They also have fresh eggplant, olives, cheeses, sliced deli meats to take home , various different subs, home made frozen pasta dishes, excellent red sauce all good. They sell bottles of wine, unique soft drinks, snacks, Bakery items, candies. They even sell hats and ravioli makers, very unique things. The food is just so good, smells great when you open the door! Just be prepared to wait in line, it’s usually very busy. But worth it.

Andy & Sons Importing Co Menu with Prices 256 Delaware Ave, Albany

Andy & Sons is one of the few places I get food from at least once a month. I require their Broadway sub for hikes, road trips, or just a really good lunch. Every ingredient they use is flavorful, fresh, and perfectly balanced within every sub. This place is worth it for the subs alone, there’s really no contest. But you can also get a lot of other dishes, included prepared pastas and antipasto, freshly sliced meats and cheeses (the asiago and fresh mozzarella balls are some of the best). If you’re looking for Italian meats and cheeses, this is the place to go (yes, they have a better Italian cheese selection than even the Cheese Traveler). You can also pick up some frozen pastas that they make in-house, a whole bunch of amazing quality Italian grocery items, from balsamic vinegars, to espresso, to biscotti and more. Staff is always nice and fast too. Just a note that they do have a card minimum of $10, but if you get a sub + one of the chocolate bars they sell there, you’ll be set and happy. Or grab some freshly made garlic bread toasts to share with friends.

City Meats & Vegetables Menu with Prices 5535 1st Ave N, Birmingham

I come to City Meats and Vegetables for the family meat packages that they have that range from about $20 to about $90. For leas than $60, i received ground beef, leg quarters, drumsticks, chicken wings, tilapia, bread, a 2 little drink, 6 frozen pizzas, a box of corn dogs, chicken nuggets (that taste just like McDonalds), hash browns, and a bag of biscuits. I took one of my items off and replaced it. You are allowed to remove two items per package. The meats appear to be freshly cut in store and that’s one of the reasons I love coming here. They also have prepackaged meats, pizza, and other snacks available for purchase. They sell vegetables, but I never purchase them from here. If you’re in the neighborhood, check it out. It’s a small local store that has been around for decades.

Original Sub Shop & Deli – Menu with Prices – 402 Broadway St, Toledo

The OG Sub Shop is easily one of my favorite eateries in Toledo. Not only is it the oldest sub shop in town (40 years strong) it’s one of very few non-chain restaurants that specializes in the delight of oblong sandwiches. Owner Maureen Brogan is a wonderful person and her staff are always friendly and exciting. The vibe is wonderful, a cool old building filled with local art, literature and books to borrow, and really great smells. The food is wonderful, all high quality deli meats, fresh vegetables, and homemade soups daily, among other items. All subs are served on All Crumbs Bakery artisan bread (best bakery in town), which makes all the difference. The GOATS menu is the signature of the shop in its latest iteration. These are fun, inventive experiments that are all rousing successes! And there’s the old school menu, the Originals, that honor the sammies that kept the place humming for 30+ years under the stewardship of the original owners. These are a few of my favorite things: Angry Goat – goat cheese, jam, pastrami and hot sauce? Yes please! Beef & Basil – just as it says, savory sliced roast beef balanced with fresh pesto The Original – this is really the perfect sandwich, stacked with salami, ham, and bologna and sliced provolone, piled with crispy iceberg lettuce, it reminds me of childhood. It’s simple and taste the way a Midwest summer birthday party picnic feels. Pro tip: add roasted red pepper and banana peppers Italian / Deli Sub – slightly different take on these old standards and they are great Clumsy Goat – Hands down the best veggie sub you can get in town Tuna Salad Salad – This unique curried chicken salad is a Sub Shop staple. You gotta try a scoop! Fun Fact: you can make any sub on the menu a salad Macaroni Salad – arguably my favorite macaroni salad anywhere (don’t tell my mom!), it’s so filled with black pepper Chili / any soup – the chili recipe has been on the menu for many years and it delivers every time. Each day/week the the menu changes (roasted red pepper, cream of mushroom, There’s also a full case of fun sodas, root beers and other treat and be sure to check out the fine selection of potato chips. Stop in, grab an order, and enjoy the vibe. It’s a nice little space and it’ll refresh your day. You’ll definitely want to come back.

A Taste of Italy – Menu with Prices – 1101 S College Rd, Wilmington

I have had many of Italian subs from many places and nothing beats this place! Homemade bread, fresh sliced meats, huge portions, and just delicious!! I have never saw such a heaping pile of meat! Their chicken salad is one of the top chicken salads in Wilmington. Their macaroni and anti pasta salad is also amazing. Pricing is right where it should be. I have not had their pasta but have heard it was wonderful. They have a deli, grocery items, and a place to eat there. I usually get my food to go. Their breakfast sandwiches are also very good. I recommend this place for catering, too!

West Lake Bakery & Deli – Menu with Prices – 3443 W Lake Rd, Erie

If you are looking for a delicious 3′ sub to share with friends that is on the best crusty bread you have ever tasted then you better visit West Lake Bakery and Deli. The price is right – $4.99 and the owners are downright friendly! You cannot go wrong with this sub. If you go on a Saturday and the subs are sold out – head up to Bello’s on 32nd and Pittsburgh as the cousin sells the subs in the back left-hand corner for the same price!

Neapolitan Gourmet – Menu with Prices – 5415 Airport-Pulling Rd, Naples

Coming into this place I had very high expectations as the sign on the front window said “The best subs in town”and a fellow yelper raved about their subs. Neapolitan Gourmet is a small Italian Grocery and Deli store located off Pine Ridge Road and Airport in the Bed Bath and Beyond plaza. They sell authentic Italian imported items from their array of canned tomatoes to pastas to EVOO. The owners pride themselves on making many of their products in house with homemade sausages, marinara sauces, pre made cutlets, mozzarella, lasagnas and cut to order homemade subs. I was immediately greeted by the owner, Vinny who was very cordial and made you feel at home. You could tell he prides himself on the quality of products he sells and was very informative of what they had to offer. He even had me try their homemade sausage with broccoli rabe which was delicious! I ordered the Italian Sub with Capicola, Ham, Salami and Geno along with lettuce, tomato, onion, cherry peppers, provolone and home made mozzarella. Everything was sliced to order including the toppings. The bread was rustic while light and airy on the inside that was a perfect canvas to hold all the ingredients. I rarely give out 5 stars because it’s hard to find a place that can provide quality, value, cleanliness, great customer service/friendliness and offerings, but this place was well deserving of each of those criteria’s. The sub was phenomenal and lived up to the sign and agree, it’s the best sub in town! I highly recommend this place and will be back again soon. Thank you, Vinny for your hospitality and service!

Feast! Coffee Shop – Menu with Prices – 416 W Main St, Charlottesville

I was super excited to finally get a chance to try Feast’s cafe! I have been in the area many times but was never able to catch it when the cafe was open. All of the sandwich flavor combos sounded so amazing and mouthwateringly delicious that I had to give it a shot. On top of everything, they even offer gluten-free, yay! Unfortunately, however, I was really disappointed. The chicken and fig sandwich was just deli chicken, not real chicken, and the flavor was really nothing special. I was expecting something more special. I do not even eat deli meat at home, so that was disappointing, as was the fact that it was just on regular sliced sandwich bread, at least the gluten-free version, but the flavor was less than memorable. I was really flabbergasted by the quantity for the price too. I loved that it came with a side, I chose the quinoa, but not very memorable overall. It was like a single thin slice of deli meat chicken. I wish I could feel differently, but I have no plans to patronize the cafe again. I will stick with the store, which I absolutely love. Now, the store is a true treat. It is gourmet with very gourmet prices as well, but you can find everything you need for a great party or, well, feast! You can find local and important cheeses of all varieties, artisan cured meats, lots of homestyle treats from small business locally and nationally, spreads, dips, candies, nuts, and tons of samples, mmm! This place is a cook, entertainer, and food lover’s dream! They even have cool individual serve refreshments with fresh, simple, clean, and delicious ingredients. They are pricey, but a unique treat. The store is definitely worth a stop if you’re in the area, and even worth bringing a cooler to be able to bring home some yummy cheeses and such, mmmm mmm! The service is great and very knowledgeable and helpful too!

Ashley’s Deli – Menu with Prices – 3131 W 11th Ave, Eugene

Not sure why they call this a deli. It’s a Lottery Gaming room, plain and simple. Most of these places sell snacks. They’re all supposed to serve customers free water, soda, etc. Most do not do this any more. This place does, or at least the person working does. Very nice! And if it calls itself a deli, I’m sure they’ll put together a sandwich for you as well. Sell you cigarettes and Scratchers, too. Anyway, the day I went was warm – so the a/c felt good, the place was tidy and comfortable. Having someone come to me with an ice cold soda while I sat at a machine playing was great! Even if it cost me $30 (losing machine) before I had a chance to drink half of it. ð???

Magnolia Bakery – Menu with Prices – 1412 N Magnolia Ave, Ocala

Make sure there’s cash in your wallet because that’s the only method of payment they take. There is however an ATM inside the bakery. Magnolia Bakery serves hot & cold deli subs and pastries. This day I ordered the antipasto salad. Unfortunate for me (and other customers) they were out of roast beef, mortadella, and artichokes that I am aware of. The salad was skimpy compared to others but that was fine. Problem was I became violently ill the rest of the day after ingesting it. This was the only food I had eaten for the day. In thinking back, I remember the employees taking cash from customers and not washing their hands afterwards. They were rubbing their unclean hands on the meats, touching the pastries and scooping food out of bowls with their bare hands. Very unsanitary and not something I care to witness again.

Milagrito Market and Bakery – Menu with Prices – 10705 Courthouse Rd, Fredericksburg

Milagrito is all of the following: Mexican grocery, bakery, deli counter, and restaurant. The restaurant we did not try but is right beside the grocery store. The deli is all the way in the back and looked quite small. The bakery items are in the back as as well in a case. They did not offer a huge selection of bakery items but I think there were enough selections for a grocery place that is on the small side. Upon entering on a Saturday at 4pm, I could smell the bakery items and it smelled so divine I had to try one. It seems they were restocking the bakery shelves with fresh goodies because a guy came from the back with a huge tray of baked goods. I had what looked like a rectangular cake with two layers with a thin layer of jelly between the layers. It had pink sugar on top. It was slightly warm so that’s a good sign. It was soft and not too sweet but sweet enough. Since it was such a huge slice, I had some left over the next day and it was still soft. Also bought some limes (6 for $1) and some spicy mango lollipop candy. Spent around $3.

Gastronome European Grocery and Deli – Menu with Prices – 2707 NE 114th Ave, Vancouver

Great find! If you are looking for some European foodstuffs, this is a good place to check out. Not a huge store but I’d say medium-sized, well organized and clean. The lady working there was so very friendly and helpful to the customers coming through. They had a good variety of both canned & dry goods, snacks, candy, teas/beverages along with a small refrigerated section with some cold/dairy items. They also have a deli counter with meats/sausages sold by the pound and freshly baked breads, beautiful cakes and some other fresh baked food items (I didn’t see a sign on them behind the counter but there appeared to be some kind of piroshki which is a dough stuffed with a variety of fillings). The prices were comparable to other European markets in the area. There also seems to be a little coffee shop at the rear of the store but I’m not sure if the cashier for the market makes the coffee as well or how that works. No one was in the coffee shop area when we were in the store.
