didn’t need to go the extra mile for me. This prompts a review and my first yelp review at that. I’ve been a member of yelp for 5 years, silently lurking the forums & sleuthing good grub in my face, but today… Today fech24 gets a review! They’re damn good at what they do, and they’re very personable. The website might need some tweaking to do, with order clarification, but otherwise the people are great. TL;DR These guys DELIVER, great simple order process, great employees delivering, and they go the extra mile. I recommend this service to anyone in the serviceable areas.

Birdie Bowl & Juicery – Menu with Prices – 3313 Hyland Ave, Costa Mesa

Came here during my lunch with my coworkers and enjoyed every minute of it! Very refreshing and filling as well! Its a nice break from all the grease and fried food i was eating and i felt so healthy after eating it even though im def not LOL please give this place a try sometime if you love acai bowls! Pros: – Staff is very friendly here! She was really patient with me when I was ordering my food! her friend was the customer before me and they were talking for a while but i didnt mind and she kept apologizing to me for that so it was awesome of her for being aware of that but tbh, i didnt mind! – Theyre menu has everything for everyone! you can definitely find something here for you that youd like and you can also do add ons as well! I ordered the Pitaya colada but i subbed the pitaya for acai! i LOVE toasted coconuts in my acai bowls and cranola as well so this bowl was screaming my name! – When you pick up your order, they have extra toppings at the station too! They have agave, brown sugar and honey! I LOOOVE honey on my bowls so i kept coming back after eating each layer of my bowl. a lot of places don’t offer this but i appreciated that birdie has this for their customers! Mehs: – i wish my bowl was a little bit sweeter! maybe its because im the most unhealthiest person in the world but i got tired of my bowl after a while because it wasnt sweet enough! Cons: None

Taco L1000000 – Menu with Prices – 2080 Favor Rd SW, Marietta

WORST SERVICE EVER! They messed up my whole order and when I asked for my money back, they refused to give me my money back. It was the worst experience ever! It was on the receipt that I had ordered 12 tacos & they had only given me 10. When I went back to show them, the b**** was telling me that she had given me free tacos, but I paid for 12 and only received 10. Then the b***** gets mad at me for giving my order to someone else when that’s her job to be checking the orders. On top of that their dining area is always full of flies! I’m pretty sure they do this quite often since they don’t accept credit cards only cash. So this is what happens when it comes to situations like this. To them it’s screw the customer. If they would’ve accepted credit cards I could’ve easily dealt with my bank to get my money back, but since they only take cash this is why I believe they do this often. If you want professional Mexican food I’d recommend Tortas Locas. Don’t get sick off this bullsh**! I would give it no stars but since it’s required I have to put one which they don’t even deserve!!!!

Gold Rail Bar – Menu with Prices – 1114 N Pacific Ave, Glendale

OMG!!! My husband grew up in Glendale in the 50’s-70’s and had always said this place was a “dive bar”….NOT ANYMORE!! This place is awesome with 24 beer taps, 2 taps on Nitro, 2 wine taps! The part owner is very nice and very friendly (personality plus), which in my book is extra special! Came in for one beer each and ended up staying for two more beers each and a shot of tequila (which was an added surprise)! It was a very quiet night for a Tuesday (which is okay), hopefully more people will come in and check this place out! It’s a great place to hang out and talk about beer, tequila and growing up in Glendale!

Botanic Bowls – Menu with Prices – 4172 Pacific Coast Hwy, Torrance

This is Torrance’s sad attempt to copy Blue Bowls (originally in the city of Orange) but it needs some major training of its employees if they want to survive. This spot is shared in the same, small store as Dahlicious Creamery – which in my opinion, was a dumb idea. Rolled ice cream takes a while to make & the concept of this customizable açaí bowl also takes a while. Add those two together on top of incompetent workers and you might as well bring a book to read while you’re in line. SERVICE: – I came with a friend & a girl took our orders. Instead of doing our order one at a time, she kept on getting our orders confused. “That’s her bowl. No, that’s not my mine. Excuse me? Yeah, that’s not her bowl.” This continued for the ENTIRE process. I eventually suggested to her that she do one bowl at a time, which she sweetly ignored. Why even ask what I want on my bowl if you aren’t going to listen and try to put it on my friends bowl? I get that people make mistakes – but 5 times in a row between 2 açaí bowls just seems dumb. TASTE: – While the vases aren’t as off as Blue Bowl’s, they’re decent and probably the only reason why I didn’t give this a one-star. My favorites are the matcha & coconut. I stopped by here within a couple weeks of it opening and now it’s been open for a couple of months. I thought there would be an improvement but I was wrong. Better luck next time! For now, I’ll drive the extra 40 minutes to Blue Bowl in Orange for the better quality, service, & taste.

JL Japanese Express – Menu with Prices – 5555 Whittlesey Blvd L4, Columbus

I was feeling as though I was getting sick, and I wanted some healthy food like sushi, a poke bowl, miso soup, or Ramen to get my immune system back in check. I happened to be staying about a half mile away from Japanese Express. It’s exactly what I wanted: Japanese food and to-go. I walked in on a Friday night and it was completely dead. I was greeted by a young woman who tried helping me navigate through the menu. I asked if they had poke bowls, and she said she had no idea what that was. One of the Japanese woman from the restaurant came over and also didn’t know what I was talking about. That was a first. So I figured, no poke for me. I knew I wanted miso soup & seaweed salad. I also chose the salmon hibachi and asked for extra ginger. They said it would take about 20 minutes. I had errands to run and went back in a half hour. My food was ready for me. There are plenty of parking spots in the lot. The prices are very fair. Everything I ordered was under $20. Which isn’t bad especially considering I got a huge piece of salmon in my hibachi meal. I got back to my hotel room and opened up the food, and it was barely the right order. It was pretty much a completely different order aside from the salmon. I had asked for a seaweed salad, that never came. No extra ginger. So I basically got a piece of salmon and miso soup. It was OK, but it seemed to be cooked in an unhealthy way considering it all tasted fried in greasy oils. I would not recommend going here, try another Japanese restaurant close by.

K & G Corner Deli – Menu with Prices – 169 Orange St, New Haven

I tried to have an order delivered to my office address today and was told we were too far away so the order would have to be over $25 for delivery (their requirement for deliveries over 1 mile). I told them we are 1.1 miles away and was told (quite rudely) that is still over 1 mile and so the requirement stands (even though they have delivered to my office many times in the past). I then went on their website which connected me to Doordash for online orders for delivery and it asked for the delivery address to confirm it could be delivered and delivery was approved and showed as 0.9 miles away. The refusal to deliver a $16 order because we were “too far away” at 1.1 miles (or 0.9 miles according to the delivery service) just cost them a bunch of business since I stop in at least once a week to pick up breakfast and my husband’s entire department orders from them often. Bad business practice.

Stevie’s Pizza – Menu with Prices – 20210 N 59th Ave #102, Glendale

I’ve decided to update my original review of Stevie’s, which I wrote back in February of 2016. Since my first experience it has just gotten better ‘n’ better! The “mobility problem” I had hasn’t improved, so now instead of going in to eat I call in my order for home Delivery. They always get my order right, never make a mistake with the bill, and when they say it’ll be about 45 minutes to an hour, they mean it! It might be because I usually call in my order around 3 or 4 in the afternoon, and not during their busiest time of the evening, but my food always arrives on time and hot out of the oven – whether it’s a hot dinner or a pizza. Just want to say “Thanks” to all the crew at Stevie’s in Glendale. Whether it’s on the phone when you take my order OR the cooks in the kitchen making “my eats” – You are the Best!!

Tai Chi Cuisine – Menu with Prices – 5414 Walnut Ave, Irvine

The worst service experience I have never had before!!!! Tonight, I was going to Taichi to buy their Wonton soup which was today’s special dish offer. When I gave them my credit card to pay the order, the male cashier Wang said: ” We do NOT accept credit cards under $20, especially your order is a dinner special.” What!? Why was I DISCRIMINATED against because of ordering a dinner special and pay by credit card??????? Then, I went to check my purse if I had enough cash, but I did not find any. So, I told them I did not have cash, and when your restaurant posted menu in group, you guys did not mention do not accept credit card under $ 20 anywhere, even in the front desk of the restaurant, there is nowhere customers can find this notice. Unfortunately, this cashier Huang did not explain anything to me. Instead, he said Impatiently and Rude: ” It is COMMON SENSE in American like you go to the 99 Ranch market, they won’t accept, either.” What the Heck!? Then, he started to service other customers who were behind me and just IGNORED me. After I stood there embarrassed about 3 mins, he asked me to transfer the amount to his BOA account by Zelle. Finally, I got my food which was needed to bring to church. Actually, I hate spreading negative inform and rarely give a bad review. However, the cashier in Taichi made it! Good job cashier Wang! (1) If you think people who order today’s special dish are cheap, no cash in pocket and have to pay by credit card even under $20, please mention it early or do not offer today’s special, I won’t be angry (2) If you are afraid the bank will charge your boss the transaction fee by using a credit card, I am willing to pay that several cents for my order. Customers going to your restaurant is for service and pay for it, not for being charged!

Victory barber company – Menu with Prices – 1302 S Brand Blvd unit B, Glendale

5 SOLID STARS. Glendale just came up on a gem of a barber shop. Arya, the owner, lead barber, and overall amazing dude, will always make you feel at home. This shop has a vibe unlike any other. His collection of genuine-vintage barber shop paraphernalia is so sick, that alone is a solid reason to pop your head in to catch a glimpse. I’ve been coming to Arya for nearly 6 years and have never been disappointed. It’s gotten to the point where I don’t need him to hand me the mirror to inspect the finished product, I have all the confidence in this man. Plan ahead, book way in advance… I promise you’ll become a regular. You’ll never leave dissatisfied!

Main Squeeze Juice Co. – Menu with Prices – 3660 Veterans Blvd Suite C, Metairie

Coming from the East Coast of Florida, I’m used to an abundance of healthy juice shops with tasty açaí bowls. Proper bowls are one of the main things I miss since shops in Nola can’t seem to get them quite right. I saw Main Squeeze on IG and decided to stop by to grab a bowl for breakfast. The store was clean, looked and smelled great, but I didn’t care for my bowl. They have a few bowl options here (açaí and pitaya), but only one includes nut butter, a must in my book. The downside to that Açaí Nut Bowl is that it lacks toppings. Where most bowls come with multiple fruits on top, it only includes banana. The standard Açaí Nut Bowl is $9.99 and is made with Açaí, Almond Milk, Banana, Almond Butter, Honey, Granola & Chia Seeds. They’ll charge you an extra $1 per additional fruit toppings. It’s also important to note they blend the nut butter and honey into the açaí, which makes it sweeter than other recipes, and the bowl is served in a large dinner-sized bowl instead of a small tub. I had an issue where they forgot the granola topping and added an extra tip onto my order; however, customer service was great and reached out to make it right.

Cafeto Coffee Company (Custom Roasting) – Menu with Prices – 4000 E 22nd Ave, Eugene

Crystal was just great. I wanted 20 lbs. of my favorite coffee Cafeto Italian Roast, to take south with us. I have been buying it from Cash & Carry in 5 lb. bags. When I called Cafeto directly to see if I could get it on such short notice, Crystal expedited the process and worked with Mike at Cash & Carry to deliver on a day that was not their normal delivery day. I placed the order on Thursday, the beans were roasted on Friday and as promised, was ready for pick up on Monday…Today is Tuesday, and we are on the road with enough fresh roasted coffee to last the winter. Yum! Thanks to Crystal, for going the extra mile. Two happy coffee drinkers!
