I have been a client of Sarina for more then 6 years now. I first started seeing her due to severe break outs along my chin and cheek area. She accurately addressed my skin problems and gave me products recommendations based on my skin type. The facial treatment was personalized to address my problem areas and Within a year(I know is a long process but it’s worth the time), my skin feels smooth and glowing, and the acne scars are almost invisible. I love how she always recommends the treatments and products that will benefit me the most, rather then just the most expensive ones. I tried the new organic fruit peel and wet/dry Microdermabrasion at her new place which located downtown Bellevue. After the treatment I can immediately say this is my new favorite facial now. The fruit peel came with a gel mask (it’s kinda intense tingling but I love I can feel the stuff is working). The wet/dry microdermabrasion got rid of the dead skin cells and clogged pores. After the treatment, she showed me all the junks that came off of my face, omg it was so satisfying. I love how my skin looks and feel after the facial.

Beyond Beauty Esthetics – Menu with Prices – 16742 Southwest Fwy Suite 13, Sugar Land

I went to see Maddy at Beyond Beauty and got microdermabrasion. My face feels like a baby’s butt forreal. It’s sooooo smooth!! Maddy is so sweet and communicative! She says she’s specialized in working with people who are undergoing cancer treatment and have really sensitive skin. She researched all the products I am currently using to give me recommendations. It’s like having your own beauty-best-friend. Like other reviewers, my favorite part of the facial was the cryo globes that helped calm down my skin after the microdermabrasion. I think I’m going to buy some of my own and use them at home by keeping them in the freezer. Please give her a try and don’t get turned off by the generic bland office building. Once you enter the spa it’s like you’ve teleported to a relaxing secret serene space to feed your skin.

Silk Skin Studio – Menu with Prices – 1157 Saratoga Ave Ste 201, San Jose

TLDR; I didn’t know it was so painful to get your blackheads removed but Linh did a great job and made my experience very delightful. Love love love Linh!!!! I’ve been trying to find a place to get a facial done but haven’t had any luck until I came across Silk Skin Studio! My main concern was my blemished skin and my blackheads that desperately needed to be removed. One of the treatments Linh offers is a 50 min Teen facial which focused more on dead skin, whiteheads and blackheads which was perfect for me! Her place is very nicely decorated and is veryyyyy relaxing. It was so hard to not fall asleep while I was there. She first started off with explaining how she does her treatments and products which was very nice since I am totally new to all of this. Instead of doing the same type of treatment on everyone’s skin, she said she personalizes it depending on their skin type which is awesome because not everyone has the same type of skin condition!! The treatment itself was very calming and relaxing. My skin looked amazing after and was very glowy after just 1 treatment which amazed me. It has been 3 days since my treatment and my skin is still very glowy and my blemished skin is starting to even out. I am definitely loving my skin more now. You can tell Linh is very passionate about what she does. She wants the best for her clients and only uses the best quality products. She was very kind to me and answered all the questions I had and gave me some samples of her products. She also gave me a cute lotion and gel set and offered some Longan tea and chocolate. Sooooo sweet of her!! She really goes above and beyond. I can’t wait to see Linh again for my treatments!!!!

Emerald City Smoothie Menu with Prices 221 Bellevue Way NE, Bellevue

We came here to get a smoothie, as Emerald City Smoothie recently relocated to Park Row in downtown Bellevue. Glad to have it in the area, as it provides healthier smoothies than any other smoothie spot around. We ordered a 32oz. Mango Berry smoothie to share, which is a good size for doing so. There’s also a 24oz. size option. In addition to smoothies, which you can customize to your liking, they offer acai bowls and other health products like supplements, protein powder, pre-workout mixes, etc… There was only one employee working on a Thursday late afternoon when we visited, so service was slow since there were a few customers waiting to get their smoothie. The shop here though is much better than its former downtown Bellevue location, offering more space, which allows for customers to hang out on the couch or at other seating options. I’m a fan of Emerald City Smoothie, so am glad they’ve reopened in downtown Bellevue. There are lots of healthy options here for smoothies, with some including whey protein or boosters. I like that you can customize any of the smoothies, to whatever fruit flavor, boosters, milk options, etc…you desire.

Xiao Chi Jie Menu with Prices 278 106th Ave NE, Bellevue

I only tried the sheng jian bao here, but I would probably rate them around 3.5 stars. A good addition to the Bellevue dining scene! To order, you have to use self-service kiosks, but there are employees stationed at the front counter to help you if needed. Thankfully the UI was pretty easy to use, and their menu is not too extensive so you don’t have to scroll too much. Sheng jian bao (SJB) are either 5 for $11 + tax or 2 for $5 + tax. When I went right at 5 PM on a weeknight, they had a lot of SJB pre-made, so I got my order right away. It seems like they give it to you in a to-go container by default. The SJB were fried with the pleated side down. The skin was a little different from other SJB that I have had. In other versions I’ve had (Vancouver BC, California, Taiwan, and other Seattle area restaurants), the skin was more bready, like those found in baozi. In this version, the skin was thinner and more similar to a dumpling wrapper. It wasn’t bad; it was just different than other SJB I have had in the past. The pleated side had a satisfying crunch. Perhaps this is the authentic Shanghainese method of making SJB? There was a lot of soup inside each bun, but as others have said, it squirts easily and goes off on inconvenient trajectories. I couldn’t really find a way to eat them while keeping all the soup inside. The soup tasted good, but the meat filling tasted slightly off to me. It was still good, but I couldn’t quite place my finger on why some aspect of the taste of the filling disagreed slightly with me. Perhaps the meat quality was not up to par. Or, maybe it was a one-off. I’d be willing to try the SJB here again. Pricing is a little steep in my opinion for the food court environment, but it is in downtown Bellevue. I still think the versions I’ve had in metro Vancouver are better, and they are more than 50% cheaper in some cases.

Hangs French Coffee & Smoothie – Menu with Prices – 1146 Fort Street Mall, Honolulu

I think I’m in love. I was in love from the first sip. How is it possible that a smoothie could be THAT delicious?! It’s no surprise since he uses fresh fruit. He doesn’t add ice cream or yogurt or anything to overwhelm your taste buds with harsh sweetness. If anything I think he adds condensed milk to some smoothies. I’ve only ever tried the fruity flavors — peach, pineapple, strawberry, and mango. My favorite must be Mango. This mango smoothie is so refreshing, delicious, creamy and perfectly sweet. If you like mango in the slightest way, you must try it. I can’t stress that enough. The sad part is that mango is seasonal so its available during the Summer months. So what to opt for if mango isn’t available? Peach and pineapple are my other favorite flavors. The peach flavor is so fresh, it tastes like you just bit into a peach. Omg, it’s heaven. Pineapple is just as fresh and has that nice sour/sweet flavor a pineapple has. You’ll never want it to end. It’s located in Fort Street Mall on the side where most of the other restaurants are. Parking can be brutal in downtown/Chinatown! My suggestion, go with another person so someone can drive/watch the car while the other goes and picks up some heaven. Oh and it is CASH ONLY. No problem – there’s a lot of banks and ATMs downtown ? If there was 10 stars to give, I wish I could give it to this place. There is no hype, no overrated reviews here. As their ratings says it all, this place is a MUST when it comes to fresh fruit smoothies. I guarantee you will be satisfied and feel feelings you never thought you’d ever feel from drinking a smoothie. **New Found Favorite: Cantaloupe. It’s not too sweet but incredibly fresh and refreshing to have. It has a more watery consistency (as does the fruit) but that does not take away anything from the flavor. TIP: Try to order WITHOUT pearls. It might just be preference but their smoothies are so flavorful, you wouldn’t want anything to disrupt or hinder your ability to taste the deliciousness of each smoothie — they deserve more than that.

3138 E. Madison – Menu with Prices – 3138 E Madison St, Seattle

I have been a client of Alicia’s for several years now and wouldn’t think of going to anyone else for a facial or sugaring services. I feel like she has put a lot of thought and planning into the services she offers male clients, which is a bit rare in my experience since most skincare providers tend to be focused on services for their female clients. When she mentioned that she was opening a new location near Madison Park, I was excited to sign up for her facial special. The space is really nice! It was a much more enjoyable experience seeing her in her own space that was focused exclusively on skincare. The facial offered several new treatments that I had not tried before (LED Light and oxygen treatments) and she recommended a fantastic vitamin treatment from the product line that she’s carrying now that is really making a difference in how my face looks and feels. For sugaring, she is a master at what she does. I have seen other skincare specialists and I feel that Alicia’s work is always longer lasting, MUCH less painful and with zero ingrown hairs and breaking out. I’m planning on getting regular facials now which is something I haven’t really done in the past. All in all, an excellent experience just like it always is. Pros: Offerings are thorough and well thought out for different needs of male and female clients; Expert in sugaring which is much less painful and fewer ingrown hairs than waxing; Alicia is a great presence always calming, funny and great to talk to; great location!

Cielo Cocina Mexicana Menu with Prices 958 111th Ave NE Suite 101, Bellevue

This is my new favorite Mexican restaurant on the East side. It’s located in the former Scotty Brown’s location on NE 8th and 405, with free parking downstairs as well as across the street in the Elements building. I’ve been parking here for free for years and have never gotten a ticket or citation. First off, their prices are decent for being in downtown Bellevue. Combined with their happy hour specials until 6pm, you can get cheap drinks and appetizers. And what’s not yet indicated on their menu or website is that they’re now offering late night happy hour starting at 9pm as well. In terms of the service, I’ve been here about 4-5 times and one of the servers already remembered my order. Last night we were waited on by Adriana who was very friendly, attentive, and readily fixed a small mistake in our food order. The food is also great. They provide free chips and salsa, and the salsa is perfect every time – it’s not too mild not too hot. I’m also not a fan of most Spanish rice dishes, but what they serve here I really like. I also usually opt for the picadillo in either a burrito or chimichanga, which is flavorful and they don’t skimp on the portions. The atmosphere here is also great. They have an open kitchen, centrally located bar, and fire pits on the patio during the warmer nights. All in all, a great new addition to Bellevue!

Burn & Brew Menu with Prices 566 23rd St S, Arlington

Knowledgeable staff who is more than willing to educate you or offer up their personal opinion. We have done side-by-side comparisons of many of their products to the shop next-door and this place is in fact cheaper 8 times out of 10. That said, when it is more expensive, it is well justified because the products they choose to stock are of a much higher quality. We won’t buy our Shisha or coffee anywhere else (we still purchase hookah coals on the Internet bec it’s cheaper). We suggest the super premium Shisha that comes rolled up (just not the pear flavor- it’s overpowering). So why only 4 stars? Because the store has such limited shelf space, they are occasionally out of our favorite Shisha flavors, which is always disappointing because that means we have to go next-door to the more expensive place with the subpar products ?

Anchorhead Coffee Menu with Prices 555 110th Ave NE #101, Bellevue

Anchorhead Coffee opens in Bellevue, giving all other coffee shops in Bellevue a run for its money! I’m a fan of Anchorhead Coffee, so when I learned they were opening a Bellevue location, I knew it was gonna be my new jam. I set up a coffee meeting here and arrived early, so I could do some work with a coffee and snack in hand. On a weekday in the morning, the line was comprised of the Bellevue work crew, especially since Anchorhead is located by several tech companies, including Microsoft, in the same tower. Several people ordered their coffee to go, which worked out for me since I had plans of setting up shop at one of the tables. The space isn’t large, so if you plan to work here with a group, you may be fighting for a seat. I ordered the Nitro Mint Latte and a Sea Salt Chocolate Chip Cookie. The Nitro Mint Latte is made with cold brew, milk of your choice and a housemade mint syrup. It was awesome! I really liked that it was made with cold brew, giving it a less-acidic and more smooth taste. The mint was abundant, but didn’t taste artificial. I chose oat milk with my drink, which I recommend. I would happily order the nitro mint latte again. And whenever I see chocolate with sea salt I just have to have it. Something about the salty flavor bringing out the chocolate! My cookie was soft and crispy on the edges, which was yummy. Glad to have Anchorhead Coffee in downtown Bellevue…and it’s open on the weekends and stays open ’til 7pm. They serve damn good coffee, make their own syrups, including Intrigue Chocolate for the chocolate syrup (and sell their chocolate bars!), and have small bites. I have my eye on the biscuit sandwich for whenever I need breakfast. But coffee is a must here.

Healthy Life Salon Menu with Prices 203 SE 1st Ave, Boca Raton

You will be very happy you came to this salon. My first appointment was for a color, cut and style from the owner Juli. Previously, I had been “salon hopping” trying to find just ONE salon that can achieve both an excellent color and cut….. its usually been just one or the other. I have finally found it! Her salon is very unique with pure hair and skin products and an assortment of organic teas and wine. It was a personal, relaxing experience and I felt very cared for while I was there. Juli believes in clean products for your skin and hair and is knowledgable re both. Her 30 years as a stylist place her skill level way above other stylists I have been to. She is excellent at what she does and takes her time in getting everything just right. I am grateful that I went to her salon yesterday and especially LOVE the end result…..no disappointments here!!! The Fruit Bowl – Menu with Prices – 8767 E Waterloo Rd, Stockton

A nice roadside fruit stand, with indoor and outdoor dining. The fruit is great, about as fresh as you can get, since most of it comes right out of their orchard. Who knew there were so many varieties of peaches?! The rest of their groceries are interesting too. An eclectic mix of local products and stuff from Italy. They are also known for their pies, and rightfully so. Often times, we’ll get them for our holiday gatherings. Their gelato is also good. Their savory products are just ok, but certainly not bad for a fruit stand. This is a family run place mainly. The service is attentive, without being cloying or insincere. After all, not many people can spend the day in a non-air-conditioned roadside stand in 90-105 degree Summer heat and have a stupid smile on their face. If they did, I wouldn’t turn my back on them for fear of ending up in the pies Sweeny Todd-style…but I digress. Bottom Line: It’s definitely worth a stop. Get some fresh fruit or some pie and you won’t be disappointed (although I was bummed I missed apricot season this year…I guess I need to go out there more often or get an Old Farmers Almanac to know what’s in season). As far as the prices, the fruit is usually quite reasonable, and I don’t begrudge them for being more expensive than big grocery chains or warehouse stores. First, their stuff is better. Second, I’d rather pay a couple extra bucks to the local little guy to help keep him in business…it does the soul good.

KuKuRuZa Gourmet Popcorn Menu with Prices 2033 Bellevue Square, Bellevue

I am not Chinese, and I have not been to China, so I have nothing to compare these crepes to, but I have to admit I like them! The crepe is not similar to a french crepe, not a burrito wrap, but it is good. It is made with wheat and grains, and eggs? I had the Peking duck crepe, good flavor, and it was filling enough for me. The only problem is if I want more cucumber or cilantro, it costs an additional 1:50$ for each item, which is totally not worth the additional cost. For a crepe that costs already 13$, these could be very expensive to add just a sprig of cilantro! Or green onions… ! I deducted one star because I expected some crispy duck skin, well, you know, Peking duck to me= crispy crunchy skin… my wait time was about 10 minutes. By the time I finished my crepe, they are already on another 12th order, so I can say business is good. This is a nice addition to Bellevue Square. The place is tiny, only about six stools inside, and 2 tables in the walkway. But I saw Asian ladies with Gucci bags have these crepes for lunch, so they must be pretty authentic!! I would be back to try the other items on the menu.
