I have been here a few times since they have been opened. I mostly come on Fridays when the band, ATL DreamVision, is here. They are a pretty good band and showcase their talents all across the town. When the band is not here there is a Old School night going on. The music is Old School R&B and the drinks are pretty cheap. They are good when there is a good bartender. The lady bartender sucks!!! I don’t even know why they even hired her or pay her because she didn’t even know how to make a Shirley Temple, and that’s a pretty basic drink!!! The bathrooms are really nice here too. I like that they have a door to each stall in the bathroom for added privacy. This club hasn’t been opened but for a few months so they are still trying to gain a crowd. Before this club there was another club here and there was a fatal altercation which forced them to close and this business came to be. I enjoy myself when I come here so I can see myself coming more often.

Mastrella’s Irondequolt Steak – Menu with Prices – 4300 Culver Rd, Rochester

I went to see The All Inn Band on a Saturday night, no cover charge. I have also been there before to eat. The food was good and drinks reasonable. When we approached the bar for our first drinks, the bartender was in front if us and we waited for her to finish texting on her phone before she acknowledged us, not very professional. When there is a band the tables from the band area are added to the other tables, it makes it difficult to walk around, very crowded.

duende at silo city – Menu with Prices – 85 Silo City Row, Buffalo

Last night a friend introduced me to this hidden gem, and it has immediately become my new favorite bar. Nestled in Silo City, the unassuming brick building looks like like it could be a small school or daycare or office space, judging from what you can see in the many windows outside, but that couldnâ??t be more wrong. When you step inside, itâ??s a little hipster haven of a bar- but in a good way, not in an obnoxious way. The original flooring and walls were there, giving it an authentic feel. There was a large bluegrass band playing when I went, and that only added to the perfect Sunday drinking vibe. The bar is at the back, thereâ??s plenty of dancing and hanging around space in the main area, and thereâ??s a few nooks with chairs ot snuggle into. The bar has a neat setup, and has this â??uâ?? shape that sticks out from the middle, allowing for more seating, giving the bar more visual impact. Kevin the bartender, was as adorable as he was great, dressed to the nines in a vest, bowtie, and hat. The collection of bar books on display in the back left was a nice touch, including vintage cocktail books lined up alongside Bartending for Dummies. I loved that! They had a small but very well thought out list of snacks, and we had the meat and cheese plate. It had a nice variety of treats and went great with my wine. I wished I got there earlier so I could stay past closing, but thatâ??s life. The bathrooms were also very clean and modern- with a neat bubbly hammered metal covering at the lower half of the windows, providing both privacy and style. Just being in a bar along all the old siloâ??s was SO Buffalo, and so charming- it is probably the coolest place I have been to in a long time, and I felt like I was in on this amazing secret. I canâ??t wait to go back!

The North Door Menu with Prices 501 Brushy St, Austin

Came here with a group of friends. A few of us had to use the bathroom and when we tried to go through the door, the doorman slammed the door closed as we we going through it and started banging on the door on a sign that said something about a party inside. I get it, if there was a private event going on, that’s totally fine. They deserve to have the area they reserved. No problem there. The doorman wasn’t infront of the bathroom door, he was 15 ft away from it, and had no objection to you walking by him unless you were going to the bathroom door. The manor in which he literally slammed the door and his method of explanation was completely uncalled for and rude. I cannot imagine the owners of this business would approve of their employee acting this way. This 1-star rating is completely on the door guy acting like a complete jerk. Bad employees = bad ratings.

Club Sugarhill – Menu with Prices – 710 S Reynolds Rd, Toledo

I’m so happy that there is a spot for live jazz in Toledo again. Those of u from here remember Murphys n Rusty’s? This spot is coming darn close. Nice looking wrap around bar. So Thursdays is jazz night. From around 7-930ish. Alternate Thursdays have live band or jazz DJ. $10 cover on live band nights. The staff is friendly. $2 drink specials. Kitchen is open with good chicken wings. Menu seems to be work in progress so keep that in mind. They haven’t been open that long so room for improvement. Woman’s restroom is a disaster. First visit, 2 sinks n only 1 had a faucet. 2nd visit, why is there water all over the place?! Last visit backed up toilets n when I told staff, it was not addressed on my next bathroom stop. The MC stopped the music for 15 min because there were maybe 5 folks that got there before they charge a cover and they wanted us to go back to the door n pay once they decided to charge. If you get to the club before they charge a cover do you go back to pay later? If you are charging a cover then have someone at the door. Fridays n Saturdays have DJ and a younger crowd. Tuesdays is karaoke day. Wednesdays is line dance night. Happy hour 5-8 pm. They have a mechanical bull you can ride for $5 which the ladies seem to enjoy. Work in progress. Some bands better than others. See ya on Thursday.

Julie’s Pub & Restaurant – Menu with Prices – 835 Center Point Rd NE, Cedar Rapids

I went in tonight for a band after hearing on Facebook how good they were. The band was great so kuddos to them. The issue was the when the bartender would charge $1.74 for a small clear glass of soda (the ones most bars would use for mixed drinks) and then would make a soda for another customer and charge them $2.00 for a red plastic glass, and another customer charged $1.75 for a soda in the same red plastic glass. The other issue I had is when my friends would go outside or myself go outside, the bartender would be outside smoking a one hitter right in front of the entry door to the building. It was definitely not a vape and was not a cigarette, it was most definitely weed. I have a feeling the bartender getting high is why she was charging different prices for sodas. Definitely WON’T be going to the bar ever again for that reason.

Bar Aigle Noir – Menu with Prices – 1315 St Catherine St E, Montreal

I was extremely curious to try out this bar after reading the review that spoke about watching zootopia along with porn which totally cracked me up. I was very much interested in what kind of media they would be playing when I arrived. We arrived around 11ish and the outside patio area was completely packed. You walked in and the bar was right there within feet of the door. It was not overcrowded but definitely very dark. I did happen to notice that they were playing Lord of the Rings on a projector. I definitely thought it was a little weird but no one else seemed to care. The bar seemed to be filled with regulars and I’m pretty sure I was the only women in the establishment. I did not have to wait long for a drink which was nice. The music was alright. We did a full walk around and noticed there was a bar in the back and a bar on the second floor. I do like that the second floor had a balcony that you could overlook everyone. One thing that I was not a fan of was the fact that they only have a 2 stall bathroom with urinals. The door for the bathroom was wide open which seemed really weird. The drinks were definitely overpriced . I would recommend getting shots or beer. If you are looking to get a buzz

Pepe’s Taqueria – Menu with Prices – 645 Chandler St, Worcester

Went today with my friend for lunch. It was a first time for both of us. I wasn’t impressed or wowed. I ordered guacamole to go alone with our chips & salsa (looked like it had julienne carrots in it): the tomatoes & red onions inside looked like they were old, they were softish & the guac itself was very loose & lacked flavor we added salt. She ordered fried fish tacos & I ordered steak & chicken fajitas: neither one of us liked the tortillas. They came to us with some kind of yellow grease still on them. To me they tasted like they were uncooked. We think they maybe been corn the menu never said what kind they have. The our beans were loose but tasted good, the rice was also good. My steak & chicken was ok, I did have to add some salt. My friend liked her fish tacos. We both ate our meal without those tortillas. After giving us boxes for our leftovers, the waitress brought the check without asking if we wanted dessert. As she was placing the bill down, friend wished me a happy birthday. The waitress wished me one as well but still didn’t ask if we wanted dessert. We were 1 of 3 seated tables so it wasn’t a matter of it being busy. I would order their fajitas again, either without those tortillas or request them cooked longer. But I’m a little leary about trying anything else. Their portion sizes are large enough to have a doggie bag. Oh & I don’t know what the deal was with the locked bathroom door. Maybe it’s only one stall, if so I find that odd a restaurant of that size wouldn’t have a multi-stall bathroom.

Renaissance Asheville Hotel Menu with Prices 31 Woodfin St, Asheville

I loved the location of this hotel and that they allowed our pet to join us! It was easy to walk into downtown and there was a nice area to walk your pet. The decor was very modern and our room was clean. We had a nice view from our room and enjoyed having nice big windows. Go up to the top floor for an even better view. There is a nice outside patio seating that the hotel offers as well! The bed wasn’t comfortable for my husband and I. It was very soft and the mattress slept hot. It was also hard to regulate the temperature in our room. The bathroom was decent and had a good shower. The shower curtain was dirty and the toilet sprays water out when flushed. Also the toilet itself was old. We didn’t have very good hot water one day. The bathroom also had a sliding door that doesn’t offer a lot of privacy. There is ample parking here but some spaces require a hike. I didn’t mind that so much because it was nice to have free parking! I had pleasant experiences with the staff I interacted with.

The Riot Room – Menu with Prices – 4048 Broadway St, Kansas City

I came here to see an alternative indie band and the doors were supposed to open at 7pm. They didn’t open until 7:15 and everyone waiting was cold outside. I did will call and it was no problem getting in. The venue was a lot smaller than I had anticipated. I ordered a drink for me and my friend. My beer tasted flat and really off. They definitely need to get their lines checked. I asked for a different beer and the bartender had an attitude. I even offered to pay the difference. When I went to use the restroom, the guys bathroom door was wide open and continued to stay open after people closed it. The ladies restroom is right across the guys so yeah. A staff member also entered the ladies room without knocking, and the women in the restroom were very unhappy with good reason. The concert didn’t start till what felt like forever. Once it did, the concert and the rest of the night went well. It felt more like an intimate concert because the space is small. I would probably not come back here and pay more for a band in hopes they find a better venue.

Bar XIII Delaware – Menu with Prices – 1706 Philadelphia Pike, Wilmington

I don’t really go to bars or drink that often but hubby kept talking about this band he wanted to see so I got tickets for us. It was a Saturday night the band was to start around 9:00 we got there around 8:30. They weren’t busy yet. The guy at the door very friendly and was talking and giving us postcards with upcoming events. I don’t drink beer, wine or drinks with soda and unfortunately there are few drinks I like. I first ask if they do frozen drinks which I kind of already figured they didn’t because most bars like this don’t but figured I try. So I always go for White Russian first bar I have been to that doesn’t serve White Russians. But I will say the bartender was so nice and patient with me making suggestions so finally got a drink with vodka and cranberry juice. I can’t remember the name of it but it was very good. I had two of them. The band was really good but they started about 45 minutes late. The room the band plays in is standing room only. If you want to sit down you have to go to the bar area. And there is a cute little lounge area in the back to hang out in. This is a nice friendly neighborhood bar. I can see why a lot of people go here. They do have a lot of events I would be interested in going to but most are on a Sunday night at 8:00 which is to late for me because Monday morning comes to early. I really want to go to the midget wrestling hope they have one on a Friday or Saturday night.

Kendell’s Bar – Menu with Prices – 110 S May Ave, Oklahoma City

First time to visit and I will be back. I went to Kendell’s on a whim. I was pet sitting on the west side of OKC and had an urge for a beer. Kendell’s was the only 4+/5 on Yelp within a 10 minute drive. From the outside the place can be deceiving; the location is industrial with sparse businesses. No windows and the door makes you think “strip club”. But step inside and the atmosphere is welcoming and friendly. This is a smoking bar but I didn’t find that an issue at all. I couldn’t be happier about Fat Tire on tap and the prices were cheap! Shortly after I arrived an awesome Hip Hop band started setting up and playing. The music was great (I even bought the band a round)!
