Never experienced such a poor customer service ever. My wife and I came for the first time here on a Saturday around 8:30pm. The waiting area was empty, but the dinning was about 60% full. It’s a rather tiny place. As soon as you walk in, there is a bar and a gal on the register who seem to be too busy to acknowledge us. About 3 minutes went by and a thin bold old man with an apron walked into the bar area looked at us but also ignored us. Another 2 or 3 minutes went by and finally the gal on the register looked at us and without a greeting she said two? We repeated yes two. She looked towards the dining area and she said something to the thin bold man, but nothing to us. Another 3 or 4 minutes went by and two guys came in, the thin bold man seem excited and said to them ” Long time no see you”! And started a conversation. I decided to go to the restroom and about 10 minutes when I came out, my wife was still waiting. She looked sad and said… the bold man tap the shoulder of one of the guys and told him to follow him, after he came back and asked me if I have a reservation, I said no, and he just walked away and said nothing. So at that point we just left. Unprofessional, disrespectful, rude behavior will never earn my business.

Blue Reef Sushi & Grill – Menu with Prices – 1080 S Broadway #201, Lexington

I used to love going here. Key word: used to. On this most recent visit, I walked in and stood there for about 10 minutes waiting at the register. While waiting, I noticed an older gentleman behind the glass on his phone. I waited a few more minutes, still nothing. I walked up to the side the gentleman was on and tried to get his attention by politely saying “excuse me.” He never looked up from his phone, no acknowledgement whatsoever. So, I walked out. There were two other gentlemen who were dining in and saw the whole exchange. Even they were surprised by what happened…or I guess, didn’t happen. Needless to say, I’m disappointed as I’ve experienced such bad customer service from here.

Chicken Salad Chick – Menu with Prices – 2855 Medical Center Pkwy F, Murfreesboro

Walked in at 1205 and there was no line to order! Cashier was friendly and welcoming. There seemed to be plenty of staff and the place was packed inside and out… There were several people waiting for orders and they were expressing concern that they were waiting a long time… One lady said she was waiting 25 minutes. At 1225 my name was called and I grabbed my order and was out the door trying to get back to work with not only my food but I had bought my wife food as well. I should have checked the boxes… Her order seemed right except her side dish of broccoli salad was wilted and rubbery. My order was completely wrong, won’t sandwich, wrong side and no scoop. I checked the receipt got back in the truck and went back to the restaurant. Again the line was short to order and plenty of people at the front of the store. I went to the pick up register and tried flagging down one of three people who were walking back and forth. After 5 minutes someone asked if I needed help and I explained what was going on, she laughed grabbed the box looked at the guy in the kitchen and said “hey Will remember that order mix up, well here it is!” They all had a quick chuckle and a few minutes later “Will” plopped my container back in the window. A different employee grabbed it asked what it was and came over to me. She was unclear of what was going on but at least was apologetic. I checked the box , looked like it was right and left. Finally at 130 I was back at work eating quickly at my desk so I could make a meeting 15 minutes later. This is the second time I’ve had this the of experience but at least the first time the staff was apologetic and sincere unlike this time. In a town with so many food options customer service and focus on detail have to be#1. I can get chicken salad elsewhere or do without.

Penn Station East Coast Subs – Menu with Prices – 4827 Davis Lant Dr, Evansville

Tonight my boyfriend and I went to the Penn Station on Davis Lant. We placed our order and noticed it was taking awhile… the business started to pick up more when a group of guys came in after we had been waiting about 20 minutes and got their food before we did. They were very understaffed, only two workers, lady about 40 and the other about 20. After it had been past 30 minutes, I asked if they had started my order yet. The younger lady had to ask the other worker twice to get her to answer and the older lady working replied “well I can” with an attitude. She seemed to go in the back a lot and possibly be doing prep instead of working on our order. Although the cashier (2nd register where you pay), the younger lady, (her name tag said Katelyn) I noticed how busy she kept herself and she kept a smile on her face with a pleasant attitude while greeting customers. But since the older lady at the first register had not yet started on our order after over a half hour, I asked for my money back. It was a disappointment. And I felt bad for the hard working young lady having to deal with upset customers over having to overly wait on their food because the other worker wasn’t staying on the #1 task of a restaurant: making customers orders. There were several others who had been waiting almost as long as we had.

Zero Degrees – Menu with Prices – 3401 W Airport Fwy #138, Irving

***attention customer service rep who responded: i don’t have any contact information for you, but the occurrence was 14 days ago and the time was 11am, when the business opens. this was also on the screenshot showing my call attempt. please inbox me if you need further details so i can respond privately. thanks. just walked in and i assume i would have been customer #2 for the day. someone was already sitting and waiting for their order. you can clearly look back to the kitchen area, and i saw a man and a woman engaged in conversation. i stood there for four minutes, waiting to be acknowledged, but i wasn’t. all of this despite the fact that the portly gentleman with glasses looked at me twice. he probably didn’t know i was looking right at him because i was wearing sunglasses. i called the number on yelp for the business to let them know someone was waiting to order…no one answered. then i saw a guy come from where i assume is the restroom-again, no acknowledgement of me standing there. he went into the kitchen area as well. you clearly don’t want my business today, or ever. fuck you, too! i won’t be stepping foot in your establishment again.

URBAN SMOKE INC. – Menu with Prices – 1725 Santa Clara Dr, Roseville

If 0 stars was available, is definitely utilize the button. I walked into the lounge and was never greeted or acknowledged. The place was not even busy, in comparison to other lounges. I have visited lounges throughout the US and this is by far the worst. I waited 30 minutes and no-one said anything. The coal boy got eye contact with me on several occassions. It almost feels as if I’m watching a bad movie. I’ve also heard the owner exclaim that he is the properties of the terrible lounge more than 5 times. After waiting 30 minutes, I walked up to the register and the 3 guys sitting there stared and made faces. I asked where do I order? The coal boy… who was a complete jack hole…. took my order. There were very limited flavors, he had no idea what fumari was… he just kept saying lemon mint. I then asked what type of bowl do you use? He said everyone gets the vortex. I asked for the fojuil option… the rude ass then said everyone gets vortex. I laughed. He asked for my ID… then he said you have to pay me… I said how much is your hookah? Uhhh… $22. When I asked for a coal refill…. I was told that it costs $5. Hahaha… I should have just packed a bowl at home and saved my money.

Malcolm’s Ice Cream & Food Menu with Prices 2100 Paramount Blvd, Amarillo

I took my nieces to Malcom’s for ice cream/sundaes. I figured it would be something fun to do with them. But I was wrong. We stood at the door for a minute. With no service just being stared at by two waitresses (one of them I know. The other one wearing ear gauges) and some more in the back. I looked at my phone. The time was 2:19 PM. I looked over on the south side of the register. I saw 3 booths opened; 2 of them not wiped down, the other one was and the waitress with the ear gauges “pretend” to wipe where she left the towel and walked to the back. Being stared at by waitresses along with the customers still with no service to the point of being uncomfortable; I finally walked up to the register and asked what I need to do to be seated. The girl at the register said “just seat yourself.” We walked around the corner to the north side of the register. There were two booths opened but not wiped down. We stood by one of the booths. We waited and no one came to wipe it down for us. I finally walked out of there! I looked at my phone and the time was 2:25 PM. I ended up taking my nieces to Braum’s where it’s much friendlier and the atmosphere was a lot better. They were relieved from not being stared at. Being Asians standing there awkwardly and not being acknowledged but stared at I was uncomfortable. We were uncomfortable! I’ve been to Malcom’s for the last 10 years during my lunch hour with my coworkers and have never experienced this before. YOU CAN SAY I’M NOT GOING BACK! I wouldn’t recommend any minorities going there either unless you wanted to be ignored and stared at!

Keystone Roadside BBQ Menu with Prices 5052 Cetronia Rd, Allentown

I’ve been trying to figure out exactly how to express my experience at Keystone BBQ.. mainly because, it never had a chance to happen! There were two guys working the grill and prep station making sandwiches for the 3 customers ahead of me. At first I thought maybe they were just trying to get their orders rolling before taking mine.. then 5 minutes passed.. still wasn’t even greeted.. normally I’d expect something like “Hello, we’ll be right with you!” But not even an acknowledgement that I was standing in front of the register. Between 5-10 minutes there were two couples that had lined up behind me and ultimately left because no one was taking orders or acknowledging the customers in line.. finally, after 12 minutes of waiting I walked away without ever having been greeted or acknowledged in any way. No eye contact, no smile, nothing. But, since I was there to watch them prep the three sandwiches for the customers ahead of me I can tell you that this place is just like any other fast food restaurant. Nothing is fresh. Every piece of meat or food I saw them prepare was cold or frozen and then heated up. They also use Sweet Baby Rays bbq sauce, which admittedly I like, but I think seeing huge containers used to fill up their squeeze bottles just put a bad taste in my mouth overall. If I’m you, I’d remind the owner by not eating at this place, that good businesses are ones where addressing your customers presence and welcoming them to your establishment is your #1 priority outside of the actual quality/taste of the food.. for comparison, look at how Chick-Fil-A runs their business..

Firetrail Pizza-Reno – Menu with Prices – 16 S Sierra St, Reno

So we walked up and the girl behind the counter completely ignored us so we politely asked for a margarita pizza and told us she would “be with us in one minute”. So we sat down at the closest table about 6 feet away waiting for her to be ready for us. About 2 min later 2 different parties walked up and she took their order to which we hopefully thought she would still be making our pizza before the people who came after us. Unfortunately she made the other people pizzas and continued to take more orders until I walked up to ask again if she had remembered our order . She not so kindly replied “I tried to ask you guys but you ignored me”. Wow. No we definitely did not ignore her , we had been waiting right there to hear from her and were whispering distance away. So I politely said thank you and walked away. It was not a positive experience and would not order from this place again if she was working .

Jimmy John’s – Menu with Prices – 3023 Wilshire Blvd, Santa Monica

Food was great, consistent as always. Minus one star for not guiding your first job hires well. This is important life $h!* people. Learn some basic skills while you work at a sandwich shop. When I walked in, took a minute for anyone to acknowledge or greet me. When I ordered with the young girl at the register, she didn’t speak.. I told her my order and she put it in but just looked at me.. and I said, that’s it. and she said nothing, entered it.. looked at me.. and I looked at the register and said ok sooo.. $10.23? And she said yes. Then I handed her a $20 and as she pressed enter, I said oh well lemme see if I have 23 cents. And this girl could not make basic change in her head from $20.23 – $10.23. So I said whatever it’s fine just give me whatever it’s telling you. Then after she handed me my food and change, she turned around and walked away like she was clueless and no one said thank you, no one said have a good day. So while my sandwich was delicious as usual, I can’t stop thinking about how subpar that service was and what she will contribute to the world.

Seafood Alley Fresh Seafood Market – Menu with Prices – 35 Spring St #A, Charleston

Dropped by one afternoon after work and brought some takeout home. After reading several reviews I decided to try this place out. Plus, it was right down the street from some of my favorites establishments including Tapio, Five Loaves, and Xiao Bao Biscuit just to name a few. Environment: I parked directly in font of the place and was surrounded by a lot of foot traffic. My first impressions were this was not a place if you have kids or I wouldn’t even have my wife go alone. Right across the street were several homeless guys sitting on the sidewalk and appeared like waiting for a bus or something. When I walked in, there were two other ladies waiting for takeout. There were no tables to eat at and mainly looked like a place you can buy fresh seafood to be prepared and cooked at home. There was a menu on the wall, along with several paper menus everywhere including the cashier counter. Service: I glanced at the menu and decided to go with an order of “Garlic Shrimp” for $15.99. There were no descriptions on there, just the fact that they came with approximately (12-16 count). The lady took my order, charged my card and told me that it would be like 15 minutes. After standing for that long with no available seating, I finally got my order. Food: After driving all the home, I finally was able to taste the seafood I was yearning and able to see what I ordered versus the box it was in. The shrimp tasted okay for me, however, my wife thought it was kind of too spicy for her taste. The shrimp was covered with crushed red pepper and had a strong salty flavor. After my wife’s comment, I realized the only thing I could really fast was the red pepper. We believe, without the red pepper, they may actually have a decent flavor. My suggestion to the place is either describe the dish on the menu for those who would not have ordered it if they knew how spicy it was. Price: On the high end for what you got. For $15.99 + tax, you could go to another seafood restaurant and get your seafood craving.

Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen – Menu with Prices – 311 S Rosemead Blvd, Pasadena

This place need to hire a new manager. I get here at 930(online shows closes at 11pm) I see a line of 5 people waiting for orders. I stand waiting at register for at least 15 mins. Now while im waiting to just get my order taken. I see who I presume is the manager on duty (guy in blue shirt) he is walking back and forth mumbling to himself. Knocking down paper and trays. Complaining that its too busy and saying (dont these people know we close at 10) Does this guys really not want business. Or maybe he just didnt want to work or he doesn’t like his job. I got a sense that the rest of the staff seemed afraid that this manager was going to snap at any second. Now I’m still waiting and this manager calls my name. He says all I have is this(points finger at what’s left in chicken.) Ask if I want that or want what I ordered? Um of course I want what I ordered. This is now another 20 mins after I ordered. He is saying it’s going to be another 20 mins , since they have to make it. I said I’ll wait. He then tells me to go wait outside, because the lobby is closed. Why leave when other customers are still sitting and eating. By the way there are 2 other customers after me. And he wants us all to leave because the lobby is closed. No I dont thinks so. This guys is being such a tool. He is still complaining that all day they had 5 customers and now the customers wont stop coming in. Doesn’t he know that it’s a good thing to be busy and make money. Still the other staff looks unsure on what to do . Not wanting this manager to go crazy. This guys still wont shut up, this whole time complaining and in a bad mood. Still waiting Still waiting Still waiting It’s now 50 mins after is showed up and my orders done , the manager dissapeared for about 15-20mins. He Comes out when I’m leaving and looks around still complaining. The other worker is at least apologetic about wait. By the the signs still says open and there still taking drive thru orders. And the lady after me is still waiting too. This is a long review because I had time to write this since im waited 50 mins because this manager doesn’t know how to manage. Tip to owner of store. Get rid of this guy. He makes customers not want to come back. I will drive the other way next time just to avoid his attitude and wait
