Horrible. Server had an attitude. We went with our family on a Friday night. Margarita drink was horrible, the pizza my daughter ordered was Under cooked! My husband ordered salad and server tells us they ran out of the dressing he asked for AFTER she serves the salad!! Really? On a FRIDAY night? One of your busiest weeknights?? Doesnâ??t anyone check inventory or allocate ahead of time for the amount of customers you plan on having?? My soup was served lukewarm. When we first sat down I asked for lemon for my drink…. never received it. Then, we ask for dessert. Ask the server what is â??Mexican ice creamâ?. Her answer â??itâ??s regular ice creamâ?. What??? What the heck does that mean?? She was no help at all and didnâ??t care if we were not happy or satisfied with our meal. Will NEVER EVER return there. Especially, since we are blessed to have an incredible abundance of restaurants to choose from!!! Good riddance!!!!

Las cazuelas mexican cuisine – Menu with Prices – 4214 Bishop Ln, Louisville

We came from Michigan to the city for a long weekend. We decided on Mexican food for our Friday night dinner. After looking at the reviews we decided on this place. Although it wasn’t horrible, if you’ve ever been to a good Mexican restaurant then pass on this place. To start, we ordered a nacho as an appetizer. I like shredded cheese, but they used some watered down white cheese sauce for this. Also, I asked if the nacho had onions and the server said “yes”. When the nachos arrived, no onions at all. When he came back, I asked again and he ensured they were on there, which there were none. I finally ordered a side of onions. After the nacho, we ordered dinner, of which I ordered the beef enchiladas. Now mind you, the menu stated “topped with shredded cheese”. Once dinner arrived, the plate was convincingly straight out of the microwave. We heard the “ding” from our seats. The plate was hot as hell and nothing special at ALL on the plate. The enchiladas had no trace of cheese and was a soft shell tortilla rolled with seasoned beef covered with mole sauce. Really no flavor at all! The beans also had a few strands of cheese on it. Further, the wife ordered a side of beans/cheese with her Mexican soup and there was literally a few strands of cheese on hers. Next, I asked for another side of onions and decided not to complain and just write this review. I only ate one enchilada and packed up the others, which sat in the fridge in the hotel room. Finally, when we got the bill, I found that they charged me $.99 for each time I asked for onions…WTH?? We payed, left and both agreed it was some of the blandest Mexican food we’ve ate. We also agreed if we ever came back to the city or lived here that we’d never visit this place again. In the end, to each their own…. Go for it and see for yourselves. Hopefully, they read this a make some adjustments???

Mc Grath’s Fish House – Menu with Prices – 12501 SE 2nd Cir, Vancouver

First, this is a 2 visit review, Our first visit about 2 weeks ago was fantastic! Our server was Jane. She was super fantastic. Very attentive without being intrusive. The food was fantastic, Eddie the chef was wonderful about making the changes I asked for. This first visit was 5 stars. Yesterday, Oct 11, we came back to celebrate my birthday. Sadly this time we had Robert as our server. It was horrible service. He couldn’t remember my drink order, he forgot what I ordered (virgin strawberry margarita), came to back to double check was it was. Came back again asked how I wanted to prepared-blended or cubes. Got the drinks. Other tables that came in after us already had their salads and bread, he had not even taken our order. That finally happened. After quite a long- long wait we got our salad/soup and bread. The other table already had their main course and were halfway thru it.. I had only taken 2 bites my salad when the main dish showed up. Hubby had only had one bite of his chowder. Robert said it was the kitchens fault I complimented the chef, to which Robert replied “I’ve seen better”. Really? Wow what a thing to say. I asked about a certain dessert, had to catch him as he went flying by, and just got a “we’re out” as he kept moving. Had to ask 3 times for a box, he kept forgetting. Got the birthday sundae with the hat, was told to not putt on my head, to just “hold it”. We sat there for what seemed like forever waiting for the check, actually about 15 minutes. He only had 2 other tables and we were all in row. He had no attention to detail, was not at all attentive. Never even put down the little drink napkins. The wait for the salad/ soup was much to long, the food came way to fast. I did complain to the manager but it felt like he just brushed it aside. It was a Friday night about 6 pm. And our section was not that busy. And it cleared out quickly. He couldn’t even handle the 3 tables he had. This was not the birthday celebration we were hoping for. The food was wonderful, the service really put a downer on it. Guess should have sat in the bar where Jane was, but there weren’t any tables and who wants sit at the bar for a birthday celebration? If you get Robert as your server expect poor service. We will be back, just not right away, and no Robert.

Taqueria y Antojitos Ricos – Menu with Prices – 714 Military Road #281, Brownsville

We have been loyal customers for many years. I have always spoken highly about this taqueria but today I had a very upsetting experience where I was brought a warm Mexican Coke (as if it was outside), I was provided with a cup of ice but the flavor was not good. I asked for a regular coke but from their cooler and they brought it. After we ate I was ready to pay the bill but noticed they did not remove the “warm” Mexican coke. I asked why and the server said the manager said no because I should have refused it upon delivery (I was nice enough to try and drink it with ice and you tell me tough luck? Mind you the bottle came open anyways.) I told the server to tell the manager that is this little insignificant matter worth my loyal business? Sure, the coke is not much but it’s the principle of the matter. She just apologized and said that the manager said no and he is not available. She also told me next time I…..but before she could finish the sentence I told her “there won’t be a next time.” Therefore, today was the last time I will ever go back. How sad that customer service could not be rendered. I guess our regular bill of $60 is nothing to them.

El Melvin Cocina Mexicana – Menu with Prices – 1355 Main St, Sarasota

Went for drinks with friends to check the place out on Friday, we did not eat the food but I do intend to come back and at the very least try the food and update this review then. I am told by the group Margaritas were “meh”. I checked out the menu and saw Salsa was $5, which we thought was strange assuming we’d been at Two Señoritas so many times before where as in most Mexican places these items are usually free. For a Friday night music was pretty bad. An acoustic guitar guy playing Neil Young tunes and Mustang Sally was a strange choice for prime time Downtown. The decor, the music and what I saw on the menu seemed rather dull for all the hype about this place. We had to cut our night short because a very strong sewage smell started to manifest where we were seating by the bar and it got worse and worse until we notified the server and maybe the manager(?), asked for the check and left. Service was good, server was friendly and prompt. I get Two Señoritas was not the paragon of Mexican food, nor authentic or particularly hip, but it was a bit of an institution. I felt the move to replace it with another Mexican concept was a bold move but I am not sure the execution matches, or surpasses the prior spot. Again, I’ll try the food and revise the review accordingly – but on drinks, ambience and music – we felt EL Melvin left a lot to be desired. What’s up with that name anyway. What/who is “The Melvin”?

Flagler Village Brewery – Menu with Prices – 551 N Federal Hwy, Fort Lauderdale

I have been here multiple times but after tonight I am regretfully writing this review as I feel that the experience my party received was insulting and inexcusable. I arrived at brass tap tonight (Sun. 02/24) around 8:30pm with my s/o and informed the server that we would be having a larger group but I wasn’t sure how many. The restaurant was almost completely empty and she said it would be no issue. It ended up being 8 of us (all currently in or previously in the restaurant industry) showing up to congregate for a very solemn occasion. We wanted a quiet, laid back environment to grab some food and drinks in. We were SORELY disappointed. It took our server 15 minutes to even grab a drink order from us. ANOTHER 10-15 minutes for our drinks to even start arriving at the table. We literally watched the server through the window texting away on her cellphone as we waited for our drinks. When she arrived with the drinks we asked if we could order food. At this point i had already realized our service would be very slow (even though the place was empty) and I decided to order a second drink with my food even though I had just received my first. I’m glad I did that because not once throughout the meal did the server ask ANYONE if they would like a refill. My food arrived (I ordered the super wrap or whatever it’s called) but I was brought the super salad instead. I informed the server that this was not what I had ordered and she promised to fix the issue. About 7 minutes later she returned with my wrap. Upon examination (before taking a single bite) I realized that there was no chicken in this wrap. I told the server that I was sorry to be a pain but the wrap seems to be the exact same salad just rolled into a tortilla when the wrap listed on the menu comes with chicken. She told me it was a NEW salad but they just didn’t add chicken…. (why was no chicken added??? It’s listed SPECIFICALLY on the menu as a part of that wrap!) at this point I just asked her to take the food back and remove it from the bill. I shouldn’t have to send food back twice. It’s embarrassing for BOTH of us. The manager came over asking if she could get me anything else and I declined. I was already disappointed and had no interest in eating anymore. She insisted on buying me a drink which was very kind and at that point I decided that I would not be posting on yelp about this experience due to the manager trying to remedy the situation. That changed quickly. The food was terrible for everyone who received it “correctly”. Brussels sprouts had no bacon and were dripping grease. The ahi Niçoise salad came with no dressing, looking an absolute mess. What were described as crispy sweet potatoes on the salad were just freezer burned sweet potato fries. The chicken tenders were somehow so over cooked that they were HARD all the way through. Not once did she return to ask how the food was. My friend asked the server for a water and several others followed suit. The server returned with water for everyone EXCEPT the one who originally asked to begin with then ran off before we could even point it out. We ended up sharing waters. When it was time to cash out the server cashed ONE PERSON out then went M.I.A. for another 15 minutes. Someone from our party had to go find her to ask her if we could cash out. She comes and cashes everyone out EXCEPT the girl who actually went in and asked her! After returning with change she tried to leave and I actually had to ask if she planned or cash my friend out or if we should just leave. For such a slow, empty restaurant these issues were RIDICULOUS. Our drink tabs would have been at least double but most people didn’t have a chance to order more than one drink since she never asked for refills. We are also very generous tippers but she ruined that opportunity. Being in the service industry we give good service and expect it in return. We did NOT receive that tonight and there was NO excuse for how absolutely horrible it was. I usually

Yen Sushi & Sake Bar – Menu with Prices – 17037 N 43rd Ave #A3, Glendale

Mediocre overpriced sushi, overpriced menu and under par customer service. I visited Yen for lunch the other day with my mother. Upon entering the (dark) restaurant, the server yelled from the POS system asking if we had two people. Like what???? Why didn’t you greet us first? No hello nothing. Jesus! Anyway- There was plenty of open seating and she sat us in a dark corner(really??).. I asked to sit at a different table and it was no problem. She gave us the menus, asked for our drink orders and left. No explanation of any lunch specials (which is why we went by the way) or any recommendations.. after we ordered I realized why she wasn’t very customer service oriented.. she was chilling behind the pos desk on her phone- she didn’t really want to be there, let’s be real. So fast forward to when the food arrived– my mom ordered her food first BTW. I received my food first and shared with my mom because hers didn’t arrive for like 10 minutes. Then I realized I still hadn’t received the cucumber salad I ordered. So I waited a few minutes for the server to glance in my direction and of course she didn’t so I walked up to the station (interrupted her text convo. or Ig scroll) and asked if she could please remember to put in the salad I ordered. She apologized which was nice but it still was underwhelming. The tab was pretty high for lunch specials and to top it off, both mine and my mother had upset stomachs that evening. Don’t waste your time- or just go and see for yourself. ?

Shell Shack – Menu with Prices – 1855 Dallas Pkwy #100, Plano

We went there for dinner last night and received some of the worst service I’ve experienced. Our server was in training and didn’t know enough to answer our general questions. The person that was supposed to be training or helping her seemed to be too busy with bar guests ( there was a bartender) to help our table or server. Our server was very sweet but forgetful as we asked for several items multiple times before her trainer finally brought them out. The food okay except for the fries that came out stale and cold with minimal seasoning and the crab that had clearly been cooked more than once (Shell was extremely soft). I asked if it was possible to switch the fries for another side or what can be done since they weren’t good and I was told the only thing that could be done was that I could have additional seasoning. Our server left without saying anything, and her trainer never introduced himself as her trainer nor told us she was leaving. We sat unattended after her departure for about 20 minutes. I also made sure to ask our server twice about the shrimp and how they’re served. She assured me that they are deveined , but as we are eating our leftovers today 8/27 at 9 pm , I am finding our shrimp to be dirty and none of the shrimp were deveined. This was our first time here.

Bella Italia West – Menu with Prices – 5139 Camp Bowie Blvd, Fort Worth

Horrible. I ordered some chicken dish at the server’s suggestion, because I originally ordered the filet but when I said I wanted it cooked medium he shook his head and told me he “cant allow that.” lol whatever. if I want to pay for the meat, I should be allowed to order it cooked however the hell I want. But, whatever. I already disliked the rude, pompous server, and I just wanted to order, eat, and get out of there. So I get the chicken. I literally laughed In disbelief when it was set in front of me. I received literally less than 2 ounces of flattened chicken, plus a 1.5×1.5 square (and that’s being generous) of what seemed to be an instant risotto packaged food, think Lipton brand. The house salad was literally drenched in dressing, which I think was intentional, to hide the fact that the entire salad was brown and wilted. The bread was hard as a rock and not tasteful. All in all, it was a horrible experience. We will never be back. We typically go to the Reata, but we wanted to try this place again since we had a decent experience here years ago. Oh and PS. apparently they have their own garden, which is great! except it’s located on the median by the road, with car exhaust fumes billowing around. How can this be up to code?

First Watch – 94 Hundred Shea – Now Open! – Menu with Prices – 9325 E Shea Blvd, Scottsdale

Thought I would come in to support the new restaurant, I sat at the bar alone (no one else was at the bar), I ordered a salad without dressing and the server brings out the wrong salad with dressing on the side, then when she brings me the right salad, she brings it with the dressing on the salad, for the kicker.. when she finally bring the right salad with the dressing on the side I asked for a box and started to pack to go and under the first part was the original salad with the dressing on haha right how embarrassing to know their staff would do this, so the linemen used the same salad. When asked for a manager that girl goes over to my server and tells her first then goes to the manager’s area which is so unprofessional then the linemen all are staring at me when the manager does arrive. I said look at your staff right now, he apologized I asked if I could pay for my drink and I wanted to leave he said he would remake my salad, but at this point does anyone trust that the staff would not do anything to your food, you would hope that wouldn’t happened especially in Scottsdale. When I went into my hair salon after I told them what happened and the girls said they have ordered there twice and there food has been wrong every time and when they went to pick up the correct order the staff was rude. I will not be coming back to this location and I will be telling everyone I know and also writing on yelp. I’ve worked in the restaurant industry and what is sad to remake a salad does not come out of the linemen’s paycheck so why couldn’t they just have done it right in the first place. To my server, if you can’t remember one order please use an ordering pad, it was not busy and I was a party of one! When the staff looks at you like it was my fault when it clearly was the incompetent SERVER who was at fault.

Red Robin Gourmet Burgers and Brews – Menu with Prices – 27001 US Hwy 19 N #1130, Clearwater

I ordered the Royal burger with lettuce wrap and substituted the fries with a salad. They brought my salad out with the burger. Come on Red Robin, salads come out before the hot food. I should have asked my server to be sure and bring first but I forgot. I used to be a server. At my restaurant we were trained to ask in this situation if they want their salad before the entree. So I asked them to take my burger back to the kitchen until I finished my salad.

Loony Bin Comedy Club – Menu with Prices – 215 St Francis, Wichita

I am so disappointed about how I was treated and will never be returning. The night started off fun and the comedians were great. At the end of the night, our server decided she could treat us however she wanted (I’m assuming because gratuity was already added to our checks — she didn’t care about being nice anymore). I was with a group of 8 people, three couples and two others. Our server did not keep track of what we order throughout the night, and thought it was acceptable to simply split the bill in three. When we received our checks, there was about 10 minutes of the show left, so we asked her if we could wait until the end to figure them out and make them right. For some reason, this really made our server mad. Her whole attitude with us changed. At the end of the show, she brought security over with her and asked us, “So how do you want to do this then?” Correctly… I want to do it correctly. After her rudely going through every item we ordered and somewhat fixing our bills, we paid and decided it was time to leave. I had already left the performance area and was finishing a drink out front when she come up to me and held a receipt in my face. She then said she was missing a signed receipt and pointed at me telling me she was missing mine. I paid with cash, so no I did not have a signed credit card receipt. This behavior by a server is unacceptable when people are paying to be somewhere. The comedians were great, but I will never be returning if this is how people are allowed to be treated.

The Old Pub – Menu with Prices – 420 S 11th St, Lincoln

I love The Old Pub! It has a ton of regulars of all ages and professions that give it a neighborhood bar feel. The bar is a long bar that seats 15-18 people. There are 5 or 6 tall top tables that seat 4 comfortably with additional seating of regular tables as well. There are 6 tv’s generally showing varous sporting events and internet radio music as well as a jukebox. Drink prices are super cheap especially for a downtown bar. They are known for their Bloody Mary’s with mix that is made in house. A favorite of Husker tailgaters! Tuesday and Friday nights are busy nights and a lot of fun to hang out and drink with anyone you happen to sit by. The bar is open 7 days a week at noon. Happy hour is 3-7 Monday through Friday and they have $2.50 domestics and wells. After 7 each night has it’s own drink special. Friday night the owner provides some sort of food around 5 that’s free. During football season home game days there is also food for tailgaters. The bar is probably the cleanest bar I have ever been in. It is obvious the owner cares about the bar and it’s business.
