I haven’t been to the other location so I’m pretty new to Toss. We came in and walked through to the cashier at the far end, completely missing the host stand. No one was there and no sign so we went back to the front after being told we have to wait to be seated. We were seated quickly on a Thursday evening. My kids ran to the side where there’s ping pong, corn hole, and some other games. Even for pizza, my kids didn’t want to come in. I can’t remember the name of my pizza but I think there were feta crumbles on it. My sons got cheese pizzas and one sausage pizza. I also asked for the cauliflower crust. It was crunchy and at times way too crunchy. My pizza was a little too dry too. The kids pizzas looked and tasted great and staff was busy. Everyone seemed to be enjoying themselves. Maria was our waitress and we saw her maybe every 5 minutes filling our glasses and asking if we needed anything. She even checked in the back and would give us heads up on how much longer our pizzas would take. The gluten free crusts take a little longer to bake so keep that in mind. She was always making sure we were okay. Very kind and would love to be seated at her table again. The menu isn’t really too unique. You’ll find regular flavors and build your own. You can even order a beer for the staff in the back working hard which is another way of tipping them if you’d like. For the sports lovers, there’s a few TVs on for you. There’s also longer tables for groups as well as booths for smaller groups. Seating outside too. A little bit of advice for the restaurant: the ping pong balls tend to roll under the wall or over. You might want a tall screen above and below so the balls stay in the yard. Kids were running into the parking lot to go get them back.

Back and Forth Bar – Menu with Prices – 303 Columbia St, Vancouver

The concept of this place is awesome — ping pong, darts, and boardgames. It’s a step up from board game bars and definitely a hip and bumpin’ place to bring a group of friends. We don’t have many places like this in Vancouver! We came here last night and unfortunately when we arrived at 9:30 the sign said the next time a Ping Pong Table would be free was 10:10. When we inquired how to rent the next free table, we were told it would be after midnight. Uh, update your sign. I think we wouldn’t have even purchased drinks and ducked out to a quieter place. So, yeah, we ended up buying our drinks and only then asking about the tables, unfortunately; however, drinks were pretty decently priced – 5.75 for a pint with an awesome selection of great local craft beers on tap. The place is pretty funky, lots of long tables to bring/seat big groups or to meet some strangers; though it was pretty rough trying to find a place to sit or even stand. The tunes were mid to late 2000s hip hop/rap last night which made it a good vibe. They had some cushy couches on a raised area that had darts, so we ended up chilling and playing some darts and trying to talk however it was super loud. Overall, we were disappointed the tables were all booked and that they didn’t update their sign. Yes, yes, it WAS a Saturday night and again, the concept of this bar is good. Drinks are cheap and the crowd is bumpin’ (20s/30s). I would check out this place on a week night.. and I bet I’d probably enjoy it, but last night, trying to talk, trying to play ping pong.. trying to enjoy myself seemed impossible.

The Pizza Press – Menu with Prices – 6079 W Irlo Bronson Memorial Hwy, Kissimmee

We stopped here during our vacation in Orlando, and it was a good decision. We weren’t sure what to expect walking into the Pizza Press, but we were quite surprised in what we found. If you’ve been to Blaze, then the concept is similar. Quick and fast personal pizza. They have quite a variety of signature pizzas, as well a build your own, with a pretty impressive list of ingredients to choose from. We ordered 2 of their signature pizzas, The Tribune and Chronicle. We did add a few things on both, and the service was happy to accommodate our requests. In fact, my wife took a while “building” her pizza, and there was nothing but smiles and laughing from the service team. Maybe it was because they weren’t too busy when we arrived, but it was nice to see. We got one of their specials, which was 2 pizzas and drinks. We got seated and waited for our pizzas. While we waited we noticed all the newspaper inspired items around the place, and realize that was the whole concept of the Pizza Press. Interesting. Our pizzas came and both were quite delicious. The sweet Italian sausage on the Tribune was a hit with me, while the all the veggies on the Chronicle were very good and tasty. We couldn’t finish either, with a few slices left, so we got a to-go box for them and took it back to our hotel (I did have some the next day). Overall, The Pizza Press offered a very tasty pizza and the service was great. If we vacation in Orlando (or down by Celebration, Fl), we will at least know of a pizza place we enjoyed.

BIGA Contemporary Pizza – Menu with Prices – 1 Clinton St, New York

My friends and I ended up coming here on a cold winter’s night last minute, without a reservation, and on a Saturday evening, due to it being Australia Day, and a giant crowd at Benson’s. It was prime dinner hour, but Biga was pretty empty despite that, and we were able to be seated straight away. The service was very friendly and informative, and they told us that it was BYO and there was a wine shop across the street if we wanted to run across and buy anything. There were four of us, so we decided to split the panini pizza (two sided, like a sandwich), and the regular pizza. Biga Pizza is unlike other pizza places, in that it emphasizes the healthiness of its dough. I definitely felt that the dough was different from other pizzerias- it was more crusty, light, and not oily, like other pizzas I’ve had here. Both pizzas were not bad, but I would not say they were amazing or recommend to people to come here if it is out of the way. The idea of healthier pizza is nice, and the service and ambience were lovely, but in a city full of amazing pizza places, this one doesn’t quite cut it.

Ernie’s Pool & Darts – Menu with Prices – 815 Forest Ave, Portland

This place, like others have said, is a hidden gem in the Portland area. It’s your basic dive bar with pool, darts, ping pong, cheap beer, and classic rock. There’s nothing fancy here, but you shouldn’t be coming here if you’re looking for fancy. This place excels well in what it tries to do. This place is full of great people. I had the chance to chat with Dona for awhile. Dona is an amazing bartender. She’s down-to-earth and truly makes this place a 5-star dive bar experience. She boasts some really cheap beer ($1.50 Busch drafts) and local craft options (Gritty’s and Geary’s for $3.50). There’s also some food (pizza, meatball sub, etc) available for purchase. And they have an old-school jukebox. Dona told me she does not plan to upgrade to TouchTones, because with the old-school jukebox, you get more plays for less money. It’s full of classic rock, with a couple random country and pop albums thrown in there. And even though it’s located on Forest Ave, parking was a breeze. We got a spot literally by the front door. It beats the downtown parking scene by far. Overall, this place is great for a chill night, especially if you want to avoid the madness downtown. If you like pool, darts, ping pong, cheap beer, and classic rock, look no further!

Mr. Pizza Brick Oven and Tap – Menu with Prices – 3443 Macon Rd, Columbus

My husband and I decided to give this place a try since we are fans of well made pizza. The pizza was alright. The selection of house pizzas were kinda boring with nothing very special about them. We each ordered an 8″ pizza to give two different flavors a try. As we were sitting there we noticed they were advertising on the screens all day Monday buy one adult entrée get one half off with a picture of a pizza, but when we got our bill, we were charged full price for both pizzas. We asked the server about it and she came back to tell us that pizza is not included in that deal. It’s a freaking pizza place and the ad had a picture of a pizza!! Overall not worth $11 for a very small, greasy, boring personal pizza.

Double Play Bakery and Pizza – Menu with Prices – 10431 Lemon Ave Ste F, Rancho Cucamonga

To be fair, I owe the review from this weekend… Happened to be staying at a friends place over the weekend out in Rancho Cucamonga, when a heated game of ping pong turned into a heavier game of where and how to satisfy our late night munchies. However! Despite the ongoing last minute pizza and wing investigation… We did end up tracking down Double Play, which thankfully might have been the only place open past midnight!? We had a pretty large crowd too so we ended up with a sizable order, wings, handful of pizzas, drinks… the real deal Holyfield. I’ll add that they were super cool when placing the order. Ended up costing far less than I’d expected which was pretty nice too. Anyway, delivery arrived ahead of schedule with beautifully crafted pizzas and perfectly crispy wings (Although, they don’t do us justice, photos will follow!) Flavor was insane, as you can clearly tell these guys put love into their craft with delicate perfection! Far higher quality ingredients and attention to detail than you can find from any retail chains or really anywhere these days! The crust was perfect… Very much blown away, we were. So, to my folks looking for a polished late night pizza/wing combo out in Fontana or Rancho, I seriously suggest giving them the call. Only local parlor holding it down past midnight and by far the best in quality.

Blaze Pizza – Menu with Prices – 2348 Citadel Way #101, Melbourne

Blaze Pizza is much like the Chipotle of Pizza. Here you can customize your pizza to your liking. Kudos for having an option for vegans as they offer both vegan cheese & vegan chorizo. There are several signature pizzas w/ popular favorites along w/ calories listed. Probably the most popular choice here is the customizable Build Your Own Pizza. Choose your crust from original, thick crust, or cauliflower crust for gluten-free folks. Several sauces to choose from such as classic red sauce or spicy red sauce. Cheeses including vegan cheese options. etc. I opted for customizable Build Your Own Pizza w/ original crust, spicy red sauce, vegan cheese, vegan chorizo, & unlimited veggies. The toppings here hit the spot as lots of selections for those plant strong folks as the veggie toppings were plentiful, tasty, & nourishing. The pizzas are fast fired in 180 seconds in the oven. Fast, friendly service, & affordable. Found this to be one of the best vegan pizzas I’ve had in a long time for the fresh veggie toppings alone. Felt the crust could have been a bit firmer. The atmosphere pretty similar to dining at a Chipotle yet the vegan pizza hit the spot. I was able to finish the whole pie as was satisfying w/ just the right amount of food. Look forward to subsequent visits here.

Level 1 Game Center – Menu with Prices – Springfield

Great place to kill some time. Offers pool and ping pong for free. Has cheap bowling. Also, free popcorn

Nama Sushi Bar – Cedar Bluff – Menu with Prices – 260 N Peters Rd, Knoxville

Stopped in one night and got a few half priced rolls during “happy hour” to share with my husband. Our kids got the kid pizza to share and ate the whole thing (although $7 for a kid pizza seems quite steep, most restaurants charge $5 or so for kids meals). They love playing with the chopsticks in the chopstick holders they give to kids and liked coloring in the fish and sea creatures on their kid menu. The food came quickly and had good presentation. I got the crunchy shrimp roll (I ate 2, they were $4.50 at half price so $9 for both was pretty decent). My husband got the tempura and another roll I forgot the name of. I liked my crunchy shrimp the best. I was able to pull some of the rice off the outside to give to my 3yo who said she was still hungry after eating her pizza. We received enough wasabi and ginger to go with our rolls without having to ask and the soy sauce was already on the table when we arrived. I would come back again during half priced sushi time but to pay twice as much for what we got would be extremely expensive. I would not be as excited to come during regular price hours which is why I thought 4 stars was a fair rating.

Fong’s on Forest – Menu with Prices – 3018 Forest Ave, Des Moines

Heard about this place the first time I visited Des Moines but wasn’t able to try it because they didn’t deliver or let you take-out whole pizzas after a certain hour. So when I ended up back in Des Moines for another visit this was a top priority of mine. Called in around 11pm for take-out and was happy to hear they were still taking orders. For two 16″ pizzas they said it would take about 30 minutes. When we finally got back to our place to try them out I was very excited. The pizzas are littered with crispy wontons and generously doused with a sweet chili sauce, which takes over your taste buds. In comparison, the crab rangoon base was more difficult to taste, which I found to be a little disappointing. Still good pizza, and definitely worth checking out. I’d be interested to try some of the other unique flavors, but I guess I’ll have to save that for my next trip to Des Moines.

Pizza Hut Express – Menu with Prices – 2056 Skibo Rd, Fayetteville

Usually every time I go to Target, I stop in at the Pizza Hut Express. I have never had a reason to complain. The pizza has always been excellent. Yesterday I was in Fayetteville and my daughter wanted to stop by Target to do some shopping and of course wanted pizza. We finished our shopping and decided to get the pizzas to go. I ordered three, two pepperoni and a cheese. When we got home and started eating the pizzas, we found that all three pizzas did not have pizza sauce on them. We tried to eat them anyway, but they just did not taste the same. We were very disappointed.
