I really enjoy this place. My friend recommended that I try this place out, and I’m glad I did. I came in with a friend during lunch time. We both ordered the same meal. We tried the lentil burger with the deviled avocado. I really enjoyed the taste of the burger, something I’d definitely purchase again. I wasn’t too crazy about the deviled avocado, but that’s just me. My friend raved about it! To each his/her/their own. I didn’t get a chance to try the cheesecake I wanted, but decided to go back later that day to order a plain vanilla cheesecake. It was a tad frozen. I’m not sure if they’re supposed to be sold that way or not. After a few bites (well, scrapes), it began to soften. It tasted pretty good. My 5 year old loved it! Win, win in my book! I recommend the vegan cheesecakes for sure. One of my favorite parts about this place, besides the super friendly owner(s), is the Island Mon smoothie. Not only does it taste good and healthy, it’s also very affordable! Overall, this is a cute and quaint place to take out food. I look forward to going back and ordering the vegan lasagna next time

Linda’s Vegetarian Village – Menu with Prices – 6381 Germantown Ave, Philadelphia

Was looking for a Vegan spot “near me” and found Linda’s. The Falafel Burger is fantastic! I could eat it everyday. It is topped with tomatoes, lettuce, some wonderful sauce, vegan cheese and sauteed onions. It looked great, smelled great and tasted great. I bought couscous, chick’n wrap and raw blueberry cheesecake, also. The cheesecake is creamy and the cashew and coconut oil flavors are very present so if you aren’t a fan of either, it might not be for you (it works for me). The couscous has good flavor from the garlic, scallions and peppers. I haven’t tried my wrap yet but I am anticipating happy, happy times with it!

Cheesy Eddie’s – Menu with Prices – 602 South Ave, Rochester

It’s Good, plain and simply put! The Key Lime Blossom was my favorite item. It was creamy and solid, yet light with an amazing lime flavor that was clearly present but not overpowering. I was glad to see items other than just slices of cheesecake available for purchase. Also tried the carrot cake which was delicious. The cheesecake was good as well! With so many flavored slices to choose from, it was hard to pick just 1, but i went with the Apple streusel and it was a great choice. The Apple streusel isn’t a wild crazy “over-the-top” flavor as described but As I’m writing this I’m just realizing that their “over-the-top” cheesecakes ( as opposed to classic) just means that there are toppings ‘over the top’ of the cheesecake, LOL, not wild outrageous flavors. Wow, Lol Definitely will go back if i need a Cheesecake fix our a freshly made dessert!

Bull’s Horn Food and Drink – Menu with Prices – 4563 S 34th Ave, Minneapolis

Friend recommended this place and claimed they have the best burger in Minnesota. I can’t say the same but it is definitely one of my top five. Burger tasted awesome. It reminded me of a tastier version of a Big Mac. Very simple – lettuce, pickle, and special sauce. It’s well worth the extra dollar to add American cheese. The fries were good – also reminded me of McDonald’s fries. I just wish it was hot and not served warm. We also ordered fried cheese curds and deviled eggs. The cheese curds were delicious. Better than what you can get at the fair. Deviled eggs were great, too. It had some sort of pickled relish thing at the bottom of the yolk. Couldn’t tell what it was exactly but it complimented the egg. Drinks weren’t special – what you can normally get at a dive bar. Bathroom is unisex. I wasn’t surprised by it, but it threw me off just a bit. FYI. Service was meh. It took our waiter awhile to get us our drinks and to come take our order, but once the order was in the food came out fairly quickly. I would definitely go back.

Charlie’s Cheesecake Works – Menu with Prices – 1179 Redmond Ave, San Jose

if you havent already, you MUST try charlie’s cheesecakes. ive been waiting a long time to try their products but never had the chance to until recently. the boyfriend and i ordered a box of their sampler cheesecake bites (poppers) and fell in love with it! we also ordered a bigger chocolate cheesecake for a birthday dinner. everyone reported back about how delicious the cheesecake had been. although i havent gotten a chance to try out every flavor that appealed to me, i did try these flavors and absolutely loved them: -their “silicon valley” original (new york) -strawberry -chocolate -blueberry i was not a fan of their latte and key lime pie flavors, but that didnt impact my opinion at all! cant expect to like everything, lol. they have a HUGE selection of flavors…its so exciting! by far, charlie’s cheesecake surpasses the cheesecake factory. their cheesecake is authentic and has the consistency that real cheesecake should have… packed and dense. no integrated cake nor layers of cream frills. just 100% cheesecake through and through. love it!

CheeseQuakes! Menu with Prices 1511 Shattuck Ave, Berkeley

Newly opened cheesecake shop in the Epicurious Garden food hall selling a variety of flavors of cheesecake made with high quality ingredients. This is their second retail location, with the first being in the Ferry Building, and there are also some other stores in the Berkeley area that carry their cheesecakes. They have a variety of sizes and flavors, including lemon champagne, homemade butterscotch, and candycap mushroom (!). They also sell graham crackers (with the cute name “just the crust”). The cheesecake here is very creamy, and I really liked it. In my friend’s words “That cheesecake was so good!!!! It melted my sorrows away.” We tried a mini cheesecake and a double slice in the following flavors: -Original SF – very very creamy, even more so than the other flavors. A bit sweet for me personally but still very good. -Bourbon vanilla bean – you can taste the bourbon in this, and there are flecks of vanilla bean throughout. Not as creamy as the original but the flavor was more interesting to me. Also a bit sweet. -Triple chocolate – very rich and chocolatey, and slightly less sweet than the other two flavors. Also very good. The one thing I didn’t love was the price – a 4.25 oz mini cheesecake costs $7.25, and two 3 oz slices together cost $9.50. Even with the high quality ingredients I thought this was a bit steep.

Luther Burger – Menu with Prices – 1001 W Main St, Charlottesville

Props to Luther Burger for bringing the vegan burger to Charlottesville. I definitely had a heart attack while eating it, but it’s worth it once in a while. I forgot whether the vegan bacon was made with tempeh or seitan (I always confuse the two), so don’t forget to ask if you’re curious, but it was a very good addition to the burger. I also forgot whether the burger is Impossible or Beyond Meat, so I’ll also have to ask again when I return. Impossible Burger is reported to test on animals, so transparency on where Luther Burger sources their vegan products would be great. I personally prefer the taste of Beyond Burgers. I’ll also have to try the milkshakes the next time I come back. I however won’t be getting the fries again. Like reviewer Dusk C. said, “they’re too dry for my liking.” I didn’t end up finishing them as a result of the dryness. Parking also looks like it’ll be a pain on busy days, but thankfully Charlottesville is a semi-walkable city.

Gelato Brothers Brew Bros Coffee – Southside – Menu with Prices – 1014 Sevier Ave Suite B, Knoxville

I’ve had so many friends recommend this place to me and it seriously did not disappoint! It’s a very small store and the employee was so nice and I got to try out a few sample tastes before I made my decision. I got a lil bro and it included two scoops of gelato in which I got the strawberry cheesecake and banana caramel. The price was $6 even (which I appreciated not having to count out change lol) which is a little steep but always down to support your small businesses! The strawberry cheesecake was definitely my favorite and not overly sweet. My friend got the Belgian dark chocolate and banana caramel and she loved it. Super creamy and almost wispy gelato. Indoor seating is limited to one table but there’s some outdoor seating available. Definitely one of my favorite dessert places in Knoxville and I’m so happy I finally got to try it out!

Nicey Treat – Menu with Prices – 916 E Westfield Blvd, Indianapolis

Nicey is my favorite dessert place in Broad Ripple! If you want to get a sweet treat, check out Nicey Treat! They are located across from 317 Burger on the back street of Broad Ripple. They have over 40 flavors of popsicles there are seasonal flavors and flavors they have all year round. If you are vegan, they also have popsicles that are vegan. Some of the vegan popsicles they have are peach, mango ginger, avocado, strawberry mint, and more. For a more creamy popsicle, they have flavors like not so hot chocolate, almond butter, toasted coconut, let lime pie, and more. You can even get your popsicles dipped in milk chocolate or dark chocolate! Not only the popsicles at Nicey are great, but so are the employees. You can be sure to be greeted with a huge smile when you enter the store. The employees are very helpful at describing the popsicles and helping you make a decision! I have never had a bad experience here. Nicey Treat is a great place to go with your whole family! There is a treat with your name on it when you come into Nicey!

Izzy’s Cheesecake – Menu with Prices – 135 Walton St, Portland

My boyfriend asked me, “What do you want for your birthday this year?” and my response was, “Cheesecake. All I want is a good cheesecake.” He then did his research on some of the best places in Maine to get cheesecake, and this was a top recommendation. We arrived to their cozy little location in Portland, and greeted by wonderful staff members. The cheesecake was deliciously smooth and creamy, and the crust was crumbly and scrumptious. Will definitely be back in the future, and will be sharing this place with friends!

Canopy Road Market – Menu with Prices – 1979 Northgate Blvd, Sarasota

What can I say about Camiâ??s cheesecakes, THE BEST EVER!!!!!! We live near new york, I know my cheesecake. Cami made my daughterâ??s wedding cake on November 2 2017. It was so creamy and moist but not too sweet. She also made small bite cheesecakes in various flavors which everyone loved, especially the key lime. They were the perfect size. For the rehearsal dinner, we had cuban food, so Cami made these delicious brownies and tres leches mini-cakes. I can still taste that tres leches. God, I miss it. One more thing about Cami. We were so frantically busy between the rehearsal and the dinner for 60 people that she actually delivered the desserts to the rehearsal venue just to make things easier for me. So incredibly sweet. Cami, I really appreciate everything you did for us! Thank you from the bottom of my heart.

South Cali Steak Burger Bar – Menu with Prices – 301 Montgomery St, Chula Vista

South Cali Steak Burger Bar (what a mouthful, huh?) did not disappoint. Our burgers were fire. I love when you go to a burger place & the burgers taste homemade, these burgers taste just like burgers you’d make for yourself on the grill at home. They were super juicy & flavorful. My husband ordered the original charbroiled burger w/ cheese & I ordered the avocado bacon burger. I was super torn because they have a teriyaki pineapple burger but I make those all the time at home, still I know it would have been lit. We both ordered 6oz patties & I literally thought they gave me the 8oz in error because my burger was huge, I could barely finish half. A huge plus was that they did NOT skimp on the ingredients! They gave me some big ol’ slices of avocado & three full slices of perfectly cooked bacon. THREE full slices! My husband made his meal a combo which came w/ seasoned fries & they were good, I love me a seasoned fry, y’all. South Cali Steak Burger Bar would have been out of our way otherwise but my husband had driven me down to Chula Vista so I could pick up some Cuban pastries and we almost didn’t stop in, despite the stellar reviews, because we didn’t see parking, but I’m so glad we did. I think we paid a little over $20 altogether & those are my kind of prices so I’d definitely stop in again if I ever found myself in Chula Vista.

Sweet Hereafter Cheesecakery – Menu with Prices – 6148 Quinpool Rd, Halifax

My friend and I arrived a few minutes before opening but they still let us in anyway, which was nice! The selection was on the smaller side, but I suppose it’s not fair to compare them to something like The Cheesecake Factory where you have dozens upon dozens of flavours. I ended up getting the Kit Kat cheesecake and an iced green tea drink. Surprisingly, the iced green tea was really delicious. It had a touch of lemonade that added a tanginess to it. The cheesecake itself was decent. If you’re a fan of NY-style cheesecake, you’ll like this place. Overall, while I prefer the much lighter and nuanced Japanese-style cheesecake (where I can literally eat the entire cake in one day), I enjoyed the Kit Kat slice well enough. It was chocolate on top of chocolate, so if you’re a fan of that, then this one’s for you. Service was super friendly as well! The only other downside is that it was quite pricy for a single slice.
