Best driving range right in the heart of town. Much better than what is available on BRECC courses. Distance markers, target greens, natural grass hitting box when it’s dry, or artificial mat boxes when it’s wet. Staff friendly and welcoming. They also have a bar and a restaurant. You don’t have to be a member to use any of them. This is one of the last public driving ranges in Baton Rouge. We need to support it!

New York Pizza and Pasta Menu with Prices 5380 Jones Creek Rd, Baton Rouge

Had dinner tonight at New York Pizza and Pasta on Jones Creek in Baton Rouge. I’ve eaten there once before and the service was fantastic and the pasta was amazing. Tonight though, I finally tried the pizza. Wow. Some of the BEST pizza I’ve had in Baton Rouge. The cheese was piled on and the sauce was so good. The service this time was the best I have EVER received at a restaurant in this area so I took down EVERYONE’S names that helped us! Noelle took our order and was so sweet. Yona brought us our drinks and checked on us. Jansen brought us our food and checked on us throughout the meal. Everyone was so nice. Customer servive here is great. I’ll definitely be back. If you haven’t tried it yet go NOW! Well…not now, they’re closed. Go when they’re open. You’re much more likely to get food then. Try the meatballs!!!

J&G seafood market Menu with Prices 8580 Greenwell Springs Rd, Baton Rouge

These are the most customer friendly business owners I have ever known. I always support even if it’s just buying boiled shrimp but my Favorite of course is boiled Crawfish!!! They are the best this side of B.R well it doesn’t matter where I am in B.R I’m driving to G&J because I can count on them for consistency in flavor. These snow crabs are Huge and nope they are not King Crabs they are just nice sized and meat filled snow crabs. All the seafood has good flavor, if it’s not closing time and they are running low on something and there is enough time they ask if you are ok with waiting and they will prepare more for you. If you want to boil the seafood yourself this is your place for Live seafood and all the supplies needed to get a good boil going even the onions, corn and potatoes can be purchased. If you are looking for the La seafood products for your Gumbo this is your spot!! I always visit when I’m in Baton Rouge and as long as they are in business I will support because their food is the best and they are the nicest ever!!

McDonald Tire 2 LLC Menu with Prices 10020 Florida Blvd, Baton Rouge

Updated today June-03-2019 Had a flat tire on my brand new car by the time I got here. They didn’t have one but they got on the phone and located me a tire and then they actually went and got the tire and I was out of here pretty fast. This is the best and fastest tire shop in town or anywhere around that’s for sure. They also stand behind what they do! Tires aren’t sexy nor the funnest thing to shop for but if you have a car you have to buy tires and this is the best place in Baton Rouge for all your tire needs. They have the best price in Baton Rouge are anywhere around here. If you hate wasting your day buying tires then again this is the fastest place in and out with all 4 tires balanced and installed in under 30 minutes. I used to spend hours and hours at places like Walmart but for the last 10 years I buy my tires at McDonald Tires. 4 new tires balanced and mounted with tax & everything only &352 and I only spent.

Chow Yum Phat @ The Market Menu with Prices 4624 Government St, Baton Rouge

Took a little Sunday roadtrip up to Baton Rouge today to check out Chow Yum Phat at the new White Star Market. These cats are taking Ramen seriously. Outside of KIN this is easily the best Ramen I’ve had in Louisiana. They are cranking out some velvety rich Tonkatsu broth, and the grilled pork belly was perfectly cooked. The noodles were silky and of obviously good quality. But the Pho Dumplings were REALLY amazing. The pronounced flavors of beef pho were kicked up with a spicy hoisin sauce, pickled jalapeños, and peanuts. We almost ordered another round of them, but we were stuffed after the Ramen and some excellent Bao. If you live in Baton Rouge, get over there and check them out. And I’d say it’s good enough to make a special road trip up from New Orleans. The food hall is pretty cool too, a lot of options like tacos, pizza, and healthy stuff. The bar has an impressive selection…

Anthony’s Italian Deli Menu with Prices 5575 Government St, Baton Rouge

We were visiting Baton Rouge for our anniversary and to watch the Bama vs LSU game of the century. We live in Alabama, so we were in enemy territory. My wife has bragged many times about the food she had growing up in Baton Rouge at Anthony’s Deli. We met her BFF and her husband and daughter. The atmosphere at Anthony’s set the tone right away. It was spotless, warm and inviting and expertly decorated to help bring you to Italy. The owners and other employees immediately spotted our Bama attire and in true LSU style let the good times roll. They were so much fun making comments back and forth with us. I felt like I had known these great people forever. They really made us feel at home and welcomed. We ordered the Italian sandwich and it filled our entire plate. It was delicious, until we observed writing on our paper plate beneath the sandwich. It read “Geaux Tigers.” Oh my! We’ve been poisoned!! Love that sense of humor. When we left the restaurant was full of customers and they all had something fun to say to us. If you like great, authentic Italian deli food, don’t waist another day, get to Anthony’s Deli. And if you have are visiting from out of town, wear yourself teams apparel and be prepared to have a jovial time with the staff. Can’t wait to get back to Anthony’s Deli.

Pink Masquerade Menu with Prices 11080 Old Roswell Rd, Alpharetta

“First step, pizza. second step, flaming batons…” — Miss Congeniality (2000) Ahhhh, Bob. Everyone has said just about everything there is to say about you. You are an institution in Midtown Atlanta. You create such a positive, happy aura around you wherever you go. This particular encounter was at brunch – Bob walked past us (we were inside 10th & Piedmont while he was on the corner outside). Bob did his usual strutting, blowing his whistle, directing traffic (both auto and foot) and making the spectacle that is Baton Bob. Thru the open window, he points to a member at our table as if a promise of more to come. Before we know it, Bob has come into the restaurant and is having a glass of champagne at a table in the other room. And again, Bob points at our table, but this time at my friend Nick. But this time, he decides that Nick is adorable and he might need to come and give him a smooch…Nick looked nervous. Bob worked the entire restaurant and joy and mirth was spread all around. As is Baton Bob. If you see a man in costume, with a baton and/or blowing a whistle, strutting through Midtown Atlanta, stop and watch and take him in – this is the institution know as Baton Bob!

Good Eats Kitchen Menu with Prices 7673 Perkins Rd Suite A-2, Baton Rouge

Meal prep has become a hot topic these days with people both wanting to save time so that there is more time with family and friends, as well as people wanting to eat more healthy with whole food ingredients and clean eating. While I try to prepare my meals fresh daily, sometimes i need good items to fall back on. Frozen meals just don’t cut it somedays. Good Eats Kitchen (GEK) is a welcome new addition to Baton Rouge and a great location in Ichiban Square Shopping Center. The store is very open and inviting with a bright green and yellow color patter. The employee today was very welcoming and came over to make sure I understood how to identify the different foods and meats. Prices are very reasonable for the freshly made meals you are purchasing. You can eat them in the store if you’d like, or you can take them to go. For lunch today, i enjoyed the turkey meatballs and zoodles. I simply heated the meal for about 1.5 minutes and was good to go! Nutritional facts are on the package. It seriously tasted like something I would have made in my kitchen (only better!) I love the idea that this is a Louisiana family with ties to Baton Rouge and a love for what they do. And it all started wanting to help the owner’s sister, growing into a business seeking to provide GOOD and HEALTHY meals to others. Check them out today! (If you can’t make the store location, you can also look at delivery options on their website!) Can’t wait for more!

Mobile Marriott – Menu with Prices – 3101 Airport Blvd, Mobile

Motel 6 by Marriott? I’ve been an SPG member for many years now and as they’ve merged with Marriott I’ve been giving the brand a try. I must say this Marriott has got to be the worst in the south if not the country. I’d always thought of the brand as “conservative”, but a quality company. The Mobile Marriott is a dump… Everything there is outdated, broken, or just straight up depressing. Yeah- yeah it’s Alabama, but it’s Marriott. At check in (the lobby smells like a retirement home) I was told the “system was down” and they needed to photocopy my credit card and I D to be processed later… Yeah I know. Didn’t they take card info in order to make a reservation? When I got to my room I called the front desk to ask about the photocopying and what’s going to happen to the copies. There was no one in charge to speak to me. I left two messages and still haven’t been contacted. I contacted Marriott directly and will give an update. The staff weren’t rude, but had a “we just don’t give a f#@%k” attitude, and keep in mind I’m a loyal SPG Gold member & now Marriott Gold Elite member. There’s no working pool and the pool area is an eyesore. The rooms are “ok”, but not near worth the price. I went from tons of TV options (netflix, internet TV, Hulu) at the amazing Marriott Baton Rouge to basic cable with HBO in Mobile… The rusted room safe actually had a key, some s#@t I hadn’t seen since the 90s… The scariest thing about this place was the pitch black parking lots. I’m 6’3″ and had safety concerns going to and from my car in the darkness. I would say the District Manager should be fired, but arrested for fraud would be more appropriate.

Meega Korean – Menu with Prices – 4070 Jermantown Rd, Fairfax

Visited this establishment with my family, and we were bit disappointed at the foods we were served. Upon entrance, we were greeted by a friendly staff member. We ordered 3 portions of Galbi and 1 dish or spicy octopus /galbi. The banchan(s) were decent. Nothing remarkable tho. After waiting for about few minutes, the meats were brought out and the staff member started to cook the meat for us. I was shocked at the amount of fat that the meat had. The meats were super fatty and we could only taste the fats. Felt super oily. The spicy octopus-galbi was very disappointing as well. Unlike the display, which looked absolutely amazing, the octopus was uncooked, and the texture of the galbi was really cheap. The quality of the food was really disappointing. I’m giving 2 stars because the staff members were super friendly, the service was pretty quick, and the restaurant was fairly clean. However, I dont think we will visit this place again anytime soon.

Wildwood Pizza Menu with Prices 9659 Antioch Rd #105, Baton Rouge

This is a new place in town! They have been open for only 4 days, and my experience was great. The place is trendy, very millennial, welcoming, with pictures from different distinctive parts of Baton Rouge. I was surprised at the amount of people in the place, I’m sure people are noticing this place and bringing their friends. The staff is friendly and nice. Checking on the tables in case you need anything. You line up, order your pizza from the list or you make your own, they also have salads, beer, wine and sodas. I ordered “Pesto Chicken” pizza and I was not disappointed! I really liked the crust, it is thin and it gives the perfect consistency to the pizza. The rest of my people ordered kickin’ chicken, garden district and the flavors were great! Order at the counter, they bring it to your table under your name, there is only one size (10″), which is Perfect size for a person. All of my companions got there at different times, so our orders came out at different times too, but the owner was super nice and tried to accelerate the process as much as she could and we appreciated that! To locate the place, is super easy from Antioch rd, it is next to Rouses. Surely I’ll go back to try the different options, it is hard to find thin delicious pizza with a nice crust. Good job Wildwood pizza!

Louisiana Lagniappe Restaurant Menu with Prices 9990 Perkins Rd, Baton Rouge

My family and I came to this restaurant late at night from a tiring road trip from Austin to Baton Rouge. We admittedly did not do any research on Yelp like we should have, but we were desperate. I know that Louisiana is famous for its fish, but Lagniappe blew my mind away. I had the tilapia with white sauce on top. Amazing. This restaurant can make even tilapia taste good. While the menu did not specify what kind of sauce was on top of the fish, the sauce tasted suspiciously like mayonnaise. Mayonnaise is always good, so I have no complaints. The catfish was… Well catfish. But it was still just crunchy enough for any age group to enjoy. The waiters were all attentive and polite. Parking is plentiful at eight at night. The restaurant looks like an establishment where older, wealthier families would go. It’s even dark and has clean, white table cloths. However, there were a surprising number of young kids.
