Good Al Pastor tacos. I usually order from here 5x a month and the tacos are always good and on time. The only thing is that the new delivery guy refuses to come up the stairs when delivering, which made me a bit disappointed since I have been ordering from here for about two years and always recommend this place to everyone in my building since I’m Mexican and I know Mexican food. Yummy food though.

Arteaga’s Food Center – Menu with Prices – 2620 Alum Rock Ave, San Jose

I was very pleased I found this place on short notice. I saw they had tacos de chicharrón, ordered 3 of each , chicharrón, 3 of carne asada, 3 of cabeza. The best one of chicharrón they said did’t have. I was so disappointed. Made anothe choice, carne al pastor. I also wanted something sweet small like a Mexican jello. Something lite. No, they said they could not provide even if I paid seperate. All was for delivery. The delivery person had a Chicago number, I did’t know. Later after another call, was able to reiceve the Tacos which I chose the #1 box of 12 tacos with limes , Green sauce, tasted from can, the red sauce not good for my taste, not made fresh price was $$ ok for bringing to your door. Included tip. I think in Order to Order something for delivery you need to know in person who you Order from first, see what thy offer and not, for delivery.

Taqueria Amigo Chino – Menu with Prices – 5601 W Irving Park Rd, Chicago

Since I’ve only had tacos 3X’s in the last 3 days I was craving tacos again lol. Tonight is Monday we were driving by Taqueria Amigo Chino on the SW corner of Irving Park & Central Avenue and saw a sign from the Mexican Gods to go to Al Pastor Tacos for $1.39 on Mondays and Thursday. (or it could have been the sign on the window advertising it lol) So we pulled around the block and parked on Central a few doors from the restaurant. The restaurant was fairly busy (go figure for $1.39 Al Pastor tacos). Like most Mexican restaurants they brought us out an order of chips w/3 salsas. Both my wife and I ordered 3 Al Pastor tacos. I’m basing my review solely on the tacos. I’m surprised that Taqueria Amigo Chino is only rated 2 1/2 stars. The tacos that came to table were very good. They were loaded w/Al Pastor, onions & cilantro on 2 corn tortillas. The pork was very good w/a nice crispy texture. The service was good, good food w/street parking along Central Avenue. Remember Monday or Thursday for Al Pastor Tacos for $1.39

Crystal Mountain Water – Menu with Prices – 275 Quality Cir NW, Huntsville

I’ve had two accounts for many years. I think it’s been around 9 years. Have one account at work, and had one account at home. I had to cancel the home account because the delivery schedule changed almost every month. I would get random deliveries, or not get a delivery at all. Sometimes my empty bottles would sit outside for a month. I just couldn’t keep storing empties until I hit the delivery lottery. My work account has been great, though. And the customer service has been pretty good.

Los Chilangos Menu with Prices 14008 NE 8th St, Bellevue

Taqueria Los Chilangos is a solid food truck, serving Mexican favorites. Its truck is located at the Shell gas station at the intersection of 8th and 140th, where they’re open all day. I came here to grab some quick dinner for my boyfriend and me, as I was in the area for a meeting and spotted Taqueria Los Chilangos’ truck. I ordered five tacos, two with carnitas, two with al pastor and one with chupa cabras. For also checking in on Yelp I got free chips and salsa. On a Tuesday around 7pm, there were quite a few people waiting out in the cold for the goods. Of all the tacos, I actually thought the chupa cabras was the best. It’s not something I’d normally choose with street tacos, as it’s a combination of carne asada and chorizo, but I definitely recommend trying it. I’ve never seen this meat option at other taquerias, which is what intrigued me the most. I’m glad it ended up being a favorite. The al pastor tacos were also good, especially with the pineapple on top, which I think all al pastor tacos should have! But the carnitas, which is usually my go-to protein of choice with street tacos, was sadly, disappointing. Meat was very dry; therefore, it was bland. Stick with the chupa cabras and al pastor meats. In addition to tacos, the menu has a lot to offer, including breakfast served all day! (One of these days I’m gonna get a breakfast burrito.) They also have two different salsas that you can choose from, as well as various flavors of Jarritos. There isn’t seating outside of the truck – only a standing table, so not sure if when the weather fares better are when the seats bust out. At least you can park here and eat your grub in your car, which I noticed a few patrons doing. No shame.

Taco King Food Truck – Menu with Prices – 4001 N Armenia Ave, Tampa

The Taco King Food Truck is located off North Armenia Avenue, North of i275, 1 block north of where Howard and Armenia merge, next to a Citgo Gas Station, McDonald’s, Advance Auto, and Dunkin Donuts. Although the Taco King Food Truck has set up permanent shop next to the Citgo gas station, there aren’t any picnic tables for sitting or eating nearby and it would definitely be nice to have. I was very disappointed that the Taco King Food Truck took the fish tacos off their menu, did not serve pulled pork, did not serve shrimp, and 2 of their tacos are only served over the weekend from Friday to Sunday. This left me with only 4 types of taco options including Al Pastor, Chroizo, Carne Asada, and Pollo. Since I’m tired of chicken and not a big fan of chorizo, it only left me with 2 options- the Al Pastor and the Carne Asada. Most taco places offer shrimp, pulled pork, flavored steak, and flavored pulled pork tacos. The Al Pastor and Carne Asada tacos were a bit on the small side and he marinade used wasn’t my favorite. The house made orange and green hot sauces helped make up for the marination short comings but the hot sauces were not quite as good as my favorite taco Food Truck Loli’s Mexican Cravings. Aside from tacos, Taco King Food Truck also serves Quesadillas, Burritos, Quesurittos, and Gringa Flour Tortillas. If you’re looking for a better taco food truck, I highly recommend Loli’s Mexican cravings with better marinades, more meat options, and better house made hot sauces. Loli’s Mexican Cravings is mobile though so you’ll have to check their schedule to see when they’re available. If you’re looking for good tacos in the same area north of the interstate I recommend Taqueria Emanuel off North Macdill and West Columbus.

Riverside Taco Company Menu with Prices 105 N Union St, Alexandria

I live in Chicago where thereâ??s a big Mexican community and lots of taco joints that are amazing. I was disappointed in the amount salt and grease these tacos had. My tortilla felt apart while trying to eat. I had one el pastor which is pork but should never be swimming in a pool of grease. I had high expectations because of all the good reviews on google. Really sad to see how some people will walk away from this taco truck thinking these are legit tacos…

Taqueria Don Tomas – Menu with Prices – 918 E Berry St, Fort Worth

Living in DFW for upwards of 15 years now, you kind of understand with Tacos what is authentic and what is not. We have such a multitude of choices to go to in the area, I found that the Tacos at Don Thomas are some of the best and most authentic. We stopped by and we tried the al pastor, bistec and campechanos. They were outstanding and my only regret was not ordering more. It’s a little of a hike but so worth it if your nearby. Personally I wish I worked closer as this would be my lunch spot.

Maria’s Tacos y Mas – Menu with Prices – 9331 Tamiami Trail N, Naples

Jose Romero Sr. and his wife, Maria and three sons known for their authentic Mexican cuisine at Maria’s Restaurant in Bonita Springs has now opened their second location in Naples Park Plaza called Maria’s Tacos y Mas (tacos & more). This location is very small with about three seats inside taking over the previously owned Rumba Cafe location next to Joe’s Diner. They are more outfitted for takeout specializing in Street Tacos. They serve 9 types of tacos which include some of their more famously known types like Al Pastor and Carnitas to Cachete (beef cheeks), Lengua (Cow tongue) and tripe tacos. According to Jose, the Al Pastor, Cachete and Carnita tacos are a must try. They also serve, burritos, chimichangas, gorditas, nachos, tamales, quesadillas and flan along with Horchata, beer, wine and Jarrito soda. Whenever trying a New Mexican place for the first time, I order the Al Pastor items as it’s the Gold Medal standard for authentic Mexican Tacos. If they can’t get this right, I’ve got issues and concerns. I ordered two corn tortilla Al Pastor Tacos and one Al Pastor Gordita. Made by, Jose himself, these came out looking gorgeous while super hot and fresh. The marinated pork was perfectly charred while succulent on the inside and full of flavor. The corn tortillas were nice and crispy providing a good canvas to hold everything in. Served with onions and cilantro with a side of their homemade green and red sauce. The Gordita which is a little corn cake made from masa dough then stuffed with your protein of choice, white cheese, onion and cilantro was another great edition to a perfect first experience to this location. Service was great, food was excellent and if you want some delicious tacos at a reasonable price for takeout, this place is perfect! Speaking to the owner, he prides himself on everything being homemade sharing lifelong recipes from his mother and himself through his food.

Tacos El Rey Food Truck – Menu with Prices – 7825 Sycamore Drive, Huntington Beach

I was on a mission during this trip to the OC to find some mexican food that was A+ Today my mission came to a successful end at this food truck. I was disappointed to find out that they too do not make their Al Pastor on a spit but she was nice to let me try it and I was surprised that it was very good. So I got a Pastor taco and a carne asada quesadilla which was an even better meat than the Pastor. Top it off that the 2 ladies were incredibly pleasant and personable and gave me a complimentary cup of fresh pineapple juice. Stopping here made my day. Will be back.

Chuy’s Night Club – Menu with Prices – Fresno

This is one of the best taco trucks in Fresno! If you are looking for really authentic tacos that taste amazing with tons of topping choices for not much money, this is your taco truck! Here’s why I love it: 1) The tortillas and meats: sooo good! Like at many other trucks, the tacos here are served with just the tortilla and meat so that you can customize them how you like them (see below). The tortillas are really good: they taste freshly made (not sure if they are actually making them in the truck, but they are super fresh none-the-less). The meats are good too: we tried four different meats, and all are yummy. I particularly recommend the al pastor, which is, in fact, cooked on a spit with fresh pineapple (the *only* way to cook al pastor!). Sooo good! 2) The toppings: there are a TON of different options, including both grilled and raw onions (go for the grilled!), beans, jalapenos, cabbage, cilantro, and five different types of salsa (the green is the best!). Also, if you do get al pastor, be sure to ask for fresh pineapple on top! 3) The price: soooo cheap! Most tacos are less than $2 each, so go ahead, eat as many as you want! Other menu options are really cheap too. 4) The staff: super friendly and fast! Why aren’t you eating here yet?!?!

Cantina Taco – Menu with Prices – 117 S Main St, Rockford

We’ve been fans of their tacos getting them at the market as well as through Stewart Square Eatery for years and now we’re so excited that Cantina Taco finally has its very own restaurant! I have not had the chance to eat inside yet but I did order delivery to my work one afternoon and was not disappointed. Here’s what I ordered: 1. The fish tacos – I’m a seafood fan and I tend to lean towards fish tacos whenever I stop at a taco place but I think these may be my new go-to. I was extremely impressed with how well seasoned and perfectly crisp their fish batter was without overpowering the fish itself and their slightly sweet slaw offered a great balance in the taco. 2. Chorizo brunch taco – chorizo, egg, potato – nicely cooked and delicious! 3. Chips and queso – Whatever is in their queso is creamy and addicting. Be warned, you’re probably not going to want to share (though there’s more than enough to.) Overall, I was happy as always with their tacos and would definitely recommend it ?

Taqueria la monarca – Menu with Prices – zip, 5813 Old Lee Hwy #7, Chattanooga

A must try. Don’t miss out on this favorite family spot. Very friendly and authentic. No set menu. Sustainable in a sense. Mom is in the back. While her daughter takes your order. There’s a variation of selections incumbent on the time of day. But the very best part is that she has fresh made tortillas daily. Anything like it never has come as close as having fresh corn tortillas from la plancha. There’s an array of delicious choices from mariscos to tacos. Menudo. No! Not the band. This is a traditional beef broth. Their tacos are so delicious that I have sat down and have tried them all. Those little tortillas are special. Double stack on each taco. Plus the carne asada. Oh my. So well worth it. Made with sautéed onions. Did I mention that she cooks to order? It’s not just the tortillas. The meats in these tacos are actually fresh and yummy. Pastor, lengua, chorizo, chicharrón, cabeza, carne asada y pollo. If you want authentic tacos or authentic delicious home cooked Mexican style dishes. Then you will want to try La Monarca.
