I stopped in here this morning purely based on the Yelp reviews. Apparently I’ve never had a fresh donut before. Wow! Tyler’s may lack some ambience, but I went there for the donuts, not the atmosphere. They had a wide selection, including a few I’ve never seen before. Individual donut prices are a bit more than other places, but if you pick up a half dozen or a dozen, they give you a price break which totally makes it worth it. Even my kids noticed a difference- and they’ll eat anything! Their donuts were light and airy when they needed to be, and that perfect donut density on the others that we chose. We’ll certainly be back!

Krispy Kreme Menu with Prices 7710 Grass Creek Rd, Anchorage

I was here about 2 weeks ago and ordered a dozen original glazed but asked to swap just one for a different donut. Sure, no problem. I was charged $12.50 for the original glazed dozen. Today I go and order the same. I’m asked to pay $14.50. (Assorted dozen pricing). The price on the specialty donut was 1.75 on the order board at drive thru. If i buy an entire dozen plus the donut separately then Math = $14.25. When i get to the window I tell the guy I will just pay the $12.50 for the entire original dozen and get the extra donut on the side separately. He says that donut is 1.95. I let him know that’s not what the sign says, but I will pay whatever i owe and just not order that way again since they are not consistent with pricing. He heavy sighs, tells me “I just take one day at a time. It may have been human error your last visit, that’s my opinion.” Ummmm excuse me wtf? What does your opinion or how you take each day have anything to do with what just happened? Then I get home with my dozen plus one and these donuts are not fresh or warm at all actually cold like they came out of a fridge. Way too many other local places to get good donuts and spend my money. Don’t waste your time at this corporate chain with employees that give zero you know what’s.

Sweet Apple Menu with Prices 5430 McGinnis Ferry Rd #106, Alpharetta

I actually have never stepped foot in the place but years ago my friends told us about the tofu donuts of course we were grossed out.I’m not a donut person and that combo was even more off putting to me.So when my friends went to visit family they brought back a dozen of tofu donuts to Ft Stewart.I drove my 40 mim drive home and ate 4 donuts in the car.My kids and I then polished off the rest when we got home.We soon after left for Texas and for years I talked about these donuts to EVERYONE.We now live at Fort Benning and were going up there to visit our wonder donut loving friends and I preordered 4 or 5 dozen of tofu donuts. We ended up getting caught in traffic and our friends had to pick up our order before they closed for us.The whole ride my husband had to hear me talk about these donuts because he was in Korea when I had my first box of heaven. We arrive and of course the kids and I run in hug our friends and grab tofu donuts. These by far are the best donuts I will ever eat in my life. There texture is so airy and just flipping delicious.I also got so mixed of their reg donuts and the fresh strawberry donut thing was insanely good.I seriously wish they would franchise because I feel its unfair to everyone who has not had the chance to taste this greatness.

Best Donuts – Menu with Prices – 4301 SE 15th St A, Oklahoma City

You don’t call yourself “Best” without expecting some serious shade for if it’s not true. Good news is HOLY HELL. THESE ARE SOME BEST DAMN DONUTS. Each one is dipped or iced to please any perfectionist; they’re beautifully smooth on top. They are GORGEOUS donuts. And they taste like OH MY GOD. The glaze comes off in these beautiful little flakes. The donuts are perfectly chewy yet light and airy. Get a dozen for your office. And maybe a dozen for yourself. Donut holes? Oh please just get yourself a dozen of those, all assorted. Even if I buy the office donuts, I tend to like donut holes better (even though I end up eating the equivalent of six donuts then), and the Bavarian cream ones are so addictive that I suddenly became everyone’s best friend in the office. Definitely one of the Top 3 donut shops across America that I’ve ever had. Eat now, worry about pushups later.

Mac’s Donuts Menu with Prices 14th St N Courthouse Rd, Arlington

Took me three tries at the Arlington (Courthouse) Farmer’s Market to get my hands on these and they were well worth the wait. I don’t think they show up weekly at the market but if you spot the bright blue van, you should definitely give it a try. By far my favorite dessert place that I’ve tried at the market! The smell of apple cider donuts gently wafts through the cool, fall air as you approach, which teases the delicious experience awaiting ahead. Then you watch them drop the donut batter into the fryer which pumps out the delectable bite-sized morsels. It doesn’t get much fresher than Mac’s! I was hesitant to order since the smallest order has 6 donuts, but they were inhaled instantaneously. The mini donuts are hot and crunchy on the outside, but the perfect amount of soft and density (which a cake donut should have). Dust your donuts with your choice of powdered sugar and/or cinnamon (I recommend both), and if you haven’t stopped by yet, you donut want to miss this!

Custer Donut – Menu with Prices – 11477 Custer Rd, Frisco

This shop is located on Custer and El Dorado, which should be easy to access when they finish the construction on Custer Rd, but right now it’s messy to pull in. Thankfully, it was worth it. First up, prices. $7.50 for a dozen chocolate $6.50 for a dozen plain I don’t know how this compares to other donut places in the area, since I just moved here, but my dozen came out to $10, I assume because I got several specialty donuts. I am not sure what the individual up charge is per donut. I thought that was a little steep and was happy when the woman helping us noticed my daughter eyeing donut holes and gave her a bag, free of charge. The interior is unadorned, typical donut shop. They have drinks such as juice and milk for sale. I haven’t had a cake donut, but the raised are fantastic. They are light and airy with just the right amount of chew and glaze. It definitely exceeded my expectations and warranted some return visits.

Fiction Donuts – Menu with Prices – 1835 US HIGHWAY 1 SOUTH, #139, St. Augustine

FICTION PRICING 1st visit, last visit. Party of 5 w/three young children. Small shop and today they were not customer focused, read experience below. The raised donuts we rated a 3.5 out of 5 & cake donuts 2 out of 5…heavy cake dough. We also ordered a very large cinnamon bun $5, we rate a 3 out of 5. When ordering we chose the “Fiction Dozen a mix of 6 yeast & 6 cake donuts. After all 5 of us, selecting 7 yeast & 5 cake we were told, ” you have chosen 7 yeast but it’s no problem we can do that”. Rather than us reducing the raised donut quantity we proceeded to check out. The order total was $5 higher than the menu board pricing and when asked “why?” the reply was, “you ordered 7 yeast & a maple bacon so the price is higher for those”. Essentially we were charged the individual donut price for each donut vs the board posted highest yeast per dozen price. We paid the higher total price and departed to avoid any further discussion considering we had young children with us. Fiction should clearly post their pricing exceptions or inform its customers during the donut selection process, none of which occurred on this visit, as a result we will not be patronizing Fiction (Pricing) again.

Family Donuts – Menu with Prices – 600 S Victory Blvd, Burbank

We Burbankers don’t like to brag … but … we do have our own airport, five movie studios, no parking meters, and about 50 donut shops. Our city logo should be a movie poster of a donut on an airplane. ‘Family” Donuts replaced Winchells Donuts on Victory, right by the U-wash-it car wash and the pupusa place I love on Victory. Donuts are a 10 — light and fluffy with great icing. The price is right too, about $11 for a mixed dozen in a sweet white box that displays a dozen donuts perfectly. I always bring a dozen to my vet’s office on appointment day. Only the “family” can go inside Family Donuts — the shop is really no shop. The ladies are inside and you are outside, pointing through the windows at the donuts you want. Street parking galore. As mentioned, no parking meters in the City of Burbank!

DoughBoys Donuts – Menu with Prices – 5115 Mae Anne Ave B, Reno

I have always told myself that I don’t like donuts. I think this is more so so I don’t eat them, all the time. Well that’s actually true for the puffy ones filled with air I don’t know what they are called! I never knew there were different kinds of donuts until a bad day at work that someone had brought Doughboy in and I went for it. Someone explained this was a cake donut. I’ve been hooked since and Doughboy makes them perfect. However they are still the only ones I like. Last Halloween we chose Doughboy donuts to serve at our party. They were eaten up. Recently I hosted a baby shower and I ordered a dozen donuts the day before with a special green frosting. Little did I know hubby had them add blue frosting flowers. These turned out adorable and I’m very happy with the customer service. Prices are fantastic and who doesn’t love donuts (other than me)!

The Donut Tree – Menu with Prices – 16100 TX-121 #120, Frisco

Sausages in the kolaches are tiny. Specialty donuts priced $2.50-$4. Kind of expensive. Every time I asked the lady at the counter for the price of a donut, she would take a piece of paper and look at the price. Because all their donuts priced differently, it is very annoying, unless you do not care about a price. Nothing special including green tea donut. Got my kid donut with colorful icing and a unicorn on top. I thought it was a cookie, but you can not even eat a unicorn, because it is made of sugar that feels like a rock in your mouth. What is the point of making a cute kids donut, if there is a part of it that they have to throw away?

Best donuts & breakfast – Menu with Prices – 8004 Indiana Ave A2, Lubbock

I found the donuts to be really good but not amazing. If I was rating just on the donuts I would give a solid 3-4 star rating. I’m giving 5 star because my in-store experience was better than I’ve had at any other donut shop in Lubbock/Wolfforth. The shop was clean and smelled fresh. I was greeted as soon as I walked in and felt very comfortable the whole time – never rushed. I ordered two dozen assorted donuts and a bacon wrapped kolache. The employee (or owner, I’m not sure) who checked me out even put extra (probably 10-12) donut holes all around on the inside of one of the boxes of dozen donuts free of charge! I should have taken a picture – I was blown away that she would do that. They tasted great and made the dozen donuts look more visually appealing when the box was opened. The bacon wrapped kolache was amazing – definitely hit the spot. I’ll be a repeat customer.

Fill Bakeshop & Creamery – Menu with Prices – 1767 Newport Blvd, Costa Mesa

We were pretty excited to see that “ponde ringu” Mochi donuts we’re available in SoCal since it’s one of our favorite snacks in Japan, from Mister Donut. We did the hour drive down to Newport Beach to see what was up with these, and how it compares to Japanese Mister Donut. Overall they’re pretty dang close. They definitely captured the right amount of chewiness and overall didn’t taste too sweet (like Mister Donut). Fill has it’s own take by putting on different glaze toppings to give them unique flavors. The one thing I was missing from Fill is a simple glazed Mochi donut. Overall, while good, I didn’t think the various flavors were anything outstanding and that only made me wish they did a simple glazed even more. The highlight for me was the matcha-White chocolate, since I love most anything matcha and the icing they use def had a clear matcha flavor. I also liked the strawberry icing donut. Very strong strawberry flavor which was nice. My next favorite was the milk and cereal. This was the closest to a plain glazed and I suppose if you take off the bits of captain crunch it would be a plain glazed. The other flavors were fine (guava cheesecake, coffee and cream, coconut) but I probably would just stick to the other three if we’re down here again. The biggest difference to Mister Donut in japan is the cost. These donuts are 2.60 each ($33 for a dozen after tax – whoa!!!), Mister Donut is about 1.25 – $2 (for the fancy seasonal filled Mochi donut) but obviously if we’re not in Japan, Fill will give us our “fill” of tasty Mochi donuts. Worth checking out for sure if you’re homesick for Mister Donut ã?ã?³ã??ã?ªã?³ã?°

Ball Donuts Menu with Prices 2121 E Ball Rd, Anaheim

You know when you are hooked on these new creative donuts and you just happen to find a name you thought was one of those hip locations, but when you pay a visit, its NOT. Yup, they got me. With only 20 Reviews, my suspicions were correct. It was just a local donut shop that is on Ball Road. If you just want a good cheap donut, come by Ball Donuts in Anaheim. Honestly, I know I would be pushing it to go to a specialty donut place during my lunch break. So, I saw the name on Yelp and said, “Let’s Go!” Located on the north side of Ball Road behind the car wash in a small shopping strip, you will find, Ball Donuts. Parking is tight when you have so many cars parking in angles and delivery trucks blocking the path. Ball Donuts opens everyday at 4am. Whoa…I wonder who is awake at 4am. It would make sense at 5am, At 4 am, that where they serve their best and HOTTEST donuts. Unfortunately for me, I came in at noon and they didn’t have much of a selection left. And they close at 8pm? Not much left for choices by the end of the day. I was greeted by an elderly Asian lady. Apparently, other Yelpers have met her too. She was very warm in her welcome. She automatically wanted me to try the Blueberry Donut. Blueberry Donut?! I’ve never heard of that before. I saw it, but it was hard to tell it was a Blueberry Donut. So, I got a Blueberry, a glazed, and a lemon-filled sugar donut ($2.95). I don’t have a price on a dozen donuts, but she quoted me for three dozen donuts for $8.50. Not bad for those large workplaces who devour their donuts. When I brought to my donuts back, I had to dissect it. The first one on my list is the lemon-filled powdered donut. Before I even tried to open, it looks like Ball Donuts slices their donuts versus injecting the donuts. I wasn’t sure if its classified as a donut or a sandwich. Yeah, it may have been made out of cake batter, but it was cut like a sandwich… A lot of the filling was on one side of the donut. It wasn’t really spread out evenly. I didn’t feel heavy eating it and that was a DONUT! However, I did fall asleep for a bit. Must be the side effects of a delicious donut. The highlight of the visit wasn’t the lemon-filled powdered donut. It was the Blueberry Donut. OK, it wasn’t decorated any special, but it was made out of BLUEBERRY! You’ve tried a Red Velvet Donut! Then try a Blueberry Donut. Its fruity and with the light glaze, I still didn’t feel guilty for having it. Overall, Ball Donuts is a family shop. Its a small family donut shop. I love how I was greeted, love the price, and the donuts were just as good without the fancy donut names. I am all for small business and if you want to feed the morning crowd at work and donuts is the only thing you are after, come to Ball Donuts. They’ll be ready for you and your large orders. Still trying to not laugh when I hear the name, Ball Donuts. Yelp…My passion is not to write my reviews, but to share my experiences with you. Take that journey and share your story.
