This place is a hodgepodge of sorts. It is completely enclosed by iron bars and security. The one bouncer when we first came in was super friendly and welcoming but then it slowly trickled downhill from there. There is a fairly large beer selection which is a plus but the staff is less than helpful and don’t seem to really know about the beers they offer. It seems like more of a concession stand. Walking toward the back, there is another smaller bar (didn’t go over to that one) and about 5 food vendors. The food didn’t appeal to me but others seemed to be enjoying them. There was a mediocre dj playing oddly mixed music that did nothing to help the atmosphere. There are also a few large games placed around the facility. This place is extremely kid friendly and there were many. I even saw an older gentleman drop an entire Michelada on a baby in a stroller. Now on to what we were really there for. The beer. My husband had the Summer Vibes lager and I had the Dublin Blues Nitro stout. He liked his beer enough and mine was ok but pretty underwhelming. Also, our beer was served in a plastic cup… if you want to show off the flavors of your beers, a nice, appropriate glass for the type of beer served is a must. This again points to this place being more of a concession stand than a brewery. We certainly didn’t try enough beers to really get a good sense of the tastes as we decided to leave just as a ton of families showed up. Let’s recap: Customer service: 5/10 Beer: 5/10 Food choice/availability: 7/10 DJ: 2/10 Ambience: 5/10 All in all, this place is ok but I don’t think we will be coming back.

Half Barrel Beer Project – Menu with Prices – 9650 Universal Blvd #143, Orlando

I was staying on I-Drive out by Disney for the weekend and discovered a new craft beer bar that I had not yet had an opportunity to check out, and man was it worth it to do so. The atmosphere was very laid back with plenty of seating options, and they even have a world map where you can pin where you are from. They have an expansive draft list including their own beers and guest beers, and everything on tap were high quality beers and a unique selection of beers you wouldn’t normally find on tap elsewhere. They also have a large selection of canned on bottled beers which can be enjoyed in the tap room or taken to go (beers taken to go are given a $1 or $2 discount depending on their tier). The staff (Wesley, Chad, and Anthony) were extremely friendly and we had a lot of fun chatting with them about different beers and about different breweries and craft beer bars in the area and the rest of the state. They were able to recommend several beers to try in the tap room, as well as a few we took home. I was very impressed with their own beers that I tried from them (including a NEIPA, an imperial stout, and a brown ale). I was also really enjoyed the guest sour beers they recommended for me to try. If you enjoy craft beer, and finding local places to go I definitely recommend checking out Half Barrel if you are in the Orlando area. I really enjoyed my time here and will be coming back next time I’m in town. Cheers!

Utepils Brewing – Menu with Prices – 225 Thomas Ave N #700, Minneapolis

I’ll probably get some s**** for this. I personally thought the beer was ok. Nothing about it was a “wow” factor. I did the flight because I’ve never had this beer and then from there went to individual beers. Maybe is all the beer people consume that its. It a thought but it’s an ok beer. Now I did try the dey Irish beer and yeah it wasn’t that great either. Most I’d the beers seriously felt like I was just trying beers from other breweries. The one beer I wanted to try was not available and I’m going to try and go back and get one. Over all the atmosphere is great, very spacious and enough room to walk around and not bump into anyone….but that’s about it. Now this is my opinion on the beer because I enjoy a good beer. I know so much goes into making a batch but maybe itll get better.

Ozone’s Brewhouse – Menu with Prices – 305 Beaver St, Lansing

Pros: beer ranging from average to good, large taplist, location Cons: no great beers, take the pizza off the picture yelp I enjoyed my time at ozones. I made small talk with the patrons and bar tenders. Everyone seemed really friendly and nice. How can you not when you are in the presence of tvs showing wheel of fortune. Everyone likes staring at spinny things and wondering what the plastic faces of game show host relics would feel like if you could touch them. Plus they got those cool lights up. They turn any establishment or backyard concrete slab into a hip hangout. I really like the warm or fall weather ambiance of this place. In the winter I suspect it will lose alittle of that luster. I’ll help the bartender out here. There is NO pizza served. She was perplexed as to why people were calling up and placing pizza orders. I think that one is on us Yelp! They used to have pizza but the company moved to another brewery. I tried that pizza though and you should try and hunt it down, its good. As for the beer it was all good. I ordered about six small pours. The ipas were tasty. The best was a barrel aged quad i believe. I like going to places and seeing barrel aged beers available. The benchmark for a great brewery is having those beers i really want to take home. I did not experience that here. While everything was good nothing stuck out as great. In closing, definitely scope this place out. They have tasty beer, good times, and a great location for other restaurants and bars. I’ll be back but wont be getting the shakes from not being there.

The Habitap – Menu with Prices – 1325 Miller Rd, Greenville

Habitap has a lot of good things going for them but also things they could improve on. When you walk in you go straight to ordering your food and drinks, or you can sit at the bar and order there. I got the burger but was surprised they have plain old American cheese on a brisket and short rib meat patty. It ended up being overcooked and dry, not enough sauce either, so I dipped it in the beer cheese I got with my tots. The tots on their own are really good, reminded me of the tots at Local Cue or Universal Joint. I ordered at the same time as my friend but her food came out 10 minutes earlier than mine did, so I just sat there waiting for a long time. I wish they had put them on the same ticket even though we paid separately. I also wish they had water glasses out with the utensils and napkins. They have 50 beers and wines on tap with a few different ones to choose from for each type. I wish the beer selection was a little better though, nothing really grabbed my attention to try and I feel like a lot of places in Greenville offer the same beers. I ended up getting a kolsh that was good and very easy drinking. The decor inside is nice, although they could use some acoustic panels to help with the noise on the inside. It was so loud I couldn’t hear my friend talking across from me. The outside space is large and I’d like to try visiting again with my dog to sit out there. I think a lot of people would like this place, it just didn’t stand out to me in comparison with other taphouses I have visited.

Subway Restaurants – Menu with Prices – Little Creek Shoppes, 3858 E Little Creek Rd Space 21, Norfolk

Hated it went in with a good mood left without it. I went to order my sandwich and asked for my spinage to be added before it gets toasted [i like the chesse melted on it] to which the lady with the noes ring rolled her eyes i was confused but didnt say anything about it. She walked off and finished another customers sandwhich and when she came and set mine up i mentioned “the spinage will need to be covered cause it will burn” after seeing she placed it on its own side rather then under the cheese she snaps at me saying she knows and they dont ussualy do it this way then picked up all the meat and cheese and flopped them on the spinage side. I have PTSD from a incident in my teen years and at that point her snapping at me made my heart rate increase and i cassualy asked my boyfriend for the car keys to “get my phone” wich was just so i could go outside for a sec to calm my heart rate. Went back in and luckily he was done with her and handed me my cup i went over and was annoyed again seeing no tea of any kind i dont drink soda and reluctantly got viatamin water. Went to sit and eat unhappily i came in excited and happy to eat before going to the garden nearby but left in a less then happy mood i get it was easter and she probbaly didnt want to be there but the way she acts was NOT acceptable and made me not only have a episode but wrened my day.

Hop Valley Brewing Co – Menu with Prices – 990 W 1st Ave, Eugene

My dad wanted to visit a brewery and try some beer samples while in Portland. Unfortunately we didn’t have the time, so we figured we’d find one that offers beer flights at a reasonable price. I browsed through the many breweries in Eugene, Oregon and came across Hop Valley. They seemed pretty legitimate (from the little I know about beer), and seeing how they make their own beers (in those giant machines?) this place was worth a shot. The brewery is actually relatively large with a ton of parking. We came during off hours on a weekday afternoon and there was a good amount of people. I like how they have an open window that allows you to see all the machinery. The workers were friendly and super helpful as they helped us get started and answered our absurd questions that my sister and I had. You can order flights in 6, 9, or 12 selections. They have a selection of beers on tap that they rotate out every so often. Since I am not a beer connoisseur by any means, their menu with a short blurb describing the beer really helped us out a lot. So we went with 9 beers to try. I believe the price was a dollar something for each one, making it a very affordable flight. Tried the vanilla infused porter, purple cole, bubble stash, mango stash, citrus mistress, hefe, hop valley blonde, reveal, and charmin’ swine. I have to admit that after trying every single sampler, I’ve come to the conclusion that I don’t like beer. And if I ever feel inclined to drink it, I’d prefer something that was sweeter and not so bitter. I think I enjoyed the lighter and fruitier beers. They all began to blend together and taste the same, but I think I really liked reveal and hefe. The beers were served in a cute leaf tray where there were numbers that corresponded to the numbers of the list that you wrote down for the beer. That way you can keep track of what you’ve tried. tl;dr – A good selection of beer and the flight is a great deal. Even though I don’t personally enjoy beer, I thought it was a nice way to end our Oregon trip.

The Blue Coyote – Menu with Prices – 5500 University Pkwy, San Bernardino

It’s not bad, but I would stay away from the food, not usually the best , the tacos are alright at a $1 a taco. The cashier/ servers are usually friendly and sometimes pour the beer just right, and if they don’t , They usually accommodate with a trial of another beer. They have about 6-8 beers on draft and I believe carry some cider beers as well. Too bad they don’t have a tip jar, come on management, get with it.

Community Pint – Menu with Prices – 120 E Sprague Ave, Spokane

No crap beer here! Finally got a chance to stop by! I have looked at their beer list on Untapped and finally said “I’m stopping”. Great options for beer here. Should be able to find something for everyone, unless you happen to just like the canned water that is passed off as beer….you won’t find that here. What you will find are many craft beers from the PNW that you may not find on tap elsewhere in the area. They also have a selection of cans and bottles. If you want one of the beers on tap to go, they have a canner there as well. Staff was very friendly and knew about the beers. Great place to stop after work! Music could have been a little better. A little loud and not to my liking, but hey, I am getting older…Get off my lawn! I’ll be back!

Nana’s Pie Kitchen – Menu with Prices – 1808 Clovis Rd, Lubbock

I like coming to the flea market and have even consider opening a little stand there. But today, was a bad experience. I know not all vendors are like this. I have been going to buy old magazines from one of the shed vendors for a few weekends in a row. I came today, bought some and bought some of the empty plastic bags he had for magazines . Well, the vendor then saidâ?â? letâ??s not do this shit againâ?. Because I wanted to buy the plastic covers and I told him I had put the boo

Sal’s Pizza – Menu with Prices – 6773 Carnelian St, Rancho Cucamonga

Best pizza around the Rancho Cucamonga area I have found! Tried it for the first time, I ordered the XL 2 topping pizza for $23! Slices were huge, they were very generous with the toppings and it tasted delicious!! I normally just eat 1 or 2 “small” slices, like pizza hut sizes, but this pizza was so good I ate 4! And the slices were big I couldve been full with 1! I didnt get to take a photo, I was too hungry! They dont accept debit/credit so be warned of that and its not a sot down restaurant, they’re just a store front. But this is perfect to call ahead and pick up for an amazing dinner! Dont waste time with fast food pizza when you can have the real thing! I will be coming back!

Rowdy’s Brew Co. – Menu with Prices – 10002 6th St A, Rancho Cucamonga

Rowdy’s is my FAVORITE brewery ever!!!! Brace yourselves, a long and thought out review is coming! Alan and John are some of the best people I have ever met! My first time at Rowdy’s was in 2017, and they had some awesome beers on tap! Fast forward to 2019, I remembered Rowdy’s and decided to check them out again. Greeted by Alan and he explained a lot of different things to us and made us feel comfortable there. Needless to say the rest is history, John and Alan will always go into detail about their beers and their brand. If you ask they’ll show you around and give you the whole scoop. Their selections of beers are different, but cater to all your hoppy needs. They have a variety of different stouts, IPAs, Belgians, etc. If you want a good beer to start off the night, I’d suggest their flagship, the Overgold. If you’re looking for something in the middle that’s not too high in ABV, but still flavorful I would try my personal favorite, the All I Need. All of their beers have the IBUs (international bitterness units) listed so you can try to get a feel for the beer before you try. No splashes of beer offered here, but their beer is so good you don’t need it. Thank you Rowdy’s crew for the badass beers and awesome hospitality. You have lifelong supporters now.

Spaghetti Warehouse Menu with Prices 510 S Main St bldg 33, Akron

Nope. Not even a little bit with this place. I’ve lived in Akron most of my adult life and had never been here. We needed a venue that could accommodate about 10-15 people for my birthday dinner and somehow this place was booked. As soon as we parked we realized what we were in store for. Overweight slobs in their finest sweat pants rambling out the front door. Some 20 year old Ford parked across the pickup food parking spot and the handicapped parking spot (no handicapped tag). Upon entering we were greeted with what appeared to be leftover games from an old Chuck-e-Cheese’s; skeeball, air hockey, and more. Bubble gum machines and a candy counter vis-a-vis a movie theater concession stand was in front of the hostess stand. The carped it there is black and dirty as tar and doesn’t look like it’s been cleaned since Reagan was President. Unpolished brass bars, warehouse-high ceilings adorned with kitsch crap, a life sized trolly car you could eat in INSIDE the restaurant, and more skeeball tables further in. For the life of me I can’t figure out where there are so many security camera globes hanging from the ceiling as if we were in a Tiffany’s! We waited until the rest of our leery party arrived and the waiter seemed to be very overwhelmed when he had to give us the draft beer list; of four beers. I stopped listening after Coors Light. We all basically ordered waters and made up an excuse to leave and left immediately. Am I a snob? Possibly. But the Olive Garden is light years beyond this place. I will never be back here for any occasion whatsoever. There is no way the food coming out of that kitchen could be good.
