Ubatuba Acai, is nice, clean, spacious place, with a very nice ambient music, mixing Brazilian songs (even play “PARALAMAS DO SUCESSO AND KID ABELHA kkkk …) and international songs. There is nowhere to park on the street, but next to the property there is a public parking lot, and the best is COVERED. Lets go to what matters. The acai berry is good, not too sweet, the granola is different but it is acceptable. I ordered a large bowl, the amount is reasonable, the only negative thing is the price ($ 14), more expensive than the other places I’ve been. I also ordered an empanada which they call “cheese tomato”, HORRIBLE, hot on the outside and cold on the inside. I can’t quite say what I felt, I just know it had no taste of cheese empanada with tomato. Never more. Now one of the most important points, the service. I don’t particularly care much when the service is mediocre, and here it is. The person who attended me has a very cold face, has not charisma, looks like a robot, could open a little more the face, the owner can hire who wants, but runs the risk of losing customers. I think he is here for being, I felt he was bothered, whether it was me or not, worth me … For those who want to come here to take only the bowl of acai without caring for care, okay. I do not say that I recommend or would not come because of the service. I just think if I want an acai, maybe I would look for this establishment. I believe the owner is not a native brazilian, if it would not let his business run that way.

Acai Republic – Menu with Prices – 7862 Warner Ave Suite 107, Huntington Beach

Acai Republic is my favorite go to acai spot and I’ve eaten at almost all the places I can find including the more popular Blue Bowl. I eat this at least once a weekend and always at Brazilian jiu jitsu tournaments. The acai here is the highest quality in terms of taste that I’ve had, the tartness and level of sweetness is great. The consistency is also really good. Just make sure you eat it as soon as possible because acai melts rather quickly. The price for the proportion is appropriate. Most places overcharge for the amount they give. What’s special about açaí republic is that their acai base is a blend of other fruits whereas most places only use acai. My favorite on the menu is the São Paulo with peanut butter on top. The only con I have is that I feel that one or two workers may be less experienced probably because they are new since once or twice I’ve gotten my acai blended with peanut butter (do not recommend this) or not enough peanut butter was added. However, when I have the Brazilian servers my acai comes out perfect.

Main Squeeze Juice Co. – Menu with Prices – 3660 Veterans Blvd Suite C, Metairie

Coming from the East Coast of Florida, I’m used to an abundance of healthy juice shops with tasty açaí bowls. Proper bowls are one of the main things I miss since shops in Nola can’t seem to get them quite right. I saw Main Squeeze on IG and decided to stop by to grab a bowl for breakfast. The store was clean, looked and smelled great, but I didn’t care for my bowl. They have a few bowl options here (açaí and pitaya), but only one includes nut butter, a must in my book. The downside to that Açaí Nut Bowl is that it lacks toppings. Where most bowls come with multiple fruits on top, it only includes banana. The standard Açaí Nut Bowl is $9.99 and is made with Açaí, Almond Milk, Banana, Almond Butter, Honey, Granola & Chia Seeds. They’ll charge you an extra $1 per additional fruit toppings. It’s also important to note they blend the nut butter and honey into the açaí, which makes it sweeter than other recipes, and the bowl is served in a large dinner-sized bowl instead of a small tub. I had an issue where they forgot the granola topping and added an extra tip onto my order; however, customer service was great and reached out to make it right.

South Block Menu with Prices 4150 Wilson Blvd Unit 172, Arlington

Overall, it’s expensive, but it’s one of the only specialized acai/smoothie shops in the area so it’s popularity is not surprising. So far I’ve tried the PBJ acai bowl, health nut smoothie, and mermaid bowl, and the mermaid bowl was the only one I didn’t particularly like. I’ve never had it as a full meal, but it’s a nice afternoon snack to share with a buddy. PBJ ACAI BOWL ($10) This was the first time I tried an acai bowl with peanut butter, and I was very impressed!! It’s very thick and the peanut butter is strong, but with the granola and fruit it’s a very cool and refreshing treat. HEALTH NUT (Regular $8/Large $10) I had a salad for lunch and felt like I needed a little something more, so I decided to get this smoothie since it had almonds in it. It was VERY filling and helped me power through an afternoon study session! I wasn’t even that hungry for dinner, but being the animal that I am I still ate a normal dinner portion. I would definitely recommend this as breakfast or with a light lunch. MERMAID BOWL ($11) This one just tasted.. off. Or too sour. I think it was from the pineapple juice/too fruity but if you like that then this is for you I guess. The granola/coconut helped, but while this was one of the most aesthetically/Instagram worthy bowls it’s definitely not something I’d get again.

Acai Masters – Menu with Prices – 12980 SW 89th Ave, Miami

I was at the falls mall and looked up Acai bowls near me. As I drove around in circles I finally called and the person over the phone told me it was inside of Fight Sports. As soon as you walk in the heat that hits you is immediate. Like BAM. I walked up to the oddly placed counter and ordered a bowl. It was taken out of the freezer already in its bowl… I was so confused, I asked if the açaí was frozen, the girl said yeah just give it a few minutes. The açaí was like a rock! What a disappointment. I expected more from a place that call themselves “açaí masters”. The fruit and whatnot seemed like it’d been there for a while.

IV Juice Bar – Menu with Prices – 8057 Vineyard Ave, Rancho Cucamonga

Acai has become my new favorite and I love this little place! It’s cute and cozy with just 3-4 tables good music and yummy acai bowls! I’ve been 3x so far and I get the same warm welcome and staff is always helpful. They are very reasonably priced a small bowl is $7 medium is $9 and I’m not sure about the large because I haven’t got that size yet. What I love is that you pay for the bowl and can get whatever you want inside for no additional cost! I think that’s awesome considering that I’ve been to places that give you a few toppings and everything else is an additional cost so that’s a plus. I just wish they had more fruit options. The times I’ve gone they just have strawberries, blueberries, bananas, and very little watermelon. However the variety of super foods like coconut, pumpkin seeds, hemp granola ect make up for the limited fruit. Plus my go to fruit is strawberry and banana which they always have so no complaints. It would just be nice to have the option of mango or kiwi and other fruits if I wanted to try something new. Overall the acai taste amazing I went two days in a row after trying it my first time because I was hooked!! I definately recommend you won’t be disappointed! This is my new spot for acai goodness!

Fruit Splash Menu with Prices 3016 W Lincoln Ave, Anaheim

My favorite acai place ever–and I’ve tried a shit ton of acai. My best friend and I will literally go out of our way (Irvine to Anaheim) just for Fruit Splash. We’ve developed a great relationship with the owner, Mo. He is so friendly and would surprise us with free snacks! He also remembers our orders by heart:) The menu changed a bit, so my friend and I were lucky enough to try the old acai bases, but everything Fruit Splash has now is still super tasty. Acai blend: * no added sugar, all natural (says Mo) * tastes healthy * great consistency — in between smoothie and sorbet To get a better understanding, let me compare Fruit Splash’s acai to some others: If you’ve tried Blue Bowl, Berry Brand, or Earth Bowl Superfoods, you may have noticed that they share the same acai brand. Their acai is usually harder to scoop (sometimes even frozen) and much sweeter–you can taste the added sugars. Uba tuba has a very unique acai blend, but theirs flops from bland in taste to too sweet. Natura Bowls and Amen Acai (which is less than a mile away from Fruit Splash) have a similar blend in taste and consistency. Pitaya blend: * pitaya is typically pretty sweet (even without sugar), but the blend is not over-the-top * consistency is just like acai Granola: * super smart to put the granola at the bottom so that it 1) doesn’t spill all over the place 2) doesn’t get soggy and 2) is eaten throughout your bowl rather than finished first * not sure what type of granola it is, but it’s crunchy and yummy! Toppings: * “wet” toppings aren’t included in the menu/list, but my friend and I will get Nutella/pb/honey for free * you can’t choose your toppings, but if there’s a certain one you don’t like, you can easily substitute it for something else * you can always add more toppings (there are a good amount of dry ones like coconut shreds, cacao nuts, goji berries, etc.) * the acai to topping ratio is perfect! Price: SUPER cheap/reasonable for the size! In short, the acai is healthy, toppings are fresh and the amount is great, the size is filling, and the price is so affordable! Smoothies: So far, I’ve only tried the pitaya/dragon fruit smoothie, and it’s so yummy!! I’m not a sweet tooth, but surprisingly, I loved it. Mo also topped our drinks off with fruit slices (upon request)! My experience with this one drink already makes me confident in the quality of the other options/flavors. Fruit toast: This was one of the snacks Mo surprised us with! My friend had banana+peanut butter and I had cream cheese+strawberry. I didn’t even know I was craving it, but that first bite definitely hit the spot. There’s so much more on the menu I need to try, but I know nothing here at Fruit Splash will disappoint.

Tasty Lemon Acai Bowl & Juice Bar – Menu with Prices – 3831 W Vine St, Kissimmee

THE WORST Acai bowl I have ever tried in my life! Please guys, save your money and gas. I never write bad reviews but this one really needed to be shared. When I was placing my order she kept rolling her eyes when I asked her what was inside the Acai paste (banana, sweetener, etc.) she proceeded to tell me that they don’t know because they don’t make it? Lol. Then I taste it and it was the most bitter and absolute disgusting flavor ever. When I confront them about the issue, she proceeds to tell me that a bunch of Brazilians go there and love it? What does that have to do with anything? Are you saying only Brazilians can approve? Lol. She later told me they can’t give me anything to replace it because then they have to throw it away. WOW TALK ABOUT CUSTOMER SERVICE. I’ve been having Acai bowls for many years now and have never experienced such a horrible flavor, I worked at the most popular Acai bowl place in Miami so I think I would know freshly made Acai bowls when I see one. What a disappointment in taste, in both the employee and the flavor.

Pacific Fruit Bar – Menu with Prices – 1037 Broadway, Chula Vista

I come here all the time as it is minutes away from my work. I always get the açaí bowl, no mangoes with added peanut butter. The lady and her daughter are extremely nice and are always very helpful. Their bowls are delicious and there are many other things on the menu that I might one day try, when I’m over these açaí bowls. Their prices are also much less expensive than other açaí spots, which I also appreciate. I’m a regular here and will be definitely coming back repeatedly. 4 stars very much deserved!

3 Natives Boca Del Mar Menu with Prices 7166 Beracasa Way, Boca Raton

Cute little cafe serving healthy fare including smoothies, açaí bowls, sandwiches, and salads. I had no idea 3 Natives was a chain and this location was “hot & new” until I looked it up after our visit. We had just strolled into it after lunch at Bolay a few doors down. After studying the menu, 14 year old decided we would share the “Local” açaí bowl with banana, strawberries, blueberries, honey, and granola. We also added some pineapple The large size was big but it seemed a little smaller than other large sizes I have seen at other places. The açaí itself was cool, frosty, and delicious. They’re was plenty of fruit and every single piece was super ripe, fresh, and sweet. The servers were helpful and friendly. On that day the air conditioning was not working. There were fans but thankfully it was not too hot out. Worth a repeat visit at any of their locations!

Frutta Bowls Menu with Prices 245 Oconee St, Athens

I honestly wasn’t pleased by visit to Frutta Bowl. This is my first time visiting the chain restaurant and it will probably be my last. Like I just said this was my first time going so I was a little confused by the original menu that was set out because I’m use to going to açaí places where I can creat my own bowl. I didn’t see the create your own bowl menu until you are at the register as it is posted on the counter so that only whomever is standing there can see. I am not a fan of bananas and usually you can get an açaí bowl without bananas being put into the base at other açaí places however when I asked if I could do that I was looked at as if this was an odd request. I finished ordering my bowl which was a small açaí base ,their house made granola, apples, pineapples and honey. I got the bowl Togo so when I got to my car I realized there was a hair on my apples. Since I had already left the location and started eating the bowl before I noticed it I removed the rest of the apples and continued to eat the bowl keeping an eye out for other foreign objects. Overall I’m taking off one star since there was a hair and two stars for the difficulty in ordering and not really receiving a bowl that I truly wanted. HOWEVER this location is very trendy, and clean. The inside has very retro vibe and the bathroom was very clean and neatly decorated. I could see myself plugging in my laptop and finishing homework or even meeting friends here, I just wouldn’t do so with their açaí bowl.

Nature’s Juice – Menu with Prices – 335 N State College Blvd, Fullerton

I’m a huge fan of acai bowls so I chose this place to go have lunch with a friend. She works nearby so this place was convenient. I also saw that it had a high average rating so It thought it was worth a try. I think for acai bowl places, the prices here were a bit steep. I know acai bowls aren’t cheap, but I wish it were just $1 less for what I got. The ingredients were good, no issues there. And they were able to take my customization requests. But this is the “blend-type” acai bowl, not the “sorbet-type” so just to be aware. I like going back and forth between the two types, but the sorbet type usually has more customization, like Blue Bowl or Nekter Bowl Bar. Decent place, but nothing mind blowing. I probably won’t come back again as there wasn’t anything special in my opinion. But if you haven’t tried it for yourself, I’d recommend trying it, especially if you’re an acai bowl fan yourself.

Fit Bowl Co. – Menu with Prices – 214 E Davis Blvd, Tampa

Can’t say enough about this Hole in the Wall (literally) establishment. What they seem to lack in square footage they make up for in everything else. I had the OG Acai Bowl with recommendations from the owner, as I have never tried one before. I can tell you that I am hooked, came with açaí blended with bananas, blueberries, almond milk, agave nectar, topped with organic granola, almond butter and pineapple. I wish I could share a photo, but I ate it all. It truly is a hidden gem in Tampa, that more people need to discover. The food quality and presentation was on point. The genuine hospitality of the team was all that could be hoped for. Look forward to going back for seconds.
