Docâ??s knows how to throw a party! I planned my rehearsal dinner to be had at Docâ??s last week and it was a great time. Food and drinks were coordinated in a self serve family style format with a Totcho bar and punch bowl. Everything was set up and tasted great! They were super quick to refill the platters as they ran out, and were super accommodating. Lively atmosphere with an arcade in the back for the kids. If you need a party held for any occasion Docâ??s is the place to go!

Thunderhead Brewing Taproom – Menu with Prices – 13304 W Center Rd #126, Omaha

Great little spot in old market area of Omaha, and pet friendly, too! We visited with kids and they offered board games to keep the kiddos entertained. Food can be brought in, consider doing so through grub hub. The beers were good…being from MI we are pretty particular about craft beer and this place held its own though we all found them to be a little light. We would go back and try more if we were ever visiting again. The Taproom also offers a cigar and scotch patio which the guys in our party took advantage of. They offer some snacks and other booze options so even if you donâ??t have beer drinkers in your party, Iâ??d bet they have something for them, too (including their own root beer). The only reason Iâ??m not giving them a five out of five is they were out of a few options I had wanted to try and they werenâ??t super accommodating with our pup – we asked for a bowl so we could sit in the back and they got a little weird about the request… maybe they could invest in one more Fido bowl and then gain a half point.

Main Event Katy – Menu with Prices – 24401 Katy Fwy, Katy

I will give them a zero star if I could. We had a birthday party yesterday and it was the worst party experiences that I ever had. We booked their Extreme Package with bowling and laser tag for 22 kids, and on the contract it clearly stated that $5 FunCard will be given to each kid. When I signed the contract I was told for kids that are less than 48 inch tall who cannot play laser tag will be given a $10 FunCard, I asked them to add it on the contract but was told that every party coordinator know that rule. On the day of the party, we then told that instead of $5 Fun Cards, kids will be given amount of time for the arcade, and since everyone will be staying together kids that are not going to laser tag will not be given $10 Fun Card. I feel not comfortable as I was not given what was stated on the contract. What made me very angry was, there are 6 younger siblings that was also at the party, they were too young to play bowling or laser tag. I told the party coordinator that there will be 22 kids for the extreme package, I will be purchasing 2 $5 Fun card for the 2 younger siblings and we will purchase drinks for all 6. The party coordinator ask for the name for all 28 kids, I told them the 6 younger sibling will only be eating but not doing any of the activities and they said they still need the name. At the end, all 28 kids were charged for the EXTREME Package, and of course the $10 game card too. I don’t understand, 6 kids didn’t played bowling nor laser tag nor getting arcade card but they got charged for the whole package. For just drink and pizza? That must be a very expensive pizza! Not to mentioned I purchased additional two pizza and nachos for everyone. If they are charging the party package they should let me know ahead of time, so we can at least let them play bowling. We are only given 5 lanes for 22 kids to play bowling, if they are charging us for 28 kids then we should be getting more than 5 bowling lanes correct? And all 6 kids should be getting $10 FunCard for not playing laser tag correct? Nope, they are not given anything but pizza and drink. Our party coordinator are not taken a good care of us, the arcade card they gave us after the laser tag were not working, only some of the kids that stood out got a replacement cards, kids that were shy were walking around with a card not were not working and left the party disappointed. It was the worst party that I’ve ever hosted and I felt so bad for my guest. I will never host another party here ever again!

Reboot Retrocade & Bar – Menu with Prices – 566 Cherry St, Macon

Cool place. Great collection of arcade games from the 80s with the soundtrack playing in the background. And they sell alcohol! We took our kids here on a Saturday afternoon (I think it goes to 21 and over after 6pm). It was not crowded. The games run on arcade tokens and most games are 1 token play. My kids, 7 and 12, had a blast learning how to play “real” video games where you have a joystick, a fire button and not much else. And my wife and SIL got into a Frogger competition. My only complaint…I couldn’t find Tempest.

Infinity Athletics Menu with Prices 501 New Karner Rd, Albany

A fitness studio and healthy cafe for EVERYONE!! I enjoy working out here with my baby near me, the owner is very flexible and so is the boxing trainer! People come in with kids or dogs, the atmosphere here is so friendly and welcoming! You see people who are super athletic train here but at the same time elderly people with walker can find a perfect program for themselves too! It’s incredible how accommodating this place is to everyone! Photos of my favorite Açaí bowl attached, apparently my son loves it too!

Scal’s Sports Bar – Menu with Prices – 3 Mill St, Worcester

Came to Southbridge for a conference, it was Super Bowl Sunday and four of us were looking for a great place with awesome local fans to watch the Pats go for #6. So we found Scal’s on Yelp. It was a fairly quick trip to Worchester and we had a blast. Chris (co-owner) was super! He brought in pizzas and snacks for everyone for the Super Bowl. The local crowd was fantastic. Thanks for making this Super Bowl LII experience for us out-of-towners so memorable. The only thing that would have made this a more awesome experience would have been win #6 for the Pats. They don’t serve food, but you can get your eats elsewhere and come back for the game and a great atmosphere. If I’m in the area and the Bosox or Bruins or Celts are in the playoffs, I would definitely stop by Scal’s again… or anytime. It’s just a great place to hang out.

Andy B’s – Springfield – Menu with Prices – 1127 Battlefield Rd, Springfield

Went to a child’s birthday party here as well as a couple other times. The timed bowling is the only real downside here for me other than it’s priced kind of high. But that’s supply and demand. They bring plenty of people in. The restaurant always has vacant seats though as the food is kinda pricey. The arcade games are fun but IPC has more and is a better place to go for gaming. The laser tag here blows IPCs away. It is amazing. Did it as a part of the birthday party. The kids had a blast as did the adults who played. The bowling was fun but the time thing. If you play until your time is out you will have to leave a game unfinished. As far as the kids birthday party it was amazing. A lady even waited on the kids filling drinks. The private room had a tv with music videos. The only downside is the super high price. Man it was awesome but not worth the money for me. That’s a family of three season tickets at SDC amount of money for a day of fun. Overall I like the place. I have had the pizza and the burgers. Both were good. You’ll save a lot of money sharing a pizza though. And it’s just as good. Basically the cost and timed bowling are what’s keeping me from rating it 5 and becoming a regular. Update. Came here tonight after sons ball game. Beer prices not on menus. Got two drafts in a glass. $8 each. Highway robbery. Ended up being half the bill for dinner.

Taco Mama – Midtown Mobile – Menu with Prices – 2534-A Old Shell Rd, Mobile

Been here a few times and it’s always bustling! Headed over lunch during the torrential rains of then Tropical Storm Barry and there was still a line! They’re doing something right at Taco Mama. We ordered the Cheesy Beef Tacos, a Chicken Burrito Bowl, a BYO Burrito and a kid’s mac and cheese. Food came out quickly and everyone was happy. My wife loves this place; it’s lively, the food is tasty, the service is good and the kids like it. She was very happy with her chicken bowl, almost more than she can eat. The tacos were good, but for the price, I was hoping they’d be a little bigger. The kids both liked what they ordered and proceeded to destroy their meals as well. It was a good lunch and we enjoyed our visit.

Magoos Sports Bar And Billiards – Menu with Prices – 5002 S Memorial Dr, Tulsa

Magoos has held a special place in my heart for around a decade now. They’ve made some recent changes, including going to non-smoking. For those who smoke, there is now a covered patio in the back. They’ve also recently revised their menu. (Try the double-dog dare!) They have also removed the stage that existed for many years, and added some arcade games in its place, including air hockey, foosball, and some other various arcade games as well as one of those punching bag machines. Pool tables being the main attraction, of course, can be rented by the hour, and the rates vary by day and time. Last but not least there is a full liquor bar with reasonably priced drinks. Definitely worth checking out if you’re looking for something to do in Tulsa.

Common Grounds – Menu with Prices – 602 S Elam Ave, Greensboro

We popped in here after dinner. This literally was in the same parking that we were in. They had quite a selection of coffee choices, but the drink was honestly just okay. I think if you go in looking for just a plain cup of coffee you will be better off. They also have a wine bar inside along with a pool table and some arcade games. The atmosphere was very eclectic. You had people of all ages. I thought the location could definitely use some more seating out front, because you do have college students in there doing work on their laptops. It says kid friendly but at the same time, having my kids inside I was more afraid of them being too loud and disturbing the students working. I wouldn’t necessarily bring my kids back here.

Wild Tiki Fun Zone – Menu with Prices – 735 Iwilei Rd, Honolulu

Great experience! The absolute BEST place to have a child’s birthday party. Our party host, Brandon (that is also a manager) was so GREAT with all of the kids, he spoke to them in a way that they related well to, and they all acutally listened! The food was also served by him and his staff, and the cake. I didnt have to do anything and was able to enjoy also (and relax!). They were extremely accomadating (I had to add on kids about three different time) and they made it simple. Overall, a perfect, totally stress-free party!!!!!!

Pokelicious – Menu with Prices – 7414 W 119th St, Overland Park

Best poke restaurant in town! So many options to choose from- fish, sauces, and toppings. I made my own bowl with the sushi rice and the different salmon (smoked, spicy, etc) options. It’s obvious they use extremely fresh fish and toppings that are flavorful! They make all the sauces by hand and they have korean bbq and tofu bowls as well for those who dont like poke. They also serve local kombucha and even free fruit/veggie infused water. I always worry about portion sizes with poke places, however pokelicious gave me plenty of food and i could barely finished my bowl. The atmosphere of the restaurant is very cute and lively. Everything was very clean and the lighting was beautiful. It isn’t too big so it may be difficult to sit with a large group but they utilized the space very well to seat a lot of people. The staff was pleasant as well and they all seemed to love their jobs and the chef is super passionate about what he does and the food he serves. I highly recommend this place for those who want a good poke bowl for a great price and fast service!

BrainFreeze Ice Cream Shoppe – Menu with Prices – 1773 Cardinal Ln, Green Bay

Great place! Friendly and accommodating staff, great atmosphere. I definitely recommend this establishment! My daughter’s attend school across the street from BrainFreeze, and their house went on a waffle Wednesday. I was amazed at how calm and organized they were with over 50 people needing to be served. They were patient, helpful, quick and efficient. Smiles adorned the employees faces in the middle of all the chaos. The selection of flavors was excellent, the price was amazing, especially compared to other ice cream shops in the Green Bay, DePere, and Howard-Suamico area. All the kids-and parents as well-advised a great time. I will definitely be returning, and if you haven’t tried this place yet you must!
