Tried this place since KungFu Tea was out of mango for their mango slush. Menu look good. Had difficulty with the talking. I had a bit of a hard time trying to get my questions answered. Asked about the Oreo Creame Burlee (what I thought it was more of a milk shake) it is straight up milk. So the mis- understanding just cost me to waste my money and probably my business to this estalishment. Fills like you got taken advantage of when money gets wasted that easily and your kid looks at you like I didn’t get anything. We almost went back to complain but I dont think it wouldn’t have done much good. The other issue that bugs me is that its summer temperatures out there now why would I want to order cool mike on a hot day. Word of advice on customer service. Know your menu and just put two and two together and suggest or guide a customer towards shake versus cool milk. This was our first time here and recommendations would have been welcomed.

Seattle Marriott Bellevue Menu with Prices 200 110th Ave NE, Bellevue

Honestly, I don’t know where to start between Bed Bugs eating my partner and myself and the rudest customer service I have ever recieved. I would rate this place a zero star. My partner and I have multiple bites all over our bodies from a night stay. The management when we called them to complain did not want to move us rooms. The night manager made a snide comment that we were trying to getter a better view. I showed her the bites on my arm and she still pushed we keep the room that there are no bed bugs in Washington and that they have never had a problem/complaint ever she called an engineer over to have him state there are no bugs and the could not get someone to inspect the room. Finally, she agreed to let us move rooms at this point my partner just wanted to move hotels as this was 1 in the dawn and we had been itching like crazy and unable to sleep plus the lack of customer service for a supposedly 4-star hotel was a joke. We moved rooms and she called to let us know that the team found a bug but it was not “bed bugs” it was something else. They refused to let us know what they had found. At this point, we decided to go see a doctor who confirmed that we had bed bug bites. I went to the hotel asking to have our things laundred. Called was told the manager was not there went to the location the day manager Melissa was a joke who explained they didn’t have bugs and that she could not do anything about our stuff or the 4 days we paid. That they were doing an investigation and would “let us know”. I explained that we were now out medical fees and laundry fees and now I have bites all over my body. She tried to state that it was someplace else that gave us the bites even tho they showed up the morning after our first stay. This who thing has been a nightmare we’re management refuses to communicate and shows that this place is lower than a motel 6 on a bad day.

Terra Nostra Ristorante – Menu with Prices – 15880 San Carlos Blvd, Fort Myers

Bugs! This is unfortunately the best way I can describe our experience. We are visiting family in Fort Myers and decided to go to Terra Nostra as my wife was craving Italian. Other than the service being a bit slow we were pretty happy, and then the bugs arrived. We ordered calimari and continually found live bugs below the food, but brushed it off as a hazard of eating outside. Then they kept coming, into my water, into the olive oil for the bread, and those are only the places we know about. My wife had to cover her drinks to ensure they weren’t infested by whatever was outside, and we couldn’t find other tables experiencing the same issue. When the food came out, we asked to speak with the manager and when Peter arrived we let him know of the issue and that we we understood that he couldn’t control everything with it being outside. Peter essentially just laughed at us and told us it wasn’t his problem. We again indicated that we understood that he couldn’t control being outdoors, but wanted him to be aware as we seemed to be the only table affected by the issue. Peter gave no effs and only after repeated comments did he offer to move us inside We instead asked for the plates and cups with live bugs in them to be removed and only the cup was removed. Not everyone is looking for a free meal and we gave Peter many opportunities, and his default effort was to laugh at his guests. Due to this, I cannot recommend Terra Nostra. Worst experience with restaurant management I have ever had.

Carl’s Frozen Custard – Menu with Prices – 2200 Princess Anne St, Fredericksburg

So let’s get the obvious out of the way: this place is still standing for a reason; because they sell good custard. I like the simplicity of the menu, the staff was friendly and the vibe was very retro. It is a fantastic place to go in the evening on summer days like today as a nice little hangout spot. My only real gripes from this one experience was the fact that it’s cash only but they seem to do so much business (perhaps because they want to keep up the old-time feel) and the pineapple shake was slightly frost bitten. I have no idea why that was because i got the vanilla shake and the strawberry custard, both of which were phenomenally smooth. My sister and I think the reason the pineapple shake came out the way it did was because they use whole pineapple chunks in what i believe is just a standard vanilla shake and that might have caused some sort of reaction. But the bottom line is: great place to stop by, especially during the summer time to enjoy some frozen custard and history!

Raspados Andy Boise Menu with Prices S1006346900, Boise

Perfect snow cones for the summer. If you like the Mexican flavors, expecially tamarindo and chimoy, the mangonada is excellent. You get a lot of mango in it too! They put just the right amount of syrup and ice so you dont end up with a cup full of syrup, and your ice does not just melt away. Reminds me of the ones I used to get in LA!

Biggins’ Big Dip Menu with Prices 197 Portage Lakes Drive, Akron

I stopped at Biggins Big Dip a couple times last year. They have a large selection of things to order. I have never seen so many cool ice cream creations before. I havent tried one of them but I will this summer. I had bought a bunch of coney dogs for my coworkers and we all loved them. They took time to make them up in separate containers so they wouldnt get soggy for me. I also had a large banana split on another visit. That thing was huge and I couldnt finish it. It was amazing though.

Carson’s Brewery – Menu with Prices – 2404 Lynch Rd, Evansville

The beer is okay, I have had it at multiple local events and never had anything to complain about, but nothing to write home about either. However, at the last music at the park at Akin Park, the sign clearly read $4.00 for a single can, a bit expensive, but whatever, I ordered 2 cans for my wife and I and was charged $4.25 per beer. I wouldnt have had a problem paying the extra .25 cents had it not been clearly stated that the beer was $4.00. I had brought it up to the vendor and was completely ignored, then he shorted me five dollars on my change before correcting himself (thankfully I didnt have to correct him) and I was given the “correct” change (not counting the extra .25 cents per beer) after watching him count it out into my hands. I don’t know if he was just inebriated, but i wont be buying any beer from them again. It was a disappointing experience with a “C+” beer.

The Original Barrio Fiesta of Manila – Menu with Prices – 818 N Pacific Ave & Arden Ave, Glendale

VERY VERY POOR CUSTOMER. Before I ordered the Kare kare, I asked how many ox tails was included the waiter, I think his name is Jay or jr. We’ll he told me that it came with 2 big ox tails and some tripes and beef briskets. He mentioned if I just want the ox tails instead of the other meats, it would be the same price of $24.00 for large. But when he was explaining it to me, that he’ll put more ox tails, he said it will be extra. So I think he wasn’t telling me the truth. So I ordered our food -crispy binagoongan , kare kare, pinakbet. And rice. When the food finally came, my wife and I were very very disappointed that kare kare didnt have the big ox tails. That he said it would. We didn’t want to complain right there, so I called and ask him why is there only 2 small ox tails. I asked him where is the big ox tails, he said he never said that and he said there’s 2 in pot. He had an attitude bcuz I questioned the food. He then said he will get more ox tails. When he came back he brought over 1 small ox tail in a very tiny, small pala yok. What a joke , I knew his was making fun of me bcuz I complained. He also was asking me if I was good when he brought the small ox tail. I didnt want to make a scene. We as paying customer either Filipino or other ethic background be treated with respect . I was respectful towards him . I paid my hard earned money to eat good Filipino yet I got very very bad customer service and the was not great at all. The reason we went to this location is bcuz the one in north hills was busy. I told my family and friends of my bad experience here. They just lost a good paying customer. This facility needs to learn people skills. I do not recommend this place even if they giving food for free. Oh almost forgot, I called the place to speak with the manager, Jay answered. I ask for manager he said no one available. I asked for managers name. He would not give name. He asked why I wanted to speak to manager I replied I wanted to complain about customer service. He again had an attitude on the phone. So I just hung up on him.. For Jay being in the customer’s eyes. By giving poor customer service gives us Filipinos a bad name.. I even left a 18% tip of bill $64.70. knowing if I didnt he would be talking bad about us shame on you Jay Treating customers poorly. Had to pick 1 star or I can’t post. Zero rating:(!!

Hanaya Poke Southside (formerly named Hana Poke) – Menu with Prices – 6113 Saratoga Blvd Suite A, Corpus Christi

REVIEW BASED ON THE DRINKS AND NOT THE FOOD: Did I like the bubble tea? Ha na… not really. I got the milk tea based on the fact that when we asked they said it wasn’t powder. Also, because it was only 3$ and that’s cheap for milk tea. But the milk tea was not gooooood. I ended up getting something else which was the lychee one. I wasn’t very exhilarated with that one either… my sisters passion mango wasn’t that bad. Hm idk I guess the flavors tasted off or something. The milk tea tasted sour and my group agreed. They proclaimed, “No wonder why it’s so cheap.” I mean they were mocking it but we’re not mean people. Just wasn’t for us if that’s how they make it, and how it’s supposed to be. The lychee was just too much chewing I guess lol. Same with the passion mango. But the passion mango actually tasted like something I’d get again if I was to ever come back.

B-909 Icy Tea – Menu with Prices – 2569 S King Rd c5, San Jose

Do not buy food here! Or milkshakes. Milk tea is a yes! I came here with a friend at 11pm and we purchased a Butter Toast, Mango milk tea and Oreo Milkshake. It was pretty empty at 11pm. I’ve attached a photo of the “toast” we received. Pathetic, right? The picture explains it all. My friend refused to complain while I sat fuming. The Oreo Milkshake and Mango Milk tea was great, if you like really sweet drinks, which I do. The server was really nice, a young man who replaced my tea when I reminded him I ordered no ice. THE NEXT DAY I couldn’t stop thinking about the terrible toast, so I came back for further investigation the next day at 11am. Our server was a lovely pregnant woman, but English was not her first language, so we had to point to pictures on the menu. Ordered a dessert Brick Toast, Oreo Milkshake and Mango Milk tea. In my mind, the Oreo Milkshake would be good since we had it before, right? Oh no, how wrong we were! The Oreo Milkshake came out and it was DIFFERENT from 12hrs ago. How. Is. It. Different. I wish I had direct photos for comparison, but basically, it looked and tasted different. I’ve attached a photo of the menu picture (which we received the night previously, and what we got that morning). This one was not creamy and very watered down. My Mango Milk tea was good. When the Brick Toast came out, a male server came over and explained to us that they no longer had the “milk” syrup thing they use for the Brick Toast and Oreo Milkshake, which the female server did not tell us. He pointed out this was why the Oreo Milkshake was bland and the Brick Toast he brought to us was literally just cubed pieces of bread and a dollop of ice cream on top. Awkward. He offered a refund (only for the Brick Toast) and I awkwardly accepted. BUT WAIT, there’s more! He comes back 2 minutes later and goes, “Oh we do have the syrup thing! Do you still want the toast?” What? Uh, no. I declined nicely and we left. 1 star for the Milk Tea and incompetent but friendly server.

Time Out Sports Bar & Grill – Menu with Prices – 1762 S Greenfield Rd Ste 111, Mesa

My fiance and I came here when it first changed to Time Out. We sat at a bar table and was assisted by the bartender. she was SO nice and told us all about the new changes and how she worked there when it was Fat Willys and we told her how we only went there once because food was gross. She assured us new owner made many changes. We were ecstatic. We ordered a burger and wings and some mixed drinks. Food came out perfect. No complaints at all. We live across the street and were excited that this place was now amazing. Ended there because every time we go in there now there is new charges. Now they charge for fries when they didnt the first time. Then after getting our bill we noticed they charge for kids drinks, they dont come with the kids meal like most places. Also they have kids eat free which is a big deal for us since we have 3, well apparently even though we paid full price for wings because it wasnt a day they were on special, they still wouldnt count it as an entree even though they cost more than the burger. At least make it a dollar amount or have it written somewhere in the place. We gad an amazing experience the first time but have been back 3 times since and been disappointed by service and by surprise charges. Wont be coming back. Havent seen that nice bartender since, unfortunately. Seems like they just want to do anything to get more money out of you but not really care about their guests. Sad to see.

Rheas Hot Links – Menu with Prices – 201-229 South Oakland Avenue, 204 S Fannin Ave, Tyler

Well today, I went to hot link place for my husband to take to his job. Normally the ladies are great always. But, we have noticed the last 3 visits havnt been that plesant from just (1) employee. But, we will still speak but her attitude us nonchalant. Anyway, today she came to window, didnt speak, and I ordered. Then came back gave me price and I gave her my card. Told her the chip doesn’t work as I handed to her. She looked at me, and still took it. About 5mins later, she comes back and says, my card dont work. Well, 1st of all, it works fine but the reason I told her in advance is for her to do it as credit or without chip usage. Anyway, i told her, I will give her cash. She handed her hand out for my cash, but still had my debit card. I told her to give my card 1st, then I gave her a $50 bill. She took a min and came back with $26 change. I looked at her funny and asked where my receipt she said since I didnt pay with card, I cant get a receipt. I asked how much was it again, she looked at me with a attitude and said, its right. $13 from $50 is $26 and I told her its incorrect and then she shut window on me and started talking to other worker. I bought 14 links, which she gave him the smallest links in there and a strawberry fanta, no ice. Maybe she gaving a bad day. But, lately she has acted this way. Idk way, i haven’t done anything to her and idk her either well. I drove around to front door, went in with food and money. Told the smaller dark lady, who is always sweet and she asked what i bought, told her and still that lady tried to say, 50-13=26, and thats what i gave you. Well, im not dumb, but I know how to count. So instead of arguing, i pulled out my phn to calculator, then she hurried up and said, or yea..I owe you $10. Laid it on counter and walked away. I told my hubby when i took him the food and he tut old me to report it. He said, he was proud of me, cause normally i goes off about my money. But, I have grown alot and tries to be better. She still had a attutude, vut you tried to CHEAT ME, but mad at me. I dont get that. How many people does, she do like this daily that she THINKS, DONT COUNT THEIR MONEY. My husband is bad about not counting his, but I DONT PLAY LIKE THAT. He eats at Rheas at least weekly, and before he had his seizures last yr. He ate 3 times a week faithfully on lunch break of after work. Smh at her.
