Close to my work, so I go here. Some of the staff members are not doing their job nicely. Last month I went to buy chicken panini, a Filipino lady was washing dishes, then she without washing her hands made my sandwich without even using gloves. When I refused to take it, she did not accept her mistake. When I refused again, she made very weird face, but made me new sandwich. Just a tip, if anyone goes to this Tim hortons, make sure you keep an eye, if they are making with clean hands.

Hibachi House – Menu with Prices – 937 Main St, Columbia

I watched the cashier take my card, touch the public pens that customers use to sign for credit card transactions, then go drop my spring rolls WITHOUT washing her hands or even using hand sanitizer!!!! THEN she went to scoop chicken onto the grill with those same unwashed hands!!!! That’s when the cook came from the back and took over. No, he didn’t wash his hands either! She STILL didn’t wash her hands but wiped her hands on a cloth they were using to clean the counter and cooking area with before going back to taking more orders. The cook used the chicken scooping spoon that she used to drop more chicken on the grill and then proceeds to cook food. He also touched the vegetables with his BARE hands without ever washing his hands as the water at the sink WITH soap was running yet never used it to wash his hands. Even when he went to the back for whatever reason as he was cooking, he NEVER washed his hands or dried them cause his hands were wet when he came from the back!!!!! Food looks good but I’m turned off because of this. They have an A on the door however this was TOTALLY unsanitary. FYI: I made this review while waiting for my food cause I watched it all thru the glass. Not trying to sound super clean because the inside is very clean however this turned me off! Idk if I’ll come back after this.

Four Seasons Buffet – Menu with Prices – 1771 Prescott Rd, Modesto

Not really sure how to rate this, The food was decent, nice looking variety, A LOT of shrimp items, could use a little more spice/sauces/flavor but some items were good.. & i gathered samples of side sauces etc & mixed things myself.. Also wish everything was labeled, Not sure what a few meat items were (pork? chicken/duck?) So i opted for what was labeled/& or clearly what it looked like. It was good. a few sushi choices were colorful & not sure what they were, so i went for the typical mix & it was fresh. The soup needed stirred & replenished. The decor is weird, But it’s whatever.. It was pretty hot inside the building & it was a cloudy, cooler day, That made it a little unpleasant. There were 2 very young children “working” sweeping floors & they were cute. Our waitress was kind & came to refill our water (we don’t do sweet drinks with food) & take away a few plates. The place seemed clean, BUT saying that: WHILE IN THE BATHROOM WASHING MY OWN HANDS, 2 FEMALE EMPLOYEES LEFT WITHOUT WASHING THEIR HANDS! That was kind of disturbing to me. That may be a reason i do not return. Quick side note from a personal chef: cocktail sauce is not ketchup with wasabi mixed in it.

Tim Hortons – Menu with Prices – 1781 Upper Water St, Halifax

I wanted to give this Tim Hortons more stars… I really did! showed up here on my dinner break for a sammy and coffee, just because i felt like a quick no frills meal. I hate to say this but I should have gone elsewhere. ohh upper Water Street Tim Horton’s with the cold Stone Creamery why do you do this to me??? you seem so upper class for Tim Hortons! I could deal with a 20 minute wait for sandwich…. what I couldn’t deal with was how rude to staff was. They were actually nice to me, however most of the patrons I noticed they were incredibly rude to. Yes I understand it’s tourist season, in my job I deal with Tourists all day long. word to the wise they’re not that bad…. and by the way in the summertime they pay your bills. the way I saw some the staff talk to the people in line up was horrible. my little outing to Tim Hortons on Upper Water Street will be my last one to say the least. I apologize if it seems a little bit cynical but I was really not impressed with what i witnessed here today.

College Laundromat – Menu with Prices – 226 Calhoun St, Charleston

My fiancee and I have only been here twice. The first time we left with a good impression on the establishment. Today we did not. We left to grab something to eat while our clothes were washing and when we returned our clothes were out of the washer and on top of the silver table. When I looked at the time, my clothes had only been done for 2 minutes. A civilian, a complete stranger took our clothes out of the washer. Not only when they were just in there for 2 minutes of our absence but also when all the washers on the other side were available. So when I asked the worker, Marissa, what was going on she told me the woman took my clothes out and put them on the table. Then when I asked for a refund so that I could re-wash my clothes Marissa scoffed in my face and told me I wasn’t getting one because my clothes were washed. So here’s my issue, after our clothes were washed a stranger pulled out all our clothes, underwear and all. We don’t know her, we don’t know if she has a disease or infection or if she just got done picking her nose or butt. We don’t know where her hands have been at all. Then our clothes were put on the table that most people use. We do not use the table. We put our clothes in a sanitary bag after washing and after drying. So common sense would tell you that even though our clothes went through the washing cycle they’re no longer clean because this establishment allowed a complete stranger to touch my belongings when there was absolutely no need for her to do so. So not only were our clothes contaminated but I also received unpleasant service from Marrisa, the worker at this establishment. Buy your own washer and dryer or go someplace else if you want fair service.

Honey Sliced Ham – Menu with Prices – 1321 Guerneville Rd, Santa Rosa

I went to honey sliced ham nearly every week for the past few months. I always order the same sandwich and they have always gotten it right except for 1 time. It’s a really good sandwich and since I’m pregnant I’m very specific with what I want. Today there was 1 sandwich maker and the owner present. The owner rang someone up and took cash, then after the transaction she touched the top of my bread that was in the toaster to see if it was hot. I started to say “uhhh” and then asked if she could ring me up because I didn’t want her touching my food with filthy hands. After she rung me up she went to the back so I asked the other sandwich maker to finish my sandwich since the owner just handled cash and touched my food without washing her hands. Also, this sandwich maker has helped me many, many times in the past and the way she makes it is perfect. The owner came back out from the back and proceeded to make my sandwich. The other sandwich maker CLEARLY told her that I had asked her to finish my sandwich. The owner said “I just washed my hands” and continued to make my sandwich despite being told I wanted someone else to do it. Plus, there was another customer waiting that she kept waiting to finish my sandwich. I am very unsatisfied and debating whether or not to eat the sandwich since I don’t know if she actually washed her hands or not, or even used soap. It’s hard as a customer to watch an owner MICROMANAGE her employees. When you hire someone, LET THEM DO THEIR JOB. I’ve witnessed many times that only the owner will ring people up even when there’s 6 people in line, extra sandwich makers, and the owner is in the back. It makes me think she doesn’t trust anyone to handle money or let them ring people up. I will not be back and here’s a photo of my sandwich. I had to chop off the sides because I don’t know which side she touched with dirty hands!

Treehouse Restaurant and Pub Menu with Prices 7 Kings Cir NE, Atlanta

Don’t waste your time, with so many good restaurants in the Atlanta this one is a complete waste of time. I went with a couple friends the other night. Decent service at first. My food and one of my buddies food came out and we thought “well the runner only has two hands” so the last food should be out any second. Ten minutes later we flag down the food runner and ask where the last place of food is. He looks dumbfounded and says he will check. The waitress runs down to us and says something about the system having an accept button and it didn’t get placed but is being cooked right now. No apologies offered, but she did ask if we wanted another round of drinks (I would have thought she would have said, “let me treat you to a around.”) Another 15 minutes goes by still no food. My buddy decides it isn’t worth waiting anymore and goes inside to tell the waitress to cancel his food since everyone else is already done with dinner. Side note I got the wicked burger and it was completely flavorless. How do you make bland pimento cheese?!? Anyways the owner was shooting the breeze with a couple of guys sitting inside and asked if there was a problem, and my friend told them what happened and he didn’t seem like it was a big deal, THEN LEFT the building. At this point the food is finally coming out and my friend refuses the food, which I guess annoyed them but now it’s been almost an hour and we are ready to go. The waitress hands us the check and it still includes the food that never arrived and we tell the waitress and she gets pissed off at us! She got mad and stormed off and refused to talk to us. So then we are dealing with the bartender and he messes the bill up 2 more times! It took us an additional 30 minutes just to pay the bill and leave. First and last time I will ever darken that doorway! So many better places than this dump! To the rude waitress: grow up and accept when you have made a mistake. Getting pissed off at someone else for your mistakes shows how terrible of a waitress you are….

Philly’s Sports Bar & Grill – Menu with Prices – 1805 E Elliot Rd Suite 105, Tempe

Went there three times and had the same experience exactly. Took forever for service. Had to flag down a server to order after being ignored for over fifteen minutes, all the while watching the young server gals hanging out with regulars or their friends, petting their dogs, not washing their hands afterwards by the way. I felt like they were mad at me for walking around trying to find a server when I told them we had been there twenty minutes and hadn’t even got the water we had ordered. Felt like they probably spit in our food, which was however, pretty good once we finally got it. Hence two stars instead of one. Seems like they take care of their regulars, and their regular’s dogs, but not fresh blood. Also, wash your hands. I work in food service. Wash your hands and tend to all of your customers.

Muto lzakaya Restaurant Menu with Prices 105 E Chestnut St, Bellingham

I still can’t believe what happened tonight. Our server made a mistake and brought out a wrong dish. I ordered a poke SALAD, but he brought out a poke BOWL. I didn’t noticed the error until I saw the bill. I pointed that out to the server, assuming that he would just correct the mistake (so that I would pay for what I ordered rather than when he brought out by mistake). The server was apologetic but kept saying there’s nothing they could do to fix it. His manager came out and told me the same thing but WITH AN ATTITUDE. I’m Japanese and I hate any kind of confrontation especially in public. I was with my son and his friend’s family even, but I’m not naive enough to pay extra for a mistake the server made. Anyway, it was still so embarrassing for me to “argue” with the manger. At a normal restaurant in the US, THEY will apologize for having made a mistake and promptly correct the mistake. I just could not believe why they had to make such a big deal out of a small mistake their server made. The manager finally said to me “Next time when there’s a mistake, tell us before you eat it, OK?” in a very condescending manner. He unwillingly corrected the mistake, brought back the corrected bill, STUCK it out in front of my face, and said “Are you happy now?” It then all made perfect sense to me why the server started sweating PROFUSELY when he realized he’d made a mistake. His manager is a big A**HOLE! First and foremost, I recommend that you do not work here as a server. Second, please do not support a business where the management intimidates their employees or their customers. ***************************** If you found something useful in my review, please hit “useful” so that I can improve my future reviews. Joe’s Seafood, Burgers, and Bar-B-Que – Menu with Prices – 4224 Ash Ln #2614, Dallas

The service was awful. The food even worse. None of the employees smiled or made eye contact when I walked in. The employees preparing the food also weren’t wearing plastic gloves or hair bonnets. The man cooking the food was sweating heavily and he was constantly wiping away sweat with his bare hands and using his shirt to wipe the sweat away. He wiped his sweaty forehead with his hand and then went and picked up the bread to use for the poboy I had ordered with the same hand. At that point I was disgusted and asked if he could use gloves. Another woman started screaming ‘we wash our hands!!’ and what good does washing your hands do when you are wiping away sweat with the same hand you are using to handle food? The food was terrible. It had all been already fried and simply dropped in oil to reheat. All of the food had a leathery texture. It was also seasoned poorly. The bar-b-que sandwich tasted the same. It was dry. Not moist. There was little, if any, bar-b-Que sauce on the meat. The catfish poboy came with two hard pieces of bread. Nothing else on it. But a catfish filet and old, hard bread. No condiments whatsoever. No lettuce or pickes or tomatoes. Nothing. Just a plain sandwich. Not dressed up. I won’t return. This is a terrible restaurant.

La Gusgueria – Menu with Prices – 14680 Wallisville Rd, Houston

I loved this place! I had a mangonada and we tried their funnel cake and it was delicious! They have many treats I have never tried but they have ice cream and Mexican frozen pops too. I like that it was clean and the people there are really nice. I will definitely go back. They accept debit/ credit cards if the transaction is over $5 and they do not accept bills larger than $50.

Bombón Restaurant Bar & Lounge – Menu with Prices – 1118 N Washington Blvd, Sarasota

The food is really good. Their service and how they treat their customers is horrible. I work at an office probably a half a mile from them we order takeout between all of our departments probably several times a week. Yesterday when we ordered we were missing two tacos. When we called the restaurant in regards to getting either replacement food or the $2 back we were hung up on three times in a row. When we went to the restaurant the door was slammed in our face. My coworker was called ugly names very inappropriate for management of a restaurant or bar and told never to come back. All because the restaurant messed up the order. Another time it look like someone put their hands in one of our orders when we went to the restaurant to ask them to be make it or give us a refund for that part of the order they refused and substituted a couple tacos in place which was a quarter of the price paid for the meal in question.

Mana Mana Middle Eastern Restaurant – Menu with Prices – 530 Park St, Clearwater

Hold the phone!!!!! This food was wonderful. Four stars only because it was super hot inside and a little run down. Not letting that stop us we went to the menu. The menu is short but powerful. Suggestion to the owner: get pictures and a description of the sandwiches up on the board. It would take less than an hour for you to update your board and would cost you very little. There is one outside that has explanations…. We had a kebab and another sandwich hat starts with an S. Both delicious. Filled with eggplant(?) and fresh chopped cucumbers, tomatoes and such plus a white sauce. Both were $9 each. Offered a free tasting of falafel which was absolutely out of this world. Service was fantastic. The man, owner I assume, gave us utensils and hot sauce plus a pickle. I can’t begin to tell you how great this meal was. You need to visit them. Don’t be afraid of it because it looks a little on the run down side. They are a small family owned business trying to make it in a big boy (McDonalds) world. It was pretty clean. You will smell like fried food when you leave. They accept cash and credit card. Suggestion: put a sticker on the door that says you accept credit cards. We assumed cash only because no sign saying otherwise so we only ordered one sandwich. We asked and since they accept cc we ordered another sandwich and a can of soda. This place could be ship shape in two days if they would take the time to organize and spruce it up. But it works the way it is, too. Long story short, eat here. Wonderful owner. Wonderful food.
