If you go into this Timmy’s as a walk-in customer you’re going to have to make ‘vroom vroom’ noises because the staff have an obvious bias towards the drive-thru traffic. The first time I came in here the place wasn’t very busy inside at all. There was one guy already in line waiting to give his order. The staff ignored him as they scurried about serving the drive-thru peoples. I don’t know how long he had been there but eventually one of the servers happened to look over and said, “Oh hey!–didn’t see you there. What can I get you?” I thought maybe the front door had just been installed and the staff weren’t used to the concept of customers getting up off their asses, walking upright, entering the store, and placing an order at the counter. Anyway, fast forward to my second visit: This time there’s no customers in the store–should go quick, right? No. There’s three staff members primping and posing for the drive-thru and ignoring walk-ins once again. It’s as if they were American Idol contestants and Simon Cowell was at the window. Waiting . . . waiting . . . waiting . . . and finally, “Oh hey!–didn’t see you there. What can I get you?” Also, you need a degree in engineering to understand the layout of the parking lot. When you enter the lot you’re immediately in the path of the cars exiting the drive-thru lane. I don’t know who designed this layout but they’re obviously a demolition derby fan. Enter at your own risk. Why three stars? Because once the staff wake up and acknowledge you they’re actually quite pleasant. If it weren’t for my addiction to double-doubles and Tim-Bits, I’d never come here.

Taqueria Maravatio – Menu with Prices – 2618 W 59th St, Chicago

i honestly used to come here all the time their food is delicious but i must say, lately the service has been horrible. the girls there waitress and cashier have horrible attitudes. i understand we are human and sometimes we all have those bad days. but if youre going to work in a field in which you need to be a people person and have good customer service skills, you need to be able to put on a happy face when greeting a customer and serving them appropriately. not once did these girls come to our table to see if we needed anything. not once did they ask how our service was or our food. we had to get up 3 times walk to them to get something we needed utensils, a cup and our to go container. it also seemed as if they were rushing us out. when i got up to get a cup she handed me my receipt and total.. uummmm we werent done eating and she wanted me to pay already. they were speaking pretty loud to each other it was obvious they were speaking about us because they were cursing! so unprofessional. i honestly felt horrible because i took a friend with me and on the way i was telling her it was one of my favorite spots. we will not be returning. due to their unprofessional services and how disrespectful they were to us! i hope this review helps them realize they need to be equal to everyone when servicing them. polite and professional. instead of stocking the soda and cleaning out the coffee machine take a few minutes to walk to yiur customers table and ask how their food is. is there anything they need. and if there is something you didnt like about your customers save it until they are out the door. it makes you and the business look horrible.

First Watch – Durham – Menu with Prices – 5307 New Hope Commons Blvd Ext, Durham

Probably the rudest waiter i’ve ever had, middle-of-the-road food couldnt save the poor service. Decided to go somewhere new on saturday morning. Coming into the restaurant we were received with a mild greeting and seated. Our waiter arrived and asked what we’d like to drink. No welcome, no greeting, if there were specials we didnt hear about them, he did not even give his name. Because i dont have his name I can only say that he was working 7/6/19 at some point between 12 and 2 pm, was tall, overweight, slicked back short black curly hair, and he had a face like he didnt want to be there. he was waiting tables in the booth area near the windows away from the front door. We ordered our drinks, hot cocoa for them and I order sweet tea. He came back a few minutes later and wordlessly dropped them on the table, the water glasses were on the table, they remained unfilled. I was with my wife, mother-in-law and her aunt, english is not their first language and they are very picky eaters. They spent about 5 minutes reading the menu before he came by and asked what we were ordering.. I look over and my mother in law is literally in the process of squinting at the menu when he asks us this.. My wife is still reading a menu and her aunt still has one in her face as well.. no one had a menu on the table, no one was staring around idly, no one flagged him down, in no way shape or form was there a cue for him to ask us our order.. dude didnt even ask if we needed more time or had questions.. because theyre foreign theyre often uncomfortable ordering food, my wife hurries both of them through the menu while the waiter essentially stands there with an irritated demeanor and toe-taps. he takes the order and hes gone. I couldnt follow his interactions with the other tables but they didnt look like they were any better. what makes it worse is he didnt seem all that busy or rushed, while that doesnt excuse his behavior, it would have at least made it understandable. our drinks ran out and shortly after, our food arrived and it was pushed onto our table. if there was a utensil, cup, hand, cell phone, purse, whatever on the table, it was shoved out of the way by a plate.. at this point it was comical how much this dude did not give a damn. the plates were shoved onto the table and he was gone. The hot cocoa cups were empty, the water glasses still werent filled, and my tea was just ice. No drink refills, no mid-meal check up. He came by, asked if we would be splitting our check and that was the last of him. oh yeah, i forgot about the food.. Overall the food was “okay” but completely forgettable.. hell, ill only remember this place cause the waiter was a terrible host..

Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen – Menu with Prices – 311 S Rosemead Blvd, Pasadena

This place need to hire a new manager. I get here at 930(online shows closes at 11pm) I see a line of 5 people waiting for orders. I stand waiting at register for at least 15 mins. Now while im waiting to just get my order taken. I see who I presume is the manager on duty (guy in blue shirt) he is walking back and forth mumbling to himself. Knocking down paper and trays. Complaining that its too busy and saying (dont these people know we close at 10) Does this guys really not want business. Or maybe he just didnt want to work or he doesn’t like his job. I got a sense that the rest of the staff seemed afraid that this manager was going to snap at any second. Now I’m still waiting and this manager calls my name. He says all I have is this(points finger at what’s left in chicken.) Ask if I want that or want what I ordered? Um of course I want what I ordered. This is now another 20 mins after I ordered. He is saying it’s going to be another 20 mins , since they have to make it. I said I’ll wait. He then tells me to go wait outside, because the lobby is closed. Why leave when other customers are still sitting and eating. By the way there are 2 other customers after me. And he wants us all to leave because the lobby is closed. No I dont thinks so. This guys is being such a tool. He is still complaining that all day they had 5 customers and now the customers wont stop coming in. Doesn’t he know that it’s a good thing to be busy and make money. Still the other staff looks unsure on what to do . Not wanting this manager to go crazy. This guys still wont shut up, this whole time complaining and in a bad mood. Still waiting Still waiting Still waiting It’s now 50 mins after is showed up and my orders done , the manager dissapeared for about 15-20mins. He Comes out when I’m leaving and looks around still complaining. The other worker is at least apologetic about wait. By the the signs still says open and there still taking drive thru orders. And the lady after me is still waiting too. This is a long review because I had time to write this since im waited 50 mins because this manager doesn’t know how to manage. Tip to owner of store. Get rid of this guy. He makes customers not want to come back. I will drive the other way next time just to avoid his attitude and wait

Scooter’s Coffee – Menu with Prices – 5 Old 63 S, Columbia

I usually go to Starbucks on Broadway which I hate becausr ya know so i made a point to go to scooters. I asked for a medium mocha, the drive thru girl asked if i wanted that hot or cold. In my head i remember thinking why do they even ask that when it’s -15 °F and told her hot. When i got to the window they handed me a cold mocha, which looked great but not what i asked for. Usually I would live with the mistake cause i HATE making service industry people do more work that necessary (im a waitress) but i decided I would be unhappy if i didnt voice the error because just to clarify, I really wanted a hot mocha. I say it in the nicest, shyest, we all make mistakes sorta way as to make sure she didnt get upset or annoyed. The drive thru window girl then proceeded to disagree with me I said cold, almost argue…which was just awkward and i tried to give the mocha back that i hadnt even pulled through my window and she refused which i understand for health code but i wasn’t trying to get a cold mocha so it makes sense I would try to give it back. Scooters then does remake the hot mocha, but they had the manager give it to me and nobody said youre welcome when i said thank you or sorry, just “yup”. Pretty rude and i wouldn’t go back because the Starbucks on Broadway weirdly goes out of their way to be extra friendly and accomodating. And the prices are the same but they arent rude, EVER and i consider this starbucks super superior to any ive been to. Scooters made their own coffee taste bad to me, bad enough to leave this review. And with Starbucks right their, a giant competitor, I would have thought harder about how to treat customers in that manner. Won’t be going back! Hope they dont make you feel like human trash for telling them of their own mistakes in the nicest way possible!

Logan Farms Honey Glazed Hams Menu with Prices 3851 S Sherwood Forest Blvd Suite #9, Baton Rouge

Okay so, I ordered from their place on the 17th and I’m not happy with the service that was provided towards me. The staff were very unfriendly, and I could hear one of the staff comment about my hair and I felt ostracized as a customer there. Not to mention after receiving my order I was eyed up and down by the girl behind the counter. Now i understand people may have bad days but i cant understand why this behavior was displayed towards me. I was having a hard time choosing my order. I suppose that made her frustrated but it’s a workplace! I dont understand how these people train their employees. I believe I had seen the manager in the back and they saw the attitude given towards me but nothing was done to stop the lady at the register. I just paid and left. I’m never going to return to the place and I strongly will not reccomend it to anyone. There has to be a change in the way they speak to their customers and treat them. Regardless of our ethnicities or way of dressing! The food tasted sour for some reason, I had to throw it out. I’m not quite sure what made it taste like that but I’m really hoping they did not play around with my order…

Birdie Bowl & Juicery – Menu with Prices – 3313 Hyland Ave, Costa Mesa

Came here during my lunch with my coworkers and enjoyed every minute of it! Very refreshing and filling as well! Its a nice break from all the grease and fried food i was eating and i felt so healthy after eating it even though im def not LOL please give this place a try sometime if you love acai bowls! Pros: – Staff is very friendly here! She was really patient with me when I was ordering my food! her friend was the customer before me and they were talking for a while but i didnt mind and she kept apologizing to me for that so it was awesome of her for being aware of that but tbh, i didnt mind! – Theyre menu has everything for everyone! you can definitely find something here for you that youd like and you can also do add ons as well! I ordered the Pitaya colada but i subbed the pitaya for acai! i LOVE toasted coconuts in my acai bowls and cranola as well so this bowl was screaming my name! – When you pick up your order, they have extra toppings at the station too! They have agave, brown sugar and honey! I LOOOVE honey on my bowls so i kept coming back after eating each layer of my bowl. a lot of places don’t offer this but i appreciated that birdie has this for their customers! Mehs: – i wish my bowl was a little bit sweeter! maybe its because im the most unhealthiest person in the world but i got tired of my bowl after a while because it wasnt sweet enough! Cons: None

Fusion Lounge – Menu with Prices – 6915 Dixie Rd #4, Mississauga

My boyfriend & I have been regulars at fusion for quite sometime now, the staff is amazing. The service is even better. Ive been to the other sisha lounge in brampton just to see the difference and fusion was by far a better option, heck we left after 30 minutes & went to fusion instead. I was there about 2 weeks ago now & when we went to get up and pay I literally fainted and fell to the ground. The staff was awesome, the owner sat with me ans explained that it was ok and its happened before because of course I was embrassed. As soon as I woke up theyre was a pop in my face and the owner did not let us leave until he felt like I would be okay and I just wanted to give a huge thank you to the owner and the staff at fusion lounge for theyre outstanding service everytime. This is always my go to spot to hang out with friends. 10/10 recommended

Tibet Bowl & Sushi – Menu with Prices – 50 Main St, Salt Lake City

Sad to say this place is pretty terrible, i love nepalese food especially momo, unfortunately every component of the momo was bad, the dumpling shell was too thick and bread-y tasting, the meat filling had an offputting old tinge taste to it, and the sauce although it smelled excellent didnt have much flavor to it at all and was kinda creamy like tikka masala sauce or something, i didnt try the sushi but that should have been the red flag from the get go, sushi and nepalese food do not go together just like sushi and chinese food dont go together how do people not understand this!!!

Clay Oven Indian Cuisine – Menu with Prices – 7696 W Irlo Bronson Memorial Hwy, Kissimmee

We called into here during our stay in Florida over the Xmas period 2018. I really didnt like the look of the place when we entered any nearly walked out. Its not a good look when you enter tables not made up stuff everywhere and unresponsive staff who could barely brake into a smile. The place looks untidy but the rest of my party said it had got good reviews. We ordered our food-staff very expressionless. When the food came it was piping hot and the portions where huge and it tasted good. They were so big in fact we couldnt eat them all and we took the remains of them home in a container which we ate the next day. I cant recall all the time there a member of staff talking to us just very weak smiles. So to some up the food is good and portion sizes huge but dont think id eat in again here maybe a takeaway next time.

Subway Restaurants – Menu with Prices – Little Creek Shoppes, 3858 E Little Creek Rd Space 21, Norfolk

Hated it went in with a good mood left without it. I went to order my sandwich and asked for my spinage to be added before it gets toasted [i like the chesse melted on it] to which the lady with the noes ring rolled her eyes i was confused but didnt say anything about it. She walked off and finished another customers sandwhich and when she came and set mine up i mentioned “the spinage will need to be covered cause it will burn” after seeing she placed it on its own side rather then under the cheese she snaps at me saying she knows and they dont ussualy do it this way then picked up all the meat and cheese and flopped them on the spinage side. I have PTSD from a incident in my teen years and at that point her snapping at me made my heart rate increase and i cassualy asked my boyfriend for the car keys to “get my phone” wich was just so i could go outside for a sec to calm my heart rate. Went back in and luckily he was done with her and handed me my cup i went over and was annoyed again seeing no tea of any kind i dont drink soda and reluctantly got viatamin water. Went to sit and eat unhappily i came in excited and happy to eat before going to the garden nearby but left in a less then happy mood i get it was easter and she probbaly didnt want to be there but the way she acts was NOT acceptable and made me not only have a episode but wrened my day.

Avenue Downtown – Menu with Prices – 10888 Jasper Ave, Edmonton

Im giving it two stars because i actually never made it into the bar which was super disappointing due to the bouncers picking and choosing who got to go in, it was a super cold night, i was standing in line with my boyfriend he was dressed in a nice outfit and i was dressed in a really pretty top and leggings so if there is a dress code we definitely didnt go against it, there was 3 people in front of us, and about 15 behind us, all male with the exception of two other woman, the club was pretty full so there was a bit of a wait, the one girl and other girl started talking and turns out they were both partying alone, we waited over 15 minutes before the bouncer who was very good looking started to let someone in, now all the other clubs usually follow the line but not this guy he started complimenting the one of the girls and then went “you know what you can come inside” and she then asked if the other girl could come with her he sighed a bit and said yes and let them skip the line leaving the about 6 of us who had been waiting a lot longer outside still waiting. That was a bit disappointing, i get wanting to fill the club with pretty girls but when you are out clubbing in the winter here (this was a while ago and as im just joining yelp) in -30 weather the people who have been waiting the longest should be getting in first, we have money to spend, well after standing outside for over 15 minutes and watching the bouncer let a girl skip all of us cuz she was cute and making us all wait i turned to my boyfriend and said “i dont wanna spend money at a place where they pick and chose who gets in based on who the bouncer thinks is hot because i know we arent getting in” im really pretty but im also not stick thin, and i have a boyfriend so i knew damn well they werent gonna choose us to skip the line, it looked like a fun place, the type of music i like, im sure i would have really enjoyed it there, but instead we went down to O2’s had some pizza bread, an amazing drink they created for me and played pool. I have never been back, although my favourite place shut down so i might have to attempt coming here again but no promises i will.

Allure Ink Academy Menu with Prices 2665 W Lincoln Ave, Anaheim

I first knew about Jackie back in the day when we, my friends and I were in the club scene. Humble, straightforward, hungry, and extremely down to earth. I think we were introduced 2x by our mutual friend Rishi. Fast forward years later I find out she started her own business in the industry, and even as a beginner, her work was already exceptional and exceeded my expectations for someone who is new to the industry. I reached out to Jackie in September 2018 I believe when she was running her special, finally was able to do it in 2019. BOOKING: E Z PEAZY! Can you say point and click? A confirmation gets sent to your phone. How easy and convenient is that? COMMUNICATION: Jackie was very upfront with instructions, she even includes very detailed instructions on her social media, so I mean if you dont know how to read, youre stupid if you dont follow her instructions. SHE IS A NURSE FIRST, so she knows what she is talking about. ENVIRONMENT: CLEAN & SANITIZED, very welcoming feel in her studio— its about VIBES AND I BELIEVE YOUR ENERGY INTRODUCES YOU, and HER ENERGY WAS SO VIBRANT that immediately felt comfortable. CONSULT & PROCEDURE: WOW! Explained everything from start to finish, I wasnt scared to get them done, because people are iffy especially when it comes to tattooing their face or getting stuff done from people they don’t know or they have never been acquainted with fully. But I felt like I really connected with her, I felt like she knew what I wanted and I didn’t have to explain a lot to her because as an artist and a master of her craft she knew exactly what I wanted and she perfected how I wanted my brows to look. She numbed me after our consult and her numbing creme works BOMB by the way. HANDS: If Jackie were to get into TATTOOS her hands were like my tattoo artists hands… light handed, I DID NOT EVEN FEEL A THING!!! and she even kept asking me if I was still okay on numbing? I didnt feel a thing the entire time I was there. She even had me look at each brow after mastering my look and well they were FLAWLESS. The way she executed her magic with her hands were as if I just laid there and a magic wand was workin cause ya girl didnt even feel nothin! I swear she has the lightest hands ever!!! OUTCOME: My perfectly executed brows came out AMAZING! I received lots of compliments and well the brows she covered which were previously microbladed werent even there anymore, she had not only fixed my problem, but she created a brand new and better look for me that a few of my followers and friends were asking for Jackies information. (YES A FEW OF MY FRIENDS GOT THEIR BROWS AFTER) there are so many things I want to say about Jackie but one things for sure is that even if we we’re never acquaintances before, I felt like we knew each other we were able to speak on different things and I was able to do a little therapy session with her — she’s definitely an open book a person who speaks the truth and with in the process in my procedure we were able to learn little things about each other. I am so thankful she started her business, I am so thankful I was able to finally sit down and meet with her and finally meet her sister PALAFOXXIA aka Julie — I am looking forward to our touch up. Speaking to her was very therapeutic… her work is impressive, my brows are amazing (they dont even need a touch up, but I just wanna see her anyways)–In that two hour session I learned and adopted her motto of everything is “temporary”– she has great vibes, real life situation advice– and gaddddamn this woman is a mother, a wife , a nurse, and everything else in between— So i promise you she as a person and an artist will NOT DISAPPOINT! i’m just gonna leave it right here that if you book with her it’ll be far from a regular ombre brow appt, but more of a wonderful session of laughter, learning, perfect brows!
