Swamp City feels like a 2nd home. Located in a revamped 118 year old house, good vibes and relaxing times await you. Local artists, musicians, and cannabis advocates spend a lot of time here because it’s a great place to share a beer, ideas, and just enjoy each other’s company. The most beautiful high end glass you’ll ever see is here and available for sale. There is art from world renowned artists like Alex Grey. I haven’t even mentioned the delicious and therapeutic CBD dabs available or the friendly and knowledgeable staff! I hear they have #TeamFloridaPatient spring water, CBD infused beverages and Wellspring Kombucha too! There’s food trucks and amazing DJs and SO much more coming soon! Do yourself a favor and come enjoy some time in this space with friends. You won’t regret it.

Crema Coffee – Menu with Prices – 3725 W Ina Rd #120, Tucson

Finally, a family owned coffee shop around this part of town! As others have mentioned, this place has a number of great qualities worth mentioning: 1. It’s family owned. Enough said. 2. Quality beans. I got an iced latte and it was on point. It wasn’t unnaturally sweet like Starbucks and other chains, and you could actually taste the beans. 3. Cocktail-style ice cubes. You know, the large 2-inch square ones. It keeps your drink cooler and doesn’t water it down as fast as multiple smaller ice cubes. Besides, who doesn’t like looking at a massive chunk of ice in their BPA-free tumbler, right? 4. Chill ambiance. Natural lighting, two sofas, and some square tables spread around the cafe. The volume of the background music was perfect, in my option. It was loud enough where you could hear it and quiet enough where if you wanted to listen to your own music, you wouldn’t have to blow your ears out to drown out the background music. 5. A simple and straightforward menu. Personally, I hope they keep their menu the way it is. You want to come here for coffee after all, right (or tea, I suppose)? If you want an iced caramel macchiato with two dabs of pumpkin spice powder and blue sprinkles on top, you can get that somewhere else. 6. Local art. The wall has art from local artists. Way to support the community! Check them out!

Bowlero Via Linda – Menu with Prices – 9027 E Vía Linda, Scottsdale

Just to be clear, I have nothing against the place and the other staff, except the cashier, ALEX. My family went there today so my son can practice bowling for his birthday which we book in the same center. Alex is just odd. He speaks as if heâ??s only talking to himself in a place filled with loud music. I had to stretch my neck so my ears can catch what heâ??s saying. It was our first time in the said center so we dont know how we get charged. When we got our shoes, he already swiped the card so I thought theyâ??ll just charge it upon check out. When we check out we got to the counter and I asked him, â??Are we good?â? He then spoke something impossible to hear and moved his hand as if saying â??goâ? so we left the line. I asked my husband, â??Is that it? are we just gonna be charged?â? Feeling something was wrong, we went back to the counter with another customer in front. I waved at him and asked â??Are we gonna get a receipt?â? He just told me, â??I have a line and another customerâ? in a loud (thank God!) voice. I told him yeah but we were here before them and Iâ??m not sure if weâ??re done. He then told me, again in a loud voice â??Yeah, but you left!â? Thatâ??s when my inner alarm came off. This guy is just impossible! I wonder why heâ??s there in front of customers when he clearly has no customer service skills. When we left the line thinking we were already charged and was not, he could have called us back to let us know that weâ??re not yet. And when we came back to ask him again, he just brushed us off and tell us he has a line and another customer. He kept speaking to himself at this time it was again impossible to hear. I asked him what he was saying. He just told me, â??If you want to speak to my manager, you can.â? I told him with a loud voice to just get it done and over with. With a simple transaction as checking out, Alex can send a customerâ??s blood pressure soaring high. This Alex shouldnâ??t be in front of customers, coz he clearly has no customer service skills. I just hope my sonâ??s birthday wonâ??t have the same experience.

Miller’s Ale House – Murfreesboro – Menu with Prices – 1714 Old Fort Pkwy, Murfreesboro

Since I move to Murfreesboro in 12/18 I’ve been struggling to find a local business that I “identify” with / reminds me of home, is locally owned and is in general, just a “Cheers” kinda place. IVE FOUND IT HERE! I was met at the door (Sunday) with a fun filled jab about my Ravens jersey I was wearing (only Titans fans allowed here), said with a smile and an implied “wink”.. I knew I was home. Hosts were courteous and helpful!! Then I get to the bar…. and I’m instantly met with Bartender Brandy who was more than happy to inquire about changing one of the TV Channels to my favorite team “Ravens”. She partnered with management with a smile and accomplished the impossible lol. (This seemed to be a slower Sunday and they do have set channels as they try to accommodate ALL OF US with their 50 tv’s, so I don’t expect this every time I come) The friendliness continued as BOTH of my bartenders ( Brandy & Alex ) were super friendly, attentive, knowledgeable and accommodating as best they could. I had an order of wings and a few beers. I was offered a sample of a wing sauce I was unsure about and ended up ordering it!! At the end of the day, my Team lost… but I left a happy customer as I was there more for the experience of a GREAT game day, and not just for my Team. I WILL BE BACK MILLERS!! In fact, you’re my “GO TO” place from now on! Thank you Brandy… Alex… And Millers staff. See you soon!!

Taâ??bogo Cafe/ Cincinnati Cars and Coffee – Menu with Prices – 2726 Riverside Dr, Cincinnati

Ta’Bogo Cafe is fabulous! It is located in the old “Fuel Coffee Supply” on Riverside Drive. Alex, the owner, has recently opened the shop, and the coffee is superb! I highly recommend his Dulce de Leche, hot or iced – both are delicious, and the prices are very, very reasonable for the very special, hand-made drinks a “made with extra love,” as Alex told me this morning. There are also fresh cupcakes, cookies, and a special “cake of the week”, all home-made. Alex has also expanded the hours of the former shop – Fuel Supply was only open in the mornings and closed in the early afternoon, but Ta’bogo is open from 7am-7pm Monday thru Friday (for anyone on the east side who might need a caffeine fix on their afternoon/evening commute from downtown!)

STEAM Coffee + Eatery, Authorized Purveyor of Starbucks – Menu with Prices – 110 Shenandoah Ave NE, Roanoke

Took the extended family for Thanksgiving for the fifth consecutive year. As always, food, service, and ambiance were beyond outstanding. Everything is prepared on site down to the smoked salmon, often months in advance for the heritage artisanal meats, the main courses, vast selection of side items, and the delicious desserts. The house specialties of peanut soup and spoonbread set the standard for these dishes (if you can’t imagine what they might be, do come find out). The ENTIRE staff are outstanding professionals and artists who take pride in their work from table and serving staff to cook staff to administrative staff. You want to enjoy the best of America from a diverse staff united in excellence, this is the place to do it. Best of the real USA right here in Roanoke. Can’t recommend enough!

Muddy Lotus Tea Kava Bar – Menu with Prices – 520 NE 1st Ave, Ocala

Muddy Lotus Tea is truly a gift for those of us in Ocala who do not like alcohol bars, yet want to experience nightlife. Itâ??s also a gift for those of us who work remotely and want a change of scenery during the work day. I love to come here, day or night. Itâ??s beautiful to watch everyone being welcomed inside with a cheer of â??HEY! WELCOME!â? from staff and customers alike. It feels like a home away from home because they are such a family-style business. I appreciate how knowledgeable the staff is and how accommodating they are for food allergies. The staff continually shocks me with their above-and-beyond service. This week had a perfect example of that: a friendâ??s car was having issues, so the manager crawled under the car to find the issue and helped fix it so my friend could get home safely. That doesnâ??t happen at other bars… The owners are also so kind and have supported the local community, including all types of artists and other businesses. I competed in their Drop The Mic singing competition and won, but it didnâ??t stop there: I continue to receive kindness and support from the Muddy Lotus Tea team and patrons in my singing journey. I love to sing karaoke there on Thursdays and dance with flow artists on Saturdays. I am so thankful this place exists. BULA!

Paula Brown Shop – Menu with Prices – 912 Monroe St, Toledo

I live and work near the Paula Brown store and have been a regular here for a while. Their selection and knowledge of kitchenware and home goods is top notch. There is a free parking lot and the entire staff is amazing. The staff is very knowledgeable and very friendly and helpful. They have a really nice pub with some great drinks and good selection of spirits. I enjoy going there on Saturdays because Diane who used to run Sid and Diane’s in Perrysburg is there with dishes that you can take home and just heat and serve that are truly amazing and sometimes she prepares food that you can eat in the pub. Diane is an awesome cook and very knowledgeable and always has some great entrees every Saturday. They have a great wine selection as well. Paula Brown shop is a real downtown treasure

Prioritized Pastries, LLC – Menu with Prices – 4904 Devonshire Ave, St. Louis

Not only is Alex an AMAZING person, but her work is EXQUISITE. I was down to crunch time with finding a local vegan bakery for my brother’s birthday, when GOD aligned the stars & led me to her. “Can we say DIVINE ALIGNMENT & DIVINE CONNECTION”ð?? She took time to thoroughly listen to bring forth my vision, follow the theme & the DESIRES of my HEART to include my late Mom’s stamp on it, by adding her Signature Words. Woot Woot!!! THANK YOU ð?? And to top it off the cake was DELICIOUS. ð???ð??? ð???ð??ð??? We were all IMPRESSED. Even our waiter asked where did we get it. You nailed it Alex!!! ð??? Will DEFINITELY spread the word & be back again. THANK YOU!!! ð??

Pearson Pub – Menu with Prices – 6355 Airport Rd, Mississauga

I stayed up the road at the Sheraton for two weeks and with few options in the area, I frequented this pub for at least 6 visits to watch the Jays. The service was excellent from Denny, the girls and owner Alex. The atmosphere was great, prices are very reasonable and the food was good too. They really make you feel welcome and go out of their way to get to know their customers. If you are in the area drop in, you won’t be disappointed. Cheers Alex! Thanks for the hospitality.

May?s Egg Rolls – Menu with Prices – 154 N Broadway, Green Bay

We stopped in for a quick bite to eat on a Wednesday night. There were a few customers in there, but service was friendly and speedy. We ordered a number of items: 1. Eggrolls – Were crispy and just they way I like them. The sweet and sour sauce wasn’t to my liking (but to each his own) 2. Spring Rolls – They were large and delicious. 3. Crab Rangoon – They were your typical crab rangoon, but had more filling that most…That was a plus. 4. Fried Noodles – Tasted similar to pad thai, I really enjoyed them. 5. Beef Salad – one of the guests I was with had this. It was ok, but had nice spice to it (he ordered it spicy) 6. Pork Belly – the guest I was with ordered this an really liked it at the restaurant. There were a few left overs. when he ate the left overs later he did not like them reheated. So if you order this you are best to eat it in house. I liked that they had a water bubbler available for water, which was appreciated because I didn’t need to wait for wait staff if I ran out of water. It was also sweet that the staff working brought a couple cans of coke to our table free of charge. Overall it was a nice, quick, and tasty dining experience.

I Love Juice Bar – Murfreesboro – Menu with Prices – 804 N Thompson Ln #1j, Murfreesboro

I’m SO HAPPY that a place like this exists in Murfreesboro. Excellent juices and smoothies and even better selection of light healthy dishes, including açaí bowls, spring rolls, and soups. In an area full of fast food and nutrient-poor dining selections, this place is fucking Mecca. Came in today with my fiancé, and we were not disappointed. Staff was incredibly friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. Property is clean, bright, and colorful. I could easily come back here to study/work on my laptop because of the chill atmosphere. They have wifi! Now for the most important details: the food! We had the Orange You Glad juice, Coffee Janet Smoothie, Spring Rolls, and Red Lentil soup. Everything was fresh and yummy. I particularly enjoyed the smoothie (Wowza!), but I could and would order any of these items again. Thank you Juice Bar for making my life in TN a healthier and happier one. I salute you!

Chipper Harbin Tattoos – Menu with Prices – 2913 Gallatin Pike Suite B, Nashville

Seven years ago I got a giant black tree the size of my inner forearm to cover up a smaller tattoo on my wrist. For seven years I’ve been looking for an artist who would do something interesting with this tattoo. I was traveling to Nashville and decided to check out some artists in the area. I started following Chipper on IG and loved his style and creativity, so I reached out to him. I was able to get an afternoon with him and I LOVED his ideas for finishing my arm. The shop is chill and private which is a major plus in my opinion. Not only did Chipper play music I wanted to hear, but my husband and a friend were able to sit in on the session, and I didn’t have to deal with a big room of many artists and clients. I’m so excited to finally have something done that I love, and if/when I get more work I’ll be making the trip to Nashville to work with Chipper again!
