I’m not surprised by all the negative feedback. **Beware of writing one star reviews for this store, because they are verbally attacking those of us who are giving them poor reviews. On the first week of opening, my friend took a snapshot of the long line. I love to try new places. So we all went. We came at 9PM. The store says it closes at 10PM. We walked in, there were lots of people. There were 6 workers, and not one of them welcome us. BAD Finally one girl decided to ask us, are you with them? (a big family of about 10 people at the table) No, we are not with them. Oh, then sorry, were sold out. what the hell? sold out? we were just standing there lost and confused. ok, if you’re sold out, why is your door still open? then more people started coming in, and they were serving them. My friends and I was like, WTF. Turns out, the owners and his/her family were having a party or something, and they kept all the extra drinks to serve the family. BAD customer service. Serioulsy? you think the owner and his family is the main income of the company? Uh, no. The customers are the income. The customers are king. You lose customers, you lose the income. 50% of the company is based on customer service. The other 50% is base on quality of the food/drink. Right away, you already have bad customer service, you lost. In my head, I can already predict the downfall of this company, and I have not been wrong for the last 8 companies that closed. Here’s some advice: 1. don’t celebrate early. no kidding. don’t do it during work hours. If you put 10pm, you work until 10pm. Even if a customer comes at 9:55 and you close, you lose. A good store would even open up for a customer coming at 10:10. That going the extra mile for your customer will make them appreciate your kindness. But you did it the other way around. I came in at 9pm and you said sold out while serving other people, that’s so BAD. 2. Don’t have the I don’t care mentality in business. This is America, that means, if you’re thinking, “Oh it’s just one customer, if he/she don’t like, they can leave.” Trust me, it only takes 1 customer to spread the fire; and it looks like your company is already on fire. **Beware of writing one star reviews for this store, because they are verbally attacking those of us who are giving them poor reviews. Got a threat message and look at the owner’s comment below, lol.

New York Butcher Shoppe – Menu with Prices – 1500 Woodrow St, Columbia

I went to this establishment base on the reviews. Unlike previous comments on how friendly the staff, I went into the store with my family today. There were not any customers in the store. A gentlemen and young teenager were working. We were not greeted nor were we acknowledged of being in the store. I said ” something smells good to the workers” , no comment. I said ” I see that your smoked wings are your special, no comment. Giving them the benefit of the doubt, I said” I would like to see your wings”, the gentlemen said “there they are”. I do not appreciate their customer service. I understand an establishment has the right to greet and extent their degree of customer service to whom they like, just as I have the freedom to write this comment and choose not to spend my money at this establishment. My rating is zero but you must give an establishment one star to post. So, I guest this store front got a star for this review.

Ray’s Market – Menu with Prices – 225 E Weber Ave, Stockton

Ray’s a great guy,! He’s a caring man with a very good sense of humor! I sometimes pop into his store just to say hello when passing by. I shop at Ray’s Market often for sweets and snacks and cold drinks which Ray has a good selection of. He also has many low cost items, keeping in mind that many of us in the area are lower income/low income seniors. If you are new to the area go into Ray’s Market and meet the man, you’ll like him and what his store has to offer.

Boar?s Head Provisions Co., Inc. – Menu with Prices – 1819 Main St #800, Sarasota

A Company To Avoid: It is with great regret and anger that Boar’s Head @Boars_Head #boarshead deli meats will not be carried at Nii Superette because its local distributor, Island Food Services, “respectfully” believes that my customers cannot afford its price point. Over the phone and pressed for more reasons, this was the ONLY reason, Ian Scott, was willing to express. Mr Scott’s vetting process is to secretly go to the store and “observe.” No courtesy to schedule appointment or physically greet owners/management. No sales data, financial / credit histories or conversations were discussed with owners, employees, customers or staff. All decisions were based on the visual impression of an alleged single visit. When elevated to Boar’ s Head corporate, their service rep, Ali, told me that the company wholeheartedly and confidently supports their decision to “respect” and “honor” their distributors. Boar’s Head will not intercede to correct the actions of their distributor. Ali at #boarshead informed me that if we were able to “change” our store and make the “modifications” based on Mr. Scott’s feedback, Boar’s Head would happily provide us with product. Let me make myself perfectly clear: MY CUSTOMERS DONT REQUIRE CHANGE OR MODIFICATION!!!! Feel free to share this information, so that all may make an informed shopping decision. #boycottworthy #mycustomersarethebestcustomers #deplorablebehavior #skittlesalert #shareaway #racialprofiling #unfoundeddiscrimination #waipahuproud

Momentum Coffee – Menu with Prices – 3555 Rayford Rd #10, Spring

This place is a must EVERY time I come home to visit. The coffee is great and the food is great. Except today….hence the 3 star review. Customer service. I walk in and they have ONE person running the counter, drive thru and producing drinks. I get it’s a Tuesday and business can be slow during midweek and one person running the whole show can slide. I know how it gets, Ive been a barista. So, I’m patient. But, when the poor girl has a line of 5 deep, 2 cars in drive thru, and still has to make drinks for patrons who previously ordered….shes going to need help. What got me heated was while all of this was happening, there are 3 Owners(I sure hope it wasnt), managers or employees sitting in the corner chatting(or having a mtg….frankly, as a customer, dont know, dont care) and seeing their girl starting to drown, do absolutely nothing. Yet, one of the guys in a tie dye shirt just keeps glancing over at the line as it builds, still do…..wait for it…. nothing. He finally decides to make moves and help the poor girl after I was giving him a stare down. Then the dude finally walks up, asks if I’m waiting for drinks or food, I needed to step to the side counter. I told him that I was actually waiting to be helped and he rudely replied, “Well….I’m right here” DONT ever talk to a customer in that manner or tone. Customer Service is what keeps what makes a business thrive. There are plenty of coffee shops around here but Great customer service is what makes customers return for your coffee. That’s why I kept coming back. I hope the next time I’m in town the customer service is better.

The Village Store – Menu with Prices – 1145 Rosecrans St, San Diego

The Village Liquor Store better known in our house as the greatest store on earth. Really can’t say enough great things about this store. I have been going to this store for 15 years and have never had a bad experience there. I was a little worried when the new owners took over, when Bill retired, however Steve and family took over and made the store even better than before. I go to this store pretty much daily and they are all so welcoming and helpful. Steve is always willing to order anything you want if it isn’t already there. They really treat me like family , yet they are very professional. I really enjoy talking to all of them and love the way they are such a tight knit family. They have made the store look amazing and have all kinds of new tasting opportunities . The Village Store has always been great and has only gotten better with the new owners . The entire family Chris , Steve , Nick and , the girls , are definitely a great part of the Point Loma community .

Your Wholesome Foods – Menu with Prices – 159 Essex St, New York

The owners of this store take advantage of customers in a very vile manner. Came in yesterday and bought a cool new CBD drink by VYBES in a peach ginger flavor for $7.99 each. I loved it so much & hadn’t seen it sold near my hood in Gramercy so I checked Yelp and saw they delivered. Wonderful news, right? However… Called to place the order and they delivered me 3 bottles this evening. When the delivery man hands me the receipt, each bottle says $9.50 plus tax. EXCUSE ME? I know exactly what the owners were doing and it’s up-charging a customer just because he feels like it. The delivery man called the store and the owner says it’s fine just let her have it for $7.99, I declined to keep or pay for the drinks because I won’t give my business to any store that is owned by greedy, dishonest men. You could’ve made a lottttt of money from me guys. But instead, you thought I was a dummy. I’ll order VYBES by the case straight from their website from now on. I was trying to support local businesses for god sakes! Shame on Your Wholesome Foods.

Volcano Tea House – Menu with Prices – 2111 Sawtelle Blvd, Los Angeles

I loved Volcano Tea but no longer. The employees there seem not to care about customers anymore. This is VERY RARE from a Japanese Culture type of eatery because every other eatery on Sawtelle is kind and compassionate and NEVER insulting or taking back to customers but this guy (see pic) not only needs to learn to be kind and compassionate to customers BUT also needs to adjust his condescending attitude! He made me feel as if it was my mistake and then on top of it he CHARGED me additional even when it was his mistake. I explained that it was his fault and he didn’t care and argued that he doesn’t make errors and made me feel like crap. How does it feel to eat/drink your meals when an employee and also company like Volcano tea treats it’s customers like crap which is totally counter intuitive to Japanese Culture. SHAME on Volcano and I hope you guys are happy charging me extra for your errors because I’m taking my business somewhere else. Think about it: You made $1.30 more off YOUR ERRORS and not only do you have an upset customer BUT you have lost a customer. It all adds up because other reviews are experiencing the same thing. It’s only a matter of time that this company will eventually FAIL and the owner can decide if treating their loyal customers were worth treating us like crap! Business live and die on Yelp reviews and from what I read, there is a downward trend and hope you guys enjoyed your run but it’s time to listen to what your customers are saying and CHANGE or fail.

Bento Sushi – Menu with Prices – 155 Clarke Rd, London

ol so if youre in the east end and want sushi this is like a tiny japanese restaurant in a grocery store but WOW that rice be puffy and perfect. i ate the family size

Red Chair Catering – Menu with Prices – 3944 Pembroke Rd, Hollywood

So, I found this company on gig salad and after receiving a really good quote and immediately clicking with Jessica I decided to go with them. Our company has a lot of different people so it’s safe to say we drove them crazy with all the menu changes, but not once did Jessica lose her cool with us or change her customer service quality. Then comes the event date, Jessica couldn’t make it so she sent Doug and HE WAS AMAZING. He was funny, the crowd loved him, and he was very friendly. The food was delicious and all the staff was amazing and detail oriented. Not once did they leave trash on a table or anything out of place. I am definitely using them again.

Seoul Soon Tofu – Menu with Prices – 3191 W Colonial Dr, Orlando

Was not easy debating the stars to give this place but I don’t feel like it’s a five star store. It needs some improvements for sure, because I have definitely been to better Asian markets in Florida. If you haven’t been to a lot of Asian markets, especially Korean ones, this place will seem awesome to you but I promise you there are better ones than this. I enjoyed my bibimbap that I had at the little food court off to the right when you first come in. I got a lot of food and it tasted great. The food court was lively and poppin which is a good sign. My mom had sundubu jigae which was also good. I was able to find a table right away. I did have to swat at a few flies quite a few times so I think they need to take some extra measures to prevent the flies from coming in. I also saw flies flying around while walking through the aisles and even saw dead ones lying on products. Not good. I also saw quite a few opened products lying around. I didn’t really like the low and dreary lighting. It felt very drab and depressing. The aisles also had a lot of boxes and carts lying around with no one attending them. It was difficult maneuvering around them especially with other customers around. There were also very few workers around to ask questions if you needed to and some even seemed unwilling to answer questions. This store definitely doesn’t put any emphasis on customer service. There was one young girl who was happy to help me find the price of one item though. Also, even though this is called Lotte Plaza (Lotte Corporation is a major corporation in S. Korea), it’s not really a “Korean” theme grocery store. It has other Asian products and many of the workers could not speak Korean. It is no different than any other general Asian grocery store. Also keep in mind this store is in a very low income neighborhood. It’s definitely not a very exciting town to be in…
