My family visited the juicy seafood about a month or so ago. To be honest I thought that the service was good the ambiance was great but the menu selection was less than I expected. I thought that it was going to be more like a crab boil or are you just order a small medium or large whatever to feed your family but instead it seemed like it was much more expensive to have that experience there. so without spending a whole bunch of money I just got the shrimp in a bag which was seasoned to my liking it’s just that I wasn’t able to have corn and sausage and potatoes all included. I did have the shrimp with the potato but it was really lacking The full experience and I didn’t believe that it was necessary to charge a whole bunch of money to have corn and sausage added to the entree. so while the entree did taste good I believe that the menu should I add more without a family coming in and spending a whole bunch of money so I raided the restaurant at 2 and me personally I will not go back because I didn’t feel that I got value for the money spent. So go and experience it for yourself and see if you feel that you’ve got the value that you expected.

Claw Daddy’s Menu with Prices 2800 CA-119, Bakersfield

This place is bomb! My wife and I went on 11-8-19 for our anniversary. It was our first time going. The staff was very friendly. Menu is straight forward filled with various options you would expect from a crab boil type establishment. We ordered the king crab and crawdads with “give it to me daddy” spice and kickin heat. We added corn, garlic bread, and sausage. Food came pretty quick and the smell just blows you away. You can taste all the wonderful spices before you even get a piece in your mouth. This is definitely a messy eat but that should be expected. Nonetheless, there were a number of risk takers sporting white…I had blue plaid and would rethink that option for my next visit. It’s too good not to go full bore into the eating experience. We will be going back, the flavor was amazing, pricing was as should be expected and you can pre-check the menu and pricing on their website. Only advice I have is order more sausage. We didn’t know what to expect and got 1 order of sausage, which is 4 pieces in the bag. The sausage was good quality and full of flavor. I would recommend 3 orders just to get that extra bang. It’s not expensive to add and was worth it.

Prince Kuhio Cafe – Menu with Prices – 300 Ala Moana Blvd, Honolulu

The cruise was okay! We had a bad experience with the man in charge (Manager). He was very rude to everyone. He continuously yelled at the passengers during the entire boarding process. The cruise was not so relaxing. It was very very rocky. The shrimp were really good. They didnt have alternatives for vegetarians. Everyone received steak and shrimp. The only thing that made the cruise a enjoyable experience was the firework show and the great service from our waiter.

Krunchy krab seafood – Menu with Prices – 1142 Texas Ave, Lakeland

Can we show this family business some LOVE?!! Where do I begin??? May I give it six stars? Ten? What’s a 72 mile drive for PHENOMENAL seafood?!! This walk up restaurant has been open 13 months. The older man at the window is the chef’s father. The menu is on the outside wall & is easy to read– prices are clearly marked. There are no inside or outside tables. It’s TO GO only. I was greeted immediately by the father– w/ his big smile & big personality. After ordering a shrimp meal & two sides–snow crab & clams, he told me he was “going to save (me) some money.” So he finagled it so I’d have a different meal than what was listed on the menu, charging me slightly under $20 rather than close to $30. After paying, I realized I had forgotten to order a bottle of cold water; he insisted (twice) that I take it @ no charge. After my order was prepared, he walked my bagged container out to my vehicle, insisting on placing it in my cooler and onto my front seat. Before I drove off, this friendly & most kind gentleman reminded me that all the food cooked here is cooked to order– it’s all served hot & fresh. There are three levels of seasoning (mild for wussies like I), & it’s the “garlic butter that makes each meal so good.” It was well more than an hour before I arrived home to weigh the food & eat 4 oz of my entree. The container weighed 2.12 lbs! And the food was still warm (& delicious)! Everything cost just under $20, & there was enough food for two– if I should want to share, which is highly doubtful:) The Snow Crab, Shrimp, Clams, Sausage, Corn (a full ear), & Potato (one large, but sectioned) were HEAVENLY! The garlic butter was a nice added touch. I will definitely return! If I lived closer, I’d stop in weekly. This business is just off Memorial & close to MLK; it is a clean area, albeit poor. There’s a nice park across the street, & the single family homes are well maintained. This is an entirely different (& safer) area than it was when I last visited Lakeland two decades ago. Kudos to the city of Lakeland planners for their revitalization efforts!

CJ’s Crab House – Menu with Prices – 5890 Norwood Ave, Jacksonville

As a southerner from the coast, I am quite fond of a low country boil. During a recent trip while visiting family, I was introduced to this establishment. I ordered shrimp, sausages, corn, and a potato. I ordered extra corn and sausages. The seasoning was great, but a bit spicy for my liking. The corn was delicious!! I was so enthused about ordering extra. I did not eat the sausage because it had a very weird taste. The shrimp were seasoned well but were overcooked. The potato was delicious as well. I would perhaps revisit to allow for this establishment to redeem itself. The food looked really good but did not taste as good as it looked.

WING STATION – Menu with Prices – 619 S Pine Ave, Ocala

This is the second time we’ve gotten takeout from here and really liked it. The first time we got 10 garlic Parmesan wings and the shrimp boil with Cajun seasoning. The wings were good, a little small, but cooked well and we really liked the seasoning. The shrimp boil was very good and a good value, 25 medium sized shrimp cooked perfectly with potatoes, corn and a small piece of sausage for $12.99. This time we got the special party seafood boil and the 4-Piece catfish dinner. Again, I think they have good value for what you get. The seafood boil easily fed 2 people with 1 snow crab cluster,10 medium shrimp, 10 crawfish, potatoes and corn. It also listed sausage but we didn’t get any of that and I think there should have been 2 corn on the cobs for such a big serving of everything else. The fried catfish was also a really good value, 4 huge pieces of fish and french fries for $10.99. Give them a try.

Granny’s Fresh Seafood & Crabs – Menu with Prices – 2815 Lipscomb St, Melbourne

Even though I’m not a seafood (shell fish) person, I took my older sister here for her birthday since she had a craving for some crabs. Somebody told me about this place, so I figured we would give it a try. Since I don’t eat shell fish, I ordered the garlic butter Tilapia platter which came with potatoes, corn and sausage. I also ordered an additional side of sausage and corn. The only thing I have to compare my experience with is the way my family cooks seafood when they have a fish fry. So I know great flavor when I taste it. The Tilapia was very moist, and they gave me a lot of potatoes and sausage which came with one short sweet corn on the cob. The Corn was magnificent. It was balanced in its flavor and satisfied my taste buds. The Tilapia with the Garlic butter seasoning lacked the flavor I was hoping to experience. The sliced sausages was ok. I wasn’t feeling the type of sausage used. My sister order 2 separate orders of the crab platter, one seasoned in garlic butter and the other in Cajun and she liked them both, but liked the Cajun even more for the crabs. I didn’t think what I experienced was better than the way my family cooks seafood, with the exception of the corn, lol. So I wasn’t impressed, but Its definitely a place to try…Good for takeout. They just opened in May in 2018, so I’m sure there’s a lot needed to be worked out. But I’m not quite sure if I would come here again. The lady behind the counter was nice, and gave us big portions. However, we did wait an hr for our food. So it would be very wise to call ahead and place your order.

Cajun Shack NOLA – Menu with Prices – 9830 Lake Forest Blvd Suite 110, New Orleans

Located in between Read and Crowder, Cajun Shack is one of the newest boiled seafood spot to pop up in the East! There was plenty of parking in the strip it’s located in and the place is very clean and modern inside. I ordered 3 pounds of Crawfish, an order of Pig Feet, Boiled Corn, Potatoes, and a D&D Sausage to share with my dad. Their crawfish had plenty of flavor and a good spice level to it. Not too spicy, but enough to give you the sniffles and maybe give you a little cajun tear. The boiled corn and potatoes were good, but nothing too exciting. They were very generous with the amount of pig feet for the order and it was delicious! You cannot go wrong with D&D Sausage, that is always enjoyable. Tried them again a week after for their other items. Ordered the Shrimp Po Boy, Hot Sausage with Cheese on Bun, D&D Smoked Sausage on Bun, Fried Wings, Meat Pie, and Crawfish Pie for my family. Everything smelled so good when I opened up my bag and it was hard to restrain myself from digging in immediately. I was patient and was able to take some quick snaps to show everyone my glorious food. My family and I enjoyed everything that I ordered. The shrimp po boy was so so good with great sized shrimps and they were fried and seasoned very nicely! It was dressed perfectly and everything just went well together. You can never go wrong with a hot sausage on bun, but theirs was especially good. They put on two hot sausage patties and every bite I took was so gloriously meaty! I usually do not order smoked sausage on bun, but I am glad I did this time around. The wings and pies were all good, but all just your usual standard items at a seafood spot. Everything I ordered was just spot on! Overall, a great new seafood spot to check out in New Orleans East! The staff is really friendly and eager to serve their customers, I cannot wait to check out their hot foods whenever they come out!

Go Cajun Subs – Menu with Prices – 1027 Sawdust Rd #375, Spring

The location is kinda unassuming in the lik strip mall but when you walk in, there are the wooden tables and black seating. Kinda has a rustic feel. You immediately smell the food. To me, it smelled like hot sausage which is amazing! There was a New Orleans Jazz music playing quietly over the speaker. Made me smile when I heard “Do whatchu wanna” come over the speaker. The menu is pretty to the point. I really wanted a poboy but my trainer would kill me. I opted for the chicken and sausage gumbo with added blackened shrimp. You do pay per shrimp. I think I’d like a 3 for something price to make it easy to order. The owner, I presume, worked alone, so it took a little longer than I expected to get the gumbo. There was an order prior to mine. It was prepared on the stove so I do understand the delay. In communing with the owner, I got the feeling he moves to the beat of his own drum. The gumbo is full of meat, looks like basmati rice, and has a good flavor. Didn’t put me in the mind of New Orleans but rather NOLA-inspired. He sure can blacken some meat though! I’d eat it again.

Po-Boy City, LLC – Menu with Prices – 5001 14th Ave, Columbus

Yay!!!! Finally!!!! N’awlins has made it to Columbus, Ga. This is the real deal…. it was awesome!!! If you want Cajun/Creole and a taste of authentic New Orleans cooking. This is it! Sooo sorry… Thibodeaux’s & Cafe Le Rue…. watch and learn! Their food is good for imposters. But, it’s not New Orleans. The gumbo is delicious. And, crawfish…yes!…crawfish! Yum! We had crawfish, shrimp, sausage, potatoes & corn (lo country boil) and it was divine. I’m talking died and went to heaven kinda good. Loved it! The people that work there (it’s a family place) are friendly and are true New Orleans…. translation: they treat you like family and make you feel at home, like you’ve known them forever. It’s a must try! But, beware highly addictive!

Plaza III Steakhouse – Menu with Prices – 12631 Metcalf Ave, Overland Park

We have dined at this restaurant four times since it relocated to Overland Park. Three times we were there for dinner and one time for happy hour. We have had one good experience for dinner and two that were unacceptable. Happy hour was great — great service and food and prices and we’ll definitely return for that. Our experience for dinner in December and this most recent experience were unacceptable. Our experience in January was great. When we were there for dinner with friends last weekend it was the worst experience of the four we had. The service was slow and the food mediocre. Drink and appetizer service was also slow, they arrived about the same time dinner was served. There were four different entrees served at the table and the most positive comment was that the food was passable. The prime rib was a nice cut and cooked perfectly but was tough, the same with the filet and the shrimp in the shrimp/scallops dish were chewy. The caesar salad and wedge were drenched in dressing, WAY too much. The spinch on the oysters rockefeller was almost raw. We expressed our displeasure to the Manager and he gave us a complimentary bottle of wine — which was nice of him, but really didn’t make up for the unacceptable experience. I really hate to give up on eating dinner here because our one good experience in January during Restaurant Week was that good. But for the prices they charge I don’t want to take a chance on spending a lot of money for a dining experience that is unacceptable.

Time Out Sports Bar & Grill – Menu with Prices – 1762 S Greenfield Rd Ste 111, Mesa

My fiance and I came here when it first changed to Time Out. We sat at a bar table and was assisted by the bartender. she was SO nice and told us all about the new changes and how she worked there when it was Fat Willys and we told her how we only went there once because food was gross. She assured us new owner made many changes. We were ecstatic. We ordered a burger and wings and some mixed drinks. Food came out perfect. No complaints at all. We live across the street and were excited that this place was now amazing. Ended there because every time we go in there now there is new charges. Now they charge for fries when they didnt the first time. Then after getting our bill we noticed they charge for kids drinks, they dont come with the kids meal like most places. Also they have kids eat free which is a big deal for us since we have 3, well apparently even though we paid full price for wings because it wasnt a day they were on special, they still wouldnt count it as an entree even though they cost more than the burger. At least make it a dollar amount or have it written somewhere in the place. We gad an amazing experience the first time but have been back 3 times since and been disappointed by service and by surprise charges. Wont be coming back. Havent seen that nice bartender since, unfortunately. Seems like they just want to do anything to get more money out of you but not really care about their guests. Sad to see.

J Crab House – Menu with Prices – 4807 W Irlo Bronson Memorial Hwy E, Kissimmee

Fun fact about me. I LOVE SEAFOOD!!!!!! It was no surprise that this Louisiana girl was gonna look for some seafood where ever I visited ! You yelpers didn’t disappoint with this one. Man you all had it right! So I was on yelp of course looking for a great local spot to get some seafood and I stumbled upon a couple reviews on this spot. I told my husband last night we are eating here today! So we did! We arrived to a strip mall where this restaurant is located. It is very clean outside there is no loitering of any sorts. You approach the door and pull it doesn’t open at first and then I read the sign that if I didn’t RSVP to read the menu in the right of the door ( see photos ) we went in and we asked to be seated for 2! Now mind you there are about 6 tables and 3 were empty but we were told that these tables were reserved for patrons! I was a little taken back but none the less we ordered food to go (good thing the hotel wasn’t too too far) We ordered the shrimp that comes with 1 pound of skin on head off shrimp, a corn, and potato. We also ordered 1 pound of snow crabs that comes with a corn and a potato. We added a piece of sausage! He asked are you ok with peeling and de-veining your own shrimp? I replied I’m from Louisiana we peel our own seafood Man when I tell you it was sooooooo good and though I mentioned 1 pound each it was very filling and the sausage was the bomb.com it was Kielbasa and I had never had that. It did remind me of the andouille we eat in Louisiana. There was flavor in each shrimp and they were pretty big. Now the guy said that they were getting booked for tomorrow already…….hopefully my bro and sis in law will want some after I tell them it’s so good and will want to go Friday. I would go back but I would call ahead. The cost is only a tad more than that we pay for seafood in Louisiana that is prepared that way. If you are in Orlando, call or swing by! You will not be disappointed
