Really nice location, not too close to the middle of downtown which I actually would rather have, a little close to the park but thatâ??s not bad, clean location, friendly employees, everything is super easy to find and if your having a hard time employees will actually help, most of the time Iâ??ve had employees question why Iâ??m taking so long, I like to browse sometimes okay I just turned 21 last year donâ??t hate ð??? But yeah overall 5 star rating because nothing bad has happened

Tim Hortons – Menu with Prices – 40 Peakview Way, Halifax

This Tim’s is close to home so I end up here often. This location has friendly staff, fast service, and is clean inside. It seems strange that the McDonald’s right next door is incapable of consistently putting a burger and fries in a bag without making a mistake, yet this Tim’s has never once messed up my breakfast order. Did Tim Horton’s hire all the best workers in this area and leave McDonald’s with the sloppy seconds? Seems like it. Their company spokesperson is literally a clown, so I shouldn’t be surprised. Yeah, I’m trashing McDonald’s in my review for Tim Horton’s. What of it? I’m still bitter that I can’t give those tools a zero-star rating.

Firehouse Subs Empire Mall – Menu with Prices – 5000 W Empire Pl, Sioux Falls

Just tried to call in an order at 8:30 (they close at 9,) lady said â??We donâ??t actually take to go orders past 8:30.â? I said, â??Iâ??m right across the street.â? She must have thought that allowing me to give her money for the service that she provides is doing me a big favor, because she said, â??Iâ??ll do it this one time but Iâ??ve had like four people not pick up their food-â?? At which point I said, â??Thatâ??s ok, Iâ??m just not going to come in.â? So remember folks, donâ??t go to Firehouse Subs on E. Arrowhead parkway after 8:30, because that last half hour is for the employees, not us lowly customers.

Taqueria Imperial – Menu with Prices – 1351 3rd Ave, Chula Vista

I wanted to give this place the benefit of the doubt. I discovered this place about a year ago with some friends and carne asada fries were amazinf dor the portion and price of just 7.99! Recently, that moved to 8.99 and I thought that’s ok considering the price. A few months passed and today I decided to give it again another try. While I’m waiting over 20 minutes in line I browse through some reviews and loom at the recent reviews and how they are fairly negative. I read that the establishment received a C rating. Ouch, I almost decide to turn away and go to Armando’s but I stay in line. I receive my food and when I get home I’m dissappointed to see almost no cheese or guacamole, but much sour cream, ew. Meat wasn’t cut properly and I had several long strips that I got a cutting knife to make it smaller. Difficult to cut meant difficult to eat and I did. I had to spit out several pieces of meat due to it being too hard or chewy or just fat. Last time I’ll be going here. Other yelpers might be righr, they may have gotten new employees or management, but when quality drops and prices go up, experience shows that it’s a matter of time before it closes. A C rating is barely above closing. Fellow yelpers, save you some trouble and money, go elsewhere.

Radisson Plaza Hotel at Kalamazoo Center – Menu with Prices – 100 W Michigan Ave, Kalamazoo

I was there for a conference, staff was not very helpful. The carpet in the hallway was cut and a trip hazard my foot literally went under the carpet. I came back to that area and they put a sign on the opposite side of the hall not over the cut carpet. The overall hotel was clean, rooms and banquet rooms. The food was good, there is a gift shop, Starbucks and restaurants. There is a banquet server there that refused to get one at our table a vegetarian plate, she said we donâ??t have any you had to order it. I spoke to the supervisor and she said they do have one and will bring one to the table. The server said â??yeah yeah we have one ONLY one!â? In a rude way. The parking structure is a nightmare, very hard to get around confusing, you have to pay at pay stations but they donâ??t work. There is one at the bridge that didnâ??t work the entire time I was there, I told staff everyday and they responded with â??ohâ?, â??they just reprogrammed it this morningâ? and one said they donâ??t know anything about it even though I just saw him checking on it. The last day the one at the bridge didnâ??t work and the one on the first floor didnâ??t work it took my money with no receipt. I told the guy and he said you donâ??t need a receipt you just scan the barcode but for the past 2 days I got a receipt that needs to be scanned. Just seems like the staff isnâ??t trained or they just donâ??t care.

Jerry’s Cafe – Menu with Prices – 2601 N Mulford Rd, Rockford

Food is awesome donâ??t get me wrong, I have been a customer since they opened and I will always be back. But our waiter was AWFUL! I donâ??t know what kind of restaurant would hire such a person. Chris came to our table looking like a street server, he had a snapback hat, his pants were sagging, and wore a chain. Disgusting. Greeted us fair but as he took our order he pulled a chair and SAT DOWN TO TAKE OUR ORDER. What a joke… Throughout the whole time we were there we would see his actions repeated to every table. Sitting while taking other tables orders. He spends a lot of time on his phone and has his back faced towards his tables. Heres where it gets interesting, We asked him if he was new and he replied saying that heâ??s been working with Jerrys Cafe for 8 years and that he is basically the manager at both Jerrys Cafe locations. I donâ??t believe Chris only because I have met the manager and she is a sweetheart! Too bad shes more at the Beloit restaurant now..plus she knows how to run her employees! But Chrisâ??s customer service ethic is horrible. Restaurants with employees like him will go down the drain and it would be upsetting if this amazing restaurant had to close.

B & G Milkyway – Menu with Prices – 2410 W 12th St, Sioux Falls

Parents if you buy your kids slushies please taste them. They have an excessive taste of sugar with a smidge only of the flavor you choose. The sugar is so overwhelming it can’t not be drank more then a few sips. Something is wrong this year in the instructions their employees are advised to pump. I cant not believe this has happened twice now in a row. We will not be buying any more slushies from here this summer as their is truely an issue which didn’t get changed. Sad thing is the owner was there the first time it happened and said it was their issue and they fixed it. Well that’s not true as today’s results were identical to what happened 3 weeks ago. SAD as my daughter has grown up with B&G slushies all her life and the reason we have always gone there.

Aleppo Kitchen – Menu with Prices – 2128 N Glenoaks Blvd #101, Burbank

I usually donâ??t write many reviews, but WOW! If you are in LA, you MUST visit the BURBANK location! Their food is off the charts good! One of the best Iâ??ve ever had in the US. Staff and owners are so kind and nice! Food came out quick and prompt (and we ordered a lot of food)! And most importantly, it was DELICIOUS!! I donâ??t know the owners personally, Iâ??m a normal walk in customer, but honestly, it was worth the 6 hour drive down from the Bay Area just for this place! Again, if you want quality Middle East/Syrian/Lebanese/Mediterranean style food, the BURBANK location is it! Aleppoâ??s Kitchen in Anaheim, CA is a different restaurant with different owners from what I understand. That one is good Iâ??ve tried it, but I honestly feel this place is WAY better and better priced so please donâ??t mistake my review for the Anaheim location, Burbank is where you wanna be! Please donâ??t hesitate to reach out for more information! Happy eating!

Famous Toastery Ayrsley – Menu with Prices – 2127 Ayrsley Town Blvd, Charlotte

Iâ??m used to the Tega cay location, which is wonderful. We were happy that they opened one in Ayrsley since is super close to us. BUT, this morning was our third time at this location and we are not impressed. First, turn the AC on itâ??s so hot inside. We were seated in 5 minutes but it took 8 minutes to someone to even acknowledge we were there and get our drink order, 10 more minutes until our server came and got our food order, 25 minutes later we had our food, it took forever I was about to ask them if they forgot to give our order to the kitchen. And it was not just us, a bunch of other people were waiting for a while for their food. We are so used to the Tega cay location that every server stops by your table and refill your drinks and ask if everything is ok, at this location customer service is just bad, we saw our server twice. And they donâ??t serve the corn bread like the other locations, which would make a difference so you can snack while you wait 30 minutes for your food. The food was good, potatoes were not the best, but for a Sunday that was not even that busy, I would expect a little better service. You know what didnâ??t take 30 minutes to get? The check, that took two seconds â?â???. I donâ??t think we will give another try.

Broken Spoke Tacoma – Beer. Barbers. Bikes. – Menu with Prices – 1014 M.L.K. Jr Way, Tacoma

UPDATE: so as per my 3 star rating. I have adjusted my rating to 5 star. I’ve since visited 2 times since my first visit here. the people have been nothing but accommodating. My $55 gift card which was for a deluxe package was turned into 2 haircuts, since I don’t have a beard to shave. Learned that offer Military Haircuts for $20 The barber Georgette is very nice. Did a great job. Was even able to work with me on the 2nd visit cause I got off work late and showed up 10 min late to my appointment. Got to learn the history of the place which was pretty cool! Highly recommend this place and Georgette! .Let it be known..I have a barber that I already go to weekly. I went here cause a close friend stops in here frequently. So they had purchased a $55 gift certificate here for my birthday. I had not scheduled a haircut with my barber the week I visited, cause I was going to give this place a try. How to say this…I didn’t have the best experience…but I didn’t not, not like this place. I originally wanted to give this a 2 star rating, but with the few mishaps/observations I had they, a few have been corrected, and as I give this place another shot I will reevaluate my review. High points: great vibe, great set up, love the fact that you can chill and have a beer while waiting to get a haircut. The haircut turned out great from the barber I had that day. Low points to my visit: 1. They open at 10 am, I showed up at 11:15-11:20, expecting maybe a wait for a walk in haircut. BUT as I showed up, their barber had not shown up yet. *I do understand that people run behind, it was also the barbers 1st day. The barber showed up a little over two hours after the shop had opened. I had sat for at right about an hour, after sitting at the bar and had purchased a beer. I almost didn’t get a haircut, and was just slightly annoyed cause I needed to find a place to get a haircut that day for work the following day, and my barber was booked.ran into the barber right as I was walking out to leave. He had stopped me, and asked if I was here to get a haircut? I responded “well I was”, and he insisted that I stay and that he was ready to go. So I ended up getting a good haircut. 2. I was not able to redeem my gift certificate. My gift certificate was written on the back of a business card, and the gift certificate can only he redeemed by that person on that person. When asked the person running the bar didn’t know if the person still worked there. *Thankfully the gift certificate was on the back of the business card, and I was able to find the person’s IG and messaged that person. Turned out they still work there, just part time. Also since the person only works there part time, with a limited availability, they transferred my gift certificate to another barber. Thank goodness for that, cause I would have hated to see my friends gift certificate become wasteful. 3. In the one visit alone, i learned both the barber who cut my hair and the barber who the gift certificate was bought for only work there part time. * A key note for me who frequently gets my haircut, I want someone who cuts full time and isn’t working a more than one location. I don’t want to be limited on the day’s I can schedule a haircut. I tend to have a set day and an alternate day each week that I get my haircut, but things do come up and sometimes I need to adjust, but I would like to know that someone will be available. But I have high hopes, and I’m sure that I will readjust this review after my next cut. All and all, I did like my haircut, I like the place. With the few reservations I have, I don’t know if it would be a place I would leave my current barber to come to.

State Theatre of Modesto – Menu with Prices – 1307 J St, Modesto

First of all let me say I LOVE THE STATE THEATER. I go to about 8-12 films, functions and concerts a year. I also bring from 4-10 people with me…We eat, drink and spend money there. But so many times I have had to make MULTIPLE Trips to buy tickets. I can understand if it was close or there were no employees available but just about everytime there’s 3-5 standing around. When I ask if I can purchase tix they say the Box Office is closed and to come back. I recently bought tix for the Led Zeppelin cover band show…(7) of them at $29 a piece but had to go back 3 times to buy them even as the employees were standing there. Do you NOT want to sell tix? Make a profit to stick into refurbishing the theater? Stay afloat without constsnt need for donations? I love and support the arts but this is stupid…Every dollar counts…Make it while it’s there. No reason to turn away customers with CASH IN HAND. Like I said this has happened MULTIPLE times and I know you hire kids but you are not teaching them how REAL BUISNESSES WORK doing this.

Krispy Kreme – Menu with Prices – 4904 S Cleveland Ave, Fort Myers

The donuts have always been hot and excellent , the bagels are also great, and coffee was fine. I would have given it a 5 star rating if I did not experience the poor customer service that I received. There were 2 people in front of me and a line of people behind me and the whole time I waited only 1 person was waiting on customers inside and it seemed like they had plenty of help. I believe they had about 7 people that I could recall at the time that I was there and I just cannot believe that not 1 of those 7 people came over to help that 1 lady out at the customer service counter. As a managers point of view I probably would have taken a video to show all the employees of themselves working so they can see what kind of team work they put into that. It was not that they were not working it was the fact that the customers should have come first and they should have jumped right in to help. Also the cashier that rung my order up was not a happy camper you could tell that he really did not want to be there. He rung my order up and turned around to do something with the coffee machine meanwhile my coffee and donuts were sitting at the register by him and he said â??here you can take itâ?quietly, I could barely hear him and then he slowly gave it to me. I said thank you with a smile and went on my way. Like I said it really was okay just the customer service and working as a team needs some improvement and it is not always like that when I go there but maybe if the employees saw themselves working at that time then maybe it could help to improve themselves, and be better team players.

XL’N On Fifth – Menu with Prices – 2109 E 5th St, Tyler

This is a great place. No food but excellent food within walking distance. I mean it’s a top shelf pool hall with top shelf staff along with top shelf live musica. The only real negative for me although it does not diminish my 5 Star rating because the establishment is not intended to be a Sports Bar. Oh yeah, my point. I wish just a little bit they had sports TVs around the perfect perimeter for it. I seriously believe it would Jack up their Day business but it’s none of my business. 5 as is. Oh yeah, them Kid Icarus kids were awesome tonight as in my black and white. They should be strong candidate for ACL 2019 (That is Snapper Carpenter going behind the back. I accidentally loaded two pics and can’t figure out how to delete one) Then again that may enhance the Kids B&W (I had to throw in one more edit. Not smart enough to comment on someone’s post there’s one on here that’s incorrect. States Hall has 6′ tables. It’s 100% 8×4.
