Really cute little hippie place with lots of charm. I went in at 8 am on a weekday, and they were really busy, but they called almost everyone by their names, and got me in and out in less then 10 min! the coffee was amazing, it was extremely well made, the staff was super friendly and seemed to be having fun, talking to their regulars and really hustling making the drinks and food. One of the best mochas I have had in a long time! I would have paid double the price and waited twice as long for a drink of that quality, but it was super quick, and cheap! The muffins were amazing as well. I was very very impressed with them. Will defiantly be back

The Tin Can – Menu with Prices – 644 Migaldi Ln #7758, Lansing

Decided to meet my sisters for a drink on an afternoon. The place just opened for the day (3:00pm). We walked in with what looked like a group of 3 regulars who sat at the bar. Anyways the female bartender acted really wishy washy about drinks and prices. She wouldn’t tell us what we owed and just would say $10.00 should cover it or something to that liking. My one sister paid for her drink and never got the change. Just weird to me. Why wouldn’t she just say ‘that will be $4.50 or whatever’? Let us know the price and we can decide the tip ourselves. I always tip but don’t like it when someone is sly about the price and keeps the change without asking. Seating is only at the bar or high top tables.

Incognito Coffee – Menu with Prices – School Of Music, 843 Seymour Street Atrium of VSO, Vancouver

Alright.. so.. I’m VERY picky on my coffee drinks – mochas, lattes, americanos, etc, to the point that Starbucks and Cafe Artigiano are like.. meh. And I’ve been to independent coffee shops even around Montreal too and it’s all just.. meh. BUT THIS CAFE.. GODDAAAAAYUM. FIRSTLY, it’s in the same building as the Vancouver Sympthony Orchestra which is super neat! My little sister who has autism, and I come here every week for her music classes. And after every class, we each get a drink and a dessert before our long car ride home in traffic which puts us in relaxation beforehand. Their chocolate chip cookies are incredible! They’re big in size, soft and chewy which you don’t see often! My sister is super picky with food but she can eat these in seconds!!!! So awesome! Their blueberry cheesecake as well holy f, to. Die. For. AND their croissants!!!! Oh honey. I can’t even delicious assss f!!!!!! I’ve attached some photos of the drinks I’ve had and you could see that the baristas put effort and style into their drinks. AND YES, they’re as good as they look! Hands down some of the best mochas and lattes I’ve ever had, and for the price?! Looooooord have mercy! Alright.. and the most important part of all my reviews.. customer service. I.. honest to god can’t tell you enough of how outstanding, how amazing the owners and staff of this cafe are!!! The wife and husband who own this are fckin the sweetest people! They’re super welcoming with the warmest smiles the second they see you, and greet you with such enthusiasm and bubbliness! They’re also really funny and personable, and make conversation with my sister and I every time we’re there. If they notice that you’ve seated down, they will bring your drinks and food to you! So you don’t have to keep getting up to check if they’re done! Sooo stinkin sweet! You can immediately tell that they care about their customers. Such a warm, family, type of vibe that you don’t feel at other cafes!! The interior is gorgeous as well! It’s really clean, and the staff are consistent at coming out onto the floor to tidy tables up after people are done, and to restock the refrigerator and dessert stand. Incognito is by far, my favourite cafe in downtown. If you’re just visiting, or wanting to go on a cute little coffee date, or craving some seriously good coffee.. you MUST come here!!! They have Instagram as well if you wanna see more photos and what they’re about!! Instagram.com/incognitocoffee.ca Thank you guys so much, for making my sister and I have the yummiest, most nicest experiences every time we go here! I’ll always come through for as long as I’m living in Vancouver!!!

Blanchard Mountain Coffee Co Menu with Prices 1456 Lake Samish Rd, Bellingham

I don’t know my barista’s name, but she works in the morning and is absolutely amazing. Super sweet and gorgeous gal. I’ve been to a couple of other stands, and this is the only place where they talk to their customers, memorize drinks for regulars and knows my name. She even saw me getting gas once and already had my drink prepared for me when I pulled up. 10/10 would recommend this place just because of the great customer service. Also, their drinks are delicious!

Midori Matcha Cafe, Old Town Pasadena – Menu with Prices – 165 S De Lacey Ave #1049, Pasadena

I love everything Matcha! I passed this place before and since it was advertising matcha I bookmarked it on yelp. After finishing up at the gym I was craving a cold drink and thought a matcha drink would be perfect. There’s street parking available, but all are metered. I saw a sign inside that says free parking on Dayton street. Once I entered I was already impressed with the store. The interior was done in a clean and classy manner. There weren’t too many decorations, just enough to make it inviting. Their menu revolves around Matcha and I decided to go with their Iced Matcha Latte with low-fat milk (fat free is not available, only 2% and low- fat). The total came out to be $6.57, which is a hefty price for a drink. Since the drink was quite expensive I was hoping the quality was amazing and it did not disappoint. I saw the staff make the drink. They used actual Matcha powder, which based on the taste was high quality. A Matcha drink is not complete unless a Bamboo whisk is used and they did just that. Before milk was added the matcha drink was 85%/90% full! At other locations it’s all about the milk and less Matcha. Once I got the drink I was excited to give it a try. After the first sip I was instantly in love. It was the perfect Matcha drink. Matcha itself isn’t sweet, so don’t expect the drink to be sweet. There is liquid sweetener if needed, but I like my matcha natural. Overall I was impressed with my drink and will be coming back to try their soft serve or even another drink! The drinks may be a bit expensive, but the quality is definitely there. Also it’s a perfect place to catch up with friends over a hot/cold coverage or if you need a study place this is it! Update: I tried the Matcha coconut and it is the best. They use Harmless Harvest coconut water which is my favorite!

Lava Boba – Boba Milk Tea – Menu with Prices – 21040 Highland Knolls Dr #500, Katy

This was my first visit here! I was pretty excited to try this place because of the reviews and the BOGO deal they have when you check in. I had a bad first experience here though. It may have just been a bad day for them but when I came in they only had one employee (a trainee) working the front while there were customers in line and customers waiting on their drinks/ice cream. We waited a bit to place our order because the trainee was hustling to make drinks and ice cream orders. Once he got to us and we were trying to order, he informed us that half of the menu would be unavailable because the machines for the milk tea weren’t working. We then proceeded to order something else but couldn’t get the toppings we wanted because that too, was unavailable. So after waiting awhile to place our order, we were disappointed that we couldn’t even order the drinks we wanted. We ended up just settling for a simple passionfruit green tea and a strawberry slurp. We waited a decent amount for our drinks, as predicted. However, this time it looked like the boss/manager came out to finally help with the customers. As she was helping, she was also getting openly frustrated with the trainee. This made the environment very uncomfortable as she was chastising him for x, y, and z within hearing distance. The trainee made one of our drinks, the passionfruit green tea and seemed to forget about our BOGO drink, the strawberry slurp. We didn’t even bother to bug about our other drink at this point, knowing we’d be there for another 15-20 mins if so. We ended up leaving and won’t be coming back in the future. All in all, the drink tasted like a basic passionfruit green tea. Nothing spectacular.

Shenanigans Pub & Grill – Menu with Prices – 108, 550 Clareview Rd NW, Edmonton

Nice little pub. You can tell it is frequented by regulars. It was noon on a Saturday and all the pool tables were full, the bar stools had people at them and the patrons and servers knew each others names. If you are looking for a pub in this area I think this would work for you. Now I’m not a pub guy. I came for one reason and one alone: the steak and eggs special ($7). I don’t drink so I had a pop ($2) instead. For the price meal was good. The eggs were as ordered. The steak was just about right. The hashbrowns were nothing to write home about and the toast was thick Texas cut. About what I expected, perhaps a little underwhelmed by the hashbrowns. The servers were nice but service overall was slow. Perhaps more the kitchen than the servers. Not sure. By the time I got there everyone that was there had been served. I came in, sat and waited. I ordered my pop and waited. I got the pop and waited even though I was ready and my menu was clearly closed. She left before I could order. By this time a group of three came in and sat nearby. I assumed she would take my order and theirs on the next pass through. Nope. She took theirs first then came back later to get mine. Then I read and waited. Later when I looked up from what I was reading I noticed the table of three had their food already. Yes their order went in just before mine but I ordered the daily special! It shouldn’t have taken that long. It was well over an hour, almost an hour and a half before I felt. I got up and paid at the bar. I didn’t wait around for the cheque.

Taqueria El Asador – Menu with Prices – 7955 N Davis Hwy, Pensacola

Can I give this place a 4.5 star review?! or a 4.7?! I really would! This place is the best hole-in-the-wall Mexican food in the Panhandle! The only reason I would knock it down points is because I wish they would double-shell their tacos to prevent the taco from breaking while eating. It’s more sturdy this way. That, or they should invest in better quality tortillas! However, other than that… I have no complaints about this place! The service is excellent too; the employees really know how to use a grill! The meat is sooo fresh and has that smokey/grilled flavor you yearn for in meat, especially in their asada tacos! The price is great, super affordable. They also offer to make your taco a “supreme” where they add avocados, tomatoes, and cheese. Sooo good! BUT. Other than the tacos, the next best thing is their HOMEMADE SAUCES!!! The “green sauce” is my favorite, but the orange sauce is good too! On the side after you order, they also have a station where you can add fresh red/spicy salsa, pico de gallo, radishes, pickled onions, etc. I love how they have this option!!! It makes everything feel and taste authentic. They also have Wednesday’s as $8 Monterey Chicken special! Make sure to check that out! Their chicken is also delicious! Even their drinks are good too… the horchata comes in a big size for a cheap price! Can the managers and cooks also look into making elote available?! Ahhhh!!! They need to get bigger and open a restaurant instead of being road side. They have so much potential! Thank you for serving the Panhandle with amazing Mexican food!

Urban Wines and Spirits – Menu with Prices – 45 1st Avenue, New York

This place is amazing; I felt I really needed to write a review. I’m sooooo impressed by the guys working there!!! BEST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER!!!!! Today, I ordered a cheap bottle of vodka and a cheap box of wine for a little event I’m having. Instead, they called saying they didn’t have the wine in stock. Rather than spoiling the event, they instead upgraded my vodka, gave me a selection of 1,5L wines and a T-shirt. I am blown away!!! From now on, I’ll never go anywhere else…. even if it’s inconvenient!! Also, I must say, I have never waited more than 15 minutes to have my booze delivered using their app. I swear, it’s like they teleport. It has such a chill atmosphere and the guys are super knowledgeable and authentically kind. They legitimately just want to expose customers to new things and truly love learning about and discussing wine. Their passion and love for what they do, elevates alcohol consumption to an fun educational experience. Really excellent quality at a range of prices. Though I was first intimidated to go into a boutique looking wine shop, it turns out, the shady liquor store with bulletproof glass one block away and it is somehow WAY more expensive.

Chico & Chang – Menu with Prices – 3850 Riverside Dr, Macon

Wow! I went once when they first opened and got takeout. Canâ??t remember what I thought of the food then. But today, I experienced amazing service and food. The lady working the counter was BEYOND hospitable. She knew many guests (I assume regulars) by name. She was so accommodating and made conversations with guests making recommendations for their next visits about things they might enjoy based upon their feedback, giving samples of hot sauces and really creating a relationship with the guests. The staff was efficient, food tasted amazing, obviously fresh, they were welcoming, the place was super clean. I am extremely impressed. Canâ??t wait to try the rest of the menu!!!! I strive to offer this kind of service at my own establishment. A+!!!!!

Whiskey Tango – Menu with Prices – 1111 E Republic Rd #180, Springfield

What a different concept. Small menu but that doesn’t matter because whatever you get it’s delicious. Fried olives-exceptional. Sliders-amazing. The atmosphere is something I have never seen before. Super comfortable but also alluring. We were there twice in one day. Dinner and drinks before a concert and then came back for drinks after the concert. Our waiter was Drew and he was awesome. Attentive but not over bearing. He had great suggestions for what we should eat and drink and he made sure we were taken care of. Great young man who truly cares about his job. The bartender was also excellent. His drinks were delicious. Overall we were super impressed. I highly recommend Whiskey Tango

Rolling Sushi – Menu with Prices – 12592 Foothill Blvd, Rancho Cucamonga

This place has horrible customer service. We walked in and waited to get served someone came and took our order. 10 minutes later a party of four comes in they were high-fiving the chef and they proceeded to go sit down. We waited another 15 minutes they got their food even though we had ordered before them. We proceeded to wait another 15 minutes. We then asked where our food was and didn’t get a response. We asked why it was the other party got their food first and the server told us it was because they are regulars and the chef knew what they wanted. We paid for our drinks and proceeded to leave.

Juice It Up! – Menu with Prices – 26917 Sierra Hwy, Newhall

I had a fairly tall order this morning… 6 smoothies, to keep my team motivated at the office. With an order like that I was already a bit frazzled. When I got to the cashier I ordered my multiple smoothies then paid. I could see the line building as the two gentlemen were making my order. While I waited, I remembered I had a coupon.. Eek. I felt terrible but it was buy one get one, so I felt as though I needed to speak up. When I did, Joshua was quick to assist me with my cash back. He also advised his co-worker to hand write and begin making drinks for the next in line. Joshua didn’t skip a beat and was very patient with me during my fumble. I so appreciate the customer service, and the smoothies were even better! Thanks a bunch gentlemen, well done!
