This is the first time a new location apparently does not care about their customers, it’s a sad day to see that the rating is not even 3 stars! I did the drive through, asked for a frozen Chi and fries with 2 ranch dressing. The lineup was a few cars in but knowing that any other Tim’s I’ve been to, it did not concern me, I thought it wouldn’t be long at all…Pfffft guess I got that wrong! Finally I am next after this truck…sitting, sitting, sitting….WTF! What seemed eternity, they finally opened the window and served the guy…1 big bag, then they closed the window, 2-3 min later opened again and gave him 1 tray of drinks, another few min, another tray came……seriously! I finally get to the window, I see my fries sitting there screaming “cold” as they sit by the window, the lady slowly grabs a cup and gets my drink together, when she finally comes to the window, I said “not one fry better be cold, because you had the option of telling that guy to pull off to the side since it was a large order and let the other customers get served” she passed me my goods and closed the window. I pulled off to the side and checked my fries, warm to touch and only 1 ranch dressing! The nonchalant attitude spoke volumes, they will not be getting my business again!

Scooter’s Coffee – Menu with Prices – 401 W O St, Lincoln

I don’t recommend this place! First, it took a few minutes for anyone to come up to the counter and help me because the 4 employees were just standing around behind the counter talking to each other about their personal lives. When someone did come up, she was very friendly. I ordered a very plain egg salad sandwich which I expected could be made right away and pretty quick too given that it is very simple and there were no other customers and the employees weren’t doing anything. But I was given a buzzer so I would be notified when the sandwich was ready. Unfortunately, the buzzer never went off so I just kept sitting there and sitting there. Until finally someone noticed me looking around wondering what was taking so long. Evidentially, my sandwich had been sitting in the window for me to take for a while. BAD idea to give a buzzer to the one and only customer you have! Wouldn’t it be smarter to give personalized service by remembering who I am and bringing it to me, especially since I’m 9 months pregnant and sitting right next to the food window? Do you really need that many employees with that few customers? Maybe if you had less, they would focus more on work and the customers than each other.

Goodfellas Cafe – Menu with Prices – 1090 Pomona Rd, Corona

Food and service are great here! Arrived here on a Sunday afternoon at approximately 3:30pm. We were greeted and seated right away and drink orders taken, we both had water and a coffee, which was a bit bitter, so we passed on the offered refill halfway thru our meal. Hubby had the meatball sandwich which was served with fries and a side of ranch and a pickle. The meatballs tasted homemade, he shared a bite with me and I swear they were as good as my Nona made them back in the day. The fries were delicious, the side of ranch dressing was a nice touch. I ordered the turkey sandwhich and a salad, which was served right away. The sandwich arrived and it was real oven-roasted turkey, served on toasted white sourdough bread, lettuce, tomato and mayonnaise. The turkey was delicious and there was plenty of it. My only complaint was it was just a bit too dry, it needed a little more mayo. The pickle that was served on the side was fresh and crisp and had a hint of cloves to it, which was a tasty surprise. The portions were very generous, and the prices are excellent. I really loved the music that the place was playing as well, brought back a lot of fond memories of my beloved Sicilian grandparents. The menu is huge too, plenty of good things to choose from. We will be back soon!

The Little Salad Shop – Menu with Prices – 45 High St, New Haven

I was looking for something healthy for a late lunch in New Haven yesterday and I was glad when I remembered this place. I went in to order a salad. There were plenty of choices, so I asked the young woman behind the counter which ones were the most popular. “They are all popular,” she said. Oh, okay, thanks. I asked what the non-meat protein options were. “Tofu and avocado.” Avocado, which has minimal protein, was an interesting option. I ended up going with the Ranchero salad with the unmentioned eggs as my protein. As the salad was made, I went to check in on Yelp and up came a deal for a $1 off my order. “Yeah, we don’t take that,” I was told. Oh. They might want to have Yelp take it down then. No exceptions were being made here. Oh, well, it’s only a dollar. There really isn’t more than a bench to sit down on here, so I went in search of a place to eat my salad. Once seated, I opened my salad. The good thing is that they give you a lot of greens and toppings. There isn’t much art in the presentation – it’s all just piled up – but there is plenty of it. So, on with the salad. I put just a third of the container of the buttermilk ranch on my salad. Oh my goodness, how do people eat this dressing and why isn’t there a warning about its ultra-spiciness? Not spicy like, hey, this has a kick. I mean more like, hey, I’m sweating and I should have bought four bottles of water instead of one. Thank God I had only put a bit of the dressing on. Otherwise it would have been completely inedible. I pushed the part with the most dressing to the side and soldiered on. In the end, I left about a third. I could not stomach any more of that five-alarm dressing and needed to head out in search of water. I needed another bottle of water and some froyo to cool down. All that said, I have gotten some good food here in the past. If they take that dressing down a few notches or at least warn people about it, it’s fine. But nothing about buttermilk ranch says creamy fiery cayenne dressing.

Jack Daniel’s – Menu with Prices – 2800 Opryland Dr, Nashville

We have been wanting to get into the Jack Daniel’s Restaurant for a while and quite often they are closed because of private parties but finally got in last night. Our waiter Devin was incredible. I was a little taken aback at the way they serve the salads… for example the wedge iceberg lettuce it’s plopped onto a piece of paper on a tray…. all the meals come on a tray, by the way and dressing was more mayonnaise than blu cheese. my wife ordered the buttermilk fried chicken sandwich. She said the chicken was okay but it was just too big to be in the bun and ate it separately. Seasoned french fries are wonderful and they give you a more than you can eat. I ordered a full rack of ribs. my wife thought they were way too smokey, I was okay with that, but wish they could have been done a little bit more. A warning about parking at Opryland. it’s $32 to park your car yourself, $40 valet. Jack Daniels does validate the parking so there’s no charge but make sure you get it validated… that’s a pretty hefty bump to take. Easiest access for the restaurant is in the Magnolia lot. they take No reservations but we came early around 6 and had no problem getting in.

Square Burger – Menu with Prices – 225 E Martin St, Raleigh

Initially I was hesitant going here after seeing their 3.5 star rating on Yelp, however after hearing about this place which was within walkin distance of my job I figured I’d give it a try anyway. I can honestly say now, that I should have taken the reviews into consideration. There is nothing special about this place at all. Went here today for the very first time and I highly doubt I will be back. There is no coordination at all between the person taking the orders and the guy making sure the completed orders are hand-given to the customers. I saw what I guessed was my bagged order sitting at the window (based on who was in front of me) for a good 5 minutes at least. I went up to the counter and the young guy behind the counter was so focused on mixing that ice cream shake that he paid no attention to the food in the window. It wasn’t even that busy. I tried knocking on the window to no avail. So I waited another 2 mins for him to gather himself and when he opened the window I said is one of these order number 97? And it was my order!! I said sir this was sitting in the window for at least 5 minutes. He offered no type of apology or anything just continued on to what he was doing. What an inconsiderate jerk. Needless to say when my wife and I finally sat down to eat the burger buns were literally cold. Not lukewarm. But actually “cold”. The cheese was not even melted on the burger patty. It looked like someone just took cold ingredients and placed it on a cooked patty. (This had nothing to do with the amount of time it was sitting in the window..I could tell it was how they prepped it beforehand). The actual taste of the burger patty itself was not bad. It was decently seasoned, however it’s nothing at all to write home about. The only good thing I can probably say about this place is that its probably the cheapest lunch spot in downtown Raleigh (maybe besides Subway and the hotdog stands lol) without spending $15. So I give them that. They dont have anywhere to eat inside so you basically have to sit outside on the benches to eat. Luckily today was very nice out but I could have done without that horrible hippy singing man and woman duo. They couldnt hold a note if their life depended on it. I know that’s not a part of the restaurant but it certainly didnt help my already subpar experience. The condiments IMHO are a bit limited. Jalepenos are not offered here. Welp at this point my fingers are tired but you get the idea . Go here at your own discretion but you have been warned.

Burger King – Menu with Prices – 353 E Brown Rd, Mesa

PLEASE READ!!!!!! ok fast food I know! But I have been to this location six times and all six times have had cold food! Cold! Please look at all of my reviews and know that I am all about positivity. Unfortunately it got to the point that it was More than just cold Food. The second to last time I was there I stood in line in the drive-through at about 9 o’clock at night. There was one car in front of me who was already at the window and I waited about 20 minutes after I had ordered. So being very own confrontational I took the food and waited when I got it I opened each one and stuck my finger in the middle and they were cold. A whopper and a chicken sandwich. So I waited a minute or two when they finally came back to the window I got their attention. When they open the window I had simply stated that both of my sandwiches were cold and I had a feeling it was because of the long wait and without saying anything she took the bag close the window and from what it looks like brought a cook over to talk to her right in front of the window. You can tell he was talking crap. When they open the door to give me the new sandwiches I asked to speak to the manager! She said my name is DESTINY I’m the manager And I don’t believe that your burger and chicken sandwich were cold I felt them. Lol I’m all about customer service so I’m not going to dwell on this just wanted to make a point of how easy it is to make people happy yet some people find it so difficult. DESTINY I really wish you the best and hope you happiness!!!

Karsen’s Grill – Menu with Prices – 7246 E 1st St #101, Scottsdale

We dropped by Karsen’s for the first time, about 5 minutes before their kitchen closed last night, and boy did they take care of us! We had salt & pepper wings (with ranch and poblano ranch – both were great but that poblano ranch!!!!!!) and a green chile stacker burger with fries and a couple of Pacificos and it totally hit the spot. The food was so fresh and delicious (OMG those fries!) and was made super fast for us. You can just tell these guys really care a lot about the food they put on your table. Our bartender/server Rocky came by and talked with us several times and we noted it was the first time in a long time that we felt like we were treated like family or old friends at a restaurant/bar. It was awesome and we will definitely be back, even if we have to drive 45 minutes to get there!

The Burnt End – Menu with Prices – 822 9th St, Modesto

Came back for a second time. The first experience was awesome food was great. This time however I ordered the brisket and loaded potato salad to go. My wife ordered chicken and fries. (Her’s was a good portion size for lunch (no issue there). They included mini corn bread as well. Loaded potato salad was ok. When I was there I had them put in a side of ranch dressing just in case my wife wanted them for her fries, Luckily I did. The salad was so so, but adding the ranch dressing kick it up a notch on the flavor. Now for the brisket, disappointing!!! First of all I got a chunk, not cut just a piece about 3″ square. For what I paid for it, thought I would get more that what I received. It was if I was eating stewed meat. It did not have the consistency of the brisket I had there prior or anywhere for that matter. From my first visit, I highly recommended them. Not anymore, unless of course you wanted chicken. My original order I wanted burnt ends. Not today he says, then I wanted Ribs, again he says not today. So I ordered brisket, man that was a huge mistake!!!! So disappointing.

Cedonia Inn Menu with Prices 5900 Moravia Rd, Baltimore

Sketchy people, dark parking lot at night, always looks closed down, and know what you want because everything is behind a bulletproof window. Customers can’t touch anything until you put your cash in the rotating window thingy.

Slim Chickens Menu with Prices 8170 W I-40 Frontage Rd, Amarillo

Really delicious! I didn’t know that this place had even opened. Went here for dinner and it wasn’t too busy. We were able to find seating in the little patio. It’s a little noisy since the restaurant is adjacent to the freeway but it’s nice to sit outside when the weather is nice. I ordered the meal with the 4 piece chicken strips. It comes with fries and a drink. I also tried the Mac and cheese. The chicken strips were great. They’re not too extremely crispy and the breading is light. The fries were delicious and they even have ranch seasoning that you can put on them. For my drink I got a lemonade and it was great! The Mac and cheese was one of the best I’ve had from a fast food restaurant. You get to choose as many dipping sauces as you want for your chicken strips. I got the ranch, spicy bbq, and buffalo. My favorite was the spicy bbq. The ranch is good quality ranch.

Wings ‘n Things Express – Menu with Prices – 5806 Troost Ave, Kansas City

Honestly it’s not that great. The food was ok I would go to wing stop and get better. The customer service was horrible. I waited by the drive through speaker box for 5 minutes before anyone said something and what they said was “can you give me a second I’ll be right with you” waited 5 more minutes for someone to take my order. I let them know it was my first time there and I would ask questions. I asked what the combo cama with and for extra sauce. They answered so rude I did not ask more questions because it was bothering them. I got my order the lady that gave me the order did not even look me in the face just put the food in the tray and closed the window and left. I saw my bags and food was missing. But there was no one at the window for me to talk to so I left it was pointless anyways. I got home the wings were dry, fries were stale, dry and unseasoned and they forgot extra sauce. Just don’t go honestly.

Whiskey Barrel Bar & Grill – Menu with Prices – US-83 BUS, McAllen

Worst place to dine in the RGV. Horrible service, cold nachos, not a single entree was served at the same time food was coming out at so many different times people were done as others in our party began, rotten ranch dressing, a freaking kids meal was served last, the manager took off the nachos and kids meals and that was it after everything was disgusting the only decent thing was the crawfish. It was my dads birthday and thanks to them it was an awful experience. Youâ??d get better food and service at McDonalds.
