*Updating* I was running errands with my daughter today when she asked for HB. She loooves their frozen hot chocolate. I decided to say yes and over to the drive thru we went. The girls working were so friendly and the service was perfect. The drinks as always were delicious. I decided it was time to update my review and add a star. My one bad phone call experience shouldn’t overshadow all the quality in person experiences I’ve had.* I’m torn on this review. While the drinks are tasty and the service at the window is typically friendly, the unprofessional phone experience I just had was a turn off. I called to ask questions about their cups. Are they compostable? Can I bring my own reusable cup? Etc. I didn’t get all that far in the call. It rang several times and then was answered with an annoyed “Hi.” I waited a few seconds for her to say something else but she didn’t. So I asked if I had the correct number and she said “Oh, ya. Sorry.” I asked about the plastic being compostabland had to wait while she asked someone else. The answer I got was “No.” I didn’t even bother with my follow up questions I just said thanks and hung up. I know I’m being picky but at your place of employment you should be professional all the time, in person or on the phone. I opted out of the coffee.

Artistik mindz Menu with Prices 3011 W Amarillo Blvd, Amarillo

Dr. Moore is amazing. She takes her time and does not rush. I was had to work on a Saturday and had labored breathing and wheezing. She came to my place of employment and gave me a checkup and faxed in a script for me to pick up after work. Her bedside manner is impeccable. I also had questions about stuff she was having me do and answered her phone immediately when I called. There was no answering service. I am grateful I found out about her.

The Pizza Joint – Menu with Prices – 148 Herbst Ave, Syracuse

First off; Iâ??m not even from around this area and wanted some dinner quick so I thought ordering some pizza and snacks would be good. Well I order through grub hub and the IDIOT who gave the driver my food told him it was the whole order, well he forgot my pizza that wasnâ??t even made yet. Then I call and he tells me that my driver forgot my pizza; the driver told me he asked if that was the whole order so I asked whoever answered the phone ; if they sent my driver without the pizza and they said YES because it wasnâ??t done. Then I asked for a refund and he told me either I get a refund for the pizza only or I can have my pizza. This place is garbage and very unprofessional, on top of that the person who answered the phone was disrespectful.

Maria’s Sweet Deli – Menu with Prices – 149 South St A, Newark

Horrible experience!! I called to make a couple of orders for my coworkers to be delivered and the person taking the orders didnt understand the order. The 1st order was an omelet with onions, peppers, tomatoes, mushrooms and cheese. The second order was grits with cheese and 3rd order of cheese grits with scramble egg and cheese and turkey bacon as a platter. I asked for prices and they were charging me 6.00 for a veggie omelet by its self (which i didnt order) and the omelet with the ingredients that I mentioned before. I started to explain to the person on the other and of the phone that it wasnt correct and it seemed they slammed the phone on their counter and was yelling at a different person and told them to get on the phone to take the order right so im getting upset because this is happening and 30 minutes already passed and they had to take my order again but the coworkers were upset that these people were being unprofessional and started to cancel their orders. They need better

Yogis Grill – Menu with Prices – 1245 W Chandler Blvd #4, Chandler

NEVER COME HERE. The staff is SOOO rude. Walked in, no one said hi or welcomed me. The people in front of me asked lots of questions and she had a terrible attitude the whole time, seriously made my experience miserable. She did not smile once, so extremely rude, if you hate your job that much, maybe it’s time to find a new one. I ordered a to-go chicken teriyaki bowl with noodles. Every time I’ve ordered this, it comes with just chicken and noodles, like I ordered. This time I received my Togo order and there was barely any chicken, noodles with veggies and rice. Not what I ordered at all. And it has never came like that either. I called back and the same girl with the terrible attitude answered argued with me on the phone and basically blamed it all on me and I ordered it wrong…. what the he**? I asked to speak to a manager and she said “There isn’t one here.” So I asked when they would be in and she said she couldn’t give me that information. I asked for the managers name so I could call back and speak with him/ her. She also told me she couldn’t give me their name. So I finally asked if she could write down my information and have a manager call me, she said “Sure” “what’s the name” and I asked if she needed my number and she said no. How is a manager going to call me without having my number? Interesting! A few days later and I have yet to receive a phone call. Yogis grill is the worst company and I will never be giving them business again, hire employees that LIKE THEIR JOB! I hope this place shuts down, they don’t deserve anyone’s business.

Another Broken Egg Cafe – Menu with Prices – 300 Pelham Ave SW Suite A1, Huntsville

The last time we ate here, the waitress charged my card for my table and the table next to me by mistake. So I ended up paying $50 for my meal and $40 for the table next to me without realizing it. When I saw the mistake on my bank account a few days later, I called the restaurant and asked for the manager. The person who answered the phone didn’t want to give me to a manager, and when they finally did, the “manager” I spoke with said she wasn’t authorized to do returns. She told me she would have the manager who can do returns call me immediately. I have never received a phone call and ended up having to dispute the charge through my bank. I was so disappointed to have this experience because the food was amazing. Extremely unprofessional for you to handle a mistake you made like this.

Rinconcito Superlatino 2 – Menu with Prices – 8901 SW 157th Ave, Miami

RANT ALERT… sorry, not sorry Worst Customer Service Experience EVER. Dear Owner/Manager, If you want your business to flourish PLEASE retrain the people that take care of the telephone orders. I first want to clarify that the reason why I resort to the Internet to write this review is because when I went to the restaurant to pick up my order, I asked to speak to the manager, one of the girls answered “for what?” After I repeated that I needed to talk TO HIM she answered that “he had gone out to buy something and wasn’t there at the moment.” I said ok and asked for his name, she answered Juan, and I said “ok, I’ll call him later.” Knowing that the likelihood of him NOT being there (or his name even being Juan) is seldom to none, I won’t even bother in calling since “Juan” will probably never come to the phone. Now, why did I want to talk to the manager in the first place, you may ask… at approximately 4:20pm (1/25/18) my mom called this restaurant (which we often order from) to place an order(all the interactions with BOTH ladies were obviously in Spanish, since, as others have said, they don’t speak english). When they answered, my mom asked what were the specials of the day, she asked her to hold and placed the phone down, WITHOUT placing us on hold. We were listening to her talking to other people for about 4 minutes, but patiently waited. When she finally comes back on the phone she asks again how could she “help us” we asked her AGAIN, “what are the specials of the day?” This time she told us what they were…. I said I wanted the ropa vieja and she asked what sides, I said white rice, but then I said “wait the ropa vieja is the one that has sauce, right?” (I often confuse ropa vieja with vaca frita), I didn’t get an answer so I repeated my question, then I noticed that she had placed the phone down again, because I heard her talking to someone else, she comes back on the phone and repeats “what sides?” By this time my mom had answered my question, so I told the lady I wanted white rice and yuca. She asked, “anything else?” And my mom asked “out of those specials which ones you think is softest meat? because I need a soft meat for my mom” (my 83yo grandma). The lady simply repeated the specials, I could see she was not paying complete attention to us. So my mom asked her “yes but which one of those do you think is softest, it’s for my mom.” Here, she very rudely answered, with these exact words “mire señora tengo la ventana a full so si quiere decida que quiere y pueden llamar para atras” (basically decide what you want and call back). I couldn’t believe my ears, but my mom, who obviously is more patient than I am told her “I was simply asking you which meat you have that is the softest today” she said “ok you want carne con papa?” My mom said “ok, do that with rice and boniato” … and she told us the total is $19.78. That was it for the call. I was obviously furious. I worked in Publix for 4 years, and now have been working at one of the Hospitals with the highest patient satisfaction in Miami (there’s no need to say the name, most will know). My customer service expectations are obviously a little high. But anyone that has ever worked serving the public, be it at a grocery store, a hospital, or a restaurant, knows very well that every customer’s time matters even if you’re serving them over the phone (maybe even more then). This lady tending the window and the phone obviously never had proper training on how to treat the public, or on phone etiquette when it comes to talking to customers. what happened when I went to pick up my order, I already mentioned at the beginning of the review. Dear, Mr. “Juan” if you want more details on this specific visit to your restauran

Wild Greg’s Saloon – Menu with Prices – 22 S Palafox St, Pensacola

We have been going to Wild Greg’s for months now, have even been taking line dance classes every Thursday so the staff has become very familiar with us. The last Friday we went someone stole my phone right off the table so we tried using another phone to call it to see if we could find it. The last attempt to call my phone someone answered we could hear the music in the background. My husband stepped aside by the DJ booth trying to hear if someone was speaking. There were 3 guys doing who knows what in a room right by him. They starting yelling having a panic attack like they obviously were doing something they didnt want my husband to see. They way they got so upset and reacted was very extreme for just stepping over beyond the booth, where there are no signs warning not to go beyond that point. The security blatantly told my husband to leave. He apologized and tried to explain that someone stole his wife”s phone, he was just stepping to the side to hear. They pulled a cop over to kick us out! They didn’t want to hear it or even cared, got really upset at us. We were rudely escorted out! We were kicked out for No real good reason, and minus a phone!

Captain Jim’s Fish Market – Menu with Prices – 2329 E Main St, Rochester

Today was the 3rd attempt to get food from here. The first time the man behind the counter told me that he was too busy to take my order as he just got a large order on the phone. Ok I thought wow that’s interesting but I didnt stress over it I politely walked out thinking ok he just must be short staffed. The 2nd attempt I walked in (same guy) and asked a question to understand what was included in a combo and was told I should have reviewed the menu before I got there! I was literally insulted and walked out now I knew better but I wanted to give a 3rd try maybe I’d was a off day the last time but nope I was 2nd in line not a soul in site, an elderly man asked a few questions placed his order and wouldn’t you know it, I asked what was included with the seafood bake and how long it would take? I was extra nice to the lady because she seemed to be annoyed I assume by something else but wouldn’t you know it she asked me to move aside to take of the lady that JUST walked in behind me right as I said out of my mouth i will take the fish fry. I just turned away and walked out I can’t make this up!I called her to tell her how disappointed I was int he service hshe hung up on me lol I’m not delusional these people pick and choose who they serve. I’m going to prove it by walking in and recording my experience!

Dada Shabu Shabu – Menu with Prices – 4960 Irvine Blvd, Irvine

I have been here several times and I’ve always enjoyed myself. The food here is good and the service is usually pretty good. Unfortunately, my recent experience has caused me to change my mind about ever visiting this store again. This 1-star review is just for their hostess – Aileen. I have never met a ruder, more stuck-up, and snooty hostess on my entire life. We came in a group to celebrate my mother’s birthday I had called around 5 to see if there was an available reservation, and the only available one was around 7:30. For the entirety of our conversation, Aileen was condescending and rude. She spoke in a very belittling tone. As she told me there wouldn’t be an availability for the time slot I was looking for, I took a moment to think about my options. When it was quiet for a few seconds, she screeched HELLO? into the phone call. I think it’s natural to assume I was thinking but if it wasn’t there’s much more polite ways to regain the other person’s attention than by raising her voice. I decided it was best to just make the reservation and come earlier as a walk-in party. I asked my aunt, who had arrived there earlier, to sign-in for us. My aunt is one of the kindest and sweetest woman I’ve ever had the fortune of meeting. I was so angry when I found out that Aileen was also very rude to my aunt. My cousin said she saw her mother being treated like a child and being ignored in a dismissive tone. When I had also arrived there myself, Aileen was also really rude to us again. My mother is a typical Asian mother — she wants to best accomodate everyone as best as possible. She has some walking issues and she asked if we could get these two tables nearby the door. Aileen was again, very condescending and spoke to my mother if she was a child. It was a question, there was no need for the hostile tone in her voice. Lastly, we had to come back to obtain something we had left behind. Our brief conversation together really Aileen’s lack of professionalism and manners. The way she spoke implied she was going to ask a staff member if they had seen the item but then switched to saying I should just walk and obtain it myself. She was so unprofessional and again, spoke in this belittling and rude manner. Save for the hostess, I found the rest of the staff to be helpful in servicing my party. However, as a whole team I believe you’re only as strong as your weakest link and our experience reflects that. I highly urge the managers at Dada to reconsider your employment of Aileen or at minimum a retraining for her and her lack of professional demeanor. She lacks an idea of how to speak to customers and behave with professional decorum. We will no longer be visiting and will take our business elsewhere.

Luigi’s Pizza Menu with Prices 5011 Arctic Blvd H, Anchorage

Please keep in mind before reading this that this is only my second Yelp review I have done within a year (my first and only other review was a positive one). I do not do this often only when it is warranted. I had no idea that a calazone could both be burnt and raw at the same time. But Luigi’s managed it. I had one delivered and as soon as I opened the box I could smell and see how burnt it was on top. I thought “oh well, I will just take off the top burnt level and eat it”. Good thing I did that because then I got to see the raw pizza dough instead of tasting it.When I called to let them know, I could hear the owner in the back ground tell the employee who answered the call that next time I ordered I could get a credit. No one offered to deliver a new one or even apologized. I heard the owner say they were too busy to deliver a new one. I then asked for a credit on my current order. It took talking to three people, with the owner finally getting on the phone to have him give me a credit after I let him know that I would not be ordering anything with them in the future after the service I had to deal with. I know mistakes happen and not every person/business is perfect but it is the way the person/business takes care of the mistake that matters.

Bamboo Hibachi & Wings – Menu with Prices – 1013 Hwy 501 S, Myrtle Beach

Horrible! We ordered habachi via the grubhub when we were vacationing in Myrtle beach. We placed the order at about 7:30p in the hope that habachi would be quick to prepare. At about 8:15p, after the guaranteed delivery time frame, we called the restaurant to check our order status. The one who answered the phone appeared not aware of the order at all. He was not friendly or sounded sorry either. Anyways, we kept waiting. Our (young) kids were all starving and exhausted at that point (as it already pasted their bedtime, and they ate all the snacks we had with us…) We called again at about 9pm. The same person answered the phone – again, he did not sound he cared at all. He didn’t know where the delivery person was. And he sounded he could not wait to call it a day… our food eventually arrived at 9:35p. After more than two hours of waiting, the food turned out disappointing. The beef was too dry and rice was not tasty. Every dish was too salty. (The delivery lady did a good job to keep food warm.) I would say the food was below average among all the habachi dishes I have had. I believe grubhub may be partly to blame. But the attitude of the person at the restaurant was not acceptable. If you do not care about your customers, why would you even bother to be in this business?
