Not my place to purchase alcoholic beverages but it is a popular place to visit for many Fredericksburg residents in this side of town by observing this place around seven Saturday night it has a good traffic flow of spirits fanatics it is expected because of the large choice of popular brands available for sale. The location of the store is excellent and can be seen from the main road the interior display placements makes browsing for bargains pleasantly easy and inviting for the customers.

Fox Cigar Bar Scottsdale – Menu with Prices – 7443 E 6th Ave, Scottsdale

Fox Cigar Bar is a classy and inviting lounge that will appeal to many cigar enthusiasts but mostly drinkers…which is a shame. As far as cigar lounges go this is a nice one; the atmosphere is large, warm, friendly, and inviting. As soon as you walk through the door you immediately notice the HUGE bar which is the centerpiece of the lounge. This is intriguing for most, but as far as I’m concerned it takes away from the cigar lounge feel and gives the cigars and smoking a backseat to drinking. The rest of the Bar has several TVs and spots to sit inside and out. Sadly with the drinking and old town Scottsdale location comes some of the riffraff crowd and when I was there I felt a bit uncomfortable. The humidor room is decent, but Fox does not have relationship with some of the top cigar brands (like Davidoff for instance), and that’s one of my favorites. I thought it odd that they lacked popular cigars and it causes me to wonder why those brands don’t associate themselves with Fox. The man who helped me pick out some cigars was great; he was knowledgeable, extremely friendly, and didn’t try to sell me. The prices for stogies are very reasonable which is nice, but I don’t know about the alcohol which is probably where they make most of their money. Fox Cigar Bar is a decent spot to relax and enjoy a smoke, but beware of the drinking crowd and know ahead of time that they might not carry some of the finer brands.

Fine Wine & Good Spirits – Menu with Prices – 1761A Columbia Ave, Lancaster

First time purchase for an old person but I had excellent assistance from the staff… Small store at the location I went to so some brands or low sale or unique products were not there. The staff checked at other locations to assist me. I was educated on what one should have for basics in a home party bar. I was clueless. I appreciate the help and I was able to get quality beverages but with reasonable cost based on their experience.

Aesop Harvard Square – Menu with Prices – 49 Brattle St, Cambridge

Aesop has expanded to Harvard Square (there’s another location in Back Bay), and this location is lovely. This used to house the Colonial Drug Store, which was an old school pharmacy. While charming, they weren’t able to stay in business. The interior funnels the old drug store, with the old paint and marks from the shelving still on the walls. The staff here are incredibly patient and helpful. I came in here with a largish group (5+ people) and they were kind and helpful, letting us try many things and helping us with our purchases, while still serving other customers that came into the store. The atmosphere is incredibly relaxing and minimal, and the people working only served to reinforce that, with offers of chilled water and soft voices and so much information about the design of the interior and skincare as a whole. It is a very pricey store, but all Aesops are. I genuinely appreciate how each one moulds itself to the area surrounding, while still holding onto the flair that makes it the store I love.

Neighborhood Market & Deli Mini Market – Menu with Prices – 681 N Monroe St, Stockton

Neighborhood Market was a very very very modestly priced Convenience Store It has definitely out of the norm when it comes to neighborhood stores it offers Supermarket prices Bargains and Deals values are affordable for families who live in a low-income demographic and although it is in a transient infested area it has very good values it has good customer service and they offer credit to the usual customers always a plus overall I recommend going to the store you’ll be safe and you’ll be happy about your prices and your purchases

Ankrolab Brewing Company – Menu with Prices – 3555 Bayshore Dr, Naples

I looked up a brewery in the area and found 3. The first one had either moved or I had the wrong address because I never found it. The second one on the list was Ankrolab. . . It is a huge place where the front part of the building is where they brew their beers. They have a huge indoor sitting area and a large patio outside. My understanding is that they have live music but I guess my visit was too early in the afternoon. . . They have a nice choice of different styles. I did get to try 3 of them and I was absolutely impressed with their â??Grünghost Brut IPAâ?. I am definitely not an IPA lover but this one is deliciously light and has no bitter aftertaste that makes IPA a once in a while drink. . . They also have a wine menu for those not into beer. And although they do not have a kitchen, thereâ??s a food truck outside with different finger foods for sale. . . It seems itâ??s a pretty popular place since it was filling up quickly by the time I was leaving. With great brews nicely priced and their location, I can understand their success and canâ??t wait to go back soon.

J&K Style Grill – Menu with Prices – 880 N Military Hwy, Norfolk

I love J&K. The owner of the business of very approachable and always makes a point to speak to customers. I was excited once I learned about the military circle call location. More access to great food. This location is right down the street from where I work so I can either come for lunch or pick up dinner on the way home. This location has pretty much the same menu as their home location. Except they do not offer the stuff collar wings ! But they offer other really great choices such as the Kenyatta wings which I tried today along with the philly steak egg rolls. I like that while I’m waiting on my food I can do a little shopping or browsing and by the time I return my food is ready to be picked up and eaten lol I always enjoy coming to either location because there is a feeling of “family” which is always great to experience.

Trade Roots, Fair Trade Gift Shop, Coffee House, & Wine Bar Menu with Prices 5852 Washington Blvd, Arlington

Iâ??ve worked in and out of the Westover area for about 10 years. Iâ??ve driven and walked past where this shop is so many times. It was once a record store, then a â??trade rootsâ? shop, but I never bothered to go in because I was always pre-occupied with work. But within the past year or so, I gave myself a break and treated myself to a visit, only to be pleasantly surprised that it included a coffee shop! Browsing the store was my therapy for the day and the atmosphere was so awesome. I was really into everything and felt an excitement about the whole concept of helping others and helping myself to this treat! I remember walking out of there with a new lease on life. I knew I had to go back because it was totally up my alley and I was curious to meet the person who owned such a cool place. Anyway, I finally went back because I hadnâ??t yet tried there coffee. Turns out, they have the BEST coffee in the entire VA/DC/MD area! Who knew? I knew at that moment. Because Iâ??ve tried it all, and Illy used to be my favorite coffee (the Italian Store is literally across the street) but after I tried the espresso at Trade Roots, I was instantly hooked and have never looked back. Trust me. Try the espresso. Get a latte, an americano, you name it. I donâ??t know what it is with theirs, Iâ??ve even tried the $80 a pound Kopi Luwak coffee before and it doesnâ??t compare. (Please Google it lol) So, long story not so short, I make it my duty to go back there each week to not only take a break for myself, but to really make a difference in other peopleâ??s lives, which I believe life is all about. And, if Iâ??m going to drink coffee anyway, I would much rather be in an inviting atmosphere that makes me feel good, slow me down, and know that literally everything in the store is fair trade. Oh, and did I mention the espresso is the best Iâ??ve ever tasted? They have it all, unusual teas, real matcha, Vietnamese coffee, Turkish coffee…

Jittery Joe’s Coffee Menu with Prices 1880 Epps Bridge Pkwy Suite #101, Athens

I come to this location often since many errands take me to the Epps Bridge area and am always impressed with the level of friendliness and efficiency the baristas are able to maintain while making drinks! I have worked as a barista in the past with a drive thru location as well and know how tedious it can be when you are trying to please a constant stream of customers who need their coffee fix! The drinks are always well-made (in my experience anyway) and they don’t bat an eye over any fussy orders. The interior has lots of space and artwork on display of course, and half-off pastries after 4:00pm!

Sweetwaters Coffee & Tea Monroe North – Menu with Prices – 601 Bond Ave NW Suite 101, Grand Rapids

I came to this new coffee shop at 11 on a Thursday and it was pretty empty. However, I assume this is due to a lack of advertising, as I only found out about it while browsing yelp for a coffee shop to go to today. Nevertheless, the service was excellent and the environment was great for studying. There are plenty of small tables for 2 and a large stand up table with about 15 bar stool chairs. The coffee itself was pretty good! I had the French Vietnamese Au Lait – a Vietnamese espresso with sweetened condensed milk. The prices compared well to other coffee shops in the area and are reasonable for the product provided. While I did not order anything, there is a large selection of pastries and even drink options for those who don’t prefer coffee. Parking is limited so plan to park on the road if it’s a busy morning. Overall it was a good experience and I will be back!

Lake Springfield Tavern – Menu with Prices – 1221 Adlai Stevenson Dr, Springfield

All you can eat walleye for $7.50. I have been here a dozen times during the past two years for the Friday night all-you-can-eat-walleye. Service has always been good and the fish served hot right out of the fryer. Your choice of potato and side of salad makes this meal very budget friendly. The menu has something for everyone, but the Friday night all-you-can-eat-walleye truly is one of Springfieldâ??s hidden bargains for $7.50. Adult drink prices are also budget friendly. Donâ??t let the outside of this 55-60 year old brick building scare you.

Gary’s No Frills – Menu with Prices – 7 Base Line Rd E, London

Products: It is a discount grocery store, so they carry very few organic products whether fresh or processed. Since this store is part of the Loblaw’s group, it would be better if they carried more PC products. Stock availability: Sometimes it’s much too low. More than once the fresh meat department has been completely out of a protein. Occasionally there will be no chicken, or no pork. None. This has also happened in the produce department. It’s not acceptable to be completely out of lettuce or parsley. Appearance: They could improve their signage significantly. It frequently happens that there is no indicator of the sale price of the products on the end shelves. Same thing for the large pallets in front of the frozen food section. You have to look so hard for the price tag that it makes one wonder whether they are sticking stuff on a pallet that *isn’t* on sale because they know that people will conclude it’s on sale merely because it’s on the pallet so they’ll buy it even if they don’t know the price. Services: no lotto or wine shop but they have good prices on cut flowers. Loyalty options: you can accumulate PC points here. They recently disallowed Visa cards, no doubt because the PC credit card is MasterCard. They do not price match to other stores. Service: Most times there are fewer than three people in line at a time. The cashiers are reasonably efficient.

Sam’s Meat & Deli Menu with Prices 2300 S Chambers Rd, Aurora

Sam’s Meats is unique in a city filled with gigantic grocery stores and food warehouses! One star for being a great, “mom & pop,” woman owned business that caters to carnivores of all types. One star for the new location, though there really wasn’t anything wrong with the old location. It is brighter, with more windows, better lighting, and has a more upscale interior design. One star for the quality of all the products offered to satisfy all manner of carnivores as well as other treats. Sometimes I stop by just to pick up a pie! One star for the wide selection of land animals and water dwelling creatures to feast on and the sheer number of options available to rub on, dip in, shake over or marinate them. I do love their offerings! But no place is perfect, and my current gripe with Sam’s Meats is that the new place is too big for them manage. It now feels cold and impersonal and they’ve lost the friendly vibe they used to have. They can’t see the whole store hiding behind the meat counters in the back and so they no longer even say hello to their customers. It doesn’t help that they decided to focus on reducing us to numbers. You can no longer just grab something from a case or counter and walk up to the register to check out like at the old place. You can stand right in front of them with your pie or BBQ sauce and you’ll just get ignored! Forget expecting anyone to notice you or offer to help you if you are browsing around. So minus a star for running the new place like the DMV. Don’t forget your number!!
