I love mac and cheese and they did theirs right. A bit too much sauce, but delicious taste. Would definitely go back just for mac and cheese. We got the feast for two for almost $40 with tax and an extra side. We ordered double tri tip since that’s in their name. It was fairly dry. Too dry without sauce. The rolls were cold, which was unfortunate. The veggies side were a very large portion with really good size veggies. Overall we’d return. The tri tip is DELICIOUS when cold for the next day. Way better than at the restaurant. Side note they ask for a tip when you sign for the receipt when you place your order. I never understood places that did that. I have no idea how the food or service is going to be, but I should tip up front? Literally all that happened was she took our order. Does that deserve a tip? I’m happy to tip after the meal, but before is just annoying.

Happy Chicken – Menu with Prices – 119 Bloomfield Ave, Newark

The food is great, however: I went there today, right after work to purchase 6 empanadas and a sausage with tostones. I’m placing my order and the person is getting my order together but, is very much involve in a conversation with a fellow co-worker and another customer. I had asked where are the straws and please give me two of their spicy sauce. This Employee, gave me a look, like really, acknowledged what I ask for and immediately continued the conversation with other two people. I felt so uncomfortable, I was afraid to ask for anything else. This employee, then proceeded to charge me for the items. I paid with my credit card, he gave me a pen and the Receipt to sign. The pen wasn’t working, he was so busy with his conversation, he did not see me struggling when trying to sign the Receipt. I put the pen down, and used my own pen. At that point, I just said thank you and left the place. I’m in the car now, one block away, I started to take the food out to eat when I realized, the employee only gave me 4 empanadas. Really! I went back, I told the employee, I asked you for 6 you gave me 4 instead. Oh, I understood you ask for 4. I only charged you for 4. Can I have two more please. We have one left, can you wait for the new batch? I said never mind, good bye. What I should of said, if you would of focused doing your job, instead of the conversation, I would of had my ordered filled correctly. SMH!!!

I Love Teriyaki – Menu with Prices – 1850 Douglas Blvd #506, Roseville

The food was good, the service was fast. My rating is based on the integrity. I clearly see on the menu that the brown rice is extra (kinda weird since places such as Chipotle don’t charge). However, nowhere else is it mentioned that you will be charged when asking for “all vegetables” instead of rice and vegetables. My friend and I ordered the same thing (Teryaki) they asked for no veggies/sub a salad and brown rice ($7.99 + 1.25). Then there’s a charge for $3.29 because they ADD the salad as if you’re ordering a side salad. My order; Teriyaki with all Veggies, no rice. They charged me $2.25…. FOR NOT GETTING RICE?! The woman ringing me up quickly left when I asked for an itemized receipt (otherwise I was not going to get one). When I questioned her why I was charged an extra total of $5.54 for substituting a salad and skipping rice, she said because it’s extra to substitute. But that is not posted anywhere? When i continued to try and address my issue, she just walked away. So I advise you to watch how your order, make sure it’s clear what you’re asking and double check and request an itemized receipt.

America?s Best Wings – Menu with Prices – 12551 Jefferson Ave Suite 207, Newport News

I frequently order wings from this place and may I add I usually spend a lot of money here as I order for my family and take a large amount of food to family who live too far to drive here. The sauce is always lacking which is why I order extra sauce. I asked for extra sauce on the side with my wings and when they brought my wings out there was not extra side. The guy proceeded to say it’s on the wings which I said I asked for it on the side AND then he asked who took my order. When he said something to the guy who took my order (instead of just getting the extra sauce) the guy who took the order said it’s on the wings. He goes “you didn’t say you wanted it on the side” in which I said “yes I did”. First I’m a paying customer don’t argue with me about some sauce and secondly it doesn’t matter if I did or did not GET THE SAUCE. Horrible customer service and I won’t be returning. It’s already annoying to have to ask for extra sauce because they do not know how to properly sauce their wings. I refuse to give them my money just to be argued with.

Fuzzy’s Taco Shop – Menu with Prices – 205 E Nifong Blvd Suite 200, Columbia

Well, we had a very disappointing experience here on an otherwise beautiful day. First, after way too long I approached the order counter and saw our order. I told the manager (standing there) I thought it was our order. She said, “no, we’ve paged these.” I said I thought our pager was broken, but she ignored me at first, like I was standing too close and making trouble. Finally when it was obvious I wasn’t going to leave, she took the receipt I had been holding, and said, “You got the wrong pager,” in a tone like it was my fault. I noted the food was ice cold, and she said she’d have it remade and bring it to us. No apology offered up, and no ownership of the problem. The food came quickly after that, but there was cheese in my order which was highlighted in red on the receipt, “no cheese.” I didn’t say anything more, we are Columbia residents, I work at the University. We are not coming back, there are too many good Mexican food alternatives.

Saltgrass Steak House – Menu with Prices – 8440 International Dr, Orlando

The first time we went, right after they opened, it was ok. My steak was decent; though not cooked correctly. Service was just ok. Having been to their Lake Buena Vista location – which was great – we went back to this location and give it a second shot. Unfortunate idea. It was 7:45 and the place was fairly slow. We were the only people sitting at the bar. Bartender took our drink order and got them out fast. Placed our order, and that was the last we saw of the bartender for awhile. We both needed refills and he was no where to be found. Our fried mushrooms came out and were good. Little did we know they would be the best part of the meal. Both my boyfriend and I ordered the Nashville Hot sandwich. I have previously had it at the another location, and it was fantastic. It took a solid 20+ minutes after the app for the two sandwiches to come out. The first thing I noticed was my side of mac and cheese was just mac. There was no cheese on the noodles. The bar manager overheard me pointing it out to my boyfriend, and offered to get me something else. I declined, figuring the sandwich was really enough. We bite into our sandwiches, and the chicken was room temperature at best, teetering on cold. Our “Nashville hot” had no hot sauce on it. It was the most bland sandwich ever. I asked the bartender about the sauce and he leaned in for a closer look at our sandwiches and said that if they put sauce on it, it was way too little. He went to get more. By this time, the sandwiches were actually cold. The “Nashville hot” sauce, was not hot at all. It was honey based and runny. It had some sentiment at the bottom of the bowl that looked like pieces of burnt bread. The manager came back over and I told her that the sauce seemed off and just tasted like honey. She said it was honey sriracha – which is nothing like Nashville Hot sauce. We left the sandwiches there, paid our bill and left. We’re local, and just scratched it off the list of places we’ll be going. I will say, to her credit, the manager asked if we wanted dessert. We declined.

Platnum BBQ – Menu with Prices – 400 President Clinton Ave, Little Rock

This order was placed through Bite Squad. I ordered a brisket sandwich with mac n cheese. When it arrived, EVERYTHING was cold. The container that it came in wasn’t even warm. I also asked for extra BBQ sauce on the side. I got neither the BBQ sauce nor eating utensils to eat the mac n cheese. I guess they figured it wouldn’t matter if I had any utensils since they sent the food to me cold. So, the food MAY have been good. I can’t say for sure because I trashed it because I’m not about to eat cold food. I won’t place anymore orders with this place as there are better BBQ joints in the city. There’s no excuse for sending COLD food. And the only reason I’m giving a 1 star rating is because I can’t give less than that. Don’t bother ordering from them or eating there. It’s a waste of time and money.

Restoration Pizza Menu with Prices 5161 Lang Ave NE Suite A, Albuquerque

Maybe I’m a pizza snob. IDK. I mean, it’s possible. First off, the quality of the ingredients on our pizza was stellar. That wasn’t my issue. We ordered pretzel bites to start, and those were amazing. The beer cheese was the perfect compliment- flavorful with just a little spice to it. We finally settled on a supreme pizza. Veggies. Meat. Cheese. Sauce. What could go wrong? Sigh. This is where my potential snobbiness comes in. Those veggies were basically raw ya’ll. Like, the mushrooms and bell peppers especially were not even kinda cooked. I’m not sure if they forgot them and added them later or what but… no. The cheese was plentiful and deliciously melty. But… there was no sauce to speak of. You couldn’t taste it or see it… yet the pizza was too soggy to pick up as a slice. I still don’t understand. The service was also odd. You seat yourself, which is cool… but we never dealt with the same person twice. One girl got my drink, someone else brought the hub’s beer, yet another girl brought us the pretzel bites, some other guy brought the pizza, and yet a different girl cashed us out. No one asked how our food was because I 100% would have asked for some sauce on the side ya’ll. IDK. I might try it again. It’s def not on my list of places I’d think of when craving pizza

Teriyaki House – Menu with Prices – 4921 Riverside Dr, Macon

The ordering process was almost comical! They charge you extra for everything! If you want egg in your fried race, it’s $.99! I’ve never been asked that before, nor gotten charged extra! Then my son and I were going to split a meal, we weren’t very hungry, and asked for veggies to be placed on side of plate, not mixed in. My son is not a big veggie eater. They charged me $.50 for that! Got my meal and veggies in a separate container that I did not request? Maybe that’s why the additional charge that I did not ask for? We all wanted Coke to drink, but it was out. Noticed the loud, distracting air conditioner someone else commented on. Annoying. Ordered Crab Rangoons and was given wrong sauce. Had to pay $.50 for the right sauce! I paid for their error? Worst Crab Rangoons I’ve ever had. Hardly any filling. We will not be back, ever! Nickle and dimed to death. Very short sided thinking and based on other reviews, the owner does not care. So many better options!

The Corporate Deli – Menu with Prices – 1500 N Priest Dr #126, Tempe

I was finishing up an appointment inside this office building around lunch time and smelled something delicious so I decided to investigate. I found this fantastic little gem and was so happy that I did. There was a fair amount of people eating which is always a good sign since places like this usually have an established clientele. I was greeted promptly and had a hard time deciding but friendly the staff helped guide me to my choice. There were lots of standard and unique menu options and even plenty of healthy eating choices too. I went for the burger with a salad instead of fries and it was fantastic. The burger was on a toasted bun with fresh veggies, and it was juicy and flavoful. The veggies in my salad were also fresh, cold, and crunchy. Overall a fantastic experience. Highly recommend, will be back again!

Hangover Hoagies – Menu with Prices – Hangover Hoagies, 1212 E Apache Blvd # 101, Tempe

This place definitely has it down right. I was a little skeptical for the high praise on Postmates, and referred to Google to check them out and I said well I got to give it a try. Order two sandwiches via Postmates, and I will have to say with 100% pure conviction the best subs I have ever had. Not to say Whichwich or Jimmy Johns or even Capriotti’s, or many other big name sub places are bad, I love those places too. However this place is perfect. I had a minor adjustment in my order which I requested via Postmates, and you all know when ordering through the app it most often than not gets missed and you never get the adjustment ever fulfilled. And I never spoke to someone there. But when I received my order it was correct, the first time! Now you know some places will over load their sub with so much cold cut meat and think that is the trick to delivering a delicious sub, however this place does the write combo of enough meat with the balance of fresh veggies. Not too much sauce, but just the right amount. I can’t really say much more it is worth the try. Prices are extremely fair, $9.99 for a 14″ sub?!!? What a steal! I could not finish it one sitting so I ate the rest later, and that is like 5 bucks a meal, you can’t beat that nowadays and the food is excellent. Anyone out there looking for a great sub and excellent price give them a try.

The Waterway House Sports and Spirits – Menu with Prices – 9814 N Kings Hwy, Myrtle Beach

Another local spot right around the corner from the condo where we were staying and we just happened to see a pizza sign and my son was all smiles from there. This place has a bar on one side and making handmade pizzas on the other side. I believe they offer other menu items but you can see the pizza being made through the window. I had no idea what we were getting into as I didn’t check the reviews prior and I actually went to the restaurant right beside it to order myself some Italian while the pizza was being made. It probably took the pizza about 10 minutes. We ordered just a small size cheese for him and we were both pleasantly surprised that the pizza was absolutely delicious and he enjoyed it so much that we ordered pizza here every night of our stay. The guys making the pizza were so nice and knew when we called the order in that it was for my son again. I’m definitely keeping them on my list to return when we are in the area again.

Subway Restaurants – Menu with Prices – 7081 N Marks Ave Suite 102, Fresno

They’re scammers or they just double charged me and they have no idea how to work the machine i had a coupon for 2 footlongs for 11.99 and i went there to redeem it, the total came out to 20$ just HOW? not even two sandwiches can equal to that PRICE unless i had a chip or cookie or drink i just got the two sandwiches so the receipt shows something extra was charged onto it causing it to go that high but they never gave me the extra cost i have the receipt, which they gave to me face down….
