I had read about this place so i was anxious to check it out. I finally did last night…was kinda disappointed. I was given a beer menu that was January’s….then another one for February. Im guessing the beers keep changing because they didnt have the one I picked for January’s menu. Had a young girl that wasnt too helpful in helping me in picking the beers. I asked her what i mostly drank and wanted to see was similar to my choices…she had no answer. She wasnt rude, but not helpful… When I walked in I noticed that the place was too lit. Thought it was bar not a Barnes n Nobles. The crowd seemed pretty chill and the music playing had variety which was a plus. Not a bad place but was expecting a lottle more.

Black Forest Brewing Company – Menu with Prices – 11590 Black Forest Rd #50, Colorado Springs

The only thing i liked about this brewery was the drive there. I was impressed when I first got there. I like the set up of the facility with the games……BUT!!! which is a HUGE BUT! Most of the beers i tried were good until i noticed they weren’t a true brewery! THEY WERE ADDING FLAVORED SYRUP TO THE BEERS!!!!! I was shocked and it really ruined anything good about this place. THEN! when me and my friends were the last few people there before they were closing the owner was very rude and harsh with wanting us to leave. I’ve seen you reply’s back to some people writing reviews that were just being honest about the slow service, but i hope you actually take this into consideration of how you move forward with your facility. I wont be coming back and hope this was helpful to others.

Mad Swede Brewing Company Menu with Prices 2772 S Cole Rd #140, Boise

Wow. I could not believe how rude everyone here was. First, the bartender snapped at my friends to order at the side of the bar when we walked in. Then when we got a table (which took a bit to obtain as the place was packed), a guy came up to us and our full beers and asked if we were playing trivia. We said no, because we had to go to the airport soon. He asked how soon and we said about ten minutes. He asked if we could give up the table bc someone else wanted it, and we told him they could have it soon since we’d be leaving shortly. A few minutes later, he was harassing is to leave again, before any of us had even finished our beers. He also asked a group of six guys not to move from their tiny two person table into a larger table that they’d claimed first bc he wanted his trivia groupies to sit there. They said, “We’re playing trivia too!” Not sure why he was so rude and concerned about free trivia players more than other people spending money, but as we stood up to leave our beers he was shuffling women into our seats and didn’t bother to say thanks for leaving early without finishing your beers. Two stars bc the beer was good. Zero stars for costumer service and inadequate seating.

The Social Lounge – Menu with Prices – 59 Cuna St, St. Augustine

This bar is just AWESOME! BF and I were looking for a bar to watch the World Cup game and take refuge from the hot summer heat. We walked by and thought why not? Upon entering, this bar is tiny. We thought no way we will find a seat as it was packed wall to wall. But the bar vibe was so energizing and friendly, the patrons all moved to make space for us. It was just a fun afternoon together. We wanted beer and it was so refreshing to see a variety of craft beers from all over Florida. Coming from Miami, we are just fatigued by the typical local offerings. The bar owner was so friendly that he even comped us a beer. If I lived in St. Augustine, this would definitely be my go to bar.

Rochester Brewing and Roasting Company – Menu with Prices – 2129 Washington St, Kansas City

Coffee shop in the morning, and brewery in the afternoon, novel concept that works out great. On a recent family outing to downtown we stopped into Rochester Brewing since Boulevard was already packed due to bingo and boy am I glad we did. My wife goes here almost daily for coffee since she works around the corner, and has been raving to me about how cool it was. Space: I guess you could say it is the typical “hipster” coffee house/taproom vibe with lots of exposed brick and floor to ceiling front windows. The place is absolutely MASSIVE, like I’m pretty sure they will start using one area as an event space it was so big. They had a nice kids corner set up with some toys and games to keep the little ones occupied as you enjoyed a coffee or beer. Drinks: I sampled some of their variations of cold brew, which were delicious, and then proceeded to move onto trying their beer. The beer was really tasty, they had a great variety of styles to choose from, including a coffee beer (duh, its a coffee shop). They definitely made a good showing of their first round of beers and I can’t wait to see what they plan to brew in the future. Staff: The staff was very helpful and knowledgeable about all the drinks they sold. They were able to answer all the questions I had about the beers and helped me choose the ones that they thought I would enjoy the most. Overall, this is a really cool place that any coffee or beer lover should put on their short list to check out.

Belle Cheveux Blow Dry Lounge – Menu with Prices – 17819 Chenal Pkwy C-128, Little Rock

This is Suzi Barnes but for some reason itâ??s showing me as awesome Abbey Barnes (my 10 year old) ð??? My daughters and I have been going to Belle Cheveux since it opened and I canâ??t say enough good things! The owner Laura is so sweet and friendly. She goes out of her way to make sure all clients are relaxed and enjoying their experience at her salon. I go regularly for blowouts and even great braids. I think Iâ??ve now gone to all stylists there and always leave with great hair! My teenager has gone to get beautiful styles for high school proms, formals and senior pics. She also gets her hair cuts at Belle. My little one loves to go and get curls or braids for special occasions such as cotillion and even for a very creative look for a costume contest. Great service, great atmosphere, great salon!

LoDa Bier Garten – Menu with Prices – 7899 Cottage Hill Rd, Mobile

Solid 5 for beer selections here. Good variety and lots I’ve never tried. Since it was half priced bottles/cans Tuesday, I could get way out of my comfort zone. Tried two really great Canadian Dubbels. Unfortunately, that’s where the accolades stopped. First, the server was nice and friendly, but also not helpful and prone to disappear for long periods. First, asked for a cold pint glass with our beers and her response was “not sure we have those”. Made me wonder what they were serving the 60+ drafts in…One person was drinking tea and it literally took over 15 minutes to get the tea. Actually had to track down another server and ask for the tea. Her performance was similar on getting the second round of beers and with the food delivery. Didn’t do anything but make the experience less than stellar. We did order food. Unfortunately. First was the Pig on a Stick. First, the portion was lacking. 3 2″ pieces of sausage for $10. That alone was concerning. Looked good, and then I took a bite…so overcooked that all I tasted was a greasy, crunchy mess. The concept was good…bacon wrapped Conecuh sausage dipped and deep fried. The execution was terrible. Shared with the table and between 5 people we didn’t finish them. Ordered a salad since I wasn’t really hungry. Essentially paid $11 for a house salad. No protein. Just greens, veggies, fruit, dressing. And it was small. That feeling of being ripped off was really starting to sting. So overall, not something I’d pursue unless you are wanting to do anything other than drink. While limited to what I consumed, those dining with me reported similar discouraging takes on their food. But please do drink the beer!

Crab Shack on the James – Menu with Prices – 7601 River Rd, Newport News

My sister and I were planning to have our nieceâ??s bridal shower here, but Nicki, a manager, was incredibly dismissive and rude and would/could not answer questions such as â??What kind of wines do you serve?â? so we changed the venue (the invitations had already been sent.) She said weâ??d be charged a $10 per person seating fee on top of the food and drink, that we could use a serving tray stand for the gifts and while we could bring in cupcakes, we could not have a table for them and weâ??d have to provide our own plates and napkins. Really?! Clearly Nicki did not want our business, which she will never have again. So disappointing!. From Nickiâ??s sister, Leah Hionis, who is also a manager:. Thank you for the FALSE review. Have a great day.. My response:. Leah L Hionis: This is most certainly NOT a false review. Your sister, Nicki, either could not or would not answer my questions, was rude and abrupt, told me I was being difficult and then passed me off to Taylor, a lovely young woman who was incredibly professional and helpful. When my sister met with Nicki, she never made eye contact nor did she stand up to greet her. Nicki told my sister that the food we wanted to serve would not be ready when we arrived, as Taylor told me, but would be started only when our guests arrived. I could continue, but Iâ??m sure you get the picture. My sister and I have never dealt with anyone in business so, rude, condescending and dismissive. Frankly, Iâ??m surprised that the restaurant remains open considering this is how you treat your customers.

Hamilton Liquors – Menu with Prices – 5205 Georgia Ave NW, Washington

Hamilton Liquors definitely needs to be everyone’s go to liquor store in the DMV! They have a huge selection of all beers, wines, and spirits, especially certain whiskeys and champagnes that I haven’t been able to find at other liquor/ABC stores in the area. The best part, the prices are very competitive, and in some cases, less than what I’ve seen at other places. The staff is very helpful, they are always ready to answer questions, make recommendations or even let you know of the latest stuff they got in, and they get new stuff frequently. Overall, a must go to for all your liquor needs!

Zack?s Brewing Company – Menu with Prices – 712 Fulton St, Fresno

We heard about Zack’s Brewing on the Perfect Pour Podcast so we decided to check it out. The Brewery, the owners and the beer are all amazing!! The brewery is very comfortable and spacious. Kids and dogs are welcome. From the minute we walked in we were greeted by the sweetest Security Guard of all time!! Then, ordering was a relaxed, no rushed feeling. Owners Mr. And Mrs. Zack were incredibly friendly and helpful to point out beers that you might want to try. We had a flight of 4 beers and every one of them was delicious and flavorful. The IPA’s were spot on and there was a nice variety of beers we’d never heard of or tried before. My fave was Mr. Tumnus, a goat cheese brown ale. But everything we tried tasted unique and amazing. We were lucky enough to try their special beer Chocotaso, a chocolate coffee stout, like a rich desert in a beer glass. For Hazy fans, my husband really liked, It’s ok, Juicy. And for Sour beer lovers, Can Haz Razz, was refreshingly light and very tasty. Needless, to say, we loved everything about Zack’s and left with quite a few of their 8$ 16oz. Crowlers to take and share with fellow beer enthusiasts. We truly had such a memorable, fun evening. Honestly, a gem brewery in Fresno. We can’t wait til the next time we come through Fresno to visit again!!

The Fudgery – Menu with Prices – 4th Street Live!, 416 S 4th St, Louisville

I have been there about 3 times within the month each time I have gone there, there is a dark skinned man with dreads in there. He is extremely unfriendly. 1st time he seemed very mad I even walked in the store and did not even speak to me or my friend that was with me. He was very rude. The second time he stood back and just let the other 2 girls work while there was a line. He did not greet one guest as they walked in. The 3rd time which was today he was standing in front of the doors with his hands on his hips and just starred at me as walked in , he did not say one word to me. I walked over to the ice cream area where a very nice girl was working and doing dishes and greeted me once she saw me. The guy did not ask if I needed help with anything at all. When I left he was standing to the left of the doors smoking. He is very unprofessional and very rude. Your ice cream and everyone else is great expect him. Which is why I at least gave two stars but knocked off three for each occurrence I have had with him and each time he was very rude.
