The food was pretty good not the worst I’ve had in Arizona but also not the best! I got a burrito. The reason for the lack of stars is because they seem to be very dirty and have little respect for health codes. While sitting there waiting to order, I watched the cook do at least 5 different things that are health violations. There was no hand washing site available in sight so I can’t imagine they wash their hands before handing food. If you are okay with people being gross while handling youre food, then you’re fine to eat here but if you’re like me and notice everything health related, it will make you sick to your stomach… The cook was sitting on a dirty bucket texting on his phone (he scratched at his nose and head a couple times) and after I order he popped up, threw some gloves on and started touching everything. Just because you put gloves on doesn’t mean you’re being clean…. I tried this place to try it, but I can say with certainty that I’ll never be back

Sultan’s Hookah Palace – Menu with Prices – 7201 Arlington Ave, Riverside

Came in around 11:50 and waited about 5 or so minutes until someone came out to serve me. ? asked about one flavor that’s on the menu but apparently isn’t carried and then when ? asked about another flavor as I was reading the menu, ? got no response. Wtf? Looked up to see the cashier texting on his phone. Apparently that text was more important than his customer. If you’re gonna be playing on the phone while someone is asking you for something they’re trying to pay you for, either learn to multitask or put your phone down and give the customer a simple 2 minutes out of your day. After all, isn’t that why you’re there to begin with? ? walked out and got into my car which was parked in front and he didn’t even notice ? walked out. Still busy on his phone. Sucks because from what ? see this place is usually pretty decent, but whoever was there tonight is way off the mark

Tropical Smoothie Cafe – Menu with Prices – 8928 Lyra Dr, Columbus

The food and smoothies are delicious! It is a very clean and aesthetically pleasing place to grab lunch. It’s right off of the highway too so if you are traveling, again this is a quick and healthier place to stop vs. driving through a fast food restraint. That being said, the staff is not the best. When I walked up to the register, there was a lady just texting and looking down at her phone. I went to order and she kept texting and didn’t make eye contact. I repeated myself and she continued to look down and said “hold on” and I had to wait for about 2-3 minutes. When I ordered, she was not kind. It is important to have good communication with customers. If she needed to send a text, she could have communicated and asked if I could wait five minutes because she has an important message to send or, she could have asked one of the 4-5 other people working to cover her while she spends time texting rather than just being rude.

Antojitos Yoly – Menu with Prices – 1191 FM802, Brownsville

Okay so I like these tacos and I honestly thought they were some of the better ones in Brownsville, but today when I went I saw something rather disturbing and gross. The cook who was preparing the food in the back was not wearing gloves which, honestly, isn’t a very big deal because most taco places are like that around here. Anyway, he was asked to take out an order to a parked car so he walked through the restaurant, opened the front door, gave the car their order, grabbed the front door handle again, but noticed that one of the doors was still locked. He opened the other door which required him to pull two levers on the top and the bottom of the door. He then walked back to the kitchen and shook the other cook’s hand, who was also not wearing gloves, then proceeded to dip his dirty and disgusting bare hands into the meat and lettuce container to make someone’s tostada order without washing them. This was honestly disgusting. Especially when anyone in the restaurant has a clear view of the kitchen. Other than that the tacos were good and we could see that they were not made by that person.

Pansang’s Filipino Cuisine – Menu with Prices – 2260 Otay Lakes Rd #103, Chula Vista

2 stars only because the food was decent…everything else was downhill from there… Came in and waited behind a couple in front of me who was ordering; I noticed the server wasn’t wearing any gloves, but I gave her the benefit of the doubt thinking she washed her hands prior to handling the food. She rang up the customers in front of me, handled their money, took my order and plated all my food… No handwashing, no gloves, nothing! Afterwards she rang me up, and did the same thing, handled my money then began serving the next customer behind me without washing her hands or gloving up. After working in a restaurant for 7 years I know this is in fact a health code violation, but I digress. Went home and was pleased the food tasted pretty good; the fried pork was crunchy, and the beef stew was flavorful. I didn’t think to write a review until the next day… When my wife and I both woke up with upset stomachs… I’ll save the fine details, but it’s safe to say our water bill will probably be higher this month due to all the toilet flushes…being from the Philippines, my wife has always had an iron stomach, but whatever we ate had her stomach upset as well. Give this spot a try if you wanna get some decent Filipino food in the Eastlake area, but be warned they’re not the most hygienic of places. You might wanna load up on probiotics before visiting as well.

Coffee Kiosk – Menu with Prices – 26833 Bouquet Canyon Rd, Santa Clarita

One of us got coffee, the other got ice tea and we both got bad stomach aches while drinking the drinks. When we stopped drinking the drinks, the stomach aches went away and when we started drinking again, the stomach aches returned. Within an hour, we were both on the toilet, feeling the pain. For both of us to feel stomach pains but be drinking different drinks, we think they must be using dirty/contaminated water (perhaps they’ve forgotten to clean their water filters?) as whatever water they use would be the only commonality between our two drinks. Very disappointing as the drinks tasted good but we had to throw them away due to the stomach pains. Will not be returning.

Sweet Baby Jane’s Home Cooking – Menu with Prices – 3620 Satellite Blvd, Duluth

This is by far one of the worst experiences I’ve had while eating out at a restaurant. Ate here on Sunday 07/21/19 with my parents and uncle. I knew the food would not be good from the moment I stepped foot inside but my uncle wanted to eat here for his birthday. I only ate a salad and some Mac and cheese because I could not stomach anything else. The croutons in my salad tasted old and soggy and the Mac and cheese was just a frozen product that was reheated in the oven, so bland and half cold. It’s laughable that this place describes themselves as “home cooked”. Well not only did I not enjoy the food one bit but my parents did not either and my dad had already eaten half of a fried chicken leg when he sees it still bloody inside!!! This place is serving raw chicken!! I asked the hostess if I could speak to the manager and she said he was not there today and I told her that raw chicken is being served here and it can make someone sick. She said okay, I will tell the kitchen and also said and I quote “we had a busy lunch rush, maybe couldn’t cook the chicken all the way”. Um what?! That could cause salmonella poisoning! I said I wanted a refund for this awful and uncooked food and she said no refund. She kept saying “I’m sorry, I’m sorry”, and I had to continuously argue with her about the dangers of serving raw chicken and how my father could get very sick from this. She gave us one buffet price back which was $9.50 when we paid $40 for this trash food. Very upset with this place and how they conduct business. I urge you not to eat at this place, it’s a health hazard.

Lanna Thai and Sushi Restaurant – Menu with Prices – 4871 Park St N, St. Petersburg

I really dislike leaving bad reviews. Unless something is awful I really don’t, but this place was bad all around. I stoped by because I wanted sushi. I was never given a sushi menu. I didn’t ask for one, so I’m not going to hold that against them as far as the review goes. I only mention it because if your name has the name sushi in it, your menu should have sushi in it as well. Just a thought. Here is where everything actually went wrong: I ordered the pad Thai, and an order of rolls. When my pad Thai came out, the girl brought out two orders of rolls. I asked why and she said one order was complimentary with happy hour. I didn’t know this. Common sense would dictate that there’s only one of me so I’m not going to eat all of these rolls, is it really so hard to ask before placing the second order? Also, it was 2pm, there was hardly anyone in there yet my food took over 40 minutes to come out. When it finally came out, my pad Thai tasted like rancid grease. I managed to eat about 1/4 of my food, but I really couldn’t stomach much more. She also took forever to bring my bill out even though she wasn’t doing much of anything. I kept trying to wave her down and she kept walking around aimlessly. About 20 minutes into my drive home (I live about 60 minutes from this establishment) I got THE worst stomach ache. I had to pull over at the nearest gas station restroom and was basically so sick to my stomach I had to purge everything out. I was very sick for the next 24 hours. I don’t know how on earth they have so many 4 and 5 star reviews. Everything from the poor customer service to the awful food sucks here. Maybe the sushi is better but after my bad experience I wouldn’t step foot in here ever again.

Tacos Mexico – Menu with Prices – 205 W Base Line St, San Bernardino

Terrible customer service they handle the food with their bare hands I sat there and watched three cooks use their bare hands one guy was flipping some kind of meat on the grill using his hands to turn over the meat with no plastic gloves on his hands the guy who made my tacos wore no gloves he grabbed hands full of cilantro and onions and placed them on my tacos he folded them and wrapped them in foil he had no plastic gloves on then I watched a lady restock the fresh sliced limes using her bare hands to put limes in the container just nasty another time I watched a woman wiping sweat from her for head using her for arm while folding several burritos all I could think was I hope theses people wash their hands on the day I seen the lady wiping sweat from her head I happened to get the worst stomach ache I ever had my stomach hurts for a week I had diareah that lasted several days I use to go here at least twice a week but the last straw for me was when they screwed up my order sold me a very nasty tasting chicken burrito I tried but couldn’t eat the thing it tasted horrible I brought it back to them they said I ate half of it I told them yes I did and I wanted to eat the whole thing for one it was mine for two the idea is to eat what u pay for and I would have eaten the whole thing but I couldn’t it was just too nasty tasting and had a funny sour odor coming from the chicken and when I tried return it they told me to come back later when a manager was present I came back a couple hrs later the place is 3 miles from where I live I’m new to this area this was on my time and gas I went back they offered me 3 small tacos for my inconvenience I was very upset with this place I don’t eat tacos like that I fed them to my dog and I won’t be spending another dime in that place they don’t value their customers and they have poor kitchen hygiene if I could give them 0 stars I would ð???ð???be careful what u eat from there and keep a close eye on the cook

Michael’s Pizza & More – Menu with Prices – 2690 Madison St #100, Clarksville

I always try and support locally owned businesses but it is difficult to give them my business when their customer service sucks. It was a Saturday night and I was craving a veggie pizza. I attempted numerous times to place an order by phone but no answer. Then I tried to place an order online but the website kept freezing, so I had to go in person. The restaurant was clean and had a 95 health rating. I walked up to the counter and waited to be greeted by this teenager who was obsessed by her cell phone. She seemed as if I was bothering her as she continued texting while taking my order. I should have ask her to repeat my order so that was my bad and $25 later it was all wrong. I ordered a veggie pizza with no peppers or cheese and a ceasar salad with no cheese. Again my bad cause I neglected to check my order before I left the restaurant. I got home to a veggie pizza with cheese and house salad topped with ham and parmesan cheese. Really I’m Vegan!!! It took me 20 mins. to remove the ham and cheese and the first bite was surprisingly pretty good. The toppings were fresh, the crust was baked golden brown, and salad was flavorful. All and all a nice spot that offers appetizers, salads, sub sandwiches, pizzas, Calzones, and dresserts but desperately needs to improve customer service.

Mink Quan Thai – Menu with Prices – 2821 E Anaheim St, Long Beach

My friend and I went here looking for decent Thai food. Were we mistaken. This place is absolutely disgusting. The menus were so dirty that I had to wash my hands after. Their bathrooms smelled horrible too. The tableware we were given wasn’t completely clean. The table my friend and I sat at still had dirty spots on it. While we waited for our food, I could not find the sign that indicated their letter grade for health inspection; all it said on the window was that their last inspection was on September 2018. How gross is that?! What spoiled my appetite was a hair in my crab fried rice. I didn’t want to say anything because I already doubted they would have done something about it. The woman who served us didn’t seem too friendly. What REALLY spoiled my appetite was that someone came in begging us for money and the owner didn’t do much to stop him other than standing there and saying “go outside.” It wasn’t loud enough for the person to hear, obviously because the person went to another table for money. After that table gave him money, he left. But the owner didn’t apologize or consult that table after. What a way to ruin a meal! I’ve worked in restaurants so I’m aware of the standards for customer service and health safety. This place does not follow either of those things. Now I’m here with a queasy stomach full of regret. Whoever is reading this, do not go here. Zero stars.

Quick & Tasty Mexican Food – Menu with Prices – 4432 Palm Beach Blvd, Fort Myers

Fresh and tasty. They cook to order and cook to perfection with their chicken sandwich. It’s as flaky as fish and tender. TheI establishment could do with a bit of fixing up but I’m to focused on eating a meal so great who could care less. Prices are perfect to fit a sad wallet. The tacos were almost too pretty to eat. Global Bistro – Menu with Prices – 4401 Village Dr, Fairfax

I went here the other day. It’s near my house so I was excited to try it out. Didn’t have a very good experience to say the least. A lot of text below, but to summarize; -Cheap tasting food, for an expensive price. -Employees have not been trained on grettng customers -Employees have also not been trained to change gloves or wash hands. -If you ask for fish, it’s probably raw -Go to sweet green or Cava instead When I went only one guy was behind the counter and two guys were on their phones sitting at one of the tables. The guy behind the counter just finished a transaction with a client and noticed us in line looking at the menu. He walked over but didn’t say anything and just stared at us. We told him we were still looking so he walked away and went on his phone. After we walked up to the counter again he put down his phone and put on an old glove he had been using since before he helped the customer before us, which is kind of gross. He asked what we wanted in a really low voice so he had to ask him to repeat himself over and over again and was sloent otherwise. The other person with me ordered fish but wasn’t told it was raw so the guy on his phone sitting at one of the tables got up to help us. He put on new gloves, but didn’t wash his hands. The first guy who used the old glove and also didn’t wash his hands reach in to several of the tubs to get our food without a spoon. He put the raw fish in her bowl and after we asked for the other option of wish, he pulled it out and threw it in the trash and replaced it with the second option. I asked for chicken, which is pre cooked. And kale as well as white rice and sweet sesame sauce. I used my discount I got in the mail to pay and it was STILL far to expensive for the amount of food I had in my bowl. (I’ll upload pictures of the food). The kale was very cheap and the rice tasted like microwave rice. The chicken was okay, and the sauce was great, but I didn’t finish the meal and neither did the person I was with even though we were both very hungry. He put the food in the trash and went to sweet green instead in Reston. I was much better and worth the drive.
