Horrible service. I came into this establishment with high expectations because it seemed nice and under groundingish; however, we got carded twice back to back in a empty bar ban to back … the bartender was very aggressively rude and non helping. A simple question was asked “what do you have on special?” The response was …um nothing (with one person at the bar) and walked away. I ordered a grey goose cosmo (made decent) my two friends ordered beers and took a while to pour from draft. They had reason pizza box on the counter and casual dressed “bar back” i’m assuming cleans toilets as well, was super rude as well. Will not expect to return to this establishment what so ever! Two stars for the cosmopolitan

The Thirsty Topher – Menu with Prices – 601 Virginia Dr, Orlando

Sweet little neighborhood pub. Lots of local brews to choose from. Bartender, big Rick, was very helpful. He gave great recommendations. Service was excellent. I wanted to beers, but only wanted to have one beer. He allowed me to have half of each beer. That was perfect. It’s a little warm inside, they’re not running their air-conditioning low or they don’t have any. It looks like there’s a cute little patio outside. There is a small parking lot behind, so you don’t have to park on the street. They have draft beers and bottled beers and canned beers. So there’s something for everyone. The inside decor is really neat. The bar is live edge wood, so beautiful. Casual place to drop by and have a beer or two with friends. I’ll be back to try something else from their dark beers selection. But I did enjoy the putting and the 10 fiddy.

The Blue Coyote – Menu with Prices – 5500 University Pkwy, San Bernardino

It’s not bad, but I would stay away from the food, not usually the best , the tacos are alright at a $1 a taco. The cashier/ servers are usually friendly and sometimes pour the beer just right, and if they don’t , They usually accommodate with a trial of another beer. They have about 6-8 beers on draft and I believe carry some cider beers as well. Too bad they don’t have a tip jar, come on management, get with it.

Dirty Couch Brewing – Menu with Prices – 2715 W Fort St, Seattle

My friends and I literally stumbled upon dcb after finishing a drizzly & brisk walk at Discovery Park on a Saturday afternoon. Truthfully, we were drawn in by the minimalist logo and the dogs we saw sitting inside. I’m so glad we did! Most of the menu is sour beers, which can be very polarizing if you’re not in the mood for it. Luckily, they have a couple IPAs on the menu too. What I enjoyed was their option to get a 5oz pour ($2) for all of the beers on tap – not as much of a commitment as a 12oz pour! We ended up sharing multiple beers amongst our group in the short time we were there. Our favorites were the Plausibility Whiskey Sour Porter and the Irregularity Blackberry Sour Blonde. There’s a decent amount of seating, some board games, and service was very friendly. When I come back to Seattle in the future, I’ll make an effort to stop by dcb!

Institution Ale Co. – Menu with Prices – 516 State St, Santa Barbara

I came here last week with some friends to finally check it out and we had an okay experience. It wasn’t too busy when we walked in and grabbed a table right away! We took a chance to look over the menus and then decided on what to order. We followed the signs to the order here area and they took our order. I ordered a restraint beer and a pesto romano pizza. My friend ordered a flight of beers and the mac and cheese pizza. We grabbed our numbers and went back to our table with our beers. We were sitting there for awhile and enjoyed our beers. My other friends showed up and grabbed some more beers. We were all talking for awhile and then my friend got her pizza. We waited for awhile longer and I never got mine. Finally after about 30 minutes I went up to where I ordered to ask them about my pizza. They all looked at each other and then the guy went to the back to grab the manager. I guess they forgot about it so they put a rush on it and competed it.. I had to wait another 15 minutes for my pizza and then I finally got it. After I finally got my pizza, my friend got her ID checked again randomly. She had already had her ID checked and we had already been there for almost two hours. It was really weird that they randomly just checked it again after we had been there for awhile. Overall we had an ok experience here with good beer and good food. I will come back again here soon and I hope to try more of their amazing beers! ?

Campus No. 805 – Menu with Prices – 2620 Clinton Ave W, Huntsville

The primary reason I love Campus 805 is my hair stylist is there – that would be Mason Caldwell at Fringe Salon, which is on the east end of C-805. I like that I can get a Cali roll at Rock and Roll sushi pre-salon/post-salon visit, or R&R will deliver to Fringe. Of the places on Campus, I’ve eaten at Earth and Stone Wood Fired Pizza, Ale’s Kitchen, R&R Sushi, and I’ve been to Yellowhammer, Straight to Ale, and Lone goose. I do like Lone Goose’s dog friendly patio, but it lacks the charm of its former location, IMHO. Vapesouth is now “the Bar” which is really cozy, with a nice patio, and some decent wine selections. it’s an “Entertainment District” so you can walk around with your purple cups and enjoy an adult beverage with city council approved extended hours, now! If I drank craft beer, or any beer, this would be a cool place, for wine drinkers, it’s challenging. The only locations that serve wine are: Lone Goose, The Bar, and Rock and Roll Sushi. Also, pizza, bar fare, and sushi are the only dining options, unless Bubba’s catering offers eats. And, C 805 has been here a few years now – it would be nice to host some food truck rallies or have additional dining options. If craft beer is your jam, you will enjoy Campus 805. And make sure to bring closed toe shoes if you plan to Ax throw.

The Good Fortune Club – Menu with Prices – 25170 I-45, Spring

Went here with 2 other people the bartender Amanda is absolutely rude. Not only is she rude but she didn’t make our drinks right. On top of that we had a customer come push us an tell us that the bartender Amanda couldn’t pour us the shots when she had no idea why we had 3 empty shot glasses in from of us reason being we ordered a drink we were going to pour ourselves into 3 shots an take was utterly uncalled for. She talked to I guess her regulars an ignored us. Will never come back again would love management or owner to contact me to make it right etc. But I highly suggest avoid at all cost especially if Amanda is working.

The Branch Office – Menu with Prices – 2320 Torrance Blvd, Torrance

I’ve been to numerous dive bars and yes, I’ve came across some sour service every now and again. But this place has raised the bar. I like to experience new places and see new faces. I pictured that this would be a cool little spot to grab some drinks and just chill without having people trampling and hovering over your shoulders while you’re sippin’ on your neat vodka or whiskey. So right when my girlfriend and I walked in, we get heads turning and neck breaking. Good Lord, have these people ever seen Asians before? After we shook off the uncomfortable feeling, we approached the center of the bar and this Gothic looking lady looked right at me with a “What in the f*ck do you want” expression. Hey..I may not be cut from the same cloth as this lady but we have one thing in common; I want a drink and she happens to be a drink server so let’s make a connection here. I asked for a Grey Goose on the rocks and she said they don’t have that..then she turns around and looks at all the bottles that are behind her. First of all, how do you not have Grey Goose? Secondly, you’re on yelp advertising that you’re a “FULL” bar in alcohol service. I mean, I’m asking for one of the most known and most popular vodkas out there..not vodka that is found under a crystal rock in Bora, Bora and then filtered, and then mixed with Oprah Winfrey’s salvia. I didn’t want to put up with her witchcraft stare so we left. Maybe I’ll come back after I join a cult or something. Cheers!

Hops and Props – Menu with Prices – 335 2nd Ave NE, St. Petersburg

Stopped into Hops and Props recently with a group of friends. We didn’t know what to expect but we loved it. there was construction in the area so it made it hard to get to but it was well worth the effort. It’s small and very quaint. The main attraction is the beers. They had an excellent selection of about 20 local craft beers on tap. The bartender was knowledgable about all the beers and more than willing to talk about them. If you’re a fan of craft beers and places for to talk to your friends while enjoying the, this is the place.

Hell ‘n Blazes Brewing Company – Menu with Prices – 1002 E New Haven Ave, Melbourne

First of all, this place is located in historic downtown Melbourne, FL. Hell ‘n Blazes Brewing Company operates out of fully renovated 120 year-old former hardware and farm supply store. This family-and-friends microbrewery is known for traditional brews as well as the adventurous spirit that defines craft beer! They consistently pour 12-18 unique house beers and offer a 25-bottle wine list. I met a group of colleagues here and did not know what to expect. It was impressive with plenty of room for everyone. The menu offers tradition pub food like burgers, pizza, brisket, and onion rings. I opted for the smoked brisket grilled cheese, which was out of this world. I love me a grilled cheese every now and then, especially when it is a bit different than the norm. All in all, it was a great evening to catch up with old friends as everyone had something they could enjoy.

CAPs Pizza and Tap House – Menu with Prices – 7628 Pacific Ave, Stockton

Easily would have given them a five star rating for the pizza and beer selection, but the service was lacking with other patrons the day I went. It was off putting for the thought of a future visit if they’re even a little busy. Pizza: $13.65 for a build your own. No extra charges which is pretty damn incredible these days unless you go to the chipotle/subway style pizza joints. The crust was good especially dipped in their ranch. The toppings definitely weren’t skimpy. Solid pizza for the price. Alcohol: They have a good amount of beer on tap and they’re not your typical brews found everywhere else so that is cool. I saw they had Hub from Oregon on tap which is rare here. Sometimes they have extra cans of beers not on tap so feel free to ask! They have a limited selection of liquor such as jack, Jameson, grey goose, and my fave Hennessy. Service: It was slow when we came in. It was basically the employees and a couple of the employees from Pop’s which is next door. One gentleman acknowledged us which turned out to be the one handling the kitchen. We got our order in with the guy tending the bar, which I had also asked about the beers on tap and sampling some. He was helpful in that regard but once other patrons started coming in is where I noticed the lack of service. No acknowledgement of “hello,” “welcome,” “be right with you,” etc. People were grabbing menus themselves which aren’t just out on the tables. A couple even took ours since they weren’t being helped. The party with a reserved table had to keep going to the bar for everything, which if that’s how the place is set up then fine I guess but you’d think with it being slow you’d try to accommodate the party more than they did. MISC: Happy hour is everyday from open to close. What?! One thing they should add is a breakdown on the receipt of what you ordered. I had no idea what each beer cost me and I assumed I was given the happy hour pricing based on what I believed to be the average pricing of those types of beer offered. Anyways, I know that last bit on service seemed bad but thankfully that was my observation and not the service I received. I probably would have left if I was some of the other people. The guy working the kitchen shouldn’t have been the only one I noticed greet anyone. I’ll be back in again based on my own experience.

Poelking Lanes – Menu with Prices – 1403 Wilmington Ave, Dayton

I have visited this location twice and the staff were completely rude both times. I think they all should take a customer service class. When people go to an establishment like this one, we expect to have a fun time and create some memories with friends/family. Itâ??s hard to do that when you have staff members who could care less about their own job, the business itself, and the customers that provide them their paycheck. I will never come back to this establishment or recommend it to anyone I know. Good luck on improving those team members!

The Other Room – Menu with Prices – 3009 Paseo, Oklahoma City

This is the worst experience I’ve had at a bar. My wife and I were married yesterday and decided to come to this establishment to celebrate with three good friends of ours. When we arrived, my wife and friends went to the back patio to have a smoke while I went to the bar to get us our first round of drinks. I asked for 2 pacificos and 3 shots for us all. The young blonde woman behind the bar said “no, you can have 2 beers and no shots, or nothing at all.” I’ve been a bartender for ten years so I’ve cut people off and denied service for every reason out there, so I know how and why it happens. What i didn’t understand is why I was being refused service. But I’m not unreasonable so I asked if she could give me a reason why (maybe she didn’t believe that i had people with me or she thought i was already intoxicated, both valid reasons). I asked why I wasn’t allowed to order our drinks and was told “because I said so.” That’s an awful way to run any business much less a bar. I ended up returning with 3 of our friends to show her I wasn’t planning on drinking all alone. She gave me the same speech again, this time adding, ” or you can leave.” So we left with no drinks and brought our business elsewhere. All I needed was just a reason that I wasnt allowed to spend money at this establishment to celebrate a momentous day with loved ones, and I would have accepted and adjusted. I will not be returning to this place in the future.
